Run run run! This place has been through so many different staff and management. From one company to another and multiple people in and out. No one has been professional. Promises and written statements don’t matter here. They just want your money. Tell you one thing and charge you for another. If you sign a lease I’m sorry for you. Worst mistake I’ve ever made staying here.

My husband and I absolutely LOVE living here! I cannot say enough positive things about this place. The amenities are stunning and the entire Newton staff is such a pleasure to work with! The homes are spacious, new, and the layouts are gorgeous. We are so happy here!

The apartments are nice but the staff are not professional and they’re very sketchy ! They’re so nice when they want to rent the apartment but as soon as you move in they give you a hard time..Management doesn’t have a clue what they’re doing I guess that’s why they got slapped with a law suit. Packages go missing all the time it was the worst experience I have ever had while living there.

The Newton apartments are by far my favorite! The office and management are very professional and work hard to keep the neighborhood clean and to resolve any concerns of ours. Definitely recommend!

Let me just start off by saying. Cayla is AWESOME! She is so helpful and so fast to respond. She truly care about the people and community. Top notch service! The Newton has the most perfect location, literally right by the lake. It is the most modern building! I love my new home and would recommend this place to everyone. Drop in for a tour and ask for Cayla! This place is family!

Weve lived at the Newton since Oct. 2019 and we absolutely love it! The staff are so friendly + welcoming, we have so many resident events which is fabulous for meeting others in the community! The apartment aesthetics are above and beyond anything in the area... from the stainless steel appliances (brand new!) to the heavy duty window blinds and of course the two tone kitchen cabinets. We love living here and highly recommend the Newton!

My experience with the Newton has been above and beyond! The property itself is so gorgeous and well maintained. The amenities available are so luxurious. I cant wait for the ones in construction to be completed as they will be a wonderful addition to the already relaxing atmosphere they have here. My apartment itself is beautiful and well designed with my comfort in mind. I personally love the high end finishes and hardwood floors the most. The staff here is incredibly professional and welcoming. They answered all my questions prior to signing a lease and made sure I was in the right floor-plan for my needs. The staff does weekly events to bring the community together and it is a great way to get to know your neighbors. The events have been very creative and are fun activities for all ages. I love being able to call this place my home.

I loved touring this community. Cayla is GREAT!!! Very charming and knowledgeable of the community. She made choosing an apartment and moving from out of town smooth and simple. I enjoy it here :)!

Current resident here. We were so excited to move into the Newton when we first toured with Sara... Since then however, it takes maintenance 2-3 weeks to come to our apartment to fix ANYTHING. Our fire alarm was broken for 3 weeks, heaven forbid it caught fire or anything right? They don’t send you emails or anything when it comes to maintenance fixing things which is also very inconvenient as most people are working from home and would like a heads up. Newton doesn’t believe in that. They care more about how good the community looks on Instagram. I haven’t seen one community bike nor scooter they advertise online, no snack room is open, haven’t even been able to touch the gym, (so I drive to fort mill daily). They only care about getting people in here. Once you’re in, you’re STUCK. $1550 could get you a lot somewhere else. So look elsewhere.-UPDATE- : New staff is trying hard to undo what the previous staff did/couldn’t.

Last minute we chose these apartments because my husband had an immediate job transfer. We thought these would be safe considering we have a 2YO daughter and the Newton’s site claims that these are luxury apartments. This complex has slowly turned into what feels like section 8 housing. The staff is very young and will not even contact us back regarding our vehicle getting vandalized on their property and treated us as though it was “hear-say.” Nor have they sent out notices concerning the fighting and cussing fits going on directly below us. There’s also been marijuana coming through our vents! Trying to enjoy an evening with my daughter on our back deck turns into us smelling marijuana. Our neighbor knocked on our door and told us it was coming through his vents and he was getting fed up so he moved. They told us no one lived in the apartment below us but turns out that was a lie. Also, if you want to enjoy a day at the pool be prepared for it to be dominated by some of the residents they’ve allowed to live here. Because of yelling and slamming gates at the pool our visit got cut to a short 30 min. I do not recommend these apartments. Because of their failure to even respond to us, we will be sure to let our friends and family know NOT to choose these! These apartments have ruined their reputation.

Pros: BEAUTIFUL appartments for a good price. The appartment itself really is worth every penny. Amazing appliances, good storage amount of space (only down side is no coat closet or place to hang them), pretty balcony, washer and drying in the units (I had to use a laundry mat for over 2 years sk trust me this is an awesome touch), etc. The appartments are worth every penny but then you add in all the other features. Free gym, coffee bar, printer, work spaces, and games on site (in the office board games and outside cornhole, botchy, ping pong table). The area itself has malls, great food, and groceries near by. The community itself has great walking paths and feels safe. Staff are friendly and do give aways and community events each month (wine and snacks was free this month just walk in and ask for the baggie and bingo is the activity of the month!) Also, very pet friendly; I love seeing all the happy four legged friends. Love it here!Cons: I did ask maintenance to call and ask when they would be entering my appartment and they did not. Occasionally you can hear your neighbors music but this has hapoened so little (Ive live heard 4 months and Ive only ever heard my neighbors music/TV 3 or 4 times). It is suppose to be a smoke free site but I have smelt weed being smoked every once and a while (again maybe 3 or 4 times).Overall, I am incredibly happy here! I am sitting enjoying a free cup of joe in a cozy chair in the community center, and was so happy I decided to write this review.

My truck got vandalized on Newton grounds and the company hasn’t even tried responding to us as they stated they would. Someone got upset we were in their parking spot but there are no reserved spaces. Maybe they should hire management actually trained to deal with issues. The quality of life here is poor... with the section 8 housing residents they’ve moved into their so called “luxury” apartments, you’re bound to have issues. They are over taking this place. My 2 year old has gotten to inhale marijuana and hear the F word over and over and over again. These apartments are absolutely awful. Because of the companies lack of response, I’m leaving this review here to warn others. If you want your property damaged, and on 6 different occasions someone walk into your apartment without a notice, (they do not nock)...come here! You will regret it.

We are a military family and will be moving to the Newton this week. I have been working with Jordan the assistant manager over the phone and through email for the last month. Anyone who has dealt with a PCS or just moving from one state to another knows how frustrating it can be. Jordan has made this move so easy for us and I can’t thank her enough! I have changed my apartment and move in date multiple times and she has been so accommodating and pleasant every time.

If you are looking for outstanding customer service and a beautiful place to stay, I recommend the Newton! First off Alicia is a wonderful apartment manager! She is nice and very professional. I was displaced from my previous apartment location due to a fire and Alicia was compassionate and understanding. She provided me with wonderful customer service and was there to answer all of my questions/concerns. She helped turn a unpleasant situation into a good one. I definitely would give more than five stars! I am looking forward to my stay here!-I was displayed from my previous apartment complex up the street due to a fire and received horrible customer service. With that being said I decided to part ways and look for a new residence. In my apartment search I came across The Newton an decided to reach out . Ive received awesome customer service through out my entire process and hope it continues!

We love the Newton!! Beautiful area and the units are so spacious and have all new appliances. We can’t wait to use all of the amenities. The staff is so friendly and are happy to help with any requests. We are so happy we chose to live here!
