I never used this company for flooring but would not recommend them. Scott, the president, came out to my house to do a wood flooring inspection for a company after I contested the wood quality and installation quality of wood flooring that was installed. He said the flooring was fine and only needed fixing in one small area. Eventually a NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association) inspector came to my house and found both the wood quality and installation were unacceptable. I don’t know if Scott either doesn’t know NWFA standards or was paid off by the repair company. Either way I would not recommend that you use this company because either option is not a good indicator of a reputable business.

I recently had a new kitchen floor put in. I was very impressed with Scott,Raquel and the installers. The job was done right and they cleaned up afterwards. This is my 2nd experience with Ga. Carpet.I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting new flooring.

I deducted a star for each problem I had with them.Such as ending up with some of my old padding, an extra seam, a very visible seam across the diningroom, and it still cost me the $1,515.00 for a relatively small area.When the sales person came to my house to measure for new carpet, his estimate was over $200 more than he quoted me in the store for the room size I gave him. He said they would honor his original price, but then I noticed he downgraded my padding on the receipt.Then I spoke to the owner who told me he would honor the original deal with the better pad, then the installer shows up with cheap padding without a vapor barrier.Now they have to go get better padding. As they were doing the installation of the pad, I noticed an odor of mildew on one of the rolls of padding that they brought. So they have to use half of my old padding to make up for the moldy garbage they brought.As the carpet is going down the installer tells me the salesperson measured wrong, and they had to make another seam from the scrap pieces to get the carpet to fit. Then I get to pay them $1,515.00.Ill not be using this company again.

I highly recommend Georgia Carpet to anyone who is looking to put new flooring in their home. Georgia Carpet team does excellent work, very professional and will work with you and make sure that you are totally satisfied with your new flooring. Georgia Carpet is the best.
