Top notch outfit all around, from the front desk to the hygienist to the assistants and of course Dr. Abel is the absolute best. I am most fortunate to have been under Dr. Abels care since he opened the practice in Centreville. Hes got a surgeons skill to my benefit. In the last intervention, I had to lose molar #31, a major one, and he performed such a fine extraction that I did not even have to take pain killers after the anesthesia dissipated. I highly recommend Dr. Abel for anyones dental care.

Simply enough this is going to be my Family Dentist Center. I went in today as a new patient, looking for a place and they have my business. Not only was the staff polite. Dr Abel is legit. I’ve been coming here for years. Today’s visit with a cleaning from Erica was top notch. This office has cutting edge equipment (used a 3D tooth and gum scanner with no radiation). The front desk is professional, capable and friendly. I came here because Dr. Rena Vakay was here and I knew that she would only work with a team that had her high standards of excellence. I have had serious issues with gum recession and here they stabilized and improved my gum health and they now watch it closely. I have a level ten fear of being numbed for dental work. So many different dentists have tried one thing or another. I either feel like Ive been time traveling after the procedures (and not in a fun way) or my anxiety is just made worse.This was a lovely experience. Every member of the staff was kind, attentive, supportive. My dentist (Dr. Abel) was communicative, laid back, professional, and had a really comforting sense of humor. These are all qualities I feel blessed to encounter when feeling so anxious and uncomfortable.Best dental experience yet. Just for reference, I had a filling put in, tooth prep for a crown, temporary crown placed , a cleaning and x-rays done.

Ive been going to this Dentists office for the better part of 25 years and can honestly say, they are by far the absolute best. There seem to be no limits when it comes to their quality of care, the kindness of their amazing staff, their flexibility, and their ability to provide you with the latest in technology to keep your teeth/mouth as healthy as possible. Whether you see Dr. Abel or Dr. Vakay, (both are fabulous) you can rest easy knowing you wont be told you need procedures you dont need (something thats VERY important to me). We left Centreville in 2019 and moved to Alexandria and although I tried to find a local dentist, none compared, so now I happily drive 40 minutes each way to continue my care plan here. On top of that, they offer Invisalign—which I just got this week!

I had broken my tooth the night before and was in a panic because the tooth was so sharp and it was cutting my tongue. I reached out to Centreville Dental online around 1am to make an appointment and the called me back first thing in the morning and got me in at 9:30 to get checked. They were extremely helpful. I ended up getting a root canal and filling and a temporary cap all before lunch time. The team here is truly special and they made sure I was comfortable and well taken care off.

I came in to Centreville Dental Wellness with a ton of jaw pain and dislocation. I could hardly open my mouth. I woke up with headaches and neck pain from it all. After the Kois I am sleeping better, I am in almost no pain, and my jaw no longer dislocates. The Kois was definitely an investment, but I am so grateful that I decided to do it because it has improved my quality of life!

I started seeing Dr. Vakay about a year ago after I moved to the area and needed a dentist. In addition to my standard cleanings, she and the team have also been a tremendous help to me with my TMJ. I spent years having issues with jaw soreness and popping, and with her guidance weve been able to reduce all my pain and help my jaw feel so much better.

Going to see the dentist during the pandemic was a concern but I was made to feel safe at my recent visit. My family has been going here for years and has had nothing but positive experiences. They clearly care about their patients and the facility, which is clean and modern. They provide several different ways to get reminders before your appointments and make it easy to book your next 6 month appointment. (I had one dentist that didnt, which led to me forgetting all the time.)In this COVID-era, they are doing a good job of making me feel safe, which is more challenging in a dentist office where not only are you mask-free but you literally have people putting their hands in your mouth. They have (and use) all the PPE and now-standard extra cleaning/sterilizing things on top of the regular ones, plus they have medical-grade room sanitizers in each room. They are rated to clean all the air in a room several times the size of each cleaning cubicle at least 2-3 times an hour, so they should easily be able to keep the air clear of viruses even though its recirculated air.I definitely recommend Dr. Able, in particular, since hes the one we see. (Dr. Vakay seems nice too, we just dont see her.)

This was my first appointment at the Centreville Wellness Center. I went in knowing I needed a lot of work done to my teeth. I’ve had two previous bad experiences with dentists I went to. So I was a little nervous about going through the process of getting a new dentist. Dr. Vakay and the staff really care about their patients. I could tell from the way they were attentive and showed compassion. They listened to everything I had to say and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I am so happy that I made the choice to seek a second opinion and walked through their door. I am very particular about my teeth, and when I had to have my first Crown - Dr. Abel just nailed it with the precision of fitting and the superior match of color. He even went the extra length to take a picture of my teeth with his cell phone so that the color could be precisely matched!! The staff are all very friendly, especially Nick. You immediately feel like they are family right when you walk in the door. when my friends tell me they dread going to the Dentist - I refer them to Dr. Abel. I actually enjoy the experience!! Dr Reza provided great service. I had an unpleasant experience with their billing department however. At the time I received services the specific doctor was not in network (he was not licensed in the state of Virginia but in Texas) but their practice was. When the claims were submitted they were processed as out of network. They billed one time the full amount of the services and when I brought it up to their attention, they said not to worry that they would resubmit if something didn’t look right. Almost A year and half later.. they contacted me saying I had a balance due (full balance) and I said that the balance I saw on a statement I received a year ago was incorrect and that they needed to resubmit it and get in contact with my insurance company to correct the out-of -network portion. In addition ... they emailed someone that had worked in their office to pass the word and let me know I had a balance due. Very unprofessional . Thankfully , I work in the benefits department of my employer (very large employer by the way) and I was able to have this resolved. They simply just threatened to send the balance over to collection as they said the contract was between me and my insurance company. Thank you for working with your customers in a timely manner :) .

