Walked in to what I can only describe as a computer graveyard. Tons of computer components scattered all over the place. Didnt see anything modern at all. I walked in looking for a Displayport cable, unfortunately they didnt have it. Im also trying to build a pc from spare parts for my eldest cold. I asked if they had ddr3 in stock, he wakes around and found some. Price brand new for it is $15 cheaper than what he was trying to sell me used. He also was trying to sell me a very hard to find rtx 3070 founders edition for $925. Said that its the top of the line model, best in the series. Thats almost double the price for the base model. I dont know where these 5 star reviews are coming from, but it must be people that he knows and their friends. If youre looking to get ripped off, this is definitely the place for you.

This place is unacceptable. Cluttered mess of disappointment and lies. Junk everywhere. There is so much stuff laying around, it gave me anxiety to walk in the door. Always one excuse after another for 4 months. Finally ended up with a worse working laptop and a partial refund. I would avoid this business at all costs.

Had just purchased a new laptop and needed help to get it started and setup. Ms. Bernidine was very helpful and knowledgeable.

This place was kind of a joke..I went there looking for a new 92mm computer case fan. Upon entering the store, it literally looks like a scrap yard. Once someone asked how they could help me, they immediately tried to pawn off some piece of used, dusty non warranty fan and didnt even carry any new fans of any size......I simply shook my head and politely walked out.......if you need good computer gear......keep looking.

Rick was helpful, professional and above all, went above and beyond the call of duty. The team was upfront about pricing, fair, honest and trustworthy in their approach. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with purchasing or repair. Some places in town lie, overcharge and try and cover up their shortcuts or lack of knowledge. Rick and his team will always be fair with you.

Office Depot had my computer for 4 days and couldnt fix it. I picked it up and took it to Computer Dreams and the lady there fixed it in just 20 minutes! I was more than happy to pay the $35 charge. I highly recommend them!

I tried to return two cables that I realized I no longer needed about 2 and a half weeks after purchasing them. Who I presume to be owner told me that it had been too long to accept the return, which I completely understand. What I do NOT understand was his need to literally laugh in my face when asked about a return. He was generally rude as many of these reviews state. He showed no interest in working anything out or even making eye contact with me. I will not be returning to this store. Next time I need anything, id rather wait for it from an online store than give them my business. Learn how to act toward customers.

Where do I begin. When I was 15 I bought an alien gaming desktop from this place, only to find out they gutted the computer of all of the parts that make it a gaming laptop, and replaced it with cheaper parts. It took me years to get the computer up to standard. They also charged me a $30 fee for anything I purchased. Today May 18th I called to the store out of desperation to see if they had a computer cord that a neighbor lost of mine. The lady that answered was extremely rude, in fact she told me she “didn’t care” about what I was inquiring about and “I shouldn’t have to make her do all of my research for me”. Reality is I was currently busy and did not have my laptops info in front of me. Luckily I’m not the one having to spend money. This place will never get my business again, with how rude and arrogant the employees especially the owner is. This review was a long time in the making. All’s it took was a phone call to remind me how much I despise this business.

This place is a rip off! I lost my power supply cord that goes to my HP, it’s the cord that goes from the tower to the wall. Needless to say I called a lot of places everyone I called said they had some but I had to bring the tower in so they could match the cord, but every place I called said it would cost between $10 and I wasn’t quoted more than $30. So I stopped by Computer dreams and the man and lady looked for a cord let me say all the cords are scattered over the store every where and they are all used from old computers. Well they finally found one that fit. So I went to pay for It and he tried charging me $70.00 for a old used cord. I said oh no I can’t do that, the man said I’ll take $50 I said yes I can’t do that either he said what can you do I said no where near that and told him every place I called I was quoted between $10 and $30 he said Well they are gonna sell you a after market cord and I’m selling you the real deal. I left without a cord and called HP when I got home gave them the serial number to my tower and they have new cords I have to wait for it to be shipped to me but I only was charged $19.99 for the cord that actually goes to my tower and it’s new. Do not go to this scammer. I will never give them my business ever again. Not to mention when I was there the man sat a charging box on top of a laptop screen that was being repaired and the lady who was working was like your about to break that laptop and he said so you broke one on Monday she said no I didn’t and he said yes you did that laptop was working fine until you got ahold of it. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

