From the time I came to this establishment, Bryce was nothing, but SPECTACULAR. I have never had to deal with a flat tire and not been stressed out. The friendliness, professional and prompt attitude to my need alleviated it all. I want to thank the manager Brian for helping oversee his team. I would recommend this location to anyone.

My tires have been getting low and I kept having to pump them by myself at the air center at the gas stations, so I decided to take it to Geralds and Bryce let me know I had a leak in my tire which was a issue. Bryce and Matthew both worked on all 4 of my tires and fixed the issue + looked at my brakes and everything. I 100% recommended this store, they’re fast and keep you un-stressed! Bryan is a great manager at this Geralds and I will definitely come back if I have anymore tire issues.

I/my family are from Charleston and have used Geralds our whole lives for car troubles. I live in Myrtle Beach currently and drive to Charleston just to go to Geralds because I know the service will be great. I drove down today to have my tires checked because my low tire pressure light had been coming on frequently. They got my car taken back super quickly— I dont think I even waited there a full hour. One of the guys handed my my keys back and told me that I was good to go; I reminded him that I hadn’t paid yet, to which he replied telling me that he had fixed the leak in my tire free of charge this time. If you need ANY car fixes, GO TO GERALDS!! They are always amazing without fail, and being a young girl who knows 0 about cars, that absolutely goes a long way. Thank you guys!!!!

Oh God its never a time I pull up at this Gerald tires I am not given satisfactory service.

Should not be called Gerald’s Tires and BRAKES seeing as this location does not do brake inspections. This location is definitely not up to the same level of professionalism as the West Ashley location. When I arrived one of the young guys was smoking while working on a car right in front of the front door and it took 5 minutes before I was even greeted and told that they don’t do brakes, so I did not end up getting work done there, but I was very disappointed to have wasted my time coming to this location and also disappointed that this location does not live up to the Gerald’s name that is so respected.

Very busy Saturday morning. And hot! Still the crew worked as quickly as they could.

Well with tires your kind of limited so this review may be pointless. Not everywhere offers used tires which is what I was in the market for.Dropped the rim/tire off around 1:30 and was told it would be ready in an hour. Around 5 I called bc I hadnt heard anything and was told the tire was ready.When I arrived no one had a clue what I was talking about. Come to find out my tire was buried amongst others and had not even been touched yet.Would love to give a better review bc most of the employees were really nice, but there were maybe 3 people at the store ahead of me at the time. Lets be real putting a new tire on a rim takes minutes. Literally takes longer to air it up than to switch it out.

Specifically asked them to please replace my spare tire where it belongs, underneath my vehicle. The guy that took my order wrote it down, but apparently whoever did the service on my vehicle didnt read that part. I had surgery recently on my elbow and had a very hard time just changing the tire. They just put the tire in the back of my vehicle. NOT HAPPY AT ALL 😡😡😡😡😡

I got stuck in Charleston with a nail in my tire. I spoke with Junior on the phone and came in. Bryce took care of it. I will say th he niedest and most efficeny staff i hsve ever encountered.

Rough morning! Driving down Dorchester Rd and accidentally ran over something metal in the road...my tire was busted with my kiddos in the car. With my hazard lights on I drove 5 miles per hour to make it a mile and a half to Geralds (Near Burns) with horns honking... STRESSED!After making it there, we met Connor. He had great customer service. He was kind & patient with my children asking him a million questions. Thank you Gerald s & CONNOR for great, affordable service & simple kindness. Found a nail in my tire this morning. Went to the Gerald’s on Dorchester Rd because it was the closest to my current location. They were very busy, but thanked me for my patience when it was my turn. They were able to patch my tire and get me in my way about 40 minutes after my arrival (there were 5 cars in front of me). Great job to Corey and crew! You’ve earned repeat business!

