Took my 2 year old here for a haircut. Stylist was patient, adept, and most importantly, quick! She did a great job and we were quickly on our way with a lollipop in hand.

Clean, organized, wait time is short, and prices are reasonable. Ive only had service by one person, a gentleman name Moon. Moon does a great job, takes pride in his work, and has always provided exactly what was asked of him. I take my son there too and now, every few weeks my son says, Dad, I need a Moon Fade. So there you have it....go get you a Moon Fade.

This place use to be fantastic. Did always a good job. There was a person named Annie, she took her time and listen how you would like your haircut. Always was done right. She left or let go, I don’t know. The times I ah r been back always got somebody else and never left satisfied. They don’t really care anymore how it’s done. Every time I leave the place not satisfied. Never said anything and went back time after time, hoping somebody will do a decent job.Today I had it. Doesn’t even look I had a haircut. It’s unbelievable. I’m done with that place.

Fast and Perfect. I have been here for first time, and was really impressed. Salons with $10-$12 haircut normally do not take the job seriously as they feel its cheaper and people who do not care much about their hair style visit these low cost salons. This salon is an exception, they did my hair style with interest. I was very impressed and they are really worthful for a generous tip. I would surely recommend this place.

Mr moon was amazing I loved the way he cut my hair

I have visited this place for my daughters hair cut. We had very bad behavior from one of their staff person named SARAH. Upon asking for some more hair cut she asked for the extra charge and told she wont do it. I was so shocked why would somebody ask more money if we want little more hair cut and that too when she is doing the hair cut. So ridiculous. More over when we requested to the manager/responsible person. He asked her to cut it some more. Then she drag my daughters hand and took her to her sit. It was really really very bad experience for my daughter. I have complained for this rude behavior to the manager also.I would never ever to go to that person again and also think about to go to this barber shop again as well where they allow their staff members to behave rudely to their customers.

I come here about every 2-3 weeks for my 6 year olds hair cut. My husband comes here, too. Mr. Moon always cuts my sons hair and has been since my son was probably 2 years old. Each time, I show him a picture of what I like and he makes it happen. At other places, my son complains that they pull his hair and it hurts when he gets a hair cut. But, not here. No complaints makes for one happy mama. I live in South Riding and its great to know that I have this place, essentially in my backyard, to trust each and every time. Highly recommended :)

Ive been a fairly regular customer at this place, and have been more-or-less satisfied with the haircuts Ive gotten. But that changed after my most recent visit. The lady who cut my hair didnt seem to understand anything I said to her, and I understood almost nothing of what she said to me. When I expressed my dissatisfaction about the job she did, she got quite irate with me, and muttered in Korean in an annoyed sounding way. Her body language and facial expressions indicated to me that it was my fault I was unhappy. She just glared at me as I left. Nice. I wont be going back to this place.

Haircuts are hit or miss for men. I’ve gotten skipped over by people who walked in 10 minutes after me. I brought my daughter in for a haircut and they ruined her hair for 4 months. Unfortunately they are the “best” in the area unless you want to go to another town.

It is a terrible store. They took advantage of being the only barber shop in the area, and delivering poor and low-level customer service. Some employees didnt have a culture of friendliness and respect to clients. We need a better barber shop replacing this horrific place.

Hit or miss. Communication? Difficult. Dont recommend this place and here is why?We had issue at South Riding location back em December 18 with female employee, we called store to suggest improvement and how to fix our issue but the person in charge at store couldnt help us and gave us multiples different cell numbers to call, looks like they were trying to avoid us and didnt care to listen.After bouncing couple times, we were able to speak to someone in FAIRFAX, yes, fairfax! Even though the issue wasnt in fairfax, which means if you have a problem in SR, you are on your own, they will charge you service (NO MATTER WHAT and expect tip) zero customer service!The person from fairfax promised speak to the employee, etc etc but today after we came back after long period, guess what? This same lady who screwed up our hair was shouting at store to a different customer in regards to kids hair cut outcome, I guess she did not get any train.Also, the lady who helped us today, screwed up our hair cut as well. We asked loud and clear: not to cut hair too short. just like 1/3 inch or less but she disregarded instructions and did cut really short, unbelievable! Also, hair was supposed to have fade (on the back) from 2 to 1 to 0 and skin but it ALL looked the same on the back, not happy!This other lady said SORRY but we got charged anyways and still had to tip, horrible customer service, never gonna go back there. They are always busy, always in a hurry to cut your hair so employees can cut more and more hairs to get their tip, more they cut more they make money I guess, no intention to get it correct because management wont address a problem if they have one, sad!

