I moved into Cosgrove Hill apartments in September 2020. I had reservations about apartment living after selling my home, but I needed to live in a dwelling without stairs. My concerns were about the noise level, pest control issues, and maintenance issues. After living here for week, my reaction was that I wished I had moved here a lot sooner than I did.My apartment is lovely and very quiet. There are people living above me, opposite me, and next to me, but I don’t hear any noise coming their apartments. These buildings have been well built..In regard to maintenance issues, if you put in a work order, things are addressed immediately. Two nights after I moved in, my air conditioning stopped working around 9:30 PM. I called the emergency number for maintenance, and within an hour Michael came and repaired it. Michael does the maintenance work here, and he gets 5 stars. He is very knowledgeable, he is a very hard worker, and he is dedicated to his job. If a part is needed to complete a repair, Michael comes to complete the repair as soon as the part arrives. In the interim, you get updates in regard to the delay. Michael is a great model to use when defining “Good Customer Service”.The amenities here are amazing, and everyone I have met who lives here likes it. I have not had any issues in regard to pest control.The management team is wonderful and very helpful. We have Emily and Dana. They also get “Five Stars” from me because they are both very considerate and caring, and excel in providing good customer service.I highly recommend Cosgrove Hill apartments to anyone and everyone who is looking for a new place to live. I feel so blessed to live here.

I love living at Cosgrove Hill! The complex is super nice, clean, and conveniently located by several grocery stores and restaurants. Maintenance is also extremely timely whenever called, though Ive only needed them to change a light bulb and teach me how to work the ice machine. All appliances are up to date!

Cosgrove Hill is a very quiet, homely apartment complex with great amenities and helpful staff. We came from a different complex nearby and Cosgrove Hill has been truly wonderful by comparison. The residents are generally friendly, and theres hardly any issues. We recommend this complex.

Cosgrove Hill is a wonderful place to live and a great community! I moved during COVID to my new apartment, and the staff were extremely flexible and supportive during the entire process. Ive had some bad experiences with prior landlords, and when I told the staff at CH about one of them, they reacted with genuine horror. Their reaction demonstrated to me the care they have for their tenants. My apartment was clean and well-maintained when I moved in, which made my move considerably less stressful. Utilities are very affordable because of how energy-efficient the units are. The maintenance staff is amazing. They are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and very fast (my average work order turnaround time has been less than 24 hours for non-urgent repairs, and Ive never needed an urgent repair). I dont have too many data points on repairs because the apartments are well-kept and do not require much maintenance. The amenities are excellent, especially the immaculate pool. Overall, this is undoubtedly the best place I have lived so far.

We moved in July 1 and absolutely love it here! They have great amenities, quick maintenance, and such a kind staff. Everyone is always happy to help with anything you need. Neighbors are great and friendly. Apartments are dreamy - truly feels like we are at a resort 24/7. Love it here!

My wife and I have been loving Cosgrove!! This is our first place together and we love the amenities and the staff very much!! They always have cool food trucks coming through, fun events they are notifying us of, and any maintenance needs are taken care of extremely timely and efficiently! I would highly recommend this apartment complex!!

Great community and staff! With an enormous dog park, beautiful fountain, well kept grounds and great location in right in town. Anne Marie is very helpful and attentive, Dana can answer just about any question or tell you how to find it. Michael is quick to take care of any work orders and friendly.

The maintenance and management are always prompt and professional. We are really happy with our apartment, especially for the rent we pay.The fees do make us feel a little nickel-and-dimed. A pet fee is standard, but there is a $60/month washer/dryer fee. At that price, you are actually better off hiring a laundry service. I’d rather pay a higher rent than have to feel silly paying the W/D fee.Despite this, we’ve had a great experience so far and would highly recommend living here for anyone moving to the triangle.

Every interaction with the staff at Cosgrove Hill was exceedingly positive. Paul and AnnMarie are both professional and kind. I found this to be a wonderful place to live. EXTREMELY dog friendly. You will really like it here if you have a dog- outstanding!

This past summer, my family and I moved from the Bay Area. The Cosgrove Hill community was warm, welcoming, and has become a wonderful place to call home.

Staff is terrible and extremely rude. Unsafe location. Many cars broken into as well as numerous other crimes, with no security camera in parking lot. Save your money and live some place better for the price they charge.

