My Issue with this place is they Advertise Hybrids Professional, But what they are not saying is they only fix on Toyotas and LexLeHybrid! False Advertising!!! I can understand you only want to fix on Toyotas Engine, because that is the type of motor in Lexis

These guys are great. Ive been taking my cars to them since before Atlanta Hybrid Repair existed when I had my trusty lil Corolla. You get dealer level knowledge and experience for a fraction of the price. Its a bonus that the people here are very nice too.

The team was able to get me in quickly. They provided a thorough pre-purchase inspection and to provide with the technical advice I needed to make my decision. I have been going there for 6 plus years. Their services: car and customary are spectacular. They listen and take the time to discuss matters upfront. I had a problem with my tag screw thread being distorted. My tag was hanging funny. They even also fixed that when I pointed it out to them. Wow!

I called and talked to Robbie to make sure they would be able to service my Chevy Volt (check engine light) Robbie assured me that they should be able to do the repair and scheduled an appointment. Got my car back in 2 days, they fixed it by repairing a failed sensor, code was cleared and I was told to follow up with them if I had any issues.Two weeks later the code is back, I called and spoke with Robbie, explained the situation and he mentioned that the tech that serviced my vehicle (Kenny) was no longer working at the shop, they could take a look at it and probably, I will have to take it to the dealership. It would have been nice to know this before spending $284 just to clear the code for two weeks. I scheduled an appointment for next week and will update this review after this visitUpdate after visit: Very happy with the way this situation unfolded, received a full refund and will definitely recommend this shop, honest and very professional team

Atlanta Hybrid does a top quality job at an economical price. The team knows their business. They will only do the work necessary at the time, and not try to oversell their services. They warn when something could become a problem, and give you a timeframe by when they think it should be addressed. The team is professional and friendly too. Courteous, convenient, honest, and affordable! One headlight on my Prius was out. I figured it could be anything. Dealership quoted several hundred dollars. Brought it into Atlanta Hybrid Repair instead. Went to pick it up and when he told me the cost, my jaw dropped. Then I realized he was telling it to me in dollars and cents. Less than $30 out the door. I was stunned, and really appreciated the honesty after I had pre-authorized almost ten times that for the repair. Hard to find such honest repair folks these days!

Robbie was great! Toyotechs referred me to them for a pre-sale check on my new Toyota. Robbie explained everything they found and even said follow-up with them if i had any issues. Just awesome customer service, timeliness and quality work.

The battery of our 2006 Prius started to go at 128K miles. One day the warning lights came on and the car just started to go slower and slower and slower until we were barely able to go 20 mph. Pulled over and had it towed to Toyota dealership who told us the entire battery had to be replaced and it would cost $3450. Since the blue book value of the car is less than that we felt trapped. Luckily after some desperate googling we found Hybrid Battery Repair and the wonderful Chad. Chad was available to drive across town from his location to our home in Smyrna the very next day. I stood outside with him and watched him do the entire repair. He was friendly, down to earth and actually willing to explain to me what he was doing as he was doing it because I was truly curious about the process and how the hybrid battery worked and what to expect in the future as other cells in the battery started to go. Feel extremely lucky to have had access to this incredibly smart, sweet man when I was in such a tight spot. His $599 price is a bargain compared to Toyota Dealership and other repair places hawking refurbished batteries. If your hybrid battery is on its way out - Call him ! You absolutely wont regret it. We are very lucky to have this great guy and his extremely fair pricing in the Atlanta area. Thank you again, Chad !

2 thumbs way up. They stay quite busy but allowed me to leave my car on a Friday afternoon for a Monday appointment, so I didnt have to miss work to get it in. Took on my old car and did a great job. Fast and efficient for routine maintenance & oil change when you have an appointment. This was my second visit here, for routine maintenance, inspection, & oil change only, and Ive had no negative experiences so far. The charge for this service seems reasonable although I dont do a lot of price comparison checking, so Im not sure how their rates compare, but I do know that they are so so so much faster than the dealerships, and they did not try to sell me brakes before I actually need them. I will be going back again. On another note, Jeff is very good looking, which doesnt hurt.

