Paige was AMAZING. I have unfortunately bounced from stylist to stylist over the last few years, avoiding the chair even because I never felt like i got what I wanted or paid for. But not this time. Paige listened to what I wanted and made magic happen. She even made me feel incredibly comfortable with the huge change I was making. ( cut at least 4-6 inches off after growing it for years!) she talked to me the whole time and conversation was very easygoing and not forced like other places can be. You can tell she genuinely enjoys helping people look their best! I walked out into a bad storm, but I felt like a million bucks!! I feel like I’ve finally found THE ONE. I’ll never sit in another stylists chair again. Thank you Paige!

Started coming here during Covid. I appreciate their caution and safety protocols. Allison is fabulous! She worked with me to find perfect cut and color process. She was patient and professional. I highly recommend this salon.

I bounced around from stylist to stylist at other salons in other towns until I found Paige Sickler at Rod Sickler Salon & Spa. She always makes me feel a million times better when I walk out than when I came in, and I never leave disappointed. She listens to what I ask for and then makes magic happen! Rod and his staff are the most professional staff I have ever experienced in a hair salon. They are all so positive and caring to all who walk in their doors. Scheduled a same-day appointment for 6pm with Madison, who was referred to me by a friend. Went in for a cut and ended up staying over 3 hours getting a cut and highlights. Both turned out beautiful and Madison was so helpful and professional! She worked with me to get my highlights done even though my appointment went past my scheduled time to make sure I was happy. Would definitely recommend to a friend and Ill be returning!

I can’t say enough about my stylist, Kacie! She ‘gets’ me and really strives to hear what I want. Kacie is personable as well as a skilled colorist and stylist. Rod’s Salon is clean and and the atmosphere is friendly! They carry cosmetics as well as the best skincare around! I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Miriam, nail tech, is absolutely amazing! I recommend her to any and everyone looking for a quality nail service. She has done acrylics that have left my nails healthy and strong, absolutely no damage or painful drill ridges. I am wearing gel nail polish now on my natural nail and have had no issues with breakage. She is also fantastic with nail art/designs. Definitely check her out and tell her Maria sent you!

I went with a friend who had an appt and decided to get my hair trimmed and nails done. Paige trimmed my hair and was amazing. I watched Miriam do another ladys nails before me and they were amazing and it was the best experience Ive ever had getting a manicure. I will definitely be back for these and the other services they offer.

I had only been to this place once about 20y ago. I had an experience & decided it just was not for me. About 2y ago, I recieved a gift card with a substantial amount on it but was looking to give it away. 2w ago, I came across it in a drawer. In desperate need of some specialized services & talking to a few good friends, I broke down, & made an appt.WELL, IM ECSTATIC THAT I DID! Amy Burns single-handedly change my complete attitude & perception of that salon. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist & upon checking in, she happened to be standing there. Her aura & disposition were relaxing & that set my mind at ease. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, & personable. I enjoyed her professionalism so much I scheduled all my appts before I left. She truly is an asset to your salon & spa. (Shes The😁Main reason for The 5 ⭐ rating)

Rod and his team are incredible. They are pricey, but it is well worth it. You always know you will be very well taken care of and your expectations will be exceeded by lightyears. I wont, and will never let anyone else but Rod and his stylists touch my hair. You get what you pay for people!

First time I went there my stylist was amazing. When I went back she was gone. Highlight and lowlights were sub par. The cut was okay. I could have done the same thing at home.

Overpriced and coloring had to be fixed with multiple appointments. Kate was my stylist and she was very sweet, but I was very disappointed that she couldnt balayage my hair correctly. It came out very streaky and chunky, instead of feathered and blended. I assumed that a level 4 professional would be able to do this, but it had to be corrected multiple times to something that I didnt initially ask for. I ended up dying my whole head to cover up the mistakes.I have naturally black hair but Ive seen many dark-haired with ash blonde balayage. My hair is already balayaged but my roots were very overgrown. The first appointment she colored my hair and gave me a trim. The bleaching job was subpar and I was also charged for a full haircut at $53... She trimmed by bangs and my ends, which took less than 5 mins. I could have easily trimmed my hair myself. I asked to return for a correction and came back that night. She darkened my roots to blend it more. It looked better but still not what I wanted. The salon was closing so I decided to just sleep on it. I came in the next day to fix it again.I told her to just dye the entire head because there was no way my roots were going to come out blended from this point. I ended up becoming a complete blonde... Although I do like the coloring, I am not happy because my roots are going to grow back black. The whole point of the balayage is so when my hair grows, it looks natural. I was charged $25 for the mini lift which is totally understandable, but then the receptionist charged me an additional $10 for a friggin blow dry... Like what. I have never been to a salon where they charge you to blow dry your hair and I wasnt charged this fee the other day. I checked their pricing online for this special treatment and of course it isnt listed on their menu. I feel as though she just charged me because I finished way later than their closing time. If I knew I was going to be charged for dry hair I would have just left after the rinse and shampoo.TLDR; I spent a grand total of 11 hours and $230 within 3 appointments for a color style that I didnt ask for. I feel bad because Kate was very sweet, but I am disappointed that this advanced salon couldnt execute the balayage technique. I am even more pissed off about these hidden fees. If you plan on getting a balayage or any other unique effect, save your time and money for a salon with stylists that are certified Wella master colorist experts. You will end up paying the same amount.
