Honestly the whole staff was amazing. I am Terrified of going to the dentist and every single person there including Ruben and Dr Castillo were great! The hygienist and assistant were also super gentle and nice, I just didn’t get their names. Everyone made me feel welcome and were super gentle knowing how much I hate getting dental work done. This is my new dentist office for myself and whole family going forward. Thank you guys for being so nice and understanding!

Great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Everyone really took there time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I highly recommend this dentist clinic.

Terrible. Went in for normal exam and they were very rough. That night a filling came lose. Can’t help but think they caused that. Went again because the filling came loose. They immediately told me I needed to get the tooth extracted. No explanation or anything. They also said they recommended I go ahead and take my wisdom teeth out while they are doing the extraction. Got a second opinion and they laughed when I told them an extraction was recommended. only in it for the money. Thankfully I didn’t let them extract. I’m now keeping my tooth and saving money. -5 stars for this place.

Avoid this dental office.Called in to schedule a cleaning as a new patient. Initially pushed out a few weeks, totally understandable. Get a call that day saying something became available for the next day, even better.Go to the office, have me fill out paperwork, they took all the standard images. Was advised that we needed to wait for the Dentist before getting started with the cleaning. The dentist comes in and points out all the things that are wrong, already feeling like something is off. Next thing is oh sorry, we cant do your cleaning today but we can schedule you to have all of this fixed now.As soon as they saw insurance to bill it felt like they were going for it. Everyone knew I was there for a cleaning and then denied this fact once they saw they screwed up. Not a fan of predatory tactics.

My experience with this dentist was very friendly, trusting,comfortable, and sure that I would get don what was needed for me. The doctor is well experienced and well educated in performing her skill. This was my second time going there, and will go back!!!! She is caring, also humble. She has A GREAT STAFF. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I went in for a cleaning at 8am and didn’t get to work until 2pm that day. First the poor technician that tried helping me was all hyped up on caffeine and couldn’t keep her hand still, then the x-ray machine wouldn’t work. They had to do a different type of x-ray. Then the dental hygienist came in and had to re-do the x-rays that were already taken. Then all of a sudden the other x-ray machine worked. So then I got that done. And to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if I get a letter in the mail saying I owe because I had so many x-rays taken!! Then the hygienist informed me that I had gingivitis and would have to do a more extensive cleaning and my insurance wouldn’t cover it. I said go a head since I’ve never had gingivitis and figured okay she knows what she’s talking about ...and then after started cleaning she told me “oh never mind the plaque is coming off” After the cleaning and 2 hours of waiting the MD came in and quickly went over my x-rays informing me that I had 3 cavities. Once again I’ve NEVER had 3 cavities at the same time. Maybe one. But not 3! I said whatever go ahead and fix it. As I was leaving another patient was checking out and making appointments apparently he had TWELVE CAVITIES!! It clicked with me that this seemed a little off...but I let it go in hopes my teeth would be fine now.Ruben and the office manager are the only reason I’m giving a 2 star because they were so nice. But other than that...I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.My appointment was on 5/21...And I am having more teeth problem than I have ever in my life....the 3 “cavities” that needed to be filled are so sensitive I can’t eat warmed up left overs and or a salad because it’s so cold/hot.

The are so Friendly. I really am so glad that I choose this dental office. All of the staff members are professional,nice and they make sure that you are comfortable. Don’t let the word “Friendly” fool you. They out for the money y’all. They out here trying to secure the BAG!! Went here for a check up and exam for the first time and they told me I had 8 cavities. I knew that was a lie cause I recently had all my cavities filled when I lived in DC 6 months earlier. Went to get a second opinion and I only had 1.

I received my crowns here on my two front teeth and they look great! Dr. Tran and her assistant, Mae did a wonderful job! Iove the team at this Friendly Dental, I have a special bond with Ruben, the dental assistant, he is awesome, and Elizabeth the lady that cleans my teeth she is also phenomenal they are very gentle and knowledgeable. I have 2 crowns done, my first one was incredibly well done and it feels like its my original one, however my second crown feels different im not really happy with it, they for sure listen your concerns, they are trying to figure it out and fix it. Thanks Friendly Dental.

