I have tried on multiple occasions to do business with Sunline and so far havent gave them a single dollar. 1st time I asked for a part over the phone that they said they had. I showed up to pay for it and then they said they never even had it and didnt have time to check or pull it. 3rd time i tried for some oem hardware. And was told to just go buy it from a hardware store. Seems like nobody wants to or knows how to do their job. Highly recommend going somewhere that lets you pull parts yourself

Well they leave other car parts I don’t need attached which is lazy, if you are selling me a used part take some pride in your job or go get a new one. It would have taken you three seconds with a disc grinder or a damn saws all(as you suggested to me on the phone.)The price you charged me for a rusty part was only 5 dollars less then the actual brand new part(not a deal) so ya I’d say two stars is me being polite.

Nothing but bad service, poor parts and horrible communication. First I ordered a transmission, was told they get send out to a trans shop and get looked over which is inaccurate.They got me a replacement but still wasted days waiting and labor. Next I order strut they get me the wrong one and he guys bounced me to one another 3 days in a row saying his off. All starter with Garry. It’s been more then a week and still haven’t heard from anyone with the right part. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Couldnt find what I was looking for

Drove 20 minutes to find out that I had to wear a mask in order to sign in and get a hardhat. Apparently masks are required. But so our hardhats however they are willing to provide them but not masks. Was denied service, even though I called in advance and was not advised to bring a mask.

For more than 15 years theyve consistently let me down whether it be domestic or import parts Ill gladly never deal with them ever again...

They help me in other ways as well, as we both send each other customers when we cannot help them with what we happen to have in stock that day for rims, tires, service work, etc.. We bought a battery asked it was charged got in in he truck it was dead batteries wasnt charged had to go back to the store man was very rude and said we drained the batteries how by hooking terminala to see if truck worked it would of if the batteries had been charged

Called about a power window switch. Wanted to charge $50. I can buy a new one for $35-$50. I now remember why I stopped going there years ago. I cant imagine theyll stay in business much longer with pricing like that.

Called and ordered $500 worth of parts, was told I would be called when the parts were off in a day or two. Several days go by, no call. I called and asked about my parts and was told that they had no idea where my parts were and that I should call back after lunch to speak to another salesman. I called back and was told that my salesman would call me back IF my parts were ready and there was nothing more they would do over the phone. Not accepting this as an answer I drive an hour to their location and ask them about my ticket in person. Turns out all of my info, along with my credit card number, are sitting in a stack of papers on their desk and my parts were ready several days ago... All would be fine except they broke one of my parts so now I have to buy it elsewhere. If I wanted to buy parts from 3 different places I would have done so in the first place and not wasted my time with these guys. Time=money, these people obviously have no understanding of that. Not the first time Ive dealt with them taking unreasonable amounts of time to pull parts that come off in 30 minutes. Respect and friendliness are also quite lacking considering Im paying several hundreds of dollars for parts that are cheaper elsewhere. Shop elsewhere if you dont want to deal with B.S., runaround, laziness, and lies.

These guys are great! They are always willing to help you out, and maintains a high standard. I needed a replacement pickup box for an older truck, and one of their mechanics was out with me in their yard twice for more than an hour at a time. Their prices are extremely reasonable! Fun and friendly atmosphere makes you want to go back their again. Kudos to sunline for their exceptional service!

If Sunline has it then you will not beat their prices. They are very honest and their team all seem knowledgeable. Great personal experience anytime Ive dealt with them. Ive even sent my mother there on more than one occasion and they were honest and up front with her. In the automotive/parts/repair industry being able to send your wife or mother in on their own and feeling confident they will be treated fairly is a rare gem these days, but that honesty seems the standard practice at Sunline. Highly recommended.

I dont like posting negative reviews but this place left a sour taste. Called to get a rim for a spare tire. Had to go and look at the year of the car as its not my vehicle. person on the other end of the phone gets huffy and puffy because I have to run and look at the year of the car. After 5 minutes of him looking at inventory quotes me $85 for a rim. Asked if i could go into the yard and get it myself and they dont allow people in the yard. Went to the next place on google and got one for $45 and I can get the part myself to make sure its in decent condition. Overpriced and Rude.