But no one ever, approached my dental care as comprehensively and fundamentally as Dr. Vakay is doing now.The best part is that, as I am getting the treatment I am also becoming more educated about the details of bite and the importance of its stability to the health and longevity of teeth, gums and jaw joints. I have to agree with the consensus of the other reviewers on a five star rating even though its VERY RARE for me to assign five stars. Over the past couple of years my deaf roommate has required some major dental work. First - I am highly impressed by the way the staff has interacted with him as a patient - he has been treated professionally and the dental assistant Beth, who is assigned to him on each visit has even tried to learn a few words in ASL. She always makes hime feel comfortable and right at home. Second, Dr. Abel used to work in a larger practice and decided he preferred something where he can get to know his patients better. To assist with interpreting in ASL when needed I have sat in the room and personally watched his expertise whether it was crowns or implants. His skills are impeccable. He is the BEST. When a crown was not fitting right, he had it returned twice to the company until it was right. They always leave you with the words - We will make things right. Third, Nick - whom Ive dealt with on insurance matters has always been upfront about all costs and worked with insurance companies and within the practice to get the best deals for the services provided. He is an expert. The other office staff are always there to greet you on arrival, help with scheduling future appoints and answering any questions. As word of mouth is the best indication of quality would I advise someone considering switching dental practives to try Centreville Dental Wellness? That would be a definite yes.

Well I now have a few major things wrong and had a really back tooth ache that caused pain into my neck ear and whole side of my face. A family member just had some major work done and recommended Dr. Abel and so I said I would give them a try. Like many other dentists’ before him, they all promised they would be able to get me numb and complete the job but Dr. Abel was the only one that came through on his word. I left numb, pain free and with a game plan to complete other work that needs to be done without worrying about finding someplace else to go. I was so relived that I just had to hug both Dr. Abel and His assistant before I left. Everything was a fabulous as going to the dentist can be ... clean waiting room, friendly staff, clean exam rooms, updated equipment etc. You can tell they all care. Found my new permanent dentist.

The staff here is amazing. Thoroughly professional and always providing outstanding advice on cleaning and flossing. In 2012 I had a bike accident which caused chipping to my front teeth. Dr Vekay did a fantastic reconstructive job, perfectly restoring my smile. Hygienist Linda is superb. She does a thorough job with each cleaning and also provides excellent instruction on flossing. This is a great practice, and theyre taking strict protective procedures to guard against corona virus transmission. I cant say enough good things about this practice.

Dr. Vakay is an artist. I have had upper and lower veneers done by her over the past two years. They are beautiful and natural looking and I’m only sorry I waited so long to get them done. When I moved to the area, I couldnt find a dentist I liked. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Vakay, I was impressed. She not only found an infection that I had no idea about, she gave me a new option for TMJ treatment. Ive struggled with TMJ pain since I was young and it has significantly gotten worse in the past few years. Dr. Vakay fitted me for a Kois deprogramming appliance and even though it looks like the retainer I had back-in-the day with braces, its amazingly different. It literally deprograms your jaw. I wore it all day for about 3 months with check-ups/adjustments and it did just what is says. My jaw has had minimal tension since I began treatment and the muscle has completely relaxed. I now wear it only at night and I feel great. With the tension gone, my headaches have gone away too. I recommend it for anyone with TMJ pain.

Had TMJ was reccomend to try the TMJ therapy which includes mouth gaurd and regular check ups. With in a few weeks I noticed a huge difference and relief. I would highly recommend this therapy program to anyone suffering from TMJ

This clinic is capable of scheduling an a appointment in a short notice, have an engaging staff that were responsive to requests and questions, lastly, hygienist that performed excellent cleaning and are true professionals. After years of excellent routine dental care at this practice, trauma from of an old accident required a big, complicated set of procedures. Dr. Abel and assistants Beth & Yessie did a fantastic job on a front tooth extraction, implant and gum surgery, three new crowns and three veneers, all over a period of just six months. At age 60, I have a beautiful smile and sturdy, healthy front teeth. Shout outs also to attentive hygenist Erica, who first recognized the problem, and Nick and Sogand in the office, who helped me take advantage of pre-payment savings and insurance.