They really are friendly and professional at the same time. This was my first visit to a dentist in several years. I was very impressed with the fact that my mouth was not at all sore after my cleaning, flossing and polishing was complete. The hygenist that worked with me was very personable and helpful...she offered lots of tips to help me improve my oral health. The doctor really took her time and explained what procedures I needed to have done and why.I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to return for my dental care in the future.

Person at the front desk was not friendly not helpful at all. I felt as though she was scared to Interact with me. I was told that I cancelled my appointment in which I did not after 30 minutes of sitting in the lobby trying to verify my insurance. After I spoke with my insurance and verified my insurance, I was told that one of the staff members needed to speak with insurance company and the verification can take up to 20 minutes. Poor communication! I would never recommend this place based on the front staff alone

Definitely friendly! Very helpful and informative staff. Only downside was having to get my cleaning rescheduled because the hygienist was running behind schedule.

Please avoid. This was the most uncomfortable procedure I’ve received in my life. The numbing was painless (awesome) though not effective (it happens). I still had sensation (again it happens) and felt the dental assistant shoving the rinse tool so far into my gums that I had to “raise my hand for pain.” I told them that the rinse tool was hurting, to which Dr. Tran responded - “He’s not numb enough.”Instead of being more gentle the dentist shoved so much lidocaine into me that I left the office confused and so dizzy that I had to sit in the car for five minutes after my two hour procedure so I felt sober enough to drive. Right now, I can literally trace the marks in my mouth that the tool made. That area is very inflamed and I can feel at least five tool implants in my skin.The dentist shoved her knee on the top of my head all through the procedure. I’m a man in my 30’s and halfway through I felt like my neck was sprained. I workout a lot, and this was rough for me. I asked a dentist friend about this - and he said some dentists do this but that he never would because it causes pain and isn’t necessary.What a nightmare. Thank god the dental assistant noticed my hand parked under my neck and offered a pillow, but Dr. Tran responded “Now how am I going to do the work?” What is going on????

The team at Friendly Dental group is right on the mark it comes to both customer service and operational procedures.Jordan who is at the front desk is just as the company suggests as very friendly and professional. Met a great guy named Rueben who did my X-rays. He is both professional and does a first class job. Elizabeth who was my hygienist was professional as well and very informative to what I could do better moving forward. Edith who runs the show as the office manager was right up front and studious when she was going over my billing options due to me needing to return for several visits in order to get back on track with my dental visits.What can I say the team at Friendly Dental which is a newer location that has Dr. Tran as their Dentist has a very bright future as they restore my smile.I would highly suggest that you make your appointment with this group of professionals as soon as you can. They truly care about people as Infound out on my first visit. Your not just a number, your cares about by the family at Friendly Dental.

HORRIBLE experience here. The place is staffed with 12 year olds, everyone was very nervous and unprofessional. They told me they couldn’t even do the cleaning bc there wasn’t time but the dentist could do an “exam”. The dentist looked at the x rays and didn’t even glance in my mouth. She told me I had FIFTEEN cavities. She then got angry at me for being shocked and in disbelief. She showed me the xrays and was visibly annoyed that I didn’t believe her. I called my previous dentist in another city while still in her chair to set up a second opinion appointment. My previous dentist viewed the X-rays and did an exam and found 0 cavities. Huge scam here STAY AWAY.

