Nicely stocked store but not as nice of employees as Summerville location.

Short on supplies at the moment but the staff goes the extra mile to help and provide fantastic customer service.

I really like this Party City in West Ashley as it has a good selection of items for fun and partying year round. There is an assortment of seasonal products and other things to get the party started and keep the party going. The balloon department and candy selection here really stand out. I have always been impressed with the level of service and attention of the staff here as they are quick to help and move fast to get requests fulfilled. I always have been satisfied with my purchases here and know where to go if I need to plan a party or get those essential items that I am tasked with for a party that night. This Party City has it all here in one store and rarely do I have to go anywhere else after coming here.

Pretty much one stop shopping! Alot of party goods were on sale in store that were not online. I was super happy with my shopping experience and I will be returning soon!

I ordered a few things for my son’s birthday and went to pick it up this morning. I didn’t realized it wasn’t open until 9:30. I called the number on the door and asked if I could possibly pick it up now instead of waiting another 45 min. He brought my bag out immediately. Now I can get on with all my say getting ready for his 5th birthday tomorrow. Thank you so much!! What great customer service!!!

Excellent variety of items for any celebration! They have VALENTINE GIFTS here, including boxes of chocolates, balloons, stuffies, and candies.

This is a great store to do quick or browse-type stops. There are whole sets of themed-distinct party items in all price ranges. All foil balloons purchased from Party City are FREE to fill with helium in store.

I always go to this particular party city for balloons. I dont usually call ahead to have the done before I get there but the staff are always able to work in my dozens of balloons among their preorders and are always quick.

I bought costume from there and they said they can’t let him try it on and can’t take it back if it doesn’t fit my son. No problem, it fit. Problem was the costume was completely see through! There was no way he could wear it in public! They still refused a refund or store credit. All happened within 30 minutes of purchase. Absolutely terrible customer service and will never spend another dimethere.

As usual good, I found what I was looking for.

The girl who was working the floor greeted me and asked me if I needed help looking for something.I was looking for a halloween costume which werent out yet but she informed me that some had come in. She offered to look for the item in the back. It seems simple and her just doing her job, but I appreciated her kindness. The cashier up front was also very nice and smiling, and patient with the customers ahead of me.

I went there looking for a Moana balloon for my granddaughters 3 year old birthday and after I checked the web site for the West Ashley location and it said they had it an associate at the store said they did not. Taking her word I picked out a different one. While I waited for them to fill that one, I looked at a display on the front of the counter by the register and there was the one I wanted and they had 5 of them. I showed it to the associate and she had nothing to say.

Being happy with Party City is directly dependent on when you visit and the personality of the personnel on duty at the time. Halloween week: beserk. The week after, quiet.

Its a party store. Has many party supplies. Lackluster staff but usually dont need their help. Otherwise festive and I can always find what I need.

Signage for seasonal items need to be clearer. I was purchasing tights for halloween. As I was checking out I asked the cashier about the sticker on the packages, it says item not returnable if seal is broken. I was confirming that I could return unopened item with receipt when my transaction went through. Upon hearing that in fact I could NOT return the item, I promptly asked for the transaction to be voided. I was directed to the manager who flat out refused and pushed my receipt into my hands. She told me to call 1800partcity and voice my concern there (I did try calling and got an answering service and was told to call back during the weekday). I realize that holidays are busy at this store. However, there should still be a level of customer service. If you cant be polite and have patience maybe working with the public isnt for you. I will not be returning to the store.

I love the prices and the selection of unique items! ESP favors! The staff is always SUPER helpful and they always ask if they can help me find anything or answer any questions! Always a great experience!

Dannie was absolutely wonderful. She helped us find very specific things throughout the store for a 21st birthday party and she knew the store very well. I was having problems with my coupons at check out but she helped me with that as well. Shes super nice and upbeat, which is very refreshing! She had us laughing and even suggested some things for our Cinco De Mayo themed party that ended up being great add ons. Thanks, Dannie!

Went in looking for birthday party items. I did find a pinãta I needed but the birthday selection was minimal, not a lot of variety (everything was a combination of rainbow, black and gold, or pink and black). Workers were friendly, but very slow to do anything (both in the aisles and up at the cash register). Seems like additional training would be beneficial, and a manager on site if there wasnt one already.

Stood at counter as young employees talked about incident that happened outside. Then then went outside while I stood at the counter. But bright side, a young lady came in, she hadnt even clocked in, she quickly came over, took care of order, and she was awesome.

Great experience. It was my last stop, and should have been my first. They had everything I needed. A little on the expensive side, though. The lady helping me was friendly and helpful. She even offered to let me use the coupon from the newspaper that I didnt even know existed.

Wasnt greet or asked if I needed assistance but noticed other customers who entered after me were. The cashiers were having personal conversations (regarding obstetrics/gynecology appt) while ringing up myself and another customer just unprofessional.

The store is what it is. Its nothing special, but it has a nice variety of stuff if youre looking to throw a party and need supplies. We normally go once or twice a year, normally for Halloween. We also bought some plastic flatware for a friends beach wedding and they were happy with what we picked out.

Unfortunately I went into the store with a few simple party needs - balloons, streamers, etc.After searching through three completely empty isles, I found my way to an extremely picked over selection.I finally settled on some items, and while the employee was blowing up my balloon I had just purchased, she popped it.That was this last balloon of that style, and when I asked for a refund of my balloons, I was told that once I bought it, she couldn’t refund me. Even though, it was the employee’s fault.When I pushed back, the employee told me it was “like birthday cake, once you buy it, it’s yours.” To which I retorted, not if the baker dropped my cake on the ground.Needless to say, I ended up leaving the store with a popped balloon, and other useless “letter” balloons that now did not spell a word.Very disappointed with my service and with the acting manager’s response to my frustration.I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I went in on Aug. 2 to buy casino night theme decorations. There werent any because they were put in storage to make room for Halloween stuff. It was Aug. 2nd yall!

I went to try and return these thigh highs because I didnt realize that my costume came with some and I tried to go in today and the lady was rude and told me no refunds for Halloween stuff, even though I never messed with the package of thigh highs. I am never coming back here again. I think its ridiculous that I cant return something I never opened or used.