Went in a few months back looking for a simple SATA cable for my new ssd drive that came in, and was hoping to avoid the wait of amazon or Newegg. I walked in to 3 people sat around chatting in the middle of an outdated computer graveyard, the computers that were running were old and outdated, pretty sure they pre-dated SATA... I asked about the cable and one person pulled one from under a counter and tossed it to who I presume was the owner. He asks “how much do you want to pay for it?” Obviously I answer “free would be great”.. i end up cutting off any additional banter and asked how much? He told me $5, which is a little much, but for the convenience I said ok. I pulled out a card to pay and then he said it would cost over double if I pay with a card. I understand about covering the cost of cards, but this was extortion. They then joked about the fact that I could get multiple for that price. Either way, this is all to say that if you don’t know about computers, you will get screwed, if you are knowledgeable, they will belittle you and generally waste your time. You have been warned! Build your own computer or buy new!

I don’t know what place you people visited, but the Dreams Computer Repair. Was the worst place I have ever been to. The owner was rude and a very unfriendly person. When asking him a question he just kept talking louder and louder. I believe that was to coverup that he did not know the answer. I will never return there again and don’t recommend this place to anyone. It looks more like a salvage shop to me. No customer service skills at all.

But computers are repaired with parts pulled from other peoples junk: fans, ram modules, power supplies - all used.If you demand new parts youll pay a premium, almost double the retail cost.9 times out of 10 any software problems you have will be fixed by reinstalling windows instead of actually taking time to solve the issue.If you dare question or ask for more detail the owner gets flustered and starts spouting nonsensical drivel.Well, you cant downgrade from an SSD drive to a mechanical drive because once youve remodulated the SCSI ports you cant go back because of the IRQsSay what?

Stop- Computer Dreams is a Nightmare!!Dont take any electronics to this place- they are a straightup scam, I took my laptop to them to fix or replace the flickering Dell screen and paid $50.00, of the 200.00 he said it would take, the owner immediately trys to upsale you on another customers garbage used computers- the owner uses a lot of tech wording mumbo jumbo which he knows you wont understand, and quite frankly im not sure he makes any sense to himself -I dropped my Laptop off in April 2018 and 6 months later and my 20 calls I made to followup, and excuses from the owner, still not fixed. claiming the place they sent my laptop to fix?? was running tests and more tech mumbo jumbo etc.. Finally I demanded my laptop as is, and now it will not even powerup at all- ( I suspect he parted out my laptop to fix others) This guys whole business model is predicated on pure fraud, with no real intentions of fixing anything- its just a used computer sales hustle Sham on them, Now they are trying to Fix Phones because everyone knows they are crooks..I am a career professional - this guy is lucky I dont drag him into the local magistrate courts and sue his criminal but..

Too bad I cannot give them zero stars or even better yet negative stars! Just like some of the other reviews Ive read about this place it is a rip off. The owner acts like he knows about computers but he doesnt. I went in there about 3 years ago because our desktop died and I needed to replace it. I let the service tech look at my desktop and she told me that it was toast. I started looking at the used laptops there and made the mistake of purchasing one for about $550. After 3 months the screen stopped working and so I took it back in. The owner said that he could fix it and itd take about a week...a week turned into 2 and then 3 and then 4...finally I got the laptop back and then the owner accuses me of spilling something on the keyboard, no way. The laptop lasted another 2 - 3 months and died. I will never set foot in this place of business again and Id think twice about it if you need a comptuer, computer parts, or service.

They always pressure you to buy new items for more money. Even tho they have used items for sale, and even state you can buy used, they refuse to sell you used. Theyll literally lie to your face and say you cant buy this, or that. Here, by this NEW OVER PRICED item instead even when the used item is right there.The item I bought there I did some research on and could have found it 50% cheaper online. Never doing business with these people again.If it looks run down and unprofessional....Its run down and unprofessional. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Silly me.
