We bought a car from another McGrath location. Go to find out that the car we bought had issues with the A/C and power steering. When returning it to the same dealership to be looked at, and speaking to 3 different employees about the situation, they tested for the heat instead of A/C. Go to find out that the employees also side swiped the retaining wall inside of the service center. After the problem occured again, we took it to the Chevyland location because we didnt want to deal with the same technicians, and John the service manager helped us throughout everything. He got the car in, found the problem, and fixed it in less than 24 hours. John was very professional and helpful. Our family is very grateful for their help getting our new car back to us before our vacation!

Lacking in Customer Service and Honesty. When I purchased my car in 2018 I was in need of a reliable lower mileage car and got a 2015 Lancer. My fault was not properly checking the car out but due to very limited time and it being November with Freezing Rain I banked on the status of it being a McGrath Certified Vehicle but they failed that in all aspects.Ive had to take the vehicle in multiple times and each time except two I had decent experiences. Now I will not return mainly due to them taking $700+ dollars from me on items that should have been covered under their warranty. Whatever you do go elsewhere and dont waste your time with McGrath. Its not very helpful to Customer Service when the person in charge of the situation ignores what your saying and decides to walk away from the discussion. My family and I will never return to McGrath nor any companies associated with the ownership.

Easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at a service department.

Sean in the service department is fanatic he always makes everything right the one time i have to have someone cause he was busy they want to say i damaged the rental and want me to pay 1400 dallors to fix it when in reality i was only in the rental for a day cause i was test driving other vehicles to buyTried to tell the lady that i have never brought back a rental dirty let alone damaged but she didnt want to even listen to that ( most likely never taking my car their again and this is the last car i will be buying from McGrath )

They care about returning customers. They listen to what it is you are looking for and make it happen. Our truck had some iasues after we bought it, but they came to where we live (1.5 hours away), picked up the truck, took it to a Chevy dealer garage, fixed it and brought it back to us. I call that going the extra mile!! They also did a followup repair for us where they cane to Indianola to take care of it - even though they are in Cedar Rapids. Seriously, you dont just buy a mystery vehicle and then they leave you hanging. They stay involved and ensure you are happy with your purchase. We have now bought 3 vehicles from them due to this way of doing business.

Always had my oil changed at the dealer since I bought my vehicle from them. Now they want to charge over 125.00 for a full synthetic oil change, almost a 25% increase.That will be the last time I go there, ridiculous.

Been going to McGrath Chevyland for years, bought three trucks from these guys if that tells you anything. The Service Reps and mechanics are outstanding not to mention the sales people. My expectations are always exceeded with helpful and knowledgeable people who have shown genuine concern for my satisfaction. Yes when you go to a dealership youre gonna pay a little more but in todays world you get what you pay for. I dont mind paying a little more for outstanding customer care. Definitely recommend McGrath Chevyland.

Very friendly staff, easy scheduling online or over the phone. Easy peasy shuttles with friendly drivers. Have been coming here for years without regret.

They called *me* to schedule service for a recall, set time and day a week out, and when I got there after waiting ten minutes they told me they didnt have the part and tried to schedule again. No thanks my whole day was scrapped for this because I work third shift and how am I to believe theyll have the part next time its scheduled? In the past theyve done decent quality work at a premium price but I dont think Ill go back.

Chad Hansen was great to work with, got me a set of tires for my truck with no appointment and not having them on hand installed in 2 hours.

Got an oil change which came with a wash, tire check & rotation. Very quick, friendly and comfortable experience. Easiest if you make an appt.

Couldnt get into Dodge so they got me an appointment at Chevy for my Ram REBEL oil change very pleased with how I was treated.

The manager, Mike G.was very unprofessional, he talked to me very degrading and pulled my credit report without my consent. After he was told that I was already preapproved through my bank. I don’t appreciate the the disrespect and degradation.

I lost my only car key a couple of days ago and upon bringing my car in by tow truck, they informed me that I actually had insurance for my replacement key. Thank you guys!!! Total life saver!!! ❤️

Terrible service. They told me there was no trace of a leak when my engine and garage floor were covered in oil after getting my oil changed by them. Brought my car to CR Toyota and they found the issue and fixed it and I was on my way home in less than 20 mins.