Had a metal object puncture my tire and it went down quick. I was on Dorchester Rd and stopped in @ Geralds. I explained my situation and told them I was not a Geralds customer, that these tires came from Costco and I had a road hazzard policy. The hole was too big to plug, so they put my spare on. I tipped the worker as it was over 100 degrees this day out on the asphalt. I was expecting a $40-$50 bill, when the manager told me no charge, have a nice day. This exceeded all my expectations. I would have gladly paid their normal fee. I absolutely will refer family and friends to Geralds, as as their ad states no one is ever standing around @ Geralds These are honest hard working men. Give the a try, youll be glad you did.

They used to be great but lost how to deal with customers. I needed a tire tried to call the whole 40 minute drive still no answer. When I got there there was 1 vehicle there 3 guys standing around tire machine talking so I went inside so I should waiting to be helped and he turned his back on me.So I went outside and asked the 3 guys for home office number and they did not know it so I left.I looked up main number and called and told her the problem and she said she would have a manager cal l.no call I will never buy from them again. They are suppose to be a Christian run Co.I dont see it

The manager jon jon in training there was awful! Not only did he NOT know the rules for a warranty exchange on a tire, but he also was very rude! I have never experienced such horrible customer service at any Geralds tires, especially not this location. Sheldon has been there for 17 years or more and gives great customer service, so I do not know who this person was that they have as a manager in training, but he is definitely not Geralds tires material. I truly think this was a one off situation. However, I advise to not deal with him, because he does not know how to do his job it is very rude. Fyi...

Connor at the Dorchester location, was great! Super fast service! I have a national tire account with 2 of the big national chains but wasn’t close enough to one, so I pulled in to Gerald’s on a recommendation from a local. They couldn’t “fix the tire”, due to a nail in the shoulder. Now I have to take it for a replacement. He aired me back up and didn’t charge me. No wonder the local who gave me the recommendation and directions was so adamant that “it’s the only place you can trust!” I was from out of town with out of state tags. Okay so I only needed two front tires but instead I went ahead and bought all four brand new tires which cost us about $586 we got there about 40 minutes before close the guy did help us first off it did take a little timing to find somebody to help us and we did receive our tires and and the alignment was supposed to come with getting the brand new tires for free they were supposed to be balanced and aligned for free Unfortunately they cant do it there so they sent me to Dorchester which the only time I had time to do this was that day I had things to do for the next 3 weeks I had appointments hospitals meetings work I didnt have time to go out of the way to go to Dorchester to get alignment.. not to mention anything going to schools picking up kids within a month my tires looked really bad I gave them a call to ask them what they can possibly do because I bought a brand new set of tires that were never balanced they said they can look at them for us but that is all within three months my tires are now bald up front theres a nail in one of the back ones and Im sorry South Carolina has the worst roads in the world but thank you so much Geralds Tires for my four brand new tires I have to get another set already it has been 6 months now... the problem I had was I only had that amount of time and if they would have told me over the telephone they did not do alignments there I would have went to Dorchester and got everything done at one time not split up my day or split up my week in order to do this I feel I was lied to turns out the young man at Geralds lied to me and told me they did not do alignments there found ouf that was a lie just to get me out of Dorchester Road Geralds so they can close early instead of taking my money for all four tires they should have just pointed me to Summerville Dorchester Road Geralds to do everything at one time is what Im trying to say instead of taking my money for all four brand new tires and not giving me a alignment.... I have some tires now that are bald some that arent... I think I need my money back and a new set of tires or a brand new set an alignment..

Geralds Tires & Brakes on Dorchester Road in North Charleston is a great place to go for tires, brakes, and car help. The location is very convenient from the interstate and easy to access when you need to go here. The staff here is professional and offers excellent customer service and I have had a really good experience every time I have been here.

When an associate puts money first instead of listening to concerns of a customer, you have no choice but to take your business to another place. I have always told friends and family members how Geralds tires was such a reputable company and I have visited many locations for tire and brake repair service on my vehicles . Corey at this location has changed my perception about this location/Geralds due to the way he handled my concern this morning. While this location still have good staff that deserve recognition for their professional behaviors but Corey is an exception.

