Let me take a moment to tell you guys how awesome The Computer Guyz are, especially Justin. I am a 17 year old, who had an issue after a Windows Update which had been slowing down my computer across the board. Being 17, Ive always used Google and Youtube to troubleshoot any potential issues on my device. After using every possible source I knew, my ego stepped aside to allow for some professional help. I called, and after a basic analysis of my issue, I scheduled an appointment, came in, and immediately Justin began a diagnostic test. He identified a GPU malfunction, fixed the error code, and had me out of their in under 45 minutes. However, when I asked Justin what my service fee was, he gave me an incredibly reasonable price for such a high quality service. Recommend to anyone and everyone with a computer!

A couple of years ago, I sent one of my macs from my old office here for an upgrade to the hard disk. They did such a good job that I had them work on another office computer of mine recently, even though my office is now hundreds of miles away. Highly recommended.

I had a custom computer that I was working on for about a month and I couldn’t get to work properly they came and picked it up and were constantly in communication with me about what he was needed to be done and what they were doing throughout the process.

Just a FYI, we left a hard drive with them in March of 2020. The hard drive had malfunctioned, we had hoped they could recover the contents. After several attempts calling them they told us they could not find the hard drive. The last time we talked to them all they had to say was they were sorry. Just beware, we had a lot of business information on that drive and it is now costing us a lot of money to recoup that information, AND THEY DID NOTHING. BEWARE!

What a wonderful place to get a pc repaired. Flexible repair options and decent prices. Got my iMac back next day with a solid state upgrade. Its never been faster.

Unfortunately I have to leave a one star review. I have called three different times about a wire installation in my house and talked to three different people over the past two months. I understand that their busy and things can get hectic but I was really disappointed when I was referred to them. I have gotten another company to install the wiring but I am really disappointed. Perhaps I’ll try again in the future with them and see if anything has changed.

Jud was very helpful!! dropped my computer last night on its side and basically the whole hard drive went out. Took it in and told me the price point and what he could save and all and was very helpful! Definitely a great company to go to when your having computer trouble in the low country!!

These guys are awesome! I absolutely love this company! We own a small business and started using Jud when we were much smaller - with only a couple of staff members and worked out of our home. We have now grown to a larger company with more sophisticated needs and they have been with us every step of the way servicing everything we need! The whole staff is great. I can call them anytime for advice when I’m stuck on something and they troubleshoot with me over the phone, and whenever we have a need for help they come to the rescue very quickly. Replaced a crashed hard drive and worked hard to recover my data. They were helpful and professional. I received periodic calls to update me on the status during the couple of days they had my computer. It now runs like its brand new- actually better than it was brand new.

Last December I took my computer to Computer Guyz. It was so slow. They installed a new hard drive and removed some other programs. They are the most polite, helpful and professional group. I have been to other computer repair companies, but never got the good service that I did with Computer Guyz. I also took my computer by on July 24, 2018. I received the same good service. Fantastic service. I have been having freeze ups on my computer for about a week, and they were able to do a hard drive swap for a faster solid state unit very quickly. They even offered to diagnose some internet speed issues I was having at home. Ill definitely hire them again the next time I need service done on any of my Apple products, and recommend them to my colleagues.

My puppy chewed my computer charging cord which nobody in Charleston had in stock - even the universal which supposedly fit my computer didnt. I called Computer Guyz and they had one. The Computer Guyz do great work! I brought in my laptop and it was beyond repair. They were able to recover all my data and move it to a spare laptop I had. The second laptop did not have a battery, and they found an old battery and threw it in at no charge. These guys are reliable and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend them!

Jud and Tom were nothing short of fantastic!!! I waltzed into their office early this morning with a completely inoperable computer and they had it back to me by noon. They did several upgrades, spent an hour teaching me computer stuff and then handed me a very inexpensive bill. Highly recommended.

Wouldnt trust this place to fix my kids LeapPad let alone a computer. Was told 24 hours. After 50+ I had to call them! Then they didnt even know what they had done to the computer. Told me I took them a computer with an i7 in it and I didnt. I took them a WORKING computer with and i5 processor in it and an i7 processor in the box. After 2 1/2 days of no communication I picked up a NON-WORKING computer with an i5 processor in the i7 box and a I dont know what processor in the computer. Blank stares is all I got from Devon who was supposed to be the one working on the computer. Couldnt even tell me what processor was in the computer I picked up! Stay away, far, far away.

Let me just say I have been meaning to post this review for about a month just been real busy. This company was awesome . I had a power outage at my house during the storm. I thought I had lost my computer from a power surge and at lest had to replace the mother broad. The gentleman who came to my home was outstanding and very knowledgeable. He discover the problem and fixed it on the spot . I was happy to paid him as the price for there service was very fair. I found these guys to be honest and trustworthy. A good friend of mine enthusiastically referred me to The Computer Guyz. She was very happy with the service she received. I called to see if they could give life to my 2007 MacBook. My encounter with everyone I encountered at The Computer Guyz was positive but I must say that Tom is THE MAN! My MAC is BACK! Resurrecting my 10 year-old MacBook was a lot less expensive than buying a new one. It is functioning as well as I remember it did when I first got it. I recommend The Computer Guys with no reservations.

