She cut my nail before asking how long i wanted them. i told her they were too short n she said no they are fine. i think asked if she could redo them and make them longer how i want them. she got mad and said it would be $5 extra. i said that’s fine because i wanted longer like i asked in the beginning. when she was redo my nail she was very rough and cut me many times. worst experience ever getting my nails done.

Took tweens to get dipped nails for birthday party. Girls loved how it all turned out!! Girls did end up with cuts on their skin around their nails and one was even bleeding. Staff was nice!

They are super friendly and did an awesome job on my nails. I have come here many times before and they have always done a wonderful job!

We ALWAYS GO TO DIAMOND NAILS they were busy for Mother’s Day I spent a total of $180 for my Mom & I her dip was so healthy and long now they are chipped and painful! My overlay is lumpy nails are crooked acrylic is THICK! & the OWNER is GREEDY!

Took my girlfriend after we had lunch. The place is so clean and bright. Look like they just changed the owner a few months ago.The lady who took care of her was very friendly. Not sure if the nails were good to my eyes but she was very happy.

To start off, the lady made me bleed on 4 different nails. There ended up being blood in the whitShe was very rough with my hands and was not careful. The nails were different lengths and shapes. The also had weird cut offs on the sides. We waited for about an hour even though we called ahead. Would not recommend.

I went there the first time to get my nails and they cracked and broke 2 days later. Whenever I went to get a fill they would rush me and the last time I went there (which is my very last time) they were almost closing, cut my cuticle, and didn’t even match the fixed nails to the previous nail color. It was obvious the lady wanted me out of there ASAP plus they don’t clean their tools well AND they don’t care about you if they’re busy. 10/10 would NOT recommend

I went to get pedicure with my mom...she was completely done by time they cut my toenails...plus then they back tracked and did callouses massage and hot towel...i was there for 2 1/4 hrs for a pedicure! I can get my hair colored, cut and styled in that time...but 2 people got helped before me..my mother made an appt for BOTH of us at 430!

Tonight I went I my original nail place and they were closed. My time is of the essence and so I Yelped the next closest place and with high ratings and I came here. I needed a fill and pedicure but with the time frame I needed the fill more then the pedi. With 15 min before they closed Tram took me in and fixed the hotmess of a set I just gotten. I was there and hour after they closed but very grateful to her for doing my nails and doing such an amazing job.

I had a mixed experience here. I was very happy with the outcome of my pedicure (the look, the relaxation, and how long my paint job lasted were all great) but they never asked me what sort of pedicure package I wanted and kept adding services without asking. I ended up being there for over 2 hours and after tipping (because she really did do a good job) it was over $70!If you want a quick, and reasonably priced service, pick elsewhere but if you want to be really, truly pampered and dont care about cost or time, this is the place to go.

Since COVID-19 the store has been remodeled and is amazing. They have all of the safety issues covered. I have been seeing the manager Anna for over 20 years to do my nails. They are always friendly and there to do whatever you want.

I spent two hours at this place. I had 3 people including the owner work on my nails. This is how they turned out! They even charged me full price after complaining. I got there an hour before they closed and they rushed through it. I have been a normal customer for almost two years now and I didn’t deserve this.. the tips they put on didn’t even go to the edge of my nail, they filed so much to hide it, that I bled. Not to mention almost all of them are crooked. Dip doesn’t go to my cuticle and they have spots where they filed all of the dip off of the base of the nail and all of the sides. I have recommended this place for two years to people asking for a great place to get their nails done.. I am so dissatisfied with the service I received tonight. $48 for this and this is how they let me leave after two hours..

