Dr. Joyner is a very caring professional who knows her trade at a very high level. Recently I was traveling from the east coast to the west coast and broke a tooth. I contacted her after hours because of the level of urgency. She said she would fit me in the next morning. Her work was accurate and outstanding as she crafted a needed crown that morningfor me. I highly recommend this excellent dentist.

Best experience with a dentist that I have had by far. Called with a broken tooth and the absolute worse pain in my life. Set me up for 9AM the next day. Called me an hour later and got me in immediately today. Was in and out feeling the best I’ve felt in 5 days. Will definitely make a return trip

Dr. Joyner and her whole team are incredible with children. My 2 year old was scared that it would hurt, then after 30 seconds of getting acquainted, she walked back holding hands with Dr. Deb for her first appointment ever. Then she came out with Michelle showing me her teeth and her brand new toothbrush! They all have a way with children of all ages.

I love everyone at Joyner Dental Arts. Going to the dentist is never fun but they do their best to put you at ease and help you stay on track with your gum health. So happy I found them when I did!

Dr Deb is great. If you don’t understand something, she’s willing to try multiple avenues to provide the best care. Her hygienist staff admittedly is hit and miss. Some have great bedside and take their time to not scare/hurt. Sadly others are in the “this is inflamed, let me dig into it and tell you bleeding is bad” camp. Personally I am not a fan, as of course if you gouge my gums they will bleed. Overall good dentist, just be vocal with the hygienist and tell them when you prefer someone else

I hate going to the dentist but the staff and Dr. Deb make it so much more tolerable (no one likes to go to the dentist ;) ). They are always so caring, ask about whats going on with me, and go out of their way to make it a good experience. I love the advanced technology they have there too, it shows they strive to be the best they can be with what is available. Ive had several hygienists and they were all wonderful, Dr. Deb is always amazing and shes a great dentist, I love that she pops in a few jokes here and there :) Im never leaving Joyner Dental Arts!

Dr Deb Joyner and the staff at Joyner Dental Arts are amazing. They truly care about not only your dental health but your dental goals and develop a plan to make it happen. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating making it easy to want to go to the dentist for your regular checkup! We would highly recommend them!

I would approach them with caution. I went here several years. Initially they were friendly. Later on, I found them to have become pushy and condescending. Due to this and desire for a more convenient dentist for myself, I switched practice, and after discussions my new dentist had my suspicions confirmed that they seemed to really lean into over treatments at this practice. Overly aggressive pushing of fillings and crowns. Do not recommend.

Ive been coming for several years and always have as good of experience as possible. I was one who avoided the dentist for a long time and the team has helped get my teeth and gums into a much healthier spot. Good knowledge and very calm.

I cant recommend Dr. Deb and her staff enough. They are professional, skillful, personable, and modern. The dental assistants and hygienists are excellent. Dr. Deb keeps up with all the advances in dental care. They have a crown milling/curing machine in house so it only took one session to install a permanent crown.Dr. Debs quality of work is outstanding. She has the experience and intuition that goes with it to understand what solution is best for your teeth. Under her guidance I feel like my mouth has never been healthier.The office is inviting, clean, and well organized. Scheduling is a breeze and I appreciate getting texts reminding me of my next appointment.

Most unprofessional dentist Ive ever been to. I scheduled an appointment six months out. When I went to reschedule the appointment 48 hours before the appointment happened, it turns out that the dentist wasnt even there. She was out on holiday, and no one had bothered to let me know. They will come on to you with unnecessary products. Before any procedure, shop around. Get a second opinion.

As a 1st time patient, in extreme & I mean extreme pain, I was very pleased they got me in the same day & my issue resolved. I believe they even worked late helping me. I am very grateful & will continue to work w/ them.

Well, I was having an issue with a very sore tooth and needed help right away. I contacted Dr. Joyner and she was kind enough to come in on off hours and take care of my tooth. Without her dedication and concern for my health, I may have been in pain all weekend or longer. If you want to be price gauged go to this dentist. They gave us procedures that werent covered by insurance without even asking first and only cared about selling us products. Worst dentist we have ever gone to. There are plenty of great dentist in Cedar Rapids area and she is not one. Do yourself a favor and shop around for a dentist instead of deciding on this one.

This place is a joke and I wouldnt even give them one star if I didnt have to. They were blatantly dishonest with me on two different occasions, charged an $80 cancellation fee without informing me that they would even charge me for cancelling an appointment, took 3 hours for my first visit to simply do a routine teethe cleaning, and then tried to tell me I needed to have all these procedures done when nothing at all was wrong. Do NOT go to this dentist; they are lying crooks that steal your money. They are the worst dentist Ive ever been to in my life.

I recommend Joyner Dental Arts for many reasons. Dr. Deb takes the time to get to know you. Not only does she provide exceptional dental care, she genuinly wants you to have a great experience. She is always looking for new ways to refine the care she gives. From young kids to grandparents she takes care of the whole family. The environment is very relaxed. You can listen to music or watch tv while getting treatment. Maria greets you in the front always with a warm smile along with Courtney and Katie (Dr. Debs assistants). These ladies are very confident in what they do and you are their priority. I took my 7 y.o. to have a couple teeth pulled by Dr. Joyner today. Everything was fine until kiddo suddenly got scared. She has been going there for years and cheerfully had a tooth pulled and some filllings last year. Courtney, the assistant, was very patient with her and Dr. Joyner got the teeth out so now all is well. Dr. Joyner and all the staff are happy and good at what they do.nted.etsd.
