Alberts was booked up until next week, and then referred me to Als. I bought a car at a local dealership taken it back to the dealership for its routine oil change and check up thinking they were taken care of the of may car.. Telling that everything were looking good.. Until my car broke down I found out that they did. Thanks to Als full service. not only did they cleared the issues, they sent me a scale of the Condition of my car ,what needed to be handled Right away ,and sent pictures of proof of the damaged parts and filters that were in need to be replaced. I really appreciate for your over and beyond service.

I brought my car in because it was over heating and leaking fluid. They got my car in to look at it even when they were busy. Within a week they replaced the water pump which is a big project. They were so kind and explained everything to me (I am not knowledgeable about cars). They broke down all the costs to me and had very reasonable prices. I called them because my other car shop was booked out for 2 weeks, but I will now be going to them. Very impressed with this business!

They are very friendly and helpful. They got my car in fast and got it done ahead of the time they said they would. The cost seemed a bit high for what I had done but no repairs are cheap any more. Nice place to do business with.

They replaced both my leaf springs nice people knew the work and on time and budget would use again.

Will be returning to Als - for good reason! I had an appointment to change my oil and fix a tire leak, and they provided a courtesy inspection on my car. They kept me updated on the progress of my car and any issues they spotted. I love that they provide an electronic copy of the inspection in full detail too! Al’s was not only helpful, but quick about being helpful. On a Tuesday, one of my tires became unusable on my way to go fill them, so I got stuck on the side of an interstate. I called Al’s, and although they don’t do towing themselves, they gave me a number to call if that ended up being needed, and said to call if I ended up figuring out anything else. I needed 2 new tires, and they were quick to order them and got me in on a Thursday, despite ordering the tires on a Tuesday night. Everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful, and if you need something done I’d highly recommend Al’s.

They are proof of what a good business can be. Their inspection overviews are very thorough and informative. They don’t try to sell you on anything unless it’s absolutely necessary for the longevity of your vehicle. On a personable basis, I showed up around Christmas one time, and they offered anyone in the waiting room a gift under the tree! Where else do you get such public relations?!

I had an engine light and the vehicle was throwing misfire codes. Als was very upfront on the costs and was able to get me in quickly. Very professional. Is wonderful that they have extended hours also. Very reasonable cost. Will absolutely use Als again!

My F150 was stuttering upon acceleration between 40 and 50 mph. My appt was at 1:00 on Friday. It took a bit to diagnose and I was explained in detail what had to be done to resolve the issue. Parts were ordered and I was back on the road the following Wednesday. All my fluids were checked and my truck runs like brand new. I will be back to get some other maintenance items addressed.

I trust all the employees there. They let you know what is wrong and no pressure to repair.

Went to Als for a Cylinder #3 Misfire code and lagging performance. Technician diagnosed problem correctly and repairs where made. Ended up with 6 new coils and plugs. The only reason they received 4 stars and not 5 was they were extremely expensive. My given total over the phone after repairs were done was over $1500. this is around $400 more than what the 5 Ford dealerships I called would have charged me. I brought this to the man who called me when my repairs where compete but he seems to only want to wonder why but offer no solution. I agreed to the initial estimate for the repairs so this was going to be me first and last time at Als and give them 2 stars, but when I picked up my vehicle my bill had changed and they were actually cheaper than the dealership is you took off the diagnostic fee. This is great customer service but its a shame that if i hadnt done the leg work and spoke to other dealerships I would have been overcharged, so they lost a star there. Overcharging was on parts, their labor rate was fair and accurate for the work completed.

The guys at Als were amazing! They called me before they did any work to my van, and when they were done with the alignment my van drove like a dream!

The place is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly. I felt that the bid I received was way high so I elected to do the work myself. Also I expected that they would waive the diagnostic fee if I had them do the work. Sadly this was not the case.

Been using this shop for year and always come away happy. They do not try to sell you things you do not need and take care of you. I recommend them to everyone needing auto work down.

They got my car in super quick and was very detailed about what was wrong with it. They sent me a link with pictures of the problems that was super helpful. I spoke with a guy by the name of Ed and he was super friendly and was very thorough about filling me in on the issues with my car. I am very glad that I found this place and I highly recommend!

