I always get my eyebrows waxed here so that’s why I am giving 3 stars but this is the first and last time I get my upper lip waxed here! The technician who waxed my upper lip burned me. My skin on the corner of my lips is peeling and hurts so frikin bad when I try to open my mouth and eat! Then she put alcohol or peroxide on the places she waxed before they always uses some kind of lotion and I think that made it burn even more. This ruined my vacation I’m so upset about this experience!

I have been going there for a while, but today I was not very pleased with the comment that I had received from the person, whose name is Helen, I was always giving her a tip of $5.00 but today I paid for my services and gave her a $2.00 tip because I never had any more cash with me and she came and told me not to come and see her anymore for any services, this is not what I call being a professional in any way. This business is a great place and the other employees are very nice and courteous. Well, I will not be coming to see her anymore, for someone to approach a customer like that is not professional.

This was my first time going with them and I couldn’t be happier. She used the picture I sent her and my nails came out exactly like the picture. She even photographed her work when she was done. This place was so clean and nice. Good vibes and great service. I will definitely be returning and using them from now on. I would recommended Modern Nails by Kylie to anyone looking to get there nails done in pretty much any design or style you are looking for. She can even do designs off the top of her head and it still comes out beautiful and perfect.

This place’s customer service is horrible. You make an appointment hours in advance just to go in and sit for 45 minutes to an hour after your appointment time. Then the job is poorly done. This is not my first time with a bad experience from them, I will not be going back. Spend my money elsewhere for sure.

Disrespectful and charges you according to their own invisible menu. I asked him to trim my cuticles (because they were frayed from the circle file) and he replied $20 more. Mind you Im already paying $90 for a regular set. I asked why is it extra when its a normal part of a manicure. He replied do it yourself then & walked off to start somebody elses hands. No washing nothing. In the end it was $160 (for short ombre nails!) I paid $140 & left im never going back to be disrespected or changed on a whim by this place.

I made an appointment with Hai at 2:30. I waited an hour for him and then at 3:30 he took another client whos appointment was at 2. Every time I tried to talk to someone yall had an attitude and it made me uncomfortable so I left. I drove all the way from Slidell. I am extremely disappointed.

T & Cindy do great work, and they both are very pleasant. And, theres a nice lady that does the pedicures. Not sure of her name, but I like her too. I enjoy going there! 🥰

I’d been going for a while but was dissatisfied to say the least. Shoddy work and bad customer service plus hidden ‘charges’ I was only told about during check out made me livid by the time I walked out the door. I definitely got the bad apple this time.

They absolutely messed up my nails and the lady was so rude. I wish I knew her name but I didn’t even ask. My nails are clearly poorly done. I really don’t suggest going here. It was overall such a terrible and stressful experience :(

I went to the salon today with my mom to get our nails done and we love the results. I previously visited Modern Nailz for a pedicure and I received a punch card. I wanted to know why I didn’t receive a punch on my card for our services today?

Service was great I would have liked a little better foot massage I remember coming before and foot massage with pedicure was awesome the girl actually massages the bottoms of my feet and it was the best relaxation ever

When I walked in no one greeted me but there was a Caucasian woman that walked in shortly and she was greeted immediately , this has occurred twice. I asked for coffin shaped nails and the gentleman that did my nails did a not so good job. This will definitely be my last Time as a patron of this salon !!!

I have been going to this nail shop for years. The quality of their workhas gotten bad since new management. It hasnt been two weeks and three of my nails have popped off. SMH! I spent too much money on my nails and an extra $15 dollars on gel polish for this to be happening. They always rush doing your nails too.
