Not sure why this post office has lower rating... Maybe because theyre often busy? Ive had great experiences here, the staff is friendly and they take the time to answer questions. For me its been one of the better branches Ive been to in NOVA.Update: Visited post office after writing this post...I had Brenton today to mail my package, and he was nice and informative. I was surprised to read other negative reviews about him. Ive found that a little respect and an friendly hello goes a long way. To anyone who has trouble with a rude person, next time try a hello and ask how their day is.

Consistently loses my mail with no way to contact them directly

My last 3 priority mail packages were sitting at this post office for 1 week before the transit started. I had to open the cases to get them to move the packages.

One of the only post offices that actually answers their phone. Very nice lady helped answer my questions as to why a letter wasn’t being delivered and being returned to sender. Thank you guys for being professional and helpful. We definitely need more post offices like this around the country!!

Very helpful, attentive and kind folks work here. They work hard and rarely make mistakes and the one time they did, they looked into it and made up for it. I appreciate their service.

Good service, but long line.

It’s very good place ,cleaning and neat .A young lady who works here is very friendly and Very patient.Her smile is sweet ,and she looks like a angel.

The people were extremely nice and helpful when I went. The customer areas were clean and well organized. I deducted stars because the doors are inaccessible for those on wheels. I have a stroller so I can manage but if I were using a wheelchair, Im not sure how I would get in. Cmon USPS, we can do better!

Metered flat, returned for additional postage, perfect meeting all usps socialist criteria. Bad post office....bad. No tracking, rancid service. Tracked item...all of a sudden everything gets delivered. Back to school please...or back to training??? Both? Maybe try not to be lazy and then also contrive reason not to deliver?

Learn to deliver packages to the right address. This is the 5th time my package has said it’s been delivered and it’s not even here so fix this or else

I have been coming to this post for more than 10 years. All the other employees are very friendly and helpful but one man, Brenton.Last year around this time the employee Brenton helped me out and I was disgusted by his rudeness.Yet, again today 03/27/19, I got stuck with Brenton and as the same as last time, he was extremely rude today too.NOT only was he rude but I went in at 12pm and it took him 36minutes, to finish helping me out.

On Saturday they said my first (of two) packages were delivered to my apartment (which I didnt receive). On Sunday the second package (from the same order delivered separately), said they couldnt find my address. Monday I called this office, and they told me the driver took the second package to the Chantilly office and I have to wait an extra 2 days for them to transfer it back to the correct office, then deliver it to my apartment. Monday I also got my first package at my work address instead. Their incompetence is awe-inspiring.

We once had a decent delivery driver, but she left. This week we had a driver who left our outgoing mail in our box, then when I met him at the box today and handed him the item, he handed it back to me. I told him it was outgoing. Then he handed me my neighbors mail. Unbelievable.

This is the 2nd time Ive paid extra for two day shipping and didnt get my item on time. Both times Ive had to file a complaint before I got my package delivered. I was suppose to get a package Thursday but they attempted delivery at 8pm on Friday but they couldnt access front door/mailbox? Thats weird because my normal mail was in the mailbox by 2pm the same day. Ive been inside this post office a few times and have had no issues, staff is courteous and patient.

I have had poor mail delivery consistently over the last 21 years. I continually get other people’s mail and they are getting mine. I just was expecting a package to be delivered and just Friday I received N email it was “Delivered in/at mailbox” to discover that it wasn’t delivered at my mailbox nor placed on my front porch. I am now going to try to see if they are going to be able to find it. I mean REALLY!!!! This is awful. The people working the counter, the Asian female is especially rude I find when I go there. I try to not go there. I wish that ‘service would just improve overall. We deserve to get our mail.

I have now lost 4 packages that came through this post office. Flat rate boxes are constantly not stocked in the self service area. I just recently called about a package that was marked undeliverable as addressed even though I have pictures of said package with my address written legibly and correctly on the label, they took my information and tracking info and said I would be receiving a call... That was a week ago.

At one time this location had two drop boxes but not any more. Now they have only one drop box and it is either full or not working. I would suggest adding another drop box and making sure they are always in working condition.

Passport office: unbelievable it was so fast, they were nice, they helped us, it was awesome. The person that did the passport for us was very friendly. The post office is awesome!

