This store is my go to choice for life management. Eddie packed my bicycle to go to the manufacturer in Oregon for an upfit and Kathy seemlessly helped me have a will witnessed and notarized for someone with accessibility issues. If I have a need, I always go to them first. And, if they cant address your need, they will happily refer you to someone who can.

If you want to ship something, there is no better place to go! I called Eddie and explained that I needed to ship a big, heavy mechanical pump with a pulley attached. Let’s just say this thing was not going in a box and certainly wasn’t nice and square. Oh, and it weighed about 70lbs. He and I got this thing into the store and he took charge. He determined the best way to manage it was to strap it to a pallet and get it freighted to its destination. Before it left his building it was shrink wrapped and strapped down, guaranteed to travel safely!I can confirm that other UPS stores in the area COULD NOT handle this type of item (I asked, they declined). Eddie is a PRO and can and will handle your delivery. Simply the best at what they do!

My experience was exactly like the one posted by Sharin Amra a month ago. I interrupted the employee on her phone, and she was very unpleasant when assisting me. She was barely audible when I asked her a question. Where are the nice employees of the past? I have had good experiences at this UPS location but none of late.

Eddie (the owner) is the nicest guy around and a masterful packer. He can ship anything safely. He packed for me two vintage stereo speakers that I sold on eBay. I got excellent feedback from the buyer about the packing and the condition the speakers arrived in.

We have had several projects printed here; invitations, announcements, Christmas cards, etc. and the quality always exceeds our expectations. I never write reviews, and I always have a good experience here, as it is my local UPS store. However today I was received by an employee that seemed like she was having a bad day. Huffed and puffed and rolled her eyes when she had to scan my return in twice. Barely even said a word to me. Very rude and acted like she was doing me a favor. This is my first review I have ever written, but Eddie was very disrespectful and barked questions/orders at me during my visit this evening that made me feel so un-welcomed that I ended up leaving without shipping my package. I used the UPS store @ Meadowmont in Chapel Hill, NC to pack and ship a vintage train set from my 1950s childhood to my great nieces and nephews in the Kansas City area. Eddie (the owner) at the store took special interest in the project and spent hours packing individual pieces and arranging them to be shipped the same day. The items required special handling all along the way due to the weight of the shipping boxes, the fragility of the items and their value. It all came off without a hitch and they arrived exactly as scheduled. This UPS store will continue to be my go-to partner. Id recommend them to anyone requiring any of their services.

Eddie and Kathy are incredibly hands on owners and managers! I was visiting my mother and they came to her home to help me find a shipping solution for a very large and heavy oriental rug. Eddie immediately assessed the situation and figured out a way to fold it and secure it so as to avoid a costly freight expense. He was able to get it into my car and only charged me for their standard pick-up fee, even though he and Kathy were there at least 30 minutes assisting me. What a great experience!

The person working wasnt helpful and seemed not to care. I needed to ship a few packages for low cost. He wasnt knowledgeable at all. Hoping my packages are delivered without issues. I hate incompetent people. Wont come back to UPS in the future for anything.

2 stars because weve always received great service until today.TODAY WAS SUCH ODD BEHAVIOR.Honestly shocked by the absolute rudeness we experienced. We are a neighboring business who have used them for a long time - in fact, we refer customers over there all the time. Today, we placed an online printing order (which has always been ready same day) and didnt receive any estimated ready time like we normally do. We called to check for the ETA and we were forwarded to a man who, when I asked about the estimated time, said, Did you miss the thing on the website that said we are working with 24-hour cycles I said that I guess so but the email didnt notify us of this and we wouldnt have placed the order if we had known....(nor would our phone call be relevant.) So then he asks if I need it today and when I said I mean yeah, the event is tonight, I KID YOU NOT, HE SAYS, Well, we cant and continues with, Well, let me just kick everyone else off the printer just so youuuuuuu can have your product and no one else can get theirs. I was so taken aback. Like, if it couldnt be done, just apologize for the lack of clarity on the website and offer to print it tomorrow. No need to be jerk to a loyal customer. Thank goodness for recorded phone calls though, my gosh!

Wow. Where do I begin? To say the customer service at this location is fantastic, is an understatement.I went to this UPS location with items that required refrigeration. Eddie (the owner) assisted me every step of the way. He provided me with tools to wrap the dry ice and worked with me until we were able to come up with a solution to keep my items cold. We had a few great conversations, and when I mentioned my dad worked for UNC, he told me that employees get a discount at his store. I walked out of the store feeling like I had a pleasant experience and even told my friends about it.However, the customer service didn’t stop there. As I was leaving, I saw Eddie with my package, he was walking it over to the grocery store across the street to put it in their industrial fridge. That way it would stay cool in this 103 degree heat before it was shipped off.Eddie even followed up with me on the phone to make sure my package had been received by the receiver and to make sure the items had stayed cool.Everyone who works at that store is kind and extremely helpful. In our digital age, customer service is often forgotten or overlooked. This experience reminded me how important it is to be kind. Eddie takes a lot of pride in his business and goes the extra mile to show it.Something I didn’t know before this is that UPS stores are independently owned. I think it’s important to support independently owned or small businesses. I encourage others to do the same and to be sure to support this independently owned business in particular.

When my parents were moving out of their retirement community, Eddie and the team went the extra mile helping them ship family heirlooms (including ancient pottery) to family around the country. Eddie is a true professional - he came to their home to understand their needs; his team carefully moved the items to their store; they packed each as if that item was their own. One larger fragile item needed to be paletted and specialty-shipped. No problem. They just made it happen. This is *way* more than a UPS store. It gave my parents and my family peace of mind to know that their prized possessions were in such great care.

I had never given much thought to what company I use to ship things until I dropped a guitar off at this location to be packed and shipped. Eddie and Kathy treat the items they ship as if they are their own and their customer service is amazing to boot. The recipient even commented on how well packed the guitar was upon receiving it.

I come in frequently (too often) to return items to Amazon and Zappos (too easy!) and Jhaylan, Jonnie, and Mitzi make it even easier! They scan my codes on the phone, reseal my packages and its done! Helpful, friendly, efficient and went above an beyond... I dropped off package in the morning and forgot to put the packing slip inside. I called to ask if I could drop off the slip and slide it into the package. The man on the phone, John, said I could just email him the packing slip and he would take care of it. There was easy access with ample free parking, the store signage was clear, and the store front appearance was professional and attractive.The interior was neat and spotlessly clean. Products are well-organized with clear labeling and pricing.
