We stayed at this rental for a family vacation and found it to be the perfect place for us. The location to Folly restaurants, and to the beach was perfect. The location of the condo was ideal - only a short walk to both the beach and town. The condo was clean and comfortable. There is an unobstructed view of the ocean from the deck. Hannah provided awesome customer service. She responded immediately to our inquiries. She was very pleasant and accommodating. This company will cancel your booking saying something like property under renovation but then reopen the property for more money. I booked two properties to which both were cancelled due to renovations being made but yet days later it was back open to book but for a lot more money. So this company does not honor your bookings and will cancel on you if they feel they can get more money.

I recently stayed at a property owned by this management company — the Seagrass/Coral Hudson Retreats in Folly beach in Charleston. I am writing this review because of a serious safety concern.While I was there, both myself and my two daughters, ages six and eight, received electric shocks while swimming in the backyard pools. This was caused by stray voltage — a known and potentially deadly concern — if a pool is not constructed properly, which I know now. This happened while touching the metal hand rail in both pools on the properties. When it happened to me, my girls then reported that they had been feeling the “tingling and stinging” too.I called that night and left a voicemail message for the mgmt company, expressing extreme concern, but never heard back by phone.We texted again the next day, and they said a pool technician would be sent. He did not arrive the next day, despite texts telling us he would. We had to follow up again when our property manager didn’t respond. He did not arrive the next night, despite texts telling us he would. He finally arrived at 10am Saturday morning, an hour before our checkout time and said he did detect stray voltage coming from the ladder.This could potentially be a deadly oversight, and the management company just asked “if the problem was still happening.” My arm was tingling and numb until the next night. I had to explain that I was not about to grab the metal pole and test it again to verify.As a result, we were unable to use the pool again before we left. I debated whether to get checked out by a doctor. I do not know if the problem on the properties will be addressed. I rent vacation houses frequently, all over the country, and have never had an experience like this. Renters, please be aware.I am updating my review based on the response of the owner of the company below:- If a company prioritized the care and safety of their guests, I would have at the very least expected a return phone call from the property manager after I left a message explaining I had received an electric shock in the pool on their property that left my arm numb. Instead, my call was not returned. Our text messages were not returned, and we had to follow up. At no point has anyone from this business showed concern for the fact that I or my young daughters were shocked as a result of faulty wiring with their pool. This could have been a life-threatening event if a larger electrical surge happened, and my family was indeed in danger. My arm was numb for 12 hours.-When the pool tech arrived, he measured and *found* stray voltage around the handrail at the pool. As he couldn’t determine where the stray voltage was coming from, he recommended that the owners potentially replace the metal pool ladder with a non-conductive material. The very fact that there was stray voltage puts any guest in danger. I would hope at the very least that these handrails would be replaced. But my review is reflective of not only the fact that the incident occurred, but the deplorable manner in which this company has handled it since. I wish I had read other reviews stating similar concerns prior to booking.

I wish I could give zero stars. This rental company is extremely slimy and only care about money. We booked a house on VRBO through this company for my bridesmaids and I before my wedding, over a year in advance. The company called us a couple weeks after booking and told us they had to cancel our reservation because they were doing “pool work” that they coincidentally scheduled a year in advance on the only week in May or April 2022 that was booked at that point, our week! They claimed they would help us find another property. They only sent us properties that didn’t sleep enough for the guests we needed and were much more expensive than the property we booked in the first place. The original property is now available on VRBO for our dates again but for DOUBLE the price we booked it for. Pool maintenance, yeah right they just wanted more money!! It might seem like these properties are nice, and they provide good services but this is unacceptable and disgusting business practice. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

Perfect property for a family get away! House is beautifully appointed and clean. The pool was just right for our needs with a 3 year old in tow. There is an ankle deep area which my grandson enjoyed so much. The house is a short walk to beach.and short golf cart ride to town. The property is quiet and private. I am now a big star in my fam cuz I booked it! Ha! Luxury Simplifed is wonderful to work with. This is my 3rd year engaging with them and they do simplify taking a trip! We rented a property of theirs for the holidays and from the start, there were many problems. For example, the ice maker didn’t work, the electrical outlets didn’t work, there were not pots and pans and worst of all, the back door wouldn’t close and lock to keep us safe at night. We had small kids in the home.We reported the issues, but the most they did was bring a stick to the house to try and keep the door shut - which didn’t work.Since opening the discussion with the management team, they’ve only blamed US, for the many issues. They also -conveniently - waited to respond to us until the liability clauses with Airbnb and other deadlines passed so that our ability to pursue recourse like reimbursement and such would be less possible.Very shady group. Do not recommend. So many other wonderful hosts out there who are not just trying to grab your cash and run.