Summary: Go to a different post office if you can!This black guy with moles on his face who works there is really useless and rude, and doesnt even speak properly. Both counters where the paperwork/forms should be were completely empty. So I went to the front desk to ask for the form I needed. He muttered incoherently something like go to the table on the end (the one that had no forms) and you gotta buy a pack of two labels. I think he tried to sell us the forms. When I explained there were none he simply repeated himself like a tape recorder. The third time he added quite proudly to his original response: Ill say it again gotothetableattheendanyougottabuyapacko2label. How is this guy still employed? Ill never know. We had enough and simply left.I decided to go to another post office in Fairfax because of this idiot. The one on 10660 Page Ave, Fairfax, VA 22030 not only had the forms well stocked (and free) at the counters, but there was an guy walking around asking people if they needed help and even offered extra pens.

I know package delivery driver have off days where they dont feel like delivery in some homes and etc.. but at least make an attempt. Got an email saying they attempted to deliver our package around 10:30am. Only issue is weve been opened since 8am and have not seen one driver show up. Even if we were to busy 1. Thr doors open and we have a giant neon open sign thats on. 2. Our driver mustve been new since if we really were closed we have a closet/drop off box for said items.Usually would give a bad rating since the store employees themselves are great but this is the 3rd time a drivers done this and we know its not our regular weekday mailman.

Awful customer service by only one man at this place. His name is Branton. I have been coming here for 9 years and ever since he started working here I try to avoid him at all costs. Today he was exceptionally rude as he THREW my small package back at me across the counter and said fill out customes form . I said I have never filled one out. He said its self explanatory and told me to go fill it out because someone else is in line. If you hate your job then I suggest you go find a new one. Im skipping him from now on. Absolutely disgusting feeling after every interaction.

I go often there and they never restock mailing supplies and when they do it has such a poor selection. The people that works behind the counters is great!!

VERY RUDE. Whenever I went to complain about things, the very first thing they said is not sorry but things sounds like It must be your fault, none of my business. Later, it turned out that it is their fault, still they didnt say sorry. Instead, they EDUCATE me how to make things easier for them.

I found the staff working here to be quite polite and efficient!

This place is a joke. Counter staffs are OK generally, but other staffs wandering around the lobby, they are really rude. I once dropped a package that I couldnt fit into the drop box. Some staff in the lobby area (no idea what he was doing) he got my package and threw it to the bin about 10 ft away OVER the counter, and said, see? easy! WTH!!! That lady who also wanders around the lobby, she is the one who always refuse to help and rude. Overall, this place is worse than Walmart, too bad this is the only place to go. Oh and dont ask them anything, they will always belittle you and try to EDUCATE you even when you are right.

There is one lady who was extremely rude and unprofessional when dealing with customers who are applying for passports. We will never go there again.

Rather useless after hours, came right after closing for self-service and flat rate boxes were out of stock, printer on the only self service machine was out of service making it useless. Employees should refill and fix machines before leaving for the day, do they have a manager?

The employees who work there are all rude and NOT helpful whatsoever. Tried to make me go next door to the dollar store to get tape to tape on my priority paid label when its free shipping. The worst.

Decent post office, quick and simple service for shipping mail and packages. The line can be long on busy days but come early to avoid the line.

Worst and I mean the worst customer service I have ever dealt with at and USPS location! I drive to the three rivers location because of how horrible there service is!

Good as far as post offices go.

Horrible experience, purchased a money order back in May, shipped Expressed Mail and somehow it got lost in the loops. Now I have to wait 60 more days (its now July) just to even hear back from claims. Never again will I purchase another M.O or ship with them period!! If there was a NO Star (0) I would select that for a rate review!

They really have to train the delivery people because I just had enough of them putting my items in other peoples mailbox or never deliver the item and record as delivered on the tracking. They are the worst ever.

I called this post office to get information on getting a passport. I was on hold for 32 minutes before a staff member assisted my call. When she did, she was not too helpful, basically just telling me to go to the USPS website to schedule an appt. Just poor customer service.

Just came back from applying for my passport, and all I can say that the Customer Service rep (I think her name is Renee) and her supervisor have gone many extra miles for me :-) Words are not enough to thank them!!!

Apparently the grinch that stole Christmas. Package reported as delivered, but its missing. Recipient reports that many presents have gone missing this year.

The personnel are very friendly, BUT the mail delivery is terrible. It comes late in day, and packages are not delivered as scheduled, as when it says out for delivery many, many times it never arrives until a day or two later.

Bad service

Everything you need for correspondence can be found there, in addition, your staff apart from being efficient are very nice, always with a big smile, I have never seen less than three employees serving the users of the system. Cleaning is always. Access is easy as well as finding parking.
