Everything was so cool here! This is the best place for costumes and party supplies. The mask and favors were cheaper than Amazon.Bathroom could have used some cleaning but Ill be back!

This was my favorite place to shop.i look forward to Halloween and this was the place I would go for sum scary realistic masks ...went there today to find out my favorite store is only by appointment which is fine and all but its just not the same without walking thru it especially the haunted room ..but most of all this is by far the the best store for every holiday hands down spirt Halloween or any other cant top what dallas has to offer. thank you dallas and company!!!

Loved this place. There were lots of cool costumes, accessories, and wigs with real hair and synthetic hair. We found a wig my daughter needed for a wig with real hair for decent price.

This store is closing permanently for the owners retirement on November 1, 2020.

Been shopping here for decades (no kidding, living 4 hours away, this was a family trip pre-Halloween growing up). As an adult I learned why. Always a range of options and really helpful staff.

Been going here since I was a kid. Finally was able to go again after 17 yrs, i even drove over 2 hours to visit again. Mr. Andy Dallas is a great wonderful guy and very helpful! Highly recommend to anyone!

There is no other place where you can find 15 foot stuffed gorilla, grim reapers and mermaid! There’s lots of small toys, too. Great place for party favors. Our grandkids want to go here whenever they visit. Fun place!

Year round costume store.... whats not to love. Huge selection. Only downfall is limited parking. But it never stops me from going.

Called ahead to find a particular wig for my daughters Halloween costume. The worker was courteous, promptly went to look for the wig, came back stating they had multiple options, offered to place on on hold for me, and was friendly and upbeat the entire time we spoke on the phone. Once I arrived at the store, I was pleasantly surprised at the unique appearance of the exterior. Inside, I found a huge variety of costumes and accessories. Multiple staff members were readily available and accessible. It was easy to navigate the store and find items I needed. The store was bright and not overly crowded.

I could live here. I dropped by a few times in the past month to pick up supplies for building animatronic president props for the Sibley Sparkling Shuffle 5k held every July 3rd. I picked up a few severed hands, hat, eyebrows, costume... all to be put to good use. One of these days, I would love to come back and buy enough goodies here to make a spooky dungeon room or spooky haunted study.

Always a treat! Or a trick? Depends how you look at it, but a nice time looking at all they have to offer in the way of costumes and accessories. A fantastic feast for the senses!

Amazing Experience! Im a 6 2 man dressing as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz for Halloween (long story), and they didnt even flinch when I asked if I had size 12 Ruby Slippers in back. Sadly they didnt since they only went up to a 10, but they let me try on the 10s regardless and they fit! In addition to that they were constantly asking me if I needed anything, and helped me find everything on my list, and more. They even helped me find a theatrical quality Dorothy Wig from there extensive wig/makeup wall! The cashier knew what she was talking about when it came to the products they sold, and even offered advice about buying make-up (especially Ben Nye) in person due to the amount of fraud online with make-up/costume products. Overall an amazing experience. I will be going back some time to pick up a pair of Ruby Slippers. Have an amazing Halloween Dallas & Co. I am beyond impressed by the dedication exerted by your employees to make sure I have everything I need to make this the best Halloween yet! I also spotted a simply gorgeous Cinderella wig, looks like I know where Im going come next October. Thank You.

Amazing experience for my daughters. The owner is a magician and showed one of my daughters some tricks and made recommendation about various magic tools. On this day and age, where else would you get such a friendly and welcoming store? I would not mind paying double for such type of service and genuine friendliness (Prices were not more expensive than other stores or even the web).I hope you guys will be around for another few decades.

I love this gem of a store! This is clearly the passion project of the owner, and it sports large sections of costumes for purchase or for rent, party supplies, special effects makeup, and a whole restricted-access section of magic show props (theyll escort you in and help you, like a librarian in a rare books room). Need an Indiana Jones-style bullwhip? You can select it from an entire small section of costume-prop whips and crops. Need a life-size toy chameleon? Yes, I found it here. Want to rent a mascot costume? You got it. Keep an eye out for the old movie props decorating the store, and if you dont find the 12-foot animatronic gorilla yourself, ask a clerk. Perhaps the best unique thing about life in Champaign-Urbana.