After going somewhere else first & receiving some of the nastiest attitudes I’ve ever dealt with, I came to Star Nails & was PLEASANTLY surprised, they were friendly, attentive & made it very easy for me to relax and turned my mood around. I will FOR SURE be returning to these lovely ladies

Star Nails is the BEST nail salon near I cant recommend this salon enough, especially for students who go to and want an affordable but also high quality nail place! I started going to Star Nails when I was an undergraduate at and continued going through graduate school. Ive been going steadily for years for manicures and pedicures--gel, dip, regular polish, all the things. The people who work at Star are friendly, personable, and truly professional. I always know Ill leave super happy and impressed with my nails. If youve landed on this review, quit looking for another nail salon and just go to Star Nails. You will not be disappointed.

I love this place, Anna is amazing and does amazing work. She always gives me exactly what I want. The wait time is the only negative. They aren’t always clear on how long it will take.

Dont like the barriers having to wear masks and with the partition barricade makes it really impersonal not enjoyable to me. I wont be back until everything is back to normal 😔. My opinion is just that draw your own on that matter!

To start my pedicure... the wax they used was scalding hot.The real star of the show are the uneven nails, lumpy and bumpy and all. They even cut open my pinky finger my going to hard with the nail file and then hit it again when filing the next time.Never stepping foot in here again.

Great nail salon within walking distance from my home that does amazing work and has great service! I have been meaning to write a review for this nail salon for awhile but I would always forget! I have come here about 6 - 7 times to get pedicures, gel and acrylic nails by a few different nail techs and I have always been happy with the service and results! I always make an appt and I have never had to wait longer then 5 - 10 minutes, if that! I think all the nail techs there are very talented. I love them! I totally recommend Star Nails!

Everyone here is so friendly. They have a loyalty , so make sure to grab it. They do appointments and walk ins. They are sterile, and Ive never feared for sanitation. You get your own sealed packet of tools. encouraged to come to this place🌰🌰🌰🌰🌰

I was once a nail tech so Im pretty critical of any nail salon. When I went to Star Nails I immediately loved the atmosphere. It is very reasonably priced and I plan on going back! This is my first Google review and I created an account just to comment on Star Nails! I hope they do well and stay for a while.

I would definitely recommend Star Nails for any manicure or pedicure services. All of the nail technicians are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure customers feel relaxed and are happy with the experience. Im already looking forward to my next visit!

Spent two hours here just for a basic color manicure! We didn’t even have to wait, it just took the inexperienced manicurist that long since every single nail had to be redone and touched up. They cut two cuticles too short causing bleeding. The seats at the manicure bar aren’t comfortable enough to sit in for that long. Very disappointing experience. Overpriced even if they had done a good job.

Everyone here is amazing. The place is clean and staff knows what they are doing. I have searched high and low for the perfect nail salon that does not charge an arm and a leg and finally found the place.

My manicure took 3 hours. i was one of three people in there... i went in for a fill and clearly explained this, but somehow i got all of my nails taken off and completely redone so i was charged more than twice what it originally would have been. in the end no one should have to sit on that little stool that long:/

I recently got my nails done here for a friends wedding that I was in. It was by far the worst quality I have ever received from a nail salon. The guy cut my cuticles twice causing a lot of bleeding on one of them, the shellac looked terrible when he was done and it took forever compared to others in the salon. When contacted regarding a refund, they refused. They offered to fix them but I didn’t have time to go get them fixed due to the busy wedding weekend. It should be done well the first time. I could have done my nails better myself and saved myself a lot of money.

Unfortunately their prices are now double what they used to be and the attention to detail and effort put in has gone down. A mani and pedi is $50 per person when at other places it is $30.

Not good. They overpriced. Got angry when you asked for something fixed. They say they can do what you ask for yet end up looking horrible. I called about pricing said it would be 35. I get there and they charge my 40. Do not recommend.

I went with the kids I babysit and they got pedicures while I was getting a manicure so the workers added on “special” things and ended up charging us for them in the end. No one asked for those things and the workers didn’t ask if we wanted them. Terrible communication and experience.

Wont be returning. Talking on their cell phones during our pedicures. Charged us more than what was originally told. (No prices posted anywhere in the place so that should have been a red flag!) Said it was more because we didnt pay in cash.....we had gift certificates!! Rude ladies. As if we were inconveniencing them by being there. Not to mention it took almost 3 hrs! Dont waste your money.