I have gone to this barber for five years without relent they constantly bring me a great cut for a great price. They act like a high quality hair salon but are priced much better.

I have been going there frequently ever since Ive moved. Ive never experienced problems and was always satisfied with my haircut until today. Today, my younger brother got his haircut from a woman named Helen from CJ Haircuts in Chantilly, Virginia(East Gate). She first barely cut his hair, so we asked her to cut it a bit more and she gave a big sigh and the stink eye. When we finished and were about to leave, my brother told me she was talking very rudely about him in Korean to her fellow employees around her. Little did she know, he understood Korean. She also let out her frustration through combing his hair so hard that my brother thought it might bleed. She also always accidentally put the electric razor on his ear multiple times. I am very disappointed and shocked on Helens behavior. This was very immature and unprofessional. I hope no one else will have to suffer through that like my younger brother did. He is only 13. No one deserves that. Thank you.

2019-04-15 Connie did an excellent job giving me a haircut, she was very nice, courteous, approached me when I walked in the shop for the first time as I was about to sit down in the waiting area, showed her what type of haircut I wanted by pointing to the haircut style on the wall, we discussed the haircut briefly and she gave me the haircut that I wanted and was hoping to get. Before she finished, she turned me around, so I could see my haircut in the mirror, she started clipping the top sides of my head/hair, I asked her, are their any dead-ends on the top of my head, she said, yes plenty, so I asked her to use the scissor to clip the dead-ends on the top of my head and she did that, used blow dryer to blow away the loose hair, she used some device to trim/cut hair in my ears and then used wet wipe/cloth to clean my neck and around my ears. I told her that I want to return and get her to cut my hair from now on, she replied with anybody (here can cut my hair), I asked her, does she work monday thru friday, she said, tuesday and thursday off. $14/higher on mens haircut, $20/higher on womens haircut and other prices for children (girls and boys). They have a very nice waiting area, cushioned seats and/or love seats. Highly recommend!2019-05-13 another haircut by Connie, I reminded her about the haircut that I prefer, she asked me which number haircut (from the sample haircuts), and she remembered the haircut that I prefer, before finishing my haircut, she asked about trimming a long piece of hair on my eyebrow and trimming hair in my ears, I thanked her for noticing, she said that it is my job. Also, she asked me about my mothers day and we spoke briefly about each others mothers day. She gave me the haircut that I wanted and more. Highly recommend! Finally, I went around 3pm and only 2 other men was in the shop and after my haircut, no one else was there. The last time I was there, it was definitely more busy (adult and children customers there at that time).2019-06-05 another great haircut by Connie2019-07-03 entered the barber shop, sat down since I did not see Connie on the floor, one lady asked me, Connie? I said, yes and Connie came out to cut my hair. As always, she knew what I wanted and gave me a great haircut.

I don’t even want to rate a star. They just don’t understand nor listen to your words, I had my cut shown to the dresser but she still didn’t do it right rather messing up. She trimmed off my beard without any acknowledgement giving a dirty explanation. I’d never step in there again!

Good hair cut shop clean and friendly. Cant beat price for Mens hair cut, no hair wash after cutting your hair but thats fine with me because I take head bath after my hair cut.

CJ Haircuts is a horrible salon and I would not reccomend it at all. The woman who cut my hair did not do anything close to what I asked for and I brought 3 pictures. She said she would keep my length and give me a trim and then cut off 6 or 7 inches of my hair. She cut shaggy, uneven layers and cut my angled side bangs bluntly. I cried in the car for 30 minutes, and when I went to get it fixed somewhere else the lady said What did she do to your hair? multiple times while cutting it and said she did her best to fix it, but it was hard. It looks better now but I am getting a weave shortly and the haircut I received here was traumatic. I implore you to take your business somewhere else.

Not a real barber shop. All the “barbers” are koran women who look like they hate their jobs. No quality service. Also they dont do edge ups with a razor. What kind of barber shop doesnt offer that service. Do not go. You will regret it. If you want a cheap low quality haircut than this is the place for you.

Only the owner knows how to cut everyone else seems to be beginners.

My daughter went and got a haircut, first the cut was much shorter than she asked for. Second the left side was an inch shorter than the right side. The whole haircut took less than 10 minutes. So disappointed!
