Person or appt with did not show up that day, person we met with instead was not very courteous, was NOT told in advance that ID would be required to file with them (my license had expired two weeks before my appt with them-to which I was unaware of until that time& was therefore invalid/unable to file while there-) and I live 40min away-COMPLETELY inconvenient!-, only one person in their office/building and therefore was/felt rushed through the whole process-a matter of only 10min-. In addition to all of that, the info I provided for overdue taxes from last year that hasnt been filed was completely overlooked and not included at all even though I presented it to her 3 separate times within that 10min. as well as receipts that I had for deductions for my occupation such as gas, tools, work shoes/clothes, etc. never being added into my tax information either. Overall, I would not recommend them-or at least not their chambersburg office anyway-. I went to their Waynesboro office two or three times before years ago and had AMAZING service there and decided to go back this year bc of the service being so excellent back then -I filed my own taxes in the years in between- and even recommended them to a friend whos appt was directly after mine but I was TRULY EMBARRASSED for recommending them after the service that we received... Only one of us ended up actually having our appt that day due to lack of staffing and low quality of service, unfortunately neither of us ended up even filing through them once everything was said n done with. 🤦🏼‍♂️ Smh. Sincerely disappointed with h&r block in Chambersburg... Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to file.
