I get my eyebrows done here everytime but today was the last time they use to do them really well when Lao was there now that she’s gone it gets worse and worse each time this time was the last straw for me that lady took off the whole end of my right eyebrow and my eyebrows don’t look the same at all! 😡

I went in with an inspiration picture and the lady who did my nails said she could do it no problem. The main issue I have is that I got my nails done on 6/3 and today 6/4 part of the polish or dip has chipped off my middle finger, just about 24 hours after the service. They are not holding up well

I’ve never left a review because I hate taking pictures of my wrinkly hands but I don’t care anymore, Jen deserves all the praise!!! She is so funny and personable. I’ve occasionally strayed from her and I even got my nails done in Chicago, West Texas, and Houston a time or two and I solemnly swear, nothing has compared to C.R. Nails longevity!!!!!They have something for everyone. If you tell her it’s about speed, they’ll move fast. If you want the more spa/pampering experience, they’ll default and treat you like royalty. This is my nail place for life! (Ft. my snow theme nails for the season)

Went to have my first pedicure done, and I will never have one again after what happened to my feet after I left. Ive been fighting ingrown toenail infections in BOTH of my big toes since I came here.The people here were nice, were careful, but something went wrong to cause these infections. Saw nothing in the reviews but heard from word of mouth after the fact that this isnt the first time this has happened.

Went for a pedicure left wanting a nap. Was so relaxed afterwards. Good pricing.

I asked for a tip on my nails and usually get dip. I brought in an inspo pic and Kim was AMAZING at getting it down for me. I broke a nail the morning after getting them done and Kim was more than happy to fix it and was so gentle and kind. I will not go to any other nail place!

We called and made an appointment for a bridal party of 3 for a 3:45pm appointment, and were not touched until 5pm. Our feet sat in the pedicure water for over an hour! Not to mention our dres rehearsal was at 6pm! I showed the woman who did my nails a picture of what i wanted, and made sure to make it visible the entire time i was getting my nails done and she completely ignored it and did whatever she wanted to do. I wanted some generic leaf design on two of my fingers and when she started doing something other than that i asked if she would do it anyways and she flat out told me no. I also asked her to shorted my nails a bit once i realized they were going to be a little to long and she took a file to it and barely shortened them at all! Not to mention they cut all three of our fingers with their drills. Overall awful experience, my toenail polish they put on chipped before the wedding even happened which was literally the next day, and all three of our nail polishes on our fingers were bubbling up not 10 minutes after we left the salon.

They were more afraid of me than they were interested in providing the service I was paying for. I would recommend you a pend your money where the people providing the service are 1) not afraid of you, but 2) the quality of their service makes you want to go back. The sides and heels of both of my feet still crusty. And that’s after the scraper, the scrub, the hot towel, the massage and the lotion.

Advertise Pink and White, is an argument every time. They only want to do dip. This was gel, that they talked me into instead of dip, after 2 days.

Not a relaxing place. Flies buzzing around the chairs, the massage chairs didn’t work. When I complained, she said that was the only one that didn’t work well. I asked to move, and the nail tech just told me to turn it on and off again whenever it stopped— which was every 30 seconds. I mentioned that she should make customers aware to pick a different seat, and she started talking on the phone with AirPods in and laughing, about what I’m not completely sure since it was in a different language, but then pretty much ignored me. To top it all off, she cut my toe and then continuously burned me with nail polish remover. When I complained to the owner, she just stared at me. Eventually I asked to get $10 off or something and she offered me a $10 gift card for next time. I told her to keep it as it does not seem like a sanitary or well-kept place and I will not be revisiting.

My cousin and I went to strictly only get regular manicures. The nail tech then stood there for 5 minutes and argued with me about what I should get. She did not start anything until I agreed to a French manicure set. She filled my nails down very low, she nicked me multiple times, and at one point she had to wipe blood off my finger. My nails took about 45 minutes and came out OKAY. Once she was done she moved on to my cousin. She then made my cousin pay her first before starting on the nails. My cousin was strictly getting a regular manicure. The nail tech took a whole 5 minutes on them. She didnt soak my cousins nails in water, the white part of the french tip design were ALL crooked, and no oil or lotion was put on. Not a good experience at all. I will not be going back.