This is great place for costumes at one point, but this was not that time.. and Ive been shopping there since I was little, but this last experience was horrible. They sell returned items and then blame the new customer for any flaws it may have.Yes you heard me right. I ended up grabbing a death costume and out of the bag it had what looks to be real/fake blood at the very bottom or makeup of some sort. I got this right before they closed ther other day.So I called them asap when I saw this but no one picked up.Knowing they had an answering machine I kept trying until I got their answering machine..told them Id be there when they opened the next day, and I was.So I went in and asked if they had gotten my message, and the lady said she had no idea what I was talking about...So I showed her what was wrong with the purchase and asked if they had another.She didnt want to help me at all. Very unknowable of everything n the store which was disheartening.So I told her what happened and then she blamed me saying it was my fault and I shouldve looked closer when I tried it on in the (very dark) fitting rooms.She then proceeded to tell me no returns like 8 times in a row, and I had told her I just wanted an even exchange.Then she finally goes to the wall and checks through everything I looked through already and said : we dont have another one...And so again I politely asked if she could order one before halloween, but before I could, she was back in the back on the phone to the owner.She came back to the front after about 5 min. A line had formed...So I when I got up to the counter again, I asked if I could find something else and then get the difference back in cash.The lady at first said it wasnt an issue, but then as fast as she said I could do that, she retracted .I wouldnt get cash back for the difference, its have to be a in-store credit...Now, that being said I wouldnt have had an issue, but since I cosplay and make most all of my costumes , I really have zero reason to shop here. It was just a shot in the dark that I didnt have time to finish my costume in time with said material and look.BUT....as I stood in line and wanted to make sure I heard her correctly I was looking at the return policy...Which clearly said no returnsat the bottom of my receipt, and I was super cool about that, because I needed an exchange, not a return..but with the woman not even looking up to see if she could order another one in stock for me, she immediately blamed me for a costume that had been returned and put back on the shelf damaged before I bought it. It looked like it had been sitting on their hook over a year...At this point I asked her nicely again why she couldnt exchange for a cheaper costume and then give me my money back for the difference, because there is ZERO saying they cant do that. But as soon as I brought that up to her she looks down and starts doing other things...like walk away....Now the gentleman that opened the dressing room for me was awesome. Super nice and was surprised at the womans responses as well.-------------I gave them 1 star not because of the service I got from them. They broke their own rules and sold a costume then that person returned it with stuff on it, and they put it back on the shelf and charged 45 bucks for it.That goes against their own policy 110%.I apologize to all everyone that goes into that store and has a horrible experience. And to all that read this long winded post. But Im getting tired of paying a ton of money for things (anywhere) and getting horrible service.This store is about convenience now. if the other Halloween party store runs out of stock , Dallas and Co. Knows they will get your business. But I HIGHLY suggest you look online. Tons cheaper and way more lenient and more friendly when it comes to guest services.Oh and the woman said that Harry Potter has died out....uh huh....smh lolAnyway, I hope this helps anyone thats curious.. =^_^=

Neato place!This place is just cool. Weather its Halloween or not, this place has lots of cool thing youd never know you needed. If youre dressing up or maybe putting on a show, this a great place for costumes. Theres also some sweet art all around the building. Going here is a real treat, for people of all ages.Even if you dont need anything here, I would suggest entering the shop for the experience of it.

I came back in to return my costume I bought less than 24 hours ago. I had not worn it. Still new in the original packaging and the same bag the store gave me yesterday. I spend way too much money on it and decided to buy a cheaper costum from a different store. When I purchased my costum the sales lady did not mention one time there was a no return policy. She did not state it was on the receipt, and the counter was covered so the sign was not visible. Also, just because your store has been open for 40+ years does not mean anything to someone who is new to your store and does not know your policy. Now they will only offer me in store credit. The manager said the costume smelled of perfume. Odd since I had never worn the costume in the last 19 hours. He claimed his clients would want new products. So by him telling me my costume I just purchased was used, he was telling me I bought a nasty used costume from his store and he would not accept it back. I have never shop here before. And I most certainly will never come back to this store

This is a really resourceful place for all types of skeletons, Frankensteins, Zombie doctors, sketches and big spiders. They have a myriad of costumes and party products to choose from. I needed Helium cylinders and it was there. Haloween? Unofficial? Independence day? You name it and they will have something for sure. They also have lots of replicas of antique weapons. The price of products ir very reasonable. However those mummies and zombies are a bit expensive. I give it four stars because I felt very uncomfortable walking around life size zombies and skeletons :P

This only gives me a chance to rate it a 5. I would rate it a 6 on the Budweiser Scale. Because that is how many Clydesdale Horses it usually takes to pull me out of there. Andy & Co. are great at what they do, and they are willing to go overboard to help every customer. Not because it is all about the $$$ (which is part of it of course), its because they genuinely like people. They want to help people. Andy loves magic so much that he entertains himself as much as he does the customers. Just to see a smile. I literally watched for almost an hour teaching a 10 yr old boy the cup and balls routine. Not because he had to, but because he loves too! Andy wants there to be kids learning magic now so they will be the magicians of our future. Thanks Andy. I can only continue to do the magic Ive learned to repay you for what youve done for all of us. PSThis is not a Memorial Tribute to a great magician. He still lives. However, If you would like to use it when that time comes, I would be honored... I also will give you a discount on my usual writing fees! HAHA