UPDATE: I called in to inquire about an apartment/townhome availability and my initial experience wasn’t the greatest ....but after speaking with The manager, Annmariee of Cosgrove Hill, I am more excited about moving into the complex now. Annmarie was very pleasant & I really appreciate her following up & making sure all of my questions and concerns were answered. Also, Jonathan from NWR Cares was so professional & helpful! He redirected me in the right direction & I really appreciate the effort, it certainly means a lot when relocating. Now, I would definitely recommend the property to anyone moving to the area, beautiful landscape, location & amenities!!

I’ve been at Cosgrove Hill for three months now and it’s my favorite place I’ve lived thus far. My one bedroom is huge and I’d pay double the rent just for the balcony! (Jk, but it rocks!) Paul, Kevin and Mike are on top of everything - anything I’ve needed they’ve made sure it is taken care of. I’ve lived in a lot of different apartments in the Chapel Hill area but this has been the best. It’s so serene, quiet and dog friendly. From the homey details in the apartments to the landscape of the neighborhood - it’s all incredible.

I come to the property once a week as a vendor and I can tell this property cares for their residents. Kevin and Paul do a great job with communicating with residents and making sure that they are cared for. Whenever something needs to be fix or sealed I can always count on mike to have it done before I come back the next week. Keep up the good work

By far my best apartment experience. The quality of the apartments is top notch, and the floor plans are open with great details that made it feel like a home. Neighbors are great and staff is incredibly friendly. Dog park and grounds are well maintain. Loved the elevators for moving! The location is great for quick access all around, and to multiple grocery stores. Hard to think of anything negative. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a truly nice place to live.

I lived at Cosgrove for Three years and enjoyed living there. The location is great - near lots of shopping, restaurants and just minutes from downtown Chapel Hill and Durham. Loved the pool- they have a great pool and community area. Paul in the office was always very helpful with questions or concerns as was Kevin and Mike. Great apartment complex- and a lot nicer than many you will find in Chapel Hill that are older or out of date in terms of style. Would recommend checking them out!

Highly recommend. Quality apartments. Phenomenal staff. We originally moved across the country into a different apartment complex in Chapel Hill but we were not satisfied. We came across Cosgrove Hill and loved the units. The staff, namely Kevin, Mike, and Paul were beyond helpful and responsive to every question we had. They didnt pressure us to sign a lease like other places but instead were very friendly and relatable. We didnt feel like just another sale. They understand that were making an investment and choosing a place to call home. Very welcoming and even the surroundings and landscaping are beautiful. Clearly a place managed with care.

We have the highest regard for the professionalism of the friendly and reliable management team here at Cosgrove Hill, Kevin and Paul. Before we moved to Chapel Hill, they were both extremely prompt in returning our email and phone inquiries, and once we became residents they have assisted us frequently, even helping us send faxes back and forth to our former city in connection with a house sale. The maintenance is excellent--we just tell Kevin or Paul the problem, and they send the appropriate person to fix it within 24 hours. As older residents, we feel very comfortable living here.

Our experience at Cosgrove Hill has been amazing. We were looking for a place with friendly neighbors, a sturdy apartment with little noise, and good management team and Cosgrove Hill delivers on all fronts. We love our apartment and the people in the community and Paul and Kevin in the management office have made us feel welcome and taken care of. Moved into this apartment complex in June and have loved my new home! Apartment layout is very convenient having good natural light. Paul and Kevin have been wonderful to work with and Mike went beyond the call of duty repairing my air conditioning on a very hot day not long after moving in. Being located close to 40 makes its location very convenient. After living in a house for 38 years, this has been an easy downsizing experience.

Cosgrove hill is in a great location with an open concept floor plan. The stone structures outside buildings complement the nice finishes, granite countertops and hard wood floors inside.The pool, gym, business center and the dog park are great amenities. The office staff is very friendly and take care of maintenance requests in a timely fashion. Pauls friendly smile is always present to greet residents in time of need. He along with the other staff worked hard to ensure our time at Cosgrove was a memorable one.

We have been at Cosgrove Hill for a temporary lease while our new home is being completed. The complex is very well maintained and pet friendly. Any repairs are promptly done . The management is excellent and very helpful. We will be sorry to leave and would highly recommend Cosgrove Hill.

I moved to Cosgrove Hill in April of 2009. It was one of the best decisions that I made in my life. Cosgrove Hill is an excellent and beautiful place with easy access to everything that I need to live a comfortable life. I am impressed by the attention and care of the apartments managers especially the efficiency of Paul, Brook, and Mike in attending my requests promptly whenever I need some assistance related to the apartment maintenance service. I also want to say that here I feel at home.