I highly recommend! A Toyota dealership tried to charge me $1,000+ to fix an oil leak they said I had...when I went to Atlanta Hybrid Repair they told me I didn’t have an oil leak but instead whoever gave me an oil change last put the wrong cap on and left it off, all I needed was an oil change! I had other minor things to be fixed altogether was $193. So glad I didn’t trust Toyota and decided to look elsewhere for a more reasonable price. Turns out I needed honesty as well. What a relief to know that the person servicing your car knows what theyre talking about, isnt bluffing, or worse, not telling the truth. The team here is honest and smart. Highly recommend them.

The best. Been going to them for years and they never do anything that you do not need. I keep asking them to check the brakes on my wifes car and they keep saying they are fine. Where else can you go knowing that they will never oversell you on automobile repair needs. Would recommend them to anyone who needs service on either a hybrid or non-hybrid.

Excellent service for my hybrid. They took care of the issue explained what else I should listen for and the cost was much better than the dealership. I used to only take my hybrids to the dealership but this shop is now my go to shop.

These guys are top notch. Im most familiar with Kenny who keeps you up to date, lets you know the cost and makes sure your car is safe before you leave. Ive been an AHR customer for five years and change and in all that time theyve been consistently ethical and professional.On multiple occasions theyve talked me out of doing things to the car that I thought it needed but it really didnt. Any shop that defers work for logical reasons is a shop you need to keep coming back to. Theres no surer sign of honesty and integrity--whens the last time a dealer ever hesitated to upsell (evilest word in the automotive lexicon) you anything at anytime?

The team at Atlanta Hybrid Repair is the best. I trust them fully. Any time Ive had questions, needed a repair, or requested additional services, they are the first to tell me I dont need to do something I requested. They supported my 2003 Prius through 255,000 miles, and are currently maintaining my 2013 Prius now over 100,000 miles.

They do non-hybrids too! This was recommended by Toyo Tech so I thought Id give them a try. Got an oil change appointment for the next day. In and out in under 40 minutes. Nice clean waiting area with free wifi. They inspected everything and fixed a tire that had a nail in it that I didnt even know about. Very happy with them. Will be returning.

Love this place, had to get the head gasket replaced on my girlfriends 07 Civic Hybrid.. needless to say an expensive fix. Took me two weeks to have the money ready to give them but they were extremely patient in worked with me in every aspect.

For any problems with my Prius (they are few and far between) I have it towed from an hour away to see these guys.I had a big problem a couple years ago and NO ONE in the Athens area could diagnose the problem. These guys got it figured it out and 1 new transmission later I was set. The dealer wanted to replace the hybrid battery first! So glad I brought it to them for a second opinion and they will be the first place I drop it off going forward.

Went to these guys about 2 years ago and they charged me $100 just to read the codes, even though I can get that done for free at an Autozone etcetera. I recently called because my check engine light came on again and thought I might give them another chance but the guy on the phone was totally rude and told me he couldnt help me. Generally a very pretentious attitude. I would not recommend going here. Their hybrid batteries are wildly overpriced.

Less expensive than the dealership. Has more confidence in dealing with hybrids compared to the dealership. Fixed the problem right the first time. Took my opinions and requests seriously. Promptly answered my eMailed questions. Even at an hour away, the trip is worth it.

Unprofessional and actually, kind of rude.Lets start, Ive been taking my Little prius up here for a couple years now. Ive gotten oil changes (when they actually will do it). Ive had some water pump stuff fixed, I thought they were great.Moving forward, my car was making a weird nose. Finally got an appointment (which is like pulling teeth). Brought the car in got the oil changed and had the noise looked at. Its a wheel bearing cool. Got a quote from Toyotechs for over 500.00. Not that bad okay.I started talking to a friend about it and he said he could do the repair for me since its a pretty basic repair. AWESOME!!Flash forward to today, its been a while since then and Ive been trying to get an appointment for yet another oil change and to get my ac system looked at. I have been trying to get this appointment for 4 months now.I thought the place was just super busy, hey I get it.JUST KIDDING. They finally answer and have been in fact, ignoring me. Why you may ask?We are no longer interested in you as a customer because you dont make us any money. You had the bearing replaced somewhere else.I really thought this was a joke, but no they are serious. I have never in my life heard of this and this is so unprofessional. Plus they really could have told me this four months ago instead of ignoring my calls and online requests.Greedy, money hungry people.

