They offer great service at fair prices. Ive had Salmon repair A/C units that were leaking refrigerant. They helped us find coverage under warranty from the original installation done by our home builder. They also did routine service a couple times, and recommended improvements for a drain that backs up, but used no pushy sales tactics.

S & C (Sorry I am terrible at remembering names) were at our door by 8:30 this morning to service our furnace and air conditioning equipment and evaluate it as it is about 24 years old and we have not given it consistent service. Everything was fine, filters changed, we discussed the possibilities of replacement and they promised a quote for our reference although we likely will not need to do it for at least a couple of years yet. They were informative and helpful. I plan to use Salmon again.

Chris and Brandon came out and replaced our furnace and AC. Our furnace has to go in a crawl space, that was fairly thin to get into, but Chris was able to find a furnace that would work. It was an all day project, but both men were so friendly all day, and continued to be happy and friendly even with my young kids “helping” and keeping them company. I’m so excited for an AC and furnace that will actually work to keep our house temperature regulated.I felt both Brandon and Chris were professional, and knowledgeable and we are very happy with the work we received. We would definitely recommend Salmon HVAC and would use them again.

High integrity operation. I have had them out several times for repairs on my AC unit and each time they have been affordable, effective, and honest. They run a true service organization aimed at extending the life of my equipment and not just a sales organization that is only interested in replacing my equipment. I had no idea what I was doing, I inherited my house and we never talked about the specifics of the HVAC system, never needed to. But when things started acting funny I called Salmon because they were the ones who installed the unit and have been maintaining it for mom ever since. They were already familiar with the particulars of my house, and taught me so much. the only problem was the filter (i had no idea where it was or how often to change it) and he took care of that quickly, washed down my compressor, tested everything to make sure it was working properly. super thorough, and I am super happy. My AC failed on the hottest day of the year this week (temps hit 103 outside). I contacted Salmon HVAC late in the day and learned they were “slammed” with service calls and that they were at least one week out. When they learned I was dead in the water, they actually dropped everything and arrived at my door in force the next day. I learned that the owner/founder cancelled his own previously-established service appoint in order to send a team to meet my needs. That kind of self-sacrifice for the customer is remarkable. They replaced my condenser motor and fan and had me back up and running very quickly. I’m very impressed with their care and friendly, can do attitude. I was well-served and gratefully relieved!

I have had a good experience working with Salmon HVAC. They replaced our furnace/AC last spring. The Carrier system that they installed was reasonably priced and the installation was completed efficiently and professionally. When the furnace hit an issue once the cold weather came around, they willingly and quickly came out and diagnosed and resolved the issue. My experience with Salmon HVAC was mostly good and I would recommend them to others. I work in the commercial HVAC industry and selected Salmons residential services after being very impressed by the technical solutions they identified after listening to my goals and desires for replacing my A/C system. I was impressed at how extremely professional and technically competent they were in finding the perfect solution to what I wanted in my house. Their work was good and their pricing was excellent compared to the other companies I had give me quotes. They responded well to an issue that arose during installation (the condenser was too large for my pad, which was something I had asked them to be aware of) by again proposing options and listening to my desires and throwing on an additional discount for the trouble and delay it caused. So Ill take away a star for that but also hold it up as a positive for how they responded to the situation.

We had a furnace problem ever since our house was built and the original installation company couldn’t solve the problem for 6 years. Chris King came and found the problem (installation problem with exhaust vent) within 30 minutes and we think the furnace is finally working correctly. Chris King was very responsive and professional and I recommend Salmon HVAC.

We had Salmon HVAC do a complete tear out of our old furnace and install a new furnace and an air conditioning condenser. The furnace and a/c were the Carrier brand, Carrier has made outstanding HVAC equipment for many years. When Chris the Salmon HVAC representative came to our home he was here when he said he would be, he was kind and answered all our questions with a smile. We went to the basement and then outside for him to get an idea of what we had and what we needed, along with taking measurements and pictures so he could pass them along to the install team. He told us exactly what the installers would do and how things would be placed. He gave us different choices on equipment and explained the differences between the models we talked about. While answering our questions and listening to what we wanted and could afford he gave us his professional opinion and why he recommended the equipment that would work best for us. Salmon was the most reasonably priced. The install team showed up on time and went right to work, they were skilled, clean, efficient and gave an explanation about the things they did. Before I knew it, it was out with the old and in with the new. Things went as planned. They turned up the heat so they could turn down the cool to make sure all functioned properly, and it did. Our A/C was freezing over, and not cooling our house down. For the life of me I cannot remember our Techs name, but he was totally professional and courteous. We have been very happy with the work from Salmon HVAC. When I sent back the confirmation for the bid approval, I was called the next day to set up an appointment for only 3 days away. That was good service in my estimation. The installers were both very professional, kept us updated with the process, answered my questions through the day, and only left when the system was checked out and everything cleaned up. Shortly after purchasing my home last year I started to notice a hot/fabric softener smell IN my house whenever I used my dryer. Its located in the middle of my finished basement so much of the venting tube is hidden behind ceiling drywall. I called 5 different well-known HVAC companies in the area looking for someone who could inspect the venting for me. The other companies wouldnt even LISTEN to me. Sorry, maam we dont clean out dryer vents. Yeah... not what I was asking about. I finally googled HVAC Bountiful and found Salmon. They sent someone out the same day with some sort of camera scope and found where the tube segments had separated. It took him less than 15 minutes to identify and solve my problem. The technician was helpful and even funny.This morning they came out to do the standard seasonal inspection/service on my air conditioning. They were easy to schedule with, showed up on time, and did a good job.Im a customer for life.