Our iMac housing all our important information died! I immediately called Computer Guyz, having been rescued by them on other occasions. Tom recovered the data and rebuilt the machine so that it is like a newly purchased iMac. Importantly, Tom was so gracious and friendly and explained in detail what he had done in language I could understand. I wont consider going anywhere else for tech assistance. Thank you, Tom!

I had a wonky HDMI port on my laptop, so I called the number on the site. The dude who picked up was SUPER nice, helpful, and just all-around awesome. He (patiently... lol) helped me explain my issue to him and then told me that I didnt actually need to get anything fixed, I just needed to buy some cheap adapter thingey off Amazon. I never ended up actually going in to the store, but i am INCREDIBLY grateful for the dudes (Im really bad w names... sorry) honesty and integrity and I will DEFINITELY be back when I break something else next week. This is a good company I highly recommend them. Jud is the owner and I found his knowledge as a trouble shooter to be excellent. In addition he was willing to TAKE TIME to explain the subject matter until I had a full understanding of the problem. Ive used THE COMPUTER GUYZ for three years now and I have no need to look elsewhere.

These guys are great! I called all around town looking for a charger for my laptop. Not only did Tom have a charger for me, but when I went in to pick it up, he also spent 45 minutes of his day helping me figure out how to log into my Xfinity wifi account, telling me about Google Photos, and explaining how I could soup up my laptop to make it a more efficient machine. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended. When I am ready to take my laptop for its makeover, I will head to the Computer Guyz.

The Computer Guyz have always been responsive to fixing my computer problems quickly and at a reasonable rate. One time, when a hard drive on my office computer crashed, they spent the evening helping me select a computer, install my software on the new computer, and transferring my data from the cloud to my new computer. Thus my office was up and running the next day.I am very computer reliant so when my computers don’t work, I don’t make money. The Computer Guyz are great at insuring my computers work.

Definitely would not recommend. Had to call them 3 times to get the same issued fixed. The first 2 fixes failed. The 3rd time I called, my call was not returned.

Cant say how pleased we were with the service we received and the products recommended and purchased. Computer Guyz helped us with internet issues and hooking up an existing Sonos system in our home. Friendly, trustworthy, and efficient. They even did an amazing job corralling and organizing a mess of cables and wires. Wow!

We have used the Computer Guyz for several projects now and they are very quick to answer the phone and usually can get out to our location the same or next day. They are efficient and knowledgeable of both PCs and MACs and printers and are generally pleasant to work with. I would recommend.

I love the Comuter Guyz! They could not have been more helpful for someone who is not at all tech savvy. I needed to replace all the computers in my store, reconfigure the server and client computers and reload our software. They helped me figure out the most cost effective machines to buy for the system we run, installed everything and were super helpful troubleshooting any issues we ran into afterwards. They went above and beyond in the install, and did not try to sell us anything we didnt really need. I truly appreciate the great work!

I found The Computer Guys via Home Advisor and requested them to conduct an on site home assessment for some network cabling runs on a Friday. A representative showed up and surveyed my house and stated he would provide a quote the following Monday. The representative didnt appear to want to do the job and after spending a good bit of time in our home he has yet to provide a quote. I texted the representative and no response. They wasted our time, entered our house and never followed through with providing a quote. Dont waste your time because most likely they will waste yours. Some advice to the computer guys: 1.) follow through on your word. 2.) If you dont want to do the job then please inform the potential client.

My laptop stopped working and they were quick to diagnose (bad motherboard) and call me with the results. My issue is that when I dropped off the laptop there was NO mention upfront of the diagnostic fee. $35 isnt unreasonable, but there should be a notification of fees prior to service.

The Computer Guyz showed up w/in 24 hours of our call. In one day they fixed all our problems. Not only did they fix our problems they took the time to explain things to us and they did it in a kind and courteous way. We will call them for all our IT needs!

Fast, efficient and reasonably priced. I called, they were at Pearle Vision in Mt. P within 2 hours and had our printer problem resolved, at less than quoted price.

He communicates clearly and speaks English. I dont have to know computer jargon to explain what I need. When he leaves, he has not only solved the problem, but he has also left all devices upgraded, and has taught me what I need to know in order to use the electronics. I find this company to be honest, quick to respond, and personable (no patronizing). Even my dog would vouch for the Computer Guyz.

The greatest! I was traveling in the Charleston, SC area and awoke to find my laptop dead! EEEk! I was clearly getting power as far as the power inverter thingie on the cord but nothing to the device. I looked for a BestBuy on my phone but nothing really nearby, and of course its a weekend. I found The Computer Guyz nearby me in Mt Pleasant and called. They answered the phone right away, were very pleasant, helpful and talked me through what to do WITHOUT being condescending, thank you. And FIXED! I cant thank them enough! BestBuy would have kept it for a week, charged an arm and a leg, and probably not fixed it! Thanks Computer Guyz!