Everytime I have had to go here the desk guys have always been negative. And phone calls arent much better. AVOID this place unless it is the only option. They treat customers like garbage

Its a simple place, its a junk yard, you cant be too picky at a junk yard. I find the people really relaxed. They are not looking to provide the most excellent 5-star service but they are looking to help whoever walks through their doors the best way they can with their needs. I go here anytime I think that they might have the part I need. Most of the time I call ahead of time and they will even pull the part out. To be honest, they are great people to work with.

Well I had been looking for a hood, bumper, and fender for my vehicle and I came across Sunline , called them and asked for information. Jacob was able to get me more pictures, was honest about the condition of the parts and was faired price. I highly recommend Sunline for any used part. Got my parts in great condition and when I realize that the inner Fender plastic didntcome with I called just to see if they had it not expecting them to ship it.. they sent it anyway.. thanks Sunline

Well I went in and overall they seemed nice. I was frantic and he seemed to be genuine about letting me know about when the part would be off and I was shocked because it would take so long and I needed it faster than that. But he just reassured me he was keeping other promises to other customers. I get that and thought that was awesome. He told me he would call me when he had the part. I was very stressed and came home and never received a call. So at 4pm I and asked if the part was taken off. The man said Yea its been of since noon. I replied in disbelief Well he said he would call me and I did not receive a call. And then to my surprise he said are you sure about that? You dont have any calls from us? I said No I do not have one missed call or voicemail. Then also stated that I would rush over and get it. When I got to the shop they were all giving me dirty looks and were very rude to me at this point. So I grabbed the part and left.. when I went to put the part on it looked like it was about to fall apart. The part on my car was in great shape even though the arm detached from the gear. Im so pissed off that I have to return this part and get a new one. Ill never go to sunline again. The guys are rude as heck and they saw the way the part looked and still sold it to me.

Very poor service. Called Wednesday to get a set of heads ready for Saturday and told them it would be Saturday before I got up there and they said no problem. After driving 40 miles to pick them up they are closed until further notice. They couldve told me they wouldnt be open but led me to believe theyre open.

They ask new prices for used part. Some of the people are great people but its not like it was when it was vandykes. The owner forgot his roots and wont allow anyone in the yard money hungry. Use to be a fun place to go and good prices. Most people who write post probably never do research or work for him.

I called and asked about a part and inventory was checked immediately. They did jot have it in stock, but told me they could have it sent to them. I was told the price and how long the wait would be. A pleasant exchange and great service.

I appreciate Sunlines great Customer Service. I was almost conned by a car shop into paying for a new transmission to have installed in my car. Instead I bought a used one from Sunline and it was way cheaper. Turns out the mechanics who checked my car were blind to the fact that it was only an broken Axel. Sunline accepted the transmission and I was refunded my full payment in return. Jason is 👏🏽 awesome !

Absolutely horrible place. Their customer service is lacking. Smells like dead mice as soon as you walk in the door. Walk in the door two people at the counter one decides to answer the phone instead of asking to help me the other just stared at his computer as I stood there and then after a couple of minutes decides to ask me if I need some help. Told him I was looking for a tailgate nothing fancy just needed to latch. Gave him info, before even looking it up he muttered he wasnt sure if they would have one. I did not tell him that I had already looked it up and they listed having a couple online. He tells me they might have something that will work but that his workers go on lunch at 12:30 to 1 and it would be sometime after 1 before I could get it, however it was 12:25. For those that dont know, this is a NO TOOLS REQUIRED part. Told him that I cannot wait till then I already drove 45 minutes there and was on my way somewhere 4 more hours away. All I got was Ill have to wait. So I walked out empty-handed. I have never had a good experience with sunline, theyre always the last place for me to look for parts, because every time I have ever been there they are always rude and lazy.