Cosgrove Hill is a quiet, lovely spot in an otherwise busy section on the main connector between Chapel Hill and Durham (Rte 15-501). The grounds are beautifully kept and the management (Kevin, Paul, and Mike) is responsive and responsible, in a low-key manner. Our apartment is quiet and well laid out. I have not had any issues and I am really pleased with the choice that I made to move to Cosgrove Hill

I have only been at Cosgrove for a few weeks while my dad has a treatment at Duke (which is a great location for Duke employees!). The property is beautiful with great landscaping-- but the apartment is whats impressive. These homes are built with quality and detail- it is not a typical apartment but feels like a little house. The finishes, flooring, doors, showers, etc are all well designed. The one single thing I would change is the shower heads--- the showers are too nice for such a standard shower head! Staff is friendly and grounds are clean. Definitely recommend!

Paul Brookshire was most helpful in giving me a tour of Cosgrove Hill. The units were spacious and nicely. I appreciated that the layout of the unit provided nice sunlight and ample room. Paul was courteous, professional and helpful in answering all of our questions. The location of Cosgrove is great!

Costgrove is certainly one of the nicest rental apartment complexes in Chapel Hill. The apartments are complete with high end finishings, real wood floors, and lots of light. The grounds are also beautiful and quiet. My only complaint is that there is only one place to throw garbage, and its at the opposite end of the complex to where my mother lives. She has to walk 10 minutes with her garbage to throw it out. Not an acceptable option, particularly for the price we are paying for rent. They also give no other options like door pick up for those residence that are not as mobile.

Could not have asked for a better experience here. Kevin, Paul, and Mike are amazing. I would highly recommend this complex.

Rank A apartment here. One issue someone might have is the price; but, honestly, Cosgrove is actually rather affordable for a Rank A apartment. If you have extra money to spare, dont hesitate. This place is GOLD.

We have been living here for one year and have found the staff--especially Paul in the office and Mike in maintenance-- to be extremely helpful and hard-working. They checked our apartment once a week while we were away for several months and kept it in great condition. Also, the apartments are very well insulated for sound and temperature so our energy bills have been quite reasonable. And it is great to have an elevator! Finally,We are close to Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and harris-Teeter, so shopping is easy.

We have been living in Cosgrove Hill for more than a year now. The units are very well built and we don’t hear the outside noises. I like the view of our unit and the property is very well kept. The office is very responsive to our requests. We have had excellent experience working with them since we moved in (thank you Paul and Brook). The rental price for Cosgrove Hill is competitive with other properties in Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill rents and housing prices are higher than the surrounding communities, major factor is due to the highly regarded school system.) We like the community and our neighbors. The school district for Cosgrove Hill is among the best in Chapel Hill (Glenwood elementary, Philips middle school and East Chapel Hill high).

Nice place, very convenient and has more of a community feeling than most apartment complexes. The residents appear to be a mix of professionals, retirees and young families, and overall I felt very safe. We especially like how dog friendly the complex is with a dog park and ample dog waste stations throughout the property. The ONLY negative is that you have to take your trash/recycling to a central dumpster which was a little far from our apartment . I suggest they add a private service that residents can pay for (especially elderly ones) if they would like door step pick up. Kevin and Paul in the mgt office are very helpful and friendly, kindly getting approval of my suggestion for a doggie swim on the last day of the season which they now plan to hold as a regular event. We chose this over the Berkshire lofts and Im glad we did.

We had high hopes for this apartment complex as we sought to live there while looking to purchase a home. We had a townhouse at 125 Turvey Court. Our experience there turned very bad after the first week when my wife started having breathing issues only while in the townhouse. We reported a musty smell to the management coming from the master bathroom. A couple of half-hearted attempts were made to find the problem. In the meantime, a big, moldy mess was found in wet sub-flooring in the hall bathroom. The management quickly fixed that but did not contain the work area thus contaminating the entire unit with mold spores. They let us break the lease and begrudgingly refunded part of the money for the weeks that we could not live there. In the meantime we have alerted officials for the Town of Chapel Hill as well as the CEO of the holding company for that property. Were hoping that they have the guts to demolish the master bathroom once we leave in order to find and fix the problem once and for all. We hate the thought of another unsuspecting family going through what we have been through. We are packing and moving out over the next couple of days. We have to wear industrial respirators while in the unit packing and then follow proper mold decontamination procedures for our affected belongings. The managements final word was the the unit was fit and habitable. We strongly disagree but the Town promised to follow up with them even after we are gone.

High voltage power cables & Power Cable Systems in the community. Bad for health. Hot in summer. Few trees. Rude technical maintenance.Very expensive!
