I reserved a vehicle for today at 1 pm.The day of the reservation, the order was cancelled.The man told me call me at 9 yesterday to confirm the reservation for 1 today.At 9 I called and he cancelled the order saying he told me come inThe manager is of middle eastern decent. His accent is very strong.My reservation is for 1 pm. Not 9 pm.

Wrong rental vehicle was given me because they failed to notice a broken drivers chair in the van I originally rented (until I showed up). Not clean outside, and didnt smell/appear sanitized inside for Covid-19. Fuel only 2/8 of tank. Charged TWICE as much as agreed and verbally promised/lied to. Then after requesting a credit from the national customer service team agreeing to refund at least $50, THIS office DELETED it. Dont rent here!

TERRIBLE service!!!! I made a paid reservation online. But I was busy with my work and called them several times with long holding time and nobody picked up phone !!! When I reached at the Hertz location to pick up my vehicle after 2 hours, I LOST my RESERVATION. They are so irresponsible. They should call me at least once before cancelling my reservation. Thats what Avis, Budget, Enterprise does. They should learn from them.Hertz people said very happily, they cant do anything with online reservation. But my printed details was in front of them along with phone number!!!! Unfortunately I have to give them at least one star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not rent from here even if you have no other option! I wish I could give a no star Rating! This location is the worst it NEEDS NEW management and staff for sure. First off they waited until 15 minutes before we were due to pick our rental up to call us and tell us they did not have a single vehicle to give us. We had the reservation for over a month. Then we were told they would transfer all rates and ect. To the vehicle we were put in after waiting for over 2 hours for them to find us a vehicle. The vehicle had the gold seal of cleanliness they put on their vehicles but it was nowhere near clean.. I believe Mitchell is the name of one of the staff and he needs to be replaced. He has no good customer service skills at all. Rude, and lazy. We returned the car early so we had no more headaches with this place and they still charged us for things they shouldnt have. We called to dispute and were told you can call our 1800 number. And hung up on us.

I was scheduled to pick up a car on Monday morning March 1, 2021 at 8 am. I arrived as the location opened however the only person working was a car cleaner and he could not lease cars. Both myself and another gentleman were told me had to go to Round Rock to get a car. This put us both behind schedule. Before leaving the car porter called the area manager but he had no resolution it was clear he doesn’t care just made excuses on being short staffed. The car was booked days in advance a phone call would have been nice. So I went to the Round Rock location and waited in line by the time I was getting a car I was running an hour late and needed to go to DFW airport to pick up my boss. The car had not been cleaned and because of delays I took the car as is due to my time constraints. The car they gave me was dirty and smells like someone had smoked in the car. We have a National Account with Hertz and I will let others know about my experience. I can also make the promise this is the last time I rent from Hertz. So I’m back in the area today went to Cedar Park location to see if they would exchange the car for a car with NO odors, they have a parking lot full of cars but was told we have no car’s! While in Dallas last week the car set in a parking lot and I had to get a company car to drive because of the odors in this cars.

Got a call the day of canceling it due to no vehicals.Then the one they were able to make available was dirty and i had to have detailed out of pocket to fit standards of clean.ANY OTHER OPTION AVALABLE TAKE IT. I am very disappointed with the service I received at this location on 3/8/21. Ive rented from here a few times before and never had an issue. The staff has always been friendly, professional and very helpful. At the time of pickup, 2/27/21, I was informed that the team would be changing, due to an internal promotion (congratulations to the gentleman transferred to Colorado, I cant recall his name) but I never expected to receive the poor level of service that I received today. There was a billing issue, and I was charged for a larger vehicle than the one I received. When I attempted to explain this to Derrick, he dismissed my question several times and eventually told me to contact customer service - which was even more of a headache- Derrick was unpleasant, dismissive, rude and simply unwilling to provide any service outside of closing out the reservation. He also attempted to charge me a cleaning fee for some crumbs that were left behind. Overall this was a poor experience and I will take my business elsewhere in the future. I caution you if you must rent from this location. Derrick should not work in customer service if hes unable to provide service.

I went in to pick up my rental this morning T the scheduled 8am pick up time and was told to have a seat. Several others came in after me and were told to do the same. I was asked my name for the reservation and upon realizing mine was an insurance rental they skipped over me to help the next customers with no reasoning given. 45 minutes later and the front desk clerk is speaking to someone else who is waiting outside about how long it might take. We walked out and asked and were told it would be another hour because they had no clean cars. So- they scheduled 8am pick ups and would rather have customers wait than manage properly and have employees come in early to get cars ready to go. I missed my body shop appointment and ended up walking out and calling to reschedule through enterprise. If you do rent through them, be sure bit to schedule a 8am pick up unless you enjoy waiting for several hours in a rental car pick up location.