In the past I have always been pleased with Salmons - pricing, and service, however this past week when our furnace went out the experience was not what I expected from what we experienced in the past. They could not get here until after hours. We understood them being very busy, but the person on the phone was not what we what was expected. The service person was very nice, but not as knowledgeable as in the past either. Salmons indicated they could not get to our needs for 6 days due to their heavy schedule. Needing heat in our home we called 2 other reputable companies. (We expected a bill for the after-hours service called as both also came after-hours - one was 8:30 in the evening- and they too were also very busy). This was a Friday night and our furnace was out and we needed heat due to the very cold weekend. These other two companies contacted showed up on Saturday after working hours and provided a quote as did Salmons, However, the kicker with Salmons was their after-hour service charge. Salmons bill came to us this week - $100.00. Even though the other two companies told us of a $60 service charge, neither company charged for their visit, plus both were willing to re-arranged their schedules and have an installation first thing on Monday morning. We are more than happy to pay a service fee, but this amount was very disappointing compared to others especially after we have used them several time. We did not use Salmons and may not use them in the future. We were very pleased with the service and the expertise of the Company that went over backwards to get us heat.

My furnace went out in my gym. It wasnt an emergency but Salmon HVAC fixed it within 24 hrs. Works great. So glad they were so quick and did such great work. Ive used them many times and Ive always been very pleased with their service.

Went above and beyond! Not only did they do a great job installing a new water heater, water softener, and furnace. They also replaced some old cast iron plumbing for us and cleaned up the old electrical in our utility room. I really have nothing bad to say. The were patient answering a million questions from me. They get the job done quickly and they do it right.There is nothing like having a company you can call that you know is NOT going to rip you off and will be fair in everything they do. I use to compare prices when I needed work done, but Salmon HVAC was always the best price and so now I know I can just call them without having to call anyone else.I just wish everyone did business like them.

Great service experience. The technician was EARLY to his appointment and fixed the problem right when he got there without setting a separate appointment to come back. He was able to install a common wire for our new Nest thermostat without having to poke any holes in the walls. The fee was very reasonable in my opinion.

We recently had another company come to our home for a furnace tune up. The analysis was we needed to replace the unit ASAP for the discounted price of $3,000. The technician pushed my wife that it was something needed as the safety of our family was at stake with Carbon monoxide leaking through the cracked heat exchange. $3K is a lot of money to just sign a dotted line and have them replace it the following day. I needed a second opinion, and reached out to Salmon HVAC. I spoke with Jeris, and he provided me with options. Ultimately we had Salmon HVAC send a technician to check instead of replacing although the replacement estimate was $1200 less than the prior company. The Technician, Stuart, came and inspected our unit and did not find any cracks, or carbon monoxide in our home. He did recommend placement of carbon monoxide detectors, and encouraged us to purchase another for the upstairs hallway. Everyone was very knowledgeable, and respectful of concerns that we had, and felt that they were not condescending or pushing us to buy anything that wasnt necessary. I fully recommend them for tuning your HVAC systems, replacing an old system, and if another company tells you that your furnace needs replacing get the second opinion. The service fee from Salmon HVAC is much more affordable than the new furnace.

Salmon is always willing to help. They come timely and are always friendly and efficient. They are priced fairly and competitive. I highly recommend them.

We use Salmon for all our heating & air conditioning needs. We have 4 a/c units and 4 furnaces. Salmon comes every year to our home and provides our upkeep and maintenance. And, whenever anything goes wrong during the year, they are there the next day. I trust them, which is the most important thing to us. We wouldnt even consider anyone else. Oh, they are very reasonable too. Sure, we could probably get someone to come by for less, but we are absolutely convinced that it would cost us more in the long run. Honest and fair, what more could you ask for in a service organization?Update: 3/19/18 Just had them back to install 2 new water heaters. Are you kidding me! How do these guys do it? They show up on time, they finish on time and they even charged me less than their quote. I just wish I had something else that was broken so I could have them fix it. They are just good guys.

Our 20 year old furnace needed to be replaced and we contacted Salmon to get it replaced. Jeris came in and in depth explained all of our options and worked really hard to make sure all of our families needs were met. He was really honest and went into detail about each option. We had them come out and work on our heater over a month ago and they cleaned and thought that the flame sensor was dirty. It worked for a little over a month and stopped working again. They came out and decided to replace the flame sensor on a Friday afternoon. It worked for a few hours but the next morning it stopped working again. A storm was coming in and the temperatures were going to get cold. We thought we would not get them again until the next week. However, someone came out Saturday and determined there was something wrong with our thermostat. On top of the extra work they did all of this for the original service charge. The best test of a good company is not getting everything correct the first time but how they respond to little problems. These folks stepped up and did a great job!