We had a great stay at The Oasis. The house was ideal for our two families and we enjoyed the close proximity to both the beach and downtown Folly Beach area. The staff at Luxury Simplified was so easy to work with and responded quickly to a few minor maintenance issues during our stay. As many rentals require housekeeping tasks upon departure, I very much appreciated their directive to lock the door as you leave and well take care of the rest. Would highly recommend The Oasis and hope to return!

First class experience from the website, booking process, prep emails, check in, amenities. Property was even better than described, incredibly clean and safe. I took my family to The View for the most relaxing week ever. If possible, The View is even better than the pictures! Everyone at Luxury Simplified are so wonderful to work with. We booked a place over the Xmas holidays hoping for some rest and escape from COVID, instead, we got a house full of headaches. After bringing the issues to the attention of this management company, they actually blamed us for causing them! Shower overflowing, a back door that wouldnt lock that led to a pool, with small children in the house. Their solution was a stick to put in the track that didnt even fit the door. A liability nightmare...we tried to be understanding, but then they waited to respond once the Airbnb liability deadline passed to prevent us from taking our concerns to the company. Renter beware! There are plenty of reputable management companies who take care of their guests out there. Avoid this one at all costs!

Our stay at the Vista this weekend was wonderful. It is a beautiful rental with all the amenities. The beds were comfortable and we all had our own space to retreat to after a fun day in downtown Folly. Restaurants are all within walking distance, Bert’s Market is just around the corner, the pier is a short walk and the beach is just outside the back door. This rental does have lots of steps - the bedrooms are on the upper levels. We had a blast and definitely hope this rental is available next time we return to Folly Beach. Luxury Simplified Retreats was so easy to work with and we enjoyed having Isabel as our property contact. She was easy to contact and helpful with information about the property the day we arrived.

Luxury Simplified made our stay at Folly Beach very nice - towels, sheets etc. were pre-placed making it a step above many beach rentals. The home itself was exceptional - an en suite bathroom for each bedroom made the stay very comfortable for our extended family. A couple of small items need attention - the outdoor shower and foot showers were difficult to operate with excessive rust, some of the decking boards around the shower were rotting, and I love a good hot outdoor shower after the beach, but its only tap water. Many of the beach houses I have stayed in have hot and cold running water. For the price of the rental, I would expect all the small things to be resolved.

17 Anson Street was an absolutely dream for our first-ever family vacation with our new baby! We could not have been happier as we were welcomed with a clean, family-friendly home with bedrooms that felt like entering a beautiful hotel room. Walking distance (minutes) to literally every single restaurant, landmark and source of entertainment, we were beyond thrilled! If you want to see and feel like you are authentically living the Charleston life, this is the place for you. The grocery store two blocks away is a dream, parks all within 10 minutes walking, and the infamous market on the same street, there is nothing to complain about. We hosted BBQ’s in the back yard and spent plenty of time outside as we were able to leave the French doors open and have an indoor/outdoor feel every night under the string lights and stars. Rocking the baby to sleep and reading on the porches was an added bonus. We can’t wait to get back!

We stayed at The Retreats on Hudson the week after July 4th. The accommodations were very comfortable and made for a relaxing getaway. The staff at Luxury Simplified Retreats are a joy to work with. They quickly answered all questions we had and have done so every time we have stayed at one of their properties. We will definitely use their service again in the future!

Elegant Escape is a wonderful home in a great location. Access to the beach is across the street, and it’s a one mile walk on the beach to the pier and downtown Folly’s restaurants. The locals are extremely welcoming, including to our dog, Reggie, who enjoyed being on the deck at several restaurants. The home is well equipped, clean, and comfortable, with each bedroom having its own bath. Isabel and others at Luxury Simplified handled my many questions in advance of our arrival promptly and thoroughly. We look forward to going back!

Love this apartment. It was in the perfect location and had a bonus parking space. Because it is on King Street, it was a little noisy and bright at night. Not a problem for us. I had an eye mask and a sound machine. The beds were very comfortable and the room sizes were perfect. We all slept really well! Such a bonus to have a kitchen. We were able to make coffee in the a.m. and heat up leftovers when needed. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Charleston.

