We prepay for services and have to call multiple times to beg this company to pick up our garbage. We prepay for extra bags that piled up because they were late picking up trash, yet it still sits at the curb. Don’t waste your time or money with this place. Absolutely nothing advanced about this poorly run operation. Labor shortages will be the excuse from them, no doubt. Every other business has to figure out a solution to the labor shortage too.

Absolutely AWFUL service. They haven’t picked up our trash in OVER SIX WEEKS. my husband and I have been calling them over and over and every time they say someone will be out today and no one shows. We’ve been trying to get through to a manager for two days now with no success. I can’t believe they treat they’re customers like this and they’re still in business. We are about to contact a lawyer because this is getting ridiculous.

Had service for two months and only picked our trash up once. We aren’t even sure if it was them since our neighbors trash was picked up the same day and they use a different service. We have called several times and they stated they would come pick up that day, still have not. We called and canceled service, they stated they would come pick up the cans last Friday. The cans are currently still at the end of our drive way…. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Where to begin? We have been customers for over 10 years. The last three months the service has plummeted. Almost every other week they have forgot to pick up our trash. We have called half a dozen times. We cant get a good explanation as to why they keep failing to pick up. We are promised it wont happen again and then it does. I have tried to speak to someone in management and no response. We contacted them today and canceled our service. I was paid up through 12-31. I havent been billed yet for the current cycle. They said we owed $6. I am not paying for a week of service that has yet to be provided. They literally drive past my house twice every pickup day without picking up. I would not recommend this company to anyone and that is a sad thing because we had almost 10 years of good service.

They continue to be late picking trash up. We have literally called all week. They keep giving us the run around we will be there today. For a solid week this has been their response. So when we called today we were told we cant come all the way out there we have no trucks in the area u are gonna have to wait till your schedualed pick up day monday. They only pick trash up once every two weeks so they literally want me to wait a month. Then they tell me we will give u a 10 dollar discount. They promised someone in management would call in 24 hours what do you wanna bet we never get a call we are canceling.

I was out for a run on this very hot day today in our neighborhood and it happens to be the day they come to pick up our trash. The waste disposal worker driving the truck pulled up beside me seeing that I was very hot and offered me a cold bottle of water. I am impressed and it was definitely appreciated! Great worker you guys have!

Ive had their service for 5 months and theyve forgotten to pickup our trash at least once a month and this past week they called and said that they didnt have sufficient staff to pickup our garbage this week and will try (!!!) to pick it up next week.

Save yourself some time and DO NOT pay for this trash service. You will be met with nothing but attitude if you have an issue and you probably won’t even receive your trash can as I didn’t. When I called to ask why I was met with completely unprofessional answers and rude tones. And after having to call a second time I was informed that the original women I talked too lied about what I asked for on my refund sheet. This place is an absolute joke.

BEWARE!! WORST COMPANY!!! I have had the service for 6 weeks. I have had to call 2 times and I was lied to both times. They have picked up my trash 2 times in 6 weeks! I have two advanced garbage cans outside of my house. Since they dropped off two we have been using them both and they only dump one. We don’t get our trash picked up every Monday like it said in our details. Will be finding another trash provider.

I’m not one to complain, especially in an online forum... but I feel like there is no further action I can take to resolve issues with this business.We called to schedule container service with Advanced Disposal at the beginning of October. We live in Rural Tuscola, and were initially told our collection would take place every Tuesday. (Which I believed, because we are only a few minutes outside of town and in-town Tuscola is serviced every Tues.) They took money out of my account immediately for 3 months of service, set-up fees, and for the container rental. However, it took almost a month just to receive our trash can. I called their business numerous times within that month and each time they put in “service calls” for someone to bring our container... in the meantime, their suggested solution was “just set the garbage bags in our driveway.” We live in the country... due to wind and animals -that is not a possibility. Plus, who wants garbage just stacked in their yard for a month?Finally upon threatening to cancel our service and requesting our money be refunded -a container made it. (A month after setting up service.) The following Tuesday our trash was not picked up. I called again and was told after signing up that it would be collected every other Tuesday... I requested a pick-up schedule be emailed to me. I received the schedule... and to our dismay the trash was not picked up on the next scheduled date either. In total, that is 2 months of service (paid for in advance) where they did not pick up our trash.Not sure what the difficulty is with making it to our address on the scheduled dates... but what is more concerning is the lack of care from their customer service department. They don’t apologize, every representative I’ve spoken with has been short on the phone, and their solution is just to credit our account for the next month. Which is a fine gesture, but I have no confidence they will pick it up in upcoming months either. Whenever we find another company that will service our home, we will be canceling service as soon as possible.

I never give 1 star ratings but they missed an entire 2 months of my first pickups and since i dont produce much trash (live by myself) i didnt realize they had missed the pickups. i was denied credits for those missed pickups and ended up paying about $120 for 2 or 3 pickups, they were not courteous and because the drive had said he had been there they believed him over me. never been so frustrated in my life

I have been a customer of Advanced Disposal since they bought out the previous company. They are there to service their customers. I have had occasion to call due to a missed pick-up and they were exceptionally courteous and helpful in getting the matter resolved.As well as good service they are also reasonably priced. They directly withdrawing my fees from my bank account for their service which is another plus for this company.Thanks!

I did call them on several occasions although they say I didn’t and now they’re trying to charge me $76 more and don’t understand why I am upset or trying to get my money back. If i could give this company a zero I would have! This is the most unorganized company Ive ever dealt with and the customer service is awful! We had recycling through them because our town quite offering it and every time we got a bill it was for a different amount, it never got picked up according to the schedule they gave us so we decided to cancel it. I spoke to 5 different people all of who were incredibly rude and was told something different each time. Long story short its been 2 weeks since I canceled and our container is still sitting here. DO NOT use this company they are rude, poorly ran and have absolutely no clue what they are talking about!