The worst experience I have ever had at the dentist. Im new to the Carolinas and decided to give this place a try. Ive never been scared while getting work done on my teeth, this dentist had me in tears. She is not gentle at all. She told me the only way she would work on me again is if I took the prescription of Valium she prescribed me for my next appointment. This is all after she gave me 7 shots for 2 fillings. With 7 shots I could still feel her drilling on my tooth. The office staff is so unorganized and unprofessional. I received numerous phone calls from the office calling to remind me of appointments that werent even mine. They also scheduled me twice for the wrong dental work. I would not recommend this office.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Rushed to do extractions TWO of them. Felt almost everything during the process. Had to constantly ask for more numbing medicine, talking to each other (Dr. Tran & assistant) during the extractions as well. NO I would NOT recommend anyone to come here. Prescription was very weak had to ask for another. Just overall a bad dentist to bring anyone..just after your money.

Nobody should have to deal with such a dishonest place, especially when health costs are so high.I went here as a new patient for a cleaning and checkup, suspecting that I might have a cavity in one tooth. They told me on the phone that my initial visit (a cleaning & exam) would cost $115. They did the exam, but skipped the cleaning, telling me that I needed a deep cleaning ($800) and eight fillings! I decided to get a second opinion because I take good care of my teeth and the whole thing sounded very, very suspicious.I got a second opinion at B******** Family Dentistry. The dentist there told me that he saw no reason for a deep cleaning and he performed a regular cleaning for $89. He found just two cavities and said he had NO idea what the Friendly Group was looking at when they diagnosed 8 cavities.Obviously Ill never go back, and I hope this will help others avoid such an experience.

Good experience. Got two teeth extracted and it was painless through the entire process and Dr. Tran(not sure if I spell right) is amazing!

Karmatically I had to get a second opinion since they screwed up with my insurance and told me they take it when they didnt. I paid out of pocket for the exam because they told me everything else would be covered. It was not. They realized just before numbing me up.Place tried to upsell me by a wide margin. Essentially they wanted to go all out $1000 crowns at any slight problem I had. And from someone that has a crown already and regrets it: they dont feel natural and should be a last resort. Composite is standard for a reason.

Overall great office, friendly staff and they get straight to business. Will be back for sure

If I could give this location 0 stars I would primarily due to the lack of experience from Dr. Tran! I previously was always seen at the Southpark location which happens to be excellent. I came here to have a cleaning which was completed and the next day I was scheduled to have all four wisdom teeth extracted. Dr.Tran examined my mouth and told me she could perform the surgery and when I return the next day she told me I would have to see a surgeon for the bottom two. I told her that would be fine but I prefer for the surgeon to do all 4 instead of 2. She proceeds to examine my mouth again and tell me she can perform the surgery, I looked at her and asked was she positive because she previously stated I needed to go to the surgeon and she stated “yes she was positive”. Absolutely the WORST decision I could have ever made!!!! She pulled and tugged on my mouth like I was a rag doll and had no remorse! She stretched my mouth so wide I had sores from the cracking for a week and the pain was unbearable! She knew she was wrong because they called to check on me when I left the office. I will never let her come close to my mouth again! For her to be this inexperienced and rude is ridiculous! I will be reporting her to the NC Dental Society because she has ruined the franchise reputation! No one should ever feel that much pain especially under anesthesia!!! She will be reported for this type of practice under such an important licensure. As a medical professional I know how patients suppose to be treated and what she did was 100% unethical!

Awful, Dr Tran was having a full convo with the dental assistant not even looking at wht she was doing when she decided to drill the hell outta one of my back teeth hitting the nerve multiple times, I flinched multiple times and finally she asked if it hurt then went right back to talking with the dental assistant. Not worth the time or moneyDO NOT GOT HERE!!! My tooth is now permanently ruined and I still get the pain and it is now overly sensitive to cold!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!! She is AWFUL! After my 8 year old son was seen at the south park location he was referred to this location for fillings. We made the appointment two weeks ago and when we arrived they had none of his I nformation and had no clue why we were there. The dentist was incredibly rude and afternoon an hour and 15 minutes decided she would refer us to get another office because my son started crying. She has no compassion what so ever and clearly hates her job!! In fact, the only decent person in the entire establishment was our dental assistant Luis.

