I am a huge fan of Dollar Tree Stores. I will go out of my way to go to a nice Dollar Tree . Today, was my first time experiencing the Chapel Hill store & it was awesome! The store is very organized & it appeared that the team was in process of putting everything in its place. Definitely, worth the trip!

After having a seizure in the store, the manager kicked me out and would not let me retrieve my phone even threatening to call the police. I was able to ping my phone and prove to her that it was in fact there and had to have my boyfriend call her to ask if I may get it without an officer as I had also called the police. She not only didnt apologize, but gave me attitude about just asking for it back.

Good location, usually well stocked and lots of parking.

This is the cleanest dollar tree I have been to! The staff was friendly and helpful! All of their isles were clear of boxes and shelves were neat and organized!! I will definitely shop here again, even though I pass 2 dollar trees on the way!!

Great selection and found what I needed easily! The cashier was very friendly, and she needed change for me, so she had to call the manager for assistance. Manager was extremely rude to this cashier, speaking to her with an attitude and rolling her eyes when the cashier was nothing but nice. Find managers who treat your employees properly.

I absolutely love going to this location. The store is always clean and they keep it stocked to the best of their ability. The clerks have a quiet demeanor, but I prefer that to rude customer service. Keep up the good work you guys! 😘

You go to Dollar Tree when you are waiting for your car to be finished at the shop. Theres lots to see, but not much worth actually buying.

This is the most filthy, overcrowded and disorganized Dollar Tree that Ive ever been in and I have been in many of them all over the United States. There are always stacks of boxes in the aisles, some open some not, stuff is falling all over the floor, things are broken and scattered in a mess. Their one Saving Grace is that the customer service is good. I cant figure out why they cant get it together to keep the store clean and organized...

Choose another location. I hate leaving bad reviews but this particular experience was incredibly upsetting. This location closes at 10:00pm and I arrived after 9:30. I highly recommend NOT arriving after 9:30, as I was yelled at at least 5 times from across the store “maam were closed!” starting at 9:48 or so until I left at 9:52. I understand a warning because nobody wants to stay after close, but Trinity was rude and said “you can’t shop anymore we are CLOSED.” Following one of the employees (same one) saying “I’m getting out of here it’s time to leave” and another guy laughing, just after getting off of facetime (literally said siri call x), she started hollering across the store at me... At first I assumed she was talking to a patron entering. I got yelled at repeatedly (not a polite reminder, she was yelling across the store). Once I realized it was me she was yelling at, I said “I thought it was closing at 10, it’s ten till” she got much more angry and said “NO WE ARE CLOSED NOW. You have to leave NOW.” I asked if I could check my stuff out because she was dead serious and she said yes but I couldn’t buy anything else. She then snatched my stuff and scanned it saying I can’t shop after they close and that they are students and have to get home. I understand this but I really wish I wasn’t treated like garbage. She then had the audacity to say “I hope you have a great night and you can finish your shopping when we open at 8 tomorrow” with a smirk. Girl at this point just leave me alone and let me leave! I have this all on recording because I was waiting on hold and I record my work calls. I am also a full time student and employee and had worked all day...which is why I couldn’t get in till after I was done with work at 9:00. They locked the doors at 9:53 and were out the door as soon as they could be. I would not have stayed past close, it was still business hours as posted. wish I had just left my stuff and gone.

This Dollar Tree is neat, orderly and well-stocked. I only wish it had a frozen food section.

The Dollar Tree is an economic miracle!!! All the things in the store are only 1 dollar! They have every thing you could possibly imagine. The staff here are extremely friendly, too. They have this lamp that is really futuristic, and really shines bright light. and you turn it on by a touch sensor.

As a caterer, am always looking for supplies and good deals. Have been to all the Dollar Tree stores in the Triangle...This tucked in a corner one near my favorite Trader Joes market is just wonderful. Not only is it clean, but has an extended number of items that I have not seen in other Dollar Trees. There is no trash in the aisles and the staff seems to truly care.Chef Zacki

I have a health condition that allows me not to wear a mask and the route manager Lori told me that I could not shop there if I didn’t have a mask even though I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing one then proceeded to tell me that I needed to leave which I told her I’m going to buy my stuff and go bad management will not ever shop here again I know it’s dollar tree and dollar tree and greatest place to shop but it’s nice to get cheap things here every once in a while but I’ll gladly go spend my money somewhere else

Nice store and good location- Eastgate Shopping center! But the night staff has poor customer service...rude and unfriendly! If you are that unhappy, find another job! Life is too short especially during this pandemic!!! Then to find out that one of the rude staff is a Assistant Manager and acting like that...wow. Definitely not a good look!!

Ive visited this store several times. I like their products and are staff are always professional.

When the store at 1800 E Franklin Street first opened, it was immaculate -- a breath of relief from the store that closed and was relocated from New Hope Commons. A few weeks later it was a mirror image of the closed store -- debris and merchandise strewn over the floor. This was a late morning visit. The cleanest store in the area seems to be the one near Cole Park in Chatham County. How unfortunate.

Mean female manager.

I appreciate DG and employees.. But the 7:30pm night shift manager actually raised her voice at me. I am a weekly customer, i had bought a glue stick that doesnt stick, package opened, ok I tried to return and they dont accept the return, fine, I dont care. BUT the way I am handled, rough, rude, defensive, lacking social skills, aggressive. There is lack of training to handle problems. the employee is on the phone with personal call, I dont care, but the employee just does not want to be bothered and is rough with customers and lacks friendliness, this is not acceptable.

Usually crowded but not today. Picked up all my Valentines day supplies. Good selection. Cashier was pleasant.

Especially dirty for a dollar store. Floor looked like it hasnt been vacuumed in a week, piles of product blocking isles with no attending staff. But the staff working the register was exceptionally friendly.

This location has the most drugs Ive ever seen for a dollar store. That was the highlight of the place. I found cute stickers and great cheap crafting and office supplies there. Small but you get what you need. Also, the front sign says they do NOT accept EBT. Just a heads up for anyone who shops with EBT.

The customer service here was in excellent order! The only thing i missed about this dollar tree was a frozen foods section. This store could really bring in some big bucks if they take advantage of the over populated Walmart next door by featuring a frozen foods section in store. This is what Duke, NCCU, and Durham Tech students really need, affordable low cost frozen foods.

Amazing store! I have been on the hunt for sparklers for my fiancé and is New Years Eve wedding. I didnt order online because I was positive I could find them locally. I tried several stores and decided to try this one as a last ditch effort. William was working at the time and we asked if they had any sparklers, he racked his brain but initially said no I dont think we do we thanked him on our way to the door and then he said you know what wait! I think we have some left over from the 4th of July. SURE ENOUGH THEY DID! Thank you William and thank you for having such great staff! Thanks abi and larry
