Norm was very helpful with my personal laptop. I had my inverter replaced twice by another company within a year, and when I was having the same symptoms I gave Delson Computers a try. Norm actually stopped by my work and looked at it. He quickly discovered that the problem was not with my inverter, but a power source problem. Until I can get a new power source, he helped me retrieve some data that I did not have backed up elsewhere. Im a teacher on James Island and my husband told me to take our iMac and Macbook Pro to the Apple store on King Street Store. Our Macbook Pro wouldnt start - our son had spilled chocolate milk on it. I’m a business owner in Charleston, SC. After having problems getting my computer to start up one morning I took it to a local computer store to see if they could diagnose and fix it. After they had it for 2 days they said the computer needed to be completely wiped and that they could not retrieve my QuickBooks files. It had been around 4 weeks since my last external back up so this was a huge problem. My husband found Delson Computers on-line and suggested I try them. Norm was able to see me that same day and within half an hour of arriving at his office he had all my files, most importantly my QuickBooks files, backed up on to an external hard drive. Needless to say I’m extremely happy with the Norm and his company. Not only did they save me from having to recreate weeks of data but once I had my new computer Norm transferred all my files to my new computer and had everything set up within a very short amount of time. I was in desperate need of some help with my desktop, which accidentally got knocked over and was no longer booting up. I found Norm Delson online and contacted him to see if he could help. He contacted me back immediately and I dropped my desktop tower off for him the following day. He was very professional and great to deal with. It turned out that the motherboard had been damaged due to the tower getting knocked over and Norm wisely suggested that it was just not worth putting the money in for a new motherboard for a 2 year old desktop and that it would be a better option to just replace it. He spent a lot of time trying to figure out the problem and only charged me the diagnostic fee, despite going way above and beyond to try to crack the issue.