Excellent service, as always! ETA: the manager here is fantastic. He is so friendly and always able to calm me down when Im a little freaked out about a car issue. Although not expected, he has even remembered me the last few times and was super nice, even when he realizes that I bring my car in with every noise. They really are great to deal with and have fixed everything from a nail in the tire, total tire replacement, etc without a flinch or delay. They are very fast. Prices are incredibly reasonable and fair. They even give a lovely flower at the end. The entire staff is delightful. Love this place!

The tire guy, blonde hair, was very rude. I asked for him to look at my tire and he didnt bother. He began his rant about its the rims because its not factory without even checking it out. Dont buy warranty. Its a scam. I was a happy customer. I unfortunately lost my receipt for my warranty. I figured... 2020 they have a system that keeps records. Well after a few months tire malfunctioned and both Geralds locations I went to wouldnt cover. They offered another warranty for free... Which if they dont honor seems worthless. I declined. After buying 4 tires on 4 seperate instances from them (including my wifes car) I can safely say I wont be returning. You should go else where too.

Great, and always ready to help you. The day I went I had a nail in my tire. There were only two workers so it took awhile. Seemed everyone showed up at the same time. But they got it done. I just realized I didnt get a rose though..🤔 Maybe they cut that out due to the pandemic..

I went to Geralds last week to have them check my tires because the low air light came on and even after putting air in them, it wouldnt go off. They were VERY BUSY, so after about an hour and a half, they had removed a nail and patched the tire. They even gave me a rose and told me to have a great day. I asked how much I owed them and they said NOTHING!!! I couldnt believe it!!! They were very nice and seemed to enjoy helping people. It was an AWESOME experience. Thanks James.

We came to Charleston from out of town for work. The night before were supposed to go home we notice the tires are bubbling. We did not want to chance a 6 hour drive home on I-95. We found Geralds online and it had great reviews. When we pulled up we thought it looked like they were too busy and wouldnt be able to get squeezed in but they did. The customer service here is top notch. And these guys are fast and efficient. Its impressive how quickly they work, while also not rushing and making sure the work is done right. I wish we had Geralds in NC because they are awesome. If you need tires go here.

I had a slow leak in my tire, and when I stopped in they looked at it right away. They found the problem and gave me a number of options to fix it, from least expensive to most expensive. Then when I made my decision they took care of me right away. These guys are very honest and professional. I highly recommend them.

Well, I ended up getting a new tire with roadside & warranty. I guess that was better than having to replace all four tires, even though they didnt need to be replaced.

Absolutely above and beyond service from Bill, Zach, Levi, and the team. I am from Texas and it was my first time at any shop other than my Lexus dealership. I cannot go without saying I received a dealership experience at Geralds Dorchester. I received flowers for being a new customer. I wanted to buy 4 tires however, I did not need it just for that reason. Nonetheless, before I leave Charleston for Texas I will stop here because I trust them completely to make sure Im road ready. I was driving from Columbia to Charleston to visit my son and his family, and on I 26 I had a tire blow out. That itself is a pretty scary experience but AAA came through and put my donut on. But then of course I needed another tire. My son recommended Gerald‘s, as being the very best tire place in Charleston. So the next day we took a trip to Gerald’s on Dorchester and I have to tell you that he was correct. They were extremely pleasant and very thorough and very quick. I had a new tire and was back on the road In less than 30 minutes. And I have the bonus of a red rose in my doorhandle which was just a lovely surprise. So do I recommend Gerald’s on Dorchester? Absolutely! Five stars!

Bought a set tires from them and had them put the tires on. DESTROYED my chrome rims putting them on. Geralds would not accept any responsibility....j Mangers only response was it happens sometimes... will never go back to a Geralds Tire!