I never even got in to see a dentist here. i needed work on my plate because a tooth had broken off and I was told to go back to my original doctor in Upstate NY! Very unfriendly, indeed! I also needed a lot of other work done, as does my husband, but they werent interested. an elite facility.

Don’t bother coming to this location, every time I’ve been schedule for an appointment they advised that xrays are required when they only force you to have them so they can bill your insurance outrageous costs. I brought my son on a Saturday and was told he couldn’t he in the office and there’s no place for kids well I’m assuming they don’t see kids either l. Everyone including dentist sit at the front desk talking having unnecessary conversations, unprofessional and inconsiderate and will never return and tell everyone I know not to either.

Worst experience . First visit I they just did some x rays and claimed they didnt have time for the cleaning . I was initially told that I had four cavities . Days before my appointment I called and asked if maybe I could get the four cavities done on two sitting because of my dental anxiety . I was told no.Second visit it was time for the four filings and out of no where they told me I had six . I also mentioned how I had anxiety when it comes to dentist. Neither the assistant or the dentist gave a dam . Keep in mind Im pregnant so medicine doesnt last long . Long story short she did the left bottom and tried to do the the top as well knowing the medicine has worn off . I expressed my discomfort and was rudely told to return the following week. The dentist was I. A fish per say and she wasnt very personable at all. The male demtal assistant was ok but could have been better.Shortly after the visit I called and mentioned I couldnt close between my upper teeth . The person answering the phone swore they didnt do any work on the upper. I informed him I was half numb not sleep. Plus I was able to floss perfectly fine before the visit so explain that .Third visit was the worst . I mean the worst in my life. I ask myself why did I return . Truthfully I didnt want to let my anxiety get the best of me. But I sure should have followed my first mind and went else where . This visit I had a different assistant who was great . I liked her beauty as she was kind and explained what was going on and the dentist kind of picked up on that . This visit the dentist was just doing the upper two she started on the week prior .she numbs me and I.shortly after some drilling o began to bleed. She gave me gauze to bite on for sometime. During this time she went and work on someone else. By the time she returned I made it know the medicine had worn off. She gave me more medicine the. Immediately after she squirted water in my open teeth. This was very painful and o didnt understand why she would so such a thing . She left to give me and the medicine time. When she came back I told her I still wasnt numb. The assistant tested the whole woth air and I could still feel everything . I was given more medicine and of course she risked to finish all the while I wasnt numb and in discomfort . I was in there screaming and couldnt wait for her to finish. I could go on and on but it was horrible . Im about 7 months pregnant and o have never threw up until that last visit . Im think it was from all the medicine I was given . Long story short think twice before coming to this friendly dental

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!! They have no compassion. I should have changed dentist a long time ago! The first time I went in i was pregnant they told me i needed an extensive amount of work done to wait until I had the baby and come back, well I needed a deep cleaning done they told me they needed to send a request to my insurance to get it approved. A few months later when I went back in to get my deep cleaning they never sent the request but told me they would send it. A few weeks later I called they still had not sent it I spent 15 minutes speaking with them while they tried to figure out why it had not been sent they told me to call back in a few weeks. After it finally got accepted I went in and advised Dr. Tran of my fear of the dentist she recommended that she write me a prescription for valium so I had reschedule my cleaning to get it filled. When it was finally time to get it done they gave me about 12 shots of novacaone I was numb for 8 hours and while they was administering it was so much novacaone that I could literally taste it causing me to throw up. when I went back to get the other half of my mouth cleaned I asked if I could not have as much novacane as last time they made a big deal that they had to use that much they couldnt use less after talking to the office manger they finally agreed to use less and I did not feel a thing. I still had more work that needed done so I told them my other doctor didnt want me taking the valium instead my dr wanted me to take alprazolam because it could cause a reaction with the other medicine I take daily they told me to have my doctor fax them which she did then when I called to schedule a time to pick up the prescription they told me they would no longer see me anymore for absolutely no reason what so ever I was in such shock they would tell me that I started crying. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!
