Took a basket of laundry up here to use their drop off service since I have to go to work and they said that they cant do any laundry today and they dont even know that they can get to it tomorrow so it would be Saturday at the earliest before I could get my laundry back. not a great first impression for a first-time customer. if youre unable to provide the services that you list, perhaps dont list those services on the internet! when I called up here to ask about pricing for drop off service they could have mentioned on the phone that they couldnt get to it today or tomorrow.

There is only so much praise you can give about a bag of clean and neatly folded clothes, but what really stands out here is the amazing staff. They are always so kind, generous, and helpful, and they make an effort to make a personal connection with every single customer. Every time I walk in the door I am greeted by name and asked about my day. LOVE this place!!!

I dropped off 16 pounds of laundry today and for $20 everything was clean, smelling fresh and neatly folded within a few hours. Great service!

Cleanest laundromat in Charleston! They are also ran by a non-profit and if you use their drop-off service it helps employ Eastside residents which is really cool! Everyone is so nice and they have a lot going on always for the community. I highly recommend checking it out!!!!

Staying at MUSC with my husband whos ill, I discovered this place through Google Maps and liked the reviews. And yes, this place is everything folks said it was. Its clean, has an assortment of washing machine sizes, a convenience store next door for detergent or snacks. To be honest, coming from out of town, I saw the neighborhood and was a bit wary; it seemed kind of sketchy to me. But the condition of the laundry mat and the friendliness of the locals set my mind at ease right away. Its a nice place that I will definitely use again until my husband gets well enough to go home.

In less than two years Laundry Matters has been transformed into a gem for Charleston Eastside residents. In addition to laundry services, it is a home for neighborhood bible study and computer classes. What a wonderful accomplishment by Loving America Street, the nonprofit responsible for this remarkable place!

A wonderful outreach staple for the Eastside Community of Downtown Charleston, SC. They even have a drop-off service available for same-day or next-day pickup...along with special Free Wash days and a Blessing Box thats usually filled with donations for locals to take as they please!!!

Not expensive but bums go here. Drinking and drugging outside and inside.