Jeff and Kenny fixed a problem which I told a local service place, and they went right to it and fixed it.I never realized that hybrid cars were so hard ttho fix, unless you take it to a specialist.Now that I know about them, they should get ALL our service needs.

I took my 2003 Highlander in to replace the headlight assemblies which had become clouded, even after several polishing improvements. I purchase after market units and brought them in for installation. After installation and before it was turned over to me, the technician saw that it the light fuse popped. He found that the sockets of the after market units were the culprit. He then installed the sockets from the old units and it has worked fine, and now I have clear headlight covers. Jeff and his team were excellent in quickly discovering the problem, and I was not charged for the extra time it took to diagnose and resolve the problem or pay for the fuses which were burned out. As with its sister repair facility, the team at Atlanta Hybrid Repair did an excellent job.

I trust these guys big-time with our 2006 Prius (and their non-hybrid Toyotechs shop that works on our 2005 Solara convertible and many before it). I have always known them to give honest advice, including when I can do without some work. Between the two, I have saved thousands over the years due to not having to do things that others said had to be done.

Went in for the first time today on the recommendation af a friend. I was very happily surprised. The service techs were knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I understood what was going on. No attempts to sell me something I didnt need and gave me a heads up on what and when to expect service in the future.Awesome customer service guys. Definitely my new choice for my Prius service needs.

It pains me to write a negative review for this place, as I’ve been a satisfied customer of their parent shop, ToyoTechs, for 8 years. The thing that I’ve always liked is how genuine and honest they are, and how they always seem to have my best interest in mind. Today, however, they refused to use a headlight bulb I’d purchased elsewhere, demanding I purchase the part from them (and for triple the price I’d already paid). The reason given was that other customers had left negative reviews for them after they had used a customer’s part and the part had failed. To me, this is a flimsy excuse that seems more appropriate as a way of maximizing the shop’s profit on part markup than ensuring satisfied customers. And I worry that this marks some sort of shift in the owners’ or management’s relationship with their customer base. I have recommended ToyoTechs over and over to my friends and neighbors over the years unreservedly, but now I can no longer do so.UPDATE: The owner responded to my review, and seems to have doubled down on their policy while simultaneously providing false information about our interaction. This itself seems to indicate a disrespect for customers that I find troubling.Atlanta Hybrid Repair did not inform me at the time that the bulb I provided was somehow inferior, as claimed in the response. This is likely because the bulb was, in fact, an OEM-spec Phillips bulb in industrial packaging, the same as the shop would have offered.Moreover, if AHR replaced my tag bulbs, free of charge (and without telling me), it seems they knocked a wire loose, as when I arrived home, the tag lights werent functioning, and I replaced those bulbs, too, thinking that they mustve burned out.Further--and I did not bring this up in my original review--the cost of labor cited on this job was itself heavily marked up. It took ten minutes for me, a novice, to remove the front light assembly and replace the bulb myself, once I learned how to do so on the Internet. AHR cited $40 for labor. That means that they must believe their mechanicss time is worth $240/hr--over twice the going rate in Atlanta.

You guys keep my hybrid Toyota prius like new .... thanks. Of course I dont go anywhere else , for the big stuff. That would be crazy.

I have finally found a place to take my car where I feel comfortable and at ease knowing that my car is in good hands. I took my car to this shop this morning to get a few things worked on. I was so impressed with the employees and the business overall. The waiting room was clean and comfortable and had Wi-Fi. They were incredibly professional and very knowledgeable. In the future this will be the only place that I take my car to for all maintenance and repair needs. Thank you Atlanta Hybrid for your phenomenal customer service!! Great Job!!!

I took my Prius to Atlanta Hybrid Repair and they wouldnt fix it because it was under recall. They could have replaced the part and charged me almost $1000 but they chose to keep my best interests ahead of theirs. Not only did they tell me about the recall notice, they printed a copy of the form letter I should have gotten in the mail and told me to make sure I asked for a free rental car!I appreciate the honesty and integrity that they showed that day. The next time my Prius needs work, they will be the ones to do the repair work (unless they can save me more money!).