This is the only nail salon that I visit. Very clean and efficient. They follow excellent covid 19 protocol. All staff members are kind and welcoming. I am always happy with my services.

Went back in March for a set of acrylic nails with dip. 2 hours later, my friend and I were left with cuts and blood on our hands from how rough they were with the tools. The nail tech was also bleeding from their hand and proceeded to keep working on our nails with their blood everywhere. Gross & unprofessional.

When I got there the man who was doing my nails would randomly get up and leave me for 20 minutes. It took 2 hours for me to get my nails done and they weren’t done properly if I might add.

The staff are very friendly and professional. They fixed my nails efficiently and quickly. I highly recommend CR Nails!!

I got my nails done 2 months ago and the nails weren’t bad, however they filed my nails down so much i was bleeding from my cuticles on at least three fingers. i went with a couple friends and whenever i would talk to the she would slap my hand. fast forward to now, she left a hole in my nail and it got extremely infected. i will insert a photo.

Had an awesome experience here! Did my nails for St. Patricks Day (I work at an Irish Pub) and have already gotten so many compliments! Staff is kind and attentive, they were so nice! And great prices!!! The lady who did my nails took her time, did awesome detailing, and really cared about how they would look and made sure I was gonna be happy with them. Definetly reccomend this place! 😁

I really enjoyed my full pedicure here. The workers stayed late to get everyone’s nails done without rushing and that says a lot to me. My feet feel awesome. However, I walked in- immediately greeted and sat down with my feet in the water in a massage chair- which was nice but I sat there for a full hour before they could get to me. I know it was a walk in but it definitely took away from the relaxing experience.

As someone who has gotten pedicures twice a month since high school due to cracking heels, Im always hesitant trying out a new place. I know what I like, I know how I like it done, and I know what to expect. A lot of times, that sets it up for failure already. Not the case here!I walked into this beautiful, clean, sophisticated space, and was greeted very warmly.Technician was wonderful. Gentle, took her time, was thorough, and made sure I was comfortable. Easy conversation when I wanted, and easy to relax in the moments where I just wanted to sit quiet. She was very good at understanding the difference between those times.After the service I looked down and discovered it was one of the best pedicures I have had in a very long time. She even took the time to fix a cut in my nail from a previous technician messing up on my big toe.Overall, a fantastic experience.Highly recommend this business. I will absolutely be going back!!!

New to Cedar Rapids and I have been searching for the place to go to take care of my nails. Ive been to a few but CR Nails is the only place that treats you like you matter. I went in to lifted acrylic issues and left with beautiful pink gradient nails - cute for me and still professional for work. Ive already recommended them to co workers! Will be back!

Absolutely great service here the 2 times I came in for a pedicure. Both times I got a male technician who really did a great job. You can tell they try hard to do a great job and please their customers! The managers and front staff are equally lovely. Ill be back everytime for sure.

You have to get your nails done here!! Ive been going to this salon for almost years & since then Ive never switched! They always make my nails look amazing. I have natural long nails so I always get the deep powder as the base with a gel color, the perfect mix! she is amazing as well as her sister, I highly suggest to make an appointment.💖

Went in with my sister to get her nails done for her wedding, went in at 3:30, asked if we’d be done by 5 because we had to pick her son up at 5, they said yes, than proceeded to make us wait, started doing my nails first, made her wait another 30 min, at this point she couldn’t get them done because of the time limit, the lady rushed through the whole process, cut up all of my cuticles and was very rude, twisting my fingers and cutting me after I had expressed that she was hurting me already, it was supposed to be 25$ because I got a basic French tip acrylic, she up-charged me 5$ (even though I did not get them longer which is a 5$ up charge in itself) so I ended up paying 37$ for a simple French tip acrylic, my nails hurt and were shredded by the time I left. Really do not recommend.

I’m a nail tech, went and got my nails done as I didn’t have time to do it myself. Their style of work is very “old school”—clipping off the cuticle, using sanding belts on the nail plate, dipping your nail in the actual dip jar, etc. but besides all that, the attention to detail was fantastic and the customer service was great. I’ll definitely go back again, but I’ll probably bring my own sanitized implements next time.