Gary at Als Full Service has always provided excellent service. They give me the information I need to make an informed decision, and whats best for my family vehicles. Occasionally you can be a YouTube mechanic and fix things, but when you need experts these guys are great. Recently I had a faulty alternator and stock battery needing replaced. I was a little weary about the vehicle and wanted their advice. They diagnosed the issue (alternator/battery) and the vehicle was fixed! God bless America.

I brought my car here for the first time to run a diagnostic on a sound that was getting worse and worse. I was quoted almost 600$ to replace my power steering pump because the pulley was going bad. They stated it needed to be fixed immediately and was not safe to drive and insisted I leave it for them to fix. I went with my instinct and declined further service as I felt that was a lot of money. I called 5 other places And they were asking half that price to fix the same problem. I finally picked a place all for them to call me and tell me that it in fact was NOT my power steering pump at all but was my alternator. As a woman I feel as though I was being taken advantage of and feel like if I would have trusted and paid this shop to fix something that wasn’t broken for double the price of any other shop I would have been even more upset. I’m glad I found the place I did and I hope in the future the mechanics make sure they properly diagnose things before trying to Over charge someone on something that isn’t broken.

They got me in within hours of my phone call, whereas other places estimated that it would be about 10 days.They explained that other issues could use attention, but stressed that my car would be perfectly safe without immediate attention on those items.The service fixed the problem, and I felt no pressure to add include the extra items.When those items require attention, I’ll go to Al’s to get them serviced.

I can count on 2 hands how many times they have lied to my face about my Mercedes-Benz. They spoke with such confidence as they lied about how they couldn’t identify my power steering leak (huge crack in the hose that was facing upwards in plain view with fluid puddling underneath it) They made me return and pay more money after I gave them $200+ to tell me they didn’t know what it was and that they couldn’t in FOUR VISITS figure out how to replace one light bulb in my taillight. They gave up and lied about it being a European thing to not have a light bulb where I requested a new one. 2 stars because they appear nice as they lie to you 👍🏻

Requested a quote for a labor only installation and that is not an option. Understandable. Ask for a parts and labor quote for the same job to be told they wont do anything unless I pay diagnostic charges. Reduced power and a noisy bearing speak pretty loudly for themselves with blower motors. Will look to a different shop that does not try to take advantage of folks.

Extremely disappointed. I took my car in on a previous encounter and was happy with the work but not today. I took it in for new brake pads for the front and was told on the phone that the front brake pads needed replaced and the rears were at 5% left but I should look into replacing those as well. Nothing at all was stated about replacing the rotors on either the front or the rear otherwise I would have objected. So I agreed to do the front and rear brake pads. Needless to say I was shocked when I arrive to pick up my car and both front and rear rotors and pads were replaced and had to pay the $700 for something I did not want done. Very disappointed in this business.

Now with their 28 point inspection, you have a digital record of your vehicle’s health history.Also a good place to get your propane fue.

Had a tire that was going flat . Have been going there off and on since you were on Johnson and Edgewood. You worked me in. Terrible way to start a Friday and on my way to work no less. Very friendly and did nothing extra without letting me know. Will keep you in mind and the fact youre open till 10 is a big plus.

Super nice group of guys. Awesome hours, had a screw in my tire and it was after 6, stopped in and seen they were open until 10 and let’s be real how many repair shops are open this late. I am so grateful I found this place. Als Full Service - in less than an hour - proved to me they are THE place to go in Eastern Iowa for Auto service. They didnt beat me around the bush, or charge what I was expecting to pay (much more) and show me out. They showed me the actual problem, and fixed a minor noise annoyance for an extremely fair price. Convenient hours, honest work, I wish I could give them extra credit!

Honest service and pricing; shopped around for a few services and these guys always come out with the best price. plus they take the time to really explain everything to a non-mechanically oriented person such as myself. they also let you know what NEEDS to be done (for the sake of safety and reliability) as opposed to what they could get away with charging you for. i swear by Als and have recommended them to many, many people.

Had taken my car in with transmission issues and told them to flush the transmission fluid in hopes that would help with the sticking issue. They did a diagnosis on it and called me back before any other work was done recommending I not go through with the transmission flush as it would more than likely make the issue worse. Didnt charge me a dime. Stand up trustworthy folks. Had a tie rod replaced before that by them. They did a superb job and had it done in a timely fashion for a competitive price.

These guys explain everything so well and are open extended hours. The office is comfy and clean. I definitely recommend them.