They also service Nissan & Infiniti cars in addition to just Hybrid. I wouldnt trust my car with anyone else. Ive lived in Atlanta my whole life and never had great experiences with any car shop. ToyoTechs & Atlanta Hybrid became clients of mine, after seeing how things operated there behind the scenes, I can assure you that this place is completely honest and extremely knowledgeable.

Great place to take my Infiniti. I took my Toyotas to ToyoTechs down the street for many years--same owner. I favor mechanics that specialize in brands (eg Far East for my Honda). They also have a good car detailing guy so I sometimes schedule that too. The front door can be tough to spot along busy Peachtree Industrial.

Fantastic place. Professional, fairly priced and trustworthy. Ive been taking my cars to them for over a decade, first at their ToyoTechs division and now here since I purchased a Prius.

RESPONSE TO OWNER: I had an appointment for the warning light issues of 10am. The information this person is commenting on was a different day. On that first day I was checking out several shops for an AC issue. I did drop in for information only that day. I never meet the person who wrote the reply, so he is getting his information third hand, and it is incorrect. The funny thing is that when I was checking this shope out that first day, they gave me the same line of we would need to keep your car for 2 days.The folks at Cornerstone Automotive acutally determined the AC issue during the same visit to resolve the warning light issue. Like I said before Cornerstome solved my warning light problem, that mechanic took time to talk with me, and provide me with the information on what was going on with my AC. So if you want to waste money stay with these folks. I never said they dont know their stuff, but the treamtne I got showed me that profit was more important than good customer service.Original Post: I went in for check eng/warning lights going on and off creating all kinds of issues with windows controls, AC, and more. The guy at the counter told me the Mechanic wanted 2 hours to review the issues. I was hoping to talk with the mechanic since the warning lights went on and off under different conditions. I even had photos to show the different configurations. I decided to wait around to have the conversation and find out what was the next course of action. I arrived at 10, the mechanic took the car in at 10:30, by 11 the mechanic parked the car outside. The counter guy told code me codes where cleared out and they wanted to keep the car for 2 days. Since the issue showed up during the heat of the day I offered to drive the car until the they showed up. This was not acceptable to them. I asked if the mechanic was going to come out and talk to me, and was told no. The treatment over all was rude and dismissive of my concerns. I left with my car and found a garage willing to offer me customer service. So if you want great service and great knowledge about hybrids, and all vehicles go to Cornerstone Automotive. The Cornerstone mechanic solved all my problems and talked with me about the issues I was experiencing. There solution, including talking with me, only took 45 minutes, not 2 days.

I always receive great service at this place.

Have just had another fabulous service experience at AHR. I was very happy with the service work they did on my 2005 Prius that I had bought last year. I liked the car so much, decided to buy a newer one (2012). Just did the pre-purchase inspection with Kenny. I am so impressed with the thoroughness, thoughtfulness, cleanliness, and honesty of this shop. They got me in and out exactly in the time scheduled. It is well worth it for me to drive all the way from Decatur.

They must be doing a lot of business because they were rude and didnt care for my business. I had an appointment to get my card diagnosed [check engine light was on]. When I got to the shop, they said I would have to leave the car for them to diagnose. I was very frustrated that they didnt tell me when I made the appointment that I would have to leave the car. I insisted that since I was there they should atleast plug in the computer to check cause of the problem; so I could figure out if the car was safe to drive. Two people initially said they will check it, then one of them went back talked to someone and came back and said. Sorry, Boss says, we dont really want to check your car.I ended up wasting 2 hours of work time that I did not get paid for going to this place and then driving back to work in peak rush hour traffic from Lilburn to Norcross to Decatur [all I 285 at 9am]. Would not recomend this place as they dont care about anyones safety but themselves.

Good service did job on time

I appreciate their professionalism. I have a modified plug-in Toyota Prius (as purchased from Clark Howard since he went 100% electric with the Tesla Model S). The car is great and ToyoTechs have taken good care of it. ToyoTechs is diligent, fair, and willing to listen in order to get a true understanding of whatever is the situation. To me its important that the service provider have aptitude along with a good attitude. Toyotechs combines both to deliver excellent service (I also posted this review under Yelp).