The best experience Ive ever had at a nail salon... I decided to make an appointment at CR Nails to get a fresh set of acrylics. One of the reasons I chose to try CR Nails is because they use the natural method of removing and filing the acrylics - there are no electrics drills or harsh chemicals.When I first walked into the salon, I was greeted by a very genuine and warm welcome - as the tech at the front checked me in for my appointment, she noted that it was my first time there & she told me how much they appreciated me coming. Next, she walked me over to my very comfortable recliner and got me settled in with a glass of fruit-infused water & a warm neck towel. Honestly - I was tempted to take a nap - thats how relaxing it was!Next, my nail tech, she came over and introduced herself - she explained the natural acrylic approach that they take & made sure I was comfortable before we began. Madlon is very talented, friendly, and made my experience there even better. She made sure to ask me if I was happy with the length, the shape, etc. before proceeding to the next step.While getting my nails done, I was reclined back with the warm neck towel & water, yet the owner still made sure to come by and ask if there was anything else they could do to make me more comfortable. I felt very important!From start to finish, my experience was 5 stars. I have already scheduled my next appointment .

Such a great place in Cedar Rapids. Always very accommodating and the owner has always done an amazing job with my nails. The first time I went was Mothers Day and although they were busy, they were able to fit me in within a reasonable amount of time. On the occasion that Ive had to wait, I didnt mind as theyre very courteous and dont make you feel like youve been forgotten. Definitely my new go-to place.

Ive come here for quite a few times and each time Im very satisfied with the work! The staff is very efficient, thorough, and most of all they dont seem to be in a rush to finish you off even though there were customers waiting as they walk in without the appointment. Thats what I like most about their service.

Wow this place has blown me away.As others has mentioned the space is immaculate and looks upscale. What sets this place apart for me though is everyone even the weird bird I had originally are really meticulous in their work (both polish & cuticles) and manicures here last me 6 days easily even if I am doing dishes / other cleaning that would normally ruin my nails. And this is 6 days using regular top coat, no quick dry, standard issue.Totally impressed! Have made this my go to even though its not in my neighborhood.

Last minute decided to come get a manicure with four friends on a girls and they were nice enough to fit us in last minute.My nail technician was really great. Amazing hand massage included with nice lotion. for a gel manicure which I feel is a great price.❤️

Amazing customer service. My situation is that I came in for a pedi and pink and white fill in at 6 pm the pedicure was outstanding and came out beautifully, with no rush from the technician. I wanted a special shape nail design so the technician suggested to get a new set to accommodate this special design. Mind you it was 7 pm when she started on my nails she was very nice and took off my old set and started my new set etc. They were so polite and didnt make a stink about me being so late. I am going to be a regular at this salon due to the staff being polite and friendly as well as prices being very affordable. Just next time I wont be a rude customer and get there earlier! Great great place!

An absolute gem. I hesitate to write this, lest this secret get out!We had a pedi appointment for Saturday at 5. The place wasnt crowded or loud the way other nail salons in the area can be. It was clean, too. Our pedicures were perfect! The techs didnt rush at all! We stayed a while after to make sure our toes dried and they never rushed us out of the chairs.I love this place and cant wait to go back.

I always have a great experience here. Unlike most nail salons in Cedar Rapids they take there time and use quality products. My nails last a full 2-3 weeks without lifting or chipping.

Scheduled an appointment with friends to get our nails done. My friend asked for a classic manicure. Turns out the lady gave her a gel, then wanted to charge us for it. We all heard her ask for the classic. We dont get our nails done often, so she didnt know that what she was receiving was a gel. The lady told us classic manicures are only for children. Then she threatened to take the polish off and start over if we didnt pay the full price for the gel. My friend needed to get going and we didnt have time to start over, especially as it was about 15 minutes before they touched any of our nails, even though I had made an appointment. Had to argue with her to get a measly $5 discount. Rude, unprofessional service.

Had an excellent service with a girl my age who was also going to vet tech school. Ive never been in a nail salon so clean and welcoming. I-as a licensed cosmetologist know exactly how the procedures should go....and they didnt rush any of it. Very impressed. Im going back to get my nails filled and is not even in my normal budget, they just really do a terrific job on us tired mommies.