I loved the place super nice staff, they let me make a last minute appointment and even opened early for me to come in. I got beautiful nails that seemed like they lasted forever and they have an amazing range of colors and designs. I definitely recommend and will for sure be back!

After waiting 2+ hours, I got a partial pedi (asked for the Heart Warming, only got the basic), a bad polish job and told I didn’t need flip flops because my toes were dry (not the case). The guy who did my pedi took a smoke break halfway thru. Someone also took over for him after he applied the first coat of polish, I’m assuming she, too, thought he did a terrible job considering she shook her head and “attempted” to fix it. Won’t be back!

The people were nice, but my friend and I waited an hour before anyone started on us. There were only 2 people in there besides us. I got the dip done, and it made my nails SO fragile and they all broke underneath the actual dip. They also didn’t have the prices posted.

They left the acetone on our fingernails for an hour and if we hadnt complained loudly it would have been longer... never went back

Came here because I work close and was on a limited budget, I will never return. For one, my nail broke only after a day of having them, the second reason, they charged me $10 more than the original price given. And the third reason my nails have started yellowing already...after a day... don’t waste your money!

DO NOT GO TO STAR NAILS LOCATED NEXT TO FUZZYS TACO SHOP ON BLAIRSFERRY ROAD. I mean the pictures speak for themselves, I went in, asked how much a fill would be, they told me 35$ and charged me 55$!!!!! When I asked why they said for length (why would that matter on a fill) AND GET THIS, I HAD TO PAY FOR A NEW NAIL BECAUSE THE LADY BROKE ONE WHILE DOING THEM. Why am I paying for a nail she broke??? When I said it wasnt fair that I had to pay for it the lady laughed in my face and walked away. (I understood it being somewhat more than 35$ because I had one nail already broke but not 20$ more) I got this set done on Monday and two of them have broke already!!! (I get dip powder) I messaged their Facebook page and asked how this could be fixed (new nails or money back) and I got no response what so ever. Apparently I am one of many people who have left unsatisfied and they just ignore. DO NOT GO TO STAR NAILS, THE REVIEWS ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. I have had the MOST UNPLEASANT experience there this week. I went in on a Tuesday night and had the dip done. The woman doing my nails was very distracted by everyone else doing their jobs that she did a very poor job on mine. She did not do the base under my color, then filed them down so far that the color came off the edges (Ive had several dips done and know whats normal). Less than 3 days later 4 of the nails chipped off. I went back on the 7th day after my mani and asked to have all of them redone so they do not chip off more, since they tell you its supposed to last 3 weeks. Well, they only redid 3 nails even though I asked twice for a full set. The woman doing them did not know what she was doing, they were not smooth and then she filed them to a point when the rest of my nails are square! The original woman who did my nails came to teach her on how to do them, but ahe was holding my arms down firmly on the counter for 2 minutes, very uncomfortable. She then accused me of waiting 2 weeks to come back and get them fixed because they looked too grown out....of course this is where I lost it. I let her know I was there exactly 7 days before and that she did the nails that way, and that she never put a base on them, thats why they have chipped. She asked if I liked my nails today and I told her no. She got mad and walked away yelling. They woman doing my nails filed the top coat down again and redid it, making it worse. Finally she told me i was done and to leave. Today, one of the nails that they DIDNT fix has now chipped off. I will not be going back to have them fix it. I would not recommend anyine to this place. Very unprofessional! Very rude!

I went on Monday 4/3 and had a tip put on and then the dip powder. I paid $55 for this and by 4/10, 5 of the nails had fallen off. This happened in a week. I went in to get them fixed that day thinking they would do it for free or minimum price because the dip is supposed to last 3-8 weeks, however, AFTER fixing them they say I owe them $30. I’m very disappoint in this business and will not be coming again.
