Chester is BOMB! He’s super talented at what he does and always has my boys looking good when we leave. He always takes his time and makes my kids feel comfortable!

Firstly, I like no grease and the haircuts are pretty good. The problem at this point is completely covid-19 related. It stems from the lack of experienced management in the shop. Ive been here multiple times since barbershops were allowed to reopen. At first they were cleaning after every person etc. and were masked up. Recently when its even more important around the holidays, they are not as diligent. Recently, I watched DC take back to back customers with no cleaning of the chair in-between. Even more importantly, he DID NOT change his gloves. They will be a super spreader in no time. There is a need for training. You are not protecting your customers by putting on gloves, using the same pair on more than one customer, touching your phone, using the computer all with the same pair! Now on to the masks, they are hanging off, noses uncovered (especially the no grease branded version) and they are normally screaming through them to talk to each other over clients heads. They are just not being safe with people dying everyday. Moreover, the masks need to stay on! If you finish with your client, you do not take it off and then walk around talking over other barbers clients. The customers are unmasked so if you are infected, you will get us infected. It just doesnt make sense.

This is a great barber shop. My non profit wanted to do something nice for a few underprivileged teenage boys so, we decided to ask this location if they’d be willing to donate haircuts. The owner Edmund graciously allowed us to come. Chester and the other two very nice barbers were not only kind but still maintained the utmost professionalism and efficiency. Each young man that received a haircut walked out with a sense of pride, not to mention they looked great! We appreciate the generosity of Edmund and his team and I highly recommend No Grease Northlake ♥️

This barber shop in particular has such an amazing atmosphere filled with personable and professional staff. DC always takes his time when cutting and styling my undercut making sure I’m pleased with the finished look. I leave very satisfied with the result. When DC wasn’t there, Vic made sure he took care of my hair needs giving me an awesome cut with a cool design. I appreciate the dedication these men have in providing great quality cuts and service.

Best barber shop I’ve been to in Charlotte. I booked an appointment and DC was ready with a smile and definitely gave me the best fade I’ve had in a while. I felt welcomed unlike most barber shops, speedy service and very professional.

I bring my 2 and 6 year old here for haircuts , and my 6 year old Hates haircuts so he freaks out. Most barbers would give up on trying to cut with the way my son has acted in the past , but Chester makes sure he gets it done no matter what! It took us a while to find a barber to stick with but weve been bringing our boys here since October with no problem!

My son have asian hair and to keep a long hair style without sticking up it needs to stay long so the weight can do the job. I asked for a very low fade and explained not to cut high specially on the back. Seems like it kept messing up and so kept cutting up. This looks very sloppy for a professional. Seems like they concentrate more in short cuts and fades but for a barber they should be trained to deal with all kinds of hair. Now i have to pay another barber to fix the mess.