They are who they are I guess, I do like going out there because its an old nice feel, I like the old salvage yards. Sometimes they are hard to handle but hey we all can be, most of the front counter have been there 7+ years the yard guys well not sure the 2 new guys but the other yards guys have been there for 7+ years as well. This is a salvage yard NOT a new parts place. Some items are hard to get and most of the time they are not worth taking the time to get as by the time you pay by the hour to remove a used item you can get a new one way cheaper or the same price, oh ya used car parts brake and some items are not worth touching due to them falling apart as you get them off the old car. This is a salvage yard NOT a new place they deal with cars that people are hurt and killed in all the time, you have to remember that a used or wrecked car can have life threatening items in them and biohazard items.In the end they are kind rude but hey thats them,

Sunline is a good place to get car parts from, just dont call with questions and explain to be treated like a person. So with that i leave 1 star CONGRATULATIONS youve earned it

Good place to find quality used parts for a descent price

Spent half an hour looking over their online inventory, found a couple things that interested me, went in to ask them about it, and was directed to a stack of flyers on the edge of the counter. It wasnt really a flyer though, it was just a printed spreadsheet list of cars, dated 2 weeks ago. There were no pictures, and each car had codes next to it that would mean nothing to an average consumer (e.g. BE, LF, ND, which apparently mean Bad Engine, Left Front, and No Damage). I tried to find the cars that they advertised online on this piece of paper, none were on the list, and when I asked about them, they told me sorry, our online inventory is even older than whats on the paper.Update: I went there to buy some parts a few months later and was really impressed. Great, prompt service, and did what they said they were gonna do. Upgrading from 1 star to 4. Still wouldnt shop for a car there, but will go back for parts when needed!

Worst place ever! I actually had a guy tell me that the part I need is a pain in the but stuff, and Ill have to call when they have more time. like I know when that is. He said that for the price of this small part, its not worth it to them. I told him I will keep this in mind when I need to order the larger items as well, and will go to the competition going forward. He seemed perfectly OK with this. They also charge the same price as new product for a lot of there stuff. I am putting together a business plan for an auto shop, and I can definitely tell you where I will not be opening an account with once I am up and running.

Terrible customer service and communication. Most employees Ive dealt with could care less about working with customers. Been told they have parts pulled for me and show up, and nobody knows anything about my parts. Dont waste your time with these clowns.

We needed a rim and gave them year make and model, even the vin. Add they had us pay ahead of time before they would pull it off the van in the yard and said they would call when it was ready this was at 12-12:30pm Friday, February 8th 2019 and never heard from them until 4pm when we called and the said the guys the pull parts already left for the day when they were open until 5pm and today the next day they called at 10am and said the rim was ready, which they were open 8am-12pm. So I went to get it and take it to the shop where my van was at and they started saying did we ever find that rim yesterday, a guy said ya and brought out a rim but its the wrong bolt pattern and I noticed the rims look nothing alike. Very upset I had to get the van running for work today and I might lose my job cause they sold me the wrong part and took forever

Called them at 8am for a starter, great pricing, and I was 2nd on the list, gave them my card info, they told me it wld be an hour. I walked thru their door at 10am, 2 hrs later, and they told me they wont get to it til noon or so. Unreliable if u ask me!

I have yet to have a decent experience with Sunline. Slow, uninformed, and just generally unprofessional. I had my car towed at 2. Its 6, and no call from them at all. choose anybody else but these guys. getting a simple common part takes hours, and costs too much money, thats not what a salvage yard is supposed to be like.

Wow. These guys are awesome... every single one of them. I got screwed over royally by Wheelz on 16th ave, i came to them and got a great deal. In fact, i got a better car for less than 1,000 than the 4,000 i paid at Wheelz. Whether you need parts, or a car to fix up, Paul and Jordan will treat you right. They are honest, understand cars, and do what it takes to get you what you need.

Unprofessional. We were told our part MIGHT not be done until morning. Normally youd think that would mean at the latest. When I called, the person on the line gave me attitude when I was concerned of having them just leave the part outside and acted as though it wasnt his problem. I called satuday the person on the phone was unfriendly I wanted interior door panels and he told me he would call back monday, he called wednsday said they would be ready at three pm.They were wrong color I drove 100 miles to get them he knew that and got black I wanted grey. Would not get me right color gave me a twenty dollar beak on price for them.Not nice at all not even apologetic take it or leave it and drive 100 miles empty handed.Have to be last resort next time will drive to Minnesota next time.They are friendlier and try to get you what you need.All I did was show up they could of at least been nice and polite and get right part.

Car-part said they had two blue doors so I drove 150 miles to get one, but they said they had none. they were very rude.