This is a good place to go for dip nails. but if you want acrylics, don’t go here. they don’t shape them the shape you want so there all different and they’re not the same length. they also painted them very fast and didn’t get the whole nail painted and the top coat didn’t get on all of the paint.

The lower reviewed comments are actually shocking to me because I had the best service and Ive never had so much care during my pedicure! Sure I can imagine things being a little more hectic when its busier (I came at 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon) but what would someone expect, definitely a place to sit and relax and get your nail care. I know a nail salon experience can vary drastically depending on who works in you and Ive had good and mediocre services at posh. Last time I was here I really wasnt too satisfied so I had gone somewhere else but decided to come in once again on a whim. I think Ive found my to-go person.The nail polish went on right on the spot. I usually never have problems with the polish part since no one messes up with this. Its all the other little things in between. She even went between the toes when drying them after the lotion. Attention to detail, I pay attention to!Ill be back and definitely be asking for you!

I have been here 3 times, they always seem to be in a rush, which reflects in their work. Last time I went the woman doing my nails didnt clean up after the last woman before she had me sit down. Then called me picky because I didnt want my nails filed sideways! Also what is with their $5 charge for matte top coat?! OUTRAGEOUS!

CR Nails was fast, did a great job and fit 5 of us in last minute for both a mani/pedi. All of us were happy with the job that they did and the cost was very, very reasonable! Traveled to Cedar Rapids for a wedding, wish there was a salon as good as CR Nails around me! If youre close to CR Nails, trust me, go there!

The location was easy to find, the ladies working inside were personable, positive, and professional. My mom and I stopped in for the basic pedicure (with regular nail polish) and we were happy with the results. Wide color selection and a great price.

The business what pretty full (all the technicians were working on someone) but we didnt feel rushed or neglected.Ive been to sketchy nail salons in the past that dont clean the tubs for the pedicure but they used cleaning solution between clients and wiped everything down. I was referred to CR Nails by my daughter. The salon is attractive, clean, a relaxing environment, and their staff is pleasant, and welcoming. Ive had a few different staff members take care of me for mani/pedi services. I am not a fan of the Gel nail polish. (This is the popular item at all nail salons. )Its beautiful when it goes on. Its supposed to last 3 weeks..my last manicure survived a week, and I wear gloves to do any cleaning or use chemicals. Its removed with pure acetone, and a little electric sanding device. I guess I havent made myself clear about not using that type of polish. I fully intend on returning, but Im taking nail polish that Ive purchased that is not the gel formula.

Tucked in a little plaza, this place is a gem. Had a mani pedi and both hands and feet look awesome. I was impressed with how clean this place is. They really go all out to reduce your chances of infection or fungus! I will definitely be back!

French manicure only lasted 3 days before it began to feel off. Not worth the $20, in my opinion.

I got quoted two different prices for French manicures and the customer service needs to be more polite to customers.

They just saved my wedding. Went to another place that did the worlds worst job. Went to CR Nails and not only did they correct the horrible previous job, they made me feel pampered. Will forever being going to them!!!!

I ended up getting an infection in two of my toes after going here for a pedicure. I also had dip on my nails. The lady doing my nails trying tearing it off instead of filing it...OUCH! I was not pleased with the experience at all.

Where do I start. You know youre in trouble when they cant even get the water temp right, somewhere between tepid and just below scalding. My pedicure was done in segments as the nail tech went back and forth between my pedi and someone elses mani. My toes needed work, but I barely got any cuticle work or dead skin removal and nothing done to my heels until I asked about it. I had ingrown toenails and she didnt even touch them until I asked her to. Just a dab of lotion on my calves and very little massage. My SNS manicure was equally poor and done entirely without any soaking. My cuticles still need work and I have to do some additional manicuring on my own. In addition to the poor mani/pedi, the people werent friendly or helpful with chair adjustments and massage. They were rushed an inattentive and I actually had to call someone to shut the water off to prevent the tub from overflowing. It was terribly hot in the salon so this ended up being the absolute worst experience at a nail salon in my entire life. Its close to my home so I decided to try it, but I will never go back.

For me to pay $37 for a pedicure and have rough feet the next day is not great service.
