Party city is okay but over priced and i went looking for batman items and they only had 2 balloons.

They had the Halloween supplies I needed, friendly staff and good Covid / cleanliness practices.

Normally I can find lots of goodies for whatever occasion Im shopping for but I was disappointed that they didnt have much for a Gender reveal party.

What can I say. It has birthday party supplies that are relevant. Come with a specific set of things to get and a specific theme...or prepare to be here for a while. Youve been warned!

Very big balloon great price..Friend loved it

I came in to get invitations for my sons birthday party and they were out. I asked when they would get more in and I was told if they scanned the product that day it would be 2 weeks or more. That is just absolutely ridiculous that it takes 2 weeks. So I just went online to Amazon, found the exact same invitations, ordered them, and had them the next day. Definitely a big big dissappointment that the business is run this way.

Clean, well stocked

I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered a product yesterday for in store pick up. The website said there were 20 cans remaining of the hair dye that I ordered. I went to pick up my order today only to find out they never brought my items up front and were now completely out of stock of the item. I have only had negative experiences with Party City and this time has pushed me to finally leave a review. There were 3 employees working...its Party City...and Halloween. Youd think some logic would be used to stock and staff the store appropriately.

They have just about any theme you could want.. cashier was very nice.. none of the other workers would talk to us.. to busy talking about other employees.. even as we were close to them didnt stop them from cutting down employees that werent working that day..

Have visited the store many times but this was our first for buying costumes. We were helped by a super sweet female employee who explained how it worked. A second male employee helped get our costume and was also very friendly. Wish I had gotten their names. Liked having a place for my daughter to try on. Even cashier was extra helpful and explained return policy. Was able to use my digital coupon and save! Made it very easy to go through the whole process.

Some of the candy looked old short on alot of items little pricey

Customer service is sub-par. Selection is nice and unique, but not worth the experience. Went recently to get balloons for a 2 year olds birthday and they were out of helium, offered no solution, and employee just had a blank stare on their face.....

Always find the right costume for the kids at this store for a good price!

I have been placing orders for balloons at this store for years. It’s so easy to go in during the week, buy the balloons, prepay for helium and then pick up on the weekend. Recently I went in and was told they only do same day orders now. So I needed to come back in Saturday, drop off the balloons (or wait) and then come back again. Three trips!! I chose to go in and wait, I allowed for 20 extra minutes as an employee had suggested. I got to the store and it was a madhouse with massive lines. I not only had to wait in line to pay for the helium for twenty minutes, I was then told it would take over an hour to get my balloons blown up! This new policy is very inconvenient and I definitely was not the only customer there that looked annoyed or walked out. I won’t be returning to this store for balloons again unless they change their policy.

A classmate recommended this place for buying gift wrapping paper as a makeshift wallpaper for my photoshoots. Its nice but it doesnt have a grand selection as I hoped, still it does offer a variety of item for parties at a reasonable price.

Definitely needs more than 1-2 employees at a time (especially when its U of I graduation weekend) [be ready to wait in line] otherwise, the store is always stocked well and not messy.

Never really find what I’m looking for and very very expensive..

The store is very dirty and the customer service is sub-par. I really dont like going in here unless absolutely necessary or if a friend needs me to go in with them. Its a great place for cheap party ware but so is Amazon.

I do like Party City go there all the time, but when I was there last night got balloons asked if were okay for the hospital she looked at me blank stare and mumbled something then said yes. Went to blow up the main balloon and I told her it wasnt the same as the one I picked and she said oh well they changed the colors, I told her I wouldnt of picked the other balloon colors if Id of know, she just kept blowing up the balloons then gave them to me. Then I went to the hospital and was told couldnt bring them in, called Party City and was told no we use latex. If I knew I wouldnt of spent money on balloons I had to pop.

I was only in there for 10 minutes and 2 people made sure I was finding everything alright. They also have their wall color organized and its amazing

I like the fact that they had different party favors separated by genre I was able to find items quickly and put together a nice party for my son on his birthday on limited time and funds with ranging variety of products I found everything I needed and within my budget with the exception of only one person working the register no complaints!!!

There was only one person at the counter for the first 15 min I was there. It was a Friday at 3 pm. An employee was in the mens restroom for those 10 minutes. Me and a young family were trying to use the facilities. When I got in line I said you must be the one who was in the bathroom for ten minutes. He said..if people went banging on the door every 2 min I wouldve been out already...in a rude manner. The manager promptly told him that there were complaints about him taking too long.

Could not find what I needed. Seems like if you want party stuff for children, showers, weddings babies your selection is poor. Tried to find things for our Mother to celebrate a 95th birthday.

Came in to get a balloon bouquet, they were out of helium, really how does that happen? I was told to go to meijer to get them filled. I said ok Ill buy the balloons and go to meijer. Out of the 4 mylars I wanted they didnt have 3 of them, one was a 15 dollar balloon I really wanted. No apologies for the inconvenience. Horrible experience!!!!!!

Great verity of party supplies. The cashier wasnt nice at all and the helium balloons I bought, last only for few hours, my daughter was so disappointed...

We spent about 45 mins in there a few days ago, pricing etc. Did a follow up phone call for a couple of items we had forgotten. All very helpful and had a large supply to choose from.

The staff in the costume isle was rude and unhelpful. She stood in 1 spot on her cell phone and when told the coatume numbers asked for, finished texting and pulled out a work phone. Looked at the screen without typing anything for 4 different numbers given to her and said sold out each time. I dont think she even looked for the numbers i gave her!

Do NOT join their email list, they will not remove you. I have asked repeatedly (at least 10 times over the course of several weeks). They send an email almost every day at 7am that I dont care anything about since I rarely shop there so Ive asked to be removed. I wont shsh there again. Nothing against the local store, I have only been able to request this on their website.

Decent party store, seasonal staff during the peak season which dont seem to be very knowledgeable or very willing to help.