Picks up on time, extremely overpriced. They were picking up at a commercial site...$97 a month, found a new service to pick up for $23 a month. Called Advance to cancel, had to talk to 3 people who all tried to convince us to stay with them and offered us the service for $23 a month...told them to cancel..gen they send me a letter stating they need it in writing from us and sent certified mail to get our service cancelled. What a joke!! Cheaper options in our area are just as good...if not better.

Just informed that they will be cutting our service to every other week pickup, however our bill will be the same (which is twice as much as those in town pay for their trash service). Called their customer service was told that I was SOL and that they will not provide us with a second container. Cant wait until all the critters start going through the trash, or for the August heat. Called around and found out they are the only company that will service us. How are they not regulated?

I cannot recommend advanced disposal. I have had them for three years and the first two years were fine. In the last year I have had several stretches of my trash not being picked up, week after week. Every time it happens I have to call every day for two or three days to get someone to come and get it. Its ridiculous to have to babysit a company. I have tried working with them and have been too patient. Im taking my business elsewhere.

Im only giving them a one because it makes me. This company is a joke. I called on three different occasions trying to set up garbage service in a two week span of time. First, I received no call back. The second time, no call back. The third time, I got some guy who hung up on me. Then, four weeks from my initial call for service, I get a voicemail from the idiots saying that I had left inquiring about service....ya dont say? Dont waste your time. Youd have better luck eating your trash than you would starting service with these idiots.

Weve had AD for 6 mos. The first 2; no problems. The 3rd month, an employee got extremely rude, and refused to pick up a light trash bag, that a storm blew out of the tote/trash receptacle.The past 4 weeks, our waste has only been picked up twice.I understand there are several routes, and things happen, but, shouldnt this much

Terrible, Terrible company. Moved 6 blocks and bill went up $30. Now paying $83/ every 3 months. Called (on hold forever then reached someone in Milwaukee, WI) and they said maybe we werent being charged enough at our last address so they are going to do an audit to see if we owe them more $. Called around and found service for $60/every 3mo. Cancelling Advanced/Veolia and going with the other LOCAL company. I wish I could give zero stars

Do not sign up for auto pay. They will take the three-month payment out of your account EVERY MONTH and trying to get it sorted out by phone is a nightmare. It’s ridiculous that they offer autopay when autopay only works on a monthly basis. It’s a sneaky way to make A LOT of extra money off people who just need to get their trash taken away.

This has to be the worst ran business I have ever came in contact with. I was being charged around 45 dollars every 3 months for their services when the bill was in my girlfriends name. We switched and put the bill in my name. It was at this time I was informed there was a mistake on their end from our previous bill, so now our bill was going to be over 70 dollars for the same time period using their container. I moved, and switched addresses, during that time I was informed my bill was going to go up another 7 dollars for a can rental fee (even though I had already been using their can.) I was informed ONCE AGAIN, that a mistake had been made on my last set of bills and they hadnt been charging me for the can, but now they have to..... NOT GOING TO WORK. YOUR MISTAKES shouldnt cost your customers money over and over, and whoever you have on the phone explaining said mistakes EVERY SINGLE TIME I call, needs a new line of work. If I could give you negative stars I would.

They have not picked up my trash six out of the past 8 weeks. Called to see if they would come get the trash since it is 100% their fault. They refused and said they would get it next week. Given they have a 90% failure rate on picking up the trash as promised, I know that probably wont happen.

We been with them since 2013 They dont pick trash when say they will sometimes only pick up 1 trash can and then drive off .And they charge way to much for device and extra pickups service has got real bad the last 3 months they just druve by or dint pick up at all I have let them know each day they have not picked up yet and still no one. They should not charge if they dont pick upand not send out a bill and say you owe for service I not paying for no service

The trash men broke my large can that I had for years from the company they bought out. They refused to replace it unless I pay $2.50 a month for the rest of my life.Today I have my trash out front, not in a tote, a plastic bag and they have not picked it up yet....wonder as they drive down the street they are looking for the tote.

William Arnold i wont advise anybody in charleston il to get these people. i set up an account with them in january 28 to get service cost me 111 dollars for four month service. i told them i already had two cans here but only needed one. they told me to mark the one i didnt want and sunday night put them out to the road side so i did. monday came by no pickup then tuesday still no pick , called them to pick them up and empty, thursday the finally came and took one can and i put the other up at the house . two days later i came home and that can was gone . so i had to call them to get my can back that took awhile to . then the rest of february i kept calling for them to pick up my garbage but no show. i had enough so i cancelled service with them. here it is after many ,many ,many calls still have a can with rotting trash in it and picking it up off the grounds when the wind blows it over. i cant get them to pick their can and empty it at all. just called today and promised they would get it today but as usual no show. i am so fed up of this, one day service that was late then no service even to pick up their own can. i am piss off . william arnold 851 n county road 600 e arcola il 61910

They said two weeks ago when I started my service that I would be able to leave my trash with out at end of the drive until bin comes the 17th it is now the 20th and not only has my trash been sitting there since the 16th but they just today left the bin I have called everyday this week they dropped my bin next to my trash and left the trash there...I called and they told me i gave tgem ab invalid card number which I had repeat to them twice and had them read back to me. So I check my bank statement and they had indeed of course made the withdrawal from my account for $60+- So i call back and i think they are not going to give me my money back... If they can treat their disabled customers like this I would NEVER RECOMEND THIS place they sound nice on the phone but they will take ur cash and leave ya trash...

Wanted to stop service they asked if we could do an at call pick up and agreed. Then got a huge bill for no pick ups and then thye come and start picking up without being asked to to do so. Not satisfied with service at all. Bad part about it weve been costumers with them for years.