Studio 36 is cheery, bright, clean, and a welcome oasis in Charleston. Comfortably furnished, well-appointed kitchen, washer and dryer a handy perk. Lovely private patio out back, and parking a bonus. Excellent location, could walk everywhere. Our Concierge, Brogan, was extremely friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Why stay in a hotel room when you can enjoy a fabulous vacation home?

My family celebrated Thanksgiving 2019 and a 50th wedding anniversary at the Folly Peach. The house was perfect for extended families. We each had our own space and could come together in the great room or spacious kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Isabel was fantastic and super responsive to any questions or concerns. A couple of items had to be fixed upon our arrival but Roman came promptly and was also wonderful. Everyone in my family said they would stay at the Folly Peach again. Great house, great location, and wonderful people working at Luxury Simplified Retreats.

We were a group of 8 adults, 4 of whom were young adults in early 20s. Helena’s Hideaway was perfect for us in terms of space and amenities. Everything as described or better. We loved the short walk to beach and proximity to downtown Folly and Charleston for fun and dining. Luxury Simplified Retreats and Isabel were highly responsive to every need and we will gladly rent through them again.

Sebrina could not have been easier to deal with and did a great job helping us prepare for our trip. Once onsite, the property was flawless and as-advertised. Absolutely a perfect vacation with excellent customer care. We stayed at Luxury Simplifieds property the Vista @ Folly Beach. The pictures dont do it justice. Very comfortable stay with amazing accommodations. The best part was the location. We were literally on the beach, footsteps from sand, footsteps from pier and footsteps to shopping and dining. Sabrina was so hospitable along with her staff. All I can say is to not hesitate renting a luxury vacation from this company. Studio A is in the epicenter of tons of activity. The space is clean and comfortable, and well stocked. There’s a charming patio that’s private.Brogan was very responsive to all requests. He did a little shopping so that when we arrived we had snacks and we’re ready for coffee the following morning!

We really enjoyed this place. Everything was prefect from easy check in, great communication and clean place and LOCATION. The only thing that was a bit annoying noise from the street and blinds (need more privacy). But we would definitely come back !!

I have been staying at Ocean Front Villas for 15 year and this was the nicest condo Ive stayed in. The customer service was also a plus.

We had a pleasant stay at Luxury Simplified Retreats on Ashley Avenue in Charleston. The experience of having your own private room with a home atmosphere, versus staying at a commercial hotel, was inviting after spending the day in the area. It was very clean and comfortable with very pleasant and accommodating staff. The Retreats will definitely be our choice for our next visit and all Charleston visits in the future.

My family and I stayed at Cannons Place off of Cannon st and found our stay to be more than ideal for our week stay in Charleston. The house itself was exceptionally clean and had a rustic charm to it that completed the Charleston experience. I want to commend Brittany and Luke who were quick to answer any questions I had before we arrived regarding places to eat and attractions to see. They had our refrigerator stocked with items we had requested so that we could arrive and be ready to enjoy our vacation without the grocery store hassle. Definitely worth the five stars and I will recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the Charleston area.

We made a reservation on January 3, 2019. On Jan 27, 2019, I got an email that stated that our rental was cancelled due to the house was listed at the wrong rate. I was paying $1239.50 for 3 days. I do not think that was any small change. That was over 3 weeks later! I could have accepted that response if I had gotten the email or call the next day. I would have just gone to the other 2 houses that I liked and that were available in the area for that same price. Unfortunately, both of those rentals are no longer available. He would not honor the price that was advertised and the booking that was held for over 3 weeks. Now the house is listed for twice that amount. So renters BEWARE when working with this individual/company, you may not have a reservation after all...

Communication was excellent and House was as advertised.

They deal with the higher end of the VRBO market downtown and mainly Folly but some other places also. Their service reflects the values and needs of those typical customers. Looked after us well from beginning to final departure, home was pre-stocked with goodies, they even stocked the refrigerator on request, plenty of good towels also.

Very hard to rent from this place. I guess you have to be melanin free to be taken seriously. Thats the South for you.

I cannot not enough good things about the LSR team! We stayed with them at the Folly Peach in June 2018. It was a high school graduation trip and we had family coming from all over the US (west coast, up north etc.). I dont think one person had a bad time, the house was amazing and if I ever had a random question the LSR team was super accommodating. Thankful for LSR, will book with them again and again!
