I have never had a bad experience with other Ins companies as I have had with this one. It’s all their policies across the board. Weather it was my house that was flooded, or any other problem it’s always difficult to get them to pay if they pay at all. Their premiums are high and you must constantly be contacting them to get anything done. I had my daughters vehicle removed from my policy and for 2.5 years they have had her listed on my policy so I have been paying for it when she never drives the vehicles that are listed on the policy. When he was contacted with that information he acted like we had never talked about her being removed from the policy and that I should always be checking my policy for errors. Ok forgive me for trusting that William Claytor would be someone you could trust for not ripping me off with premiums that should never have been charged since years ago I was told she would not be covered if she Drove any of the vehicles on the policy but her own. Steer clear of this insurance agent. There are literally thousands more insurance agents to deal with, which I’m sure would be more honest and when you have a claim, that it would be taken care of quickly without having to contact them constantly to make sure it gets done in a timely manner. (FYI I never was fully reimbursed for the flood at my house.)

Bill has been my agent for over 8 years now. He has always been helpful and takes care of any needs. When we got in an accident years ago, he kept on top of the claim with us to make sure it all worked out. I liked Farmers so much I came to work for him and have been with him for 4 years. Great company that works for their customers.

Everything was great until I went to cancel my policies. There was an error made in cancelling an umbrella policy. No biggie just needed it fixed but when I called to handle it I was so off put by Williams actions to blame me, become overly defensive, and demean me. Its not like I was mad or even upset the error had been made I was just looking to see what needed to happen next. Not sure whether he was just having a bad morning or what but I could not get off the phone fast enough I felt so attacked. I feel like leaving a review might encourage him to be more kind.

Since 2015, my experience with Lisa Convery at the William Claytor Farmers Insurance agency has been outstanding! She has been exceptionally responsive to our questions related to both our homeowners and auto insurance policies. Additionally, Lisa accurately and swiftly handled the administrative changes required when we moved several times with professionalism and a very pleasant demeanor. In tapping Lisa to handle our business, Bill has ensured that our complete satisfaction with his agency is maintained.

Well...while Bill is my ex-husband, he also remains my insurance agent. :) If that isnt a RAVE review for the guy I dont know what is. When I have insurance needs hes always quick to get me handled and questions or concerns answered. I personally maintain Auto, Home and Life Insurance with the William Claytor Farmers Insurance Agency and continue to recommend him to friends!