Very poor customer service. I went in asking what the manager special was and it was a tiny impact car so I walked out. I decided to go back in and asked what suv they had and he didnt know I was inside and I heard him talk smack saying, she thinks she can get a Tahoe or something. He had no idea I was in there and I said excuse me! I will never choose any type of poor business that doesnt treat customers with respect. I know all about customer service as I managed a few retail stores. This is unacceptable behavior! Enterprise got my service and will continue to support them! I also contacted my AAA and told them the situation that they should not be choosing hertz. Read these reviews before renting!

I had such a great experience here! I went to the enterprise right down the street and they were SOLD OUT of cars. I called Hertz and within 15 minutes they had me in a nice car for a discounted rate. Precious and Briana were very helpful and I would definitely recommend going here over enterprise!

If I could rate this lower I would! I made an online reservation on December 19th and made arrangements for someone to take me to this location the next morning. I was already sitting outside waiting for them to open, when I received a call and message on voicemail from Marisa at 7:09 that my reservation was cancelled and there was nothing that could be done, she then hung up. The only reason I did not answer the call, was because the call was from an area code that I did not recognize. I called this Marisa person back and after being talked down to by her, she hung up. I called the national reservation number only to be told that I still had a reservation and that location had plenty of cars. I went back to that location, only to be talked down to again. I left and went next door to Enterprise and had a pleasant experience.I had an issue with this same location 2 years ago, when they charged my credit card an extra $600 for insurance that I did not request. I disputed the charge and eventually got my money back..Only because they could never produce the contract I signed.I will never go back to this location again and I hope they fire this Marisa person!

First, I reserved my car online and they only had sub compact or SUV, no midsize. I explained my situation, out of town, car broke down Christmas Day, and that I had to get back to Houston and would probably need to return it there. With her supervisor there, She said no problem and that there is a $10 fee and mentioned there may be additional charges. I specifically asked, what do those range and what have you seen? She said nothing more than additional $10 and she said shes been working there 19 months. The supervisor should have stepped in to clarify because she was quick to step in when we asked about liability from hail damage due to a potential storm that night.So cool, Ill drop in Houston because my car isnt ready and Ill rent another to come pick it up. Wrong, I call in to drop off and they said Id owe $860 instead of my original $280. The girl in Houston said shes been there 2 weeks and has seen inter city transfers from $60 - $600.I called different locations to check drop off fees and they told me the same thing the 2 week employee had told me. At this point I know I was lied to. I called corporate to be told there was nothing they could do and that it was up to the stores. I requested a corporate supervisor and was on hold over 15 min before giving up on themBe prepared to deal with BS rental contracts that put you at their mercy. They should have full, honest transparency with fees.

This branch has terrible customer service and terrible communication skills. They charged me $240.00 for an up charge on a car that was given to me because the model the insurance company was willing to pay for was not available. While at the location they told me no additional charges wold be made and my deposit would be returned. I immediately called to find out what was going on. They seemed frustrated to even be dealing with me and the problem they created. I asked if they would pay for any collateral overdraft fees I incurred and of course the answer was no. THEN THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD TAKE TWO TO THREE WEEKS TO GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THEIR MISTAKE! UNBELIEVABLE!! The branch manager was rude and short!! IF POSSIBLE CHOOSE ANOTHER LOCATION! This location is a not sharpest tool in the shed and very unpleasant to work with!Update: They still have not refunded me.Lmao.After speaking with them twice and on calm terms.Absolutely ridiculous.

Hertz is usually a little pricey but these employees are both helpful and considerate. It does take them forever to clear out the deposit when you use a debit card but overall it was a good experience. I just personally have an issue paying a base rate of $80.00 per day for the base model 2019 Kia Sorento.

Absolutely horrendous service. I called and made an appointment for Hertz pickup at 12:30pm. They never showed up to pick me up. I called at 12:30pm when I didnt notice anybody and they put me on hold for 49 minutes. Their excuse was youre supposed to notify us that youre otw. 1) that was never instructed to me. 2) what is the point of an appointment if I have to reconfirm? How am I supposed to call you to let you know Im on the way if youre gonna put me on hold for 49 minutes? I made a new appointment on Monday, but I dont see how this experience is gonna be any different? Absolutely terrible experience.

Great service and great vehicle! The Toyota Sienna that I rented was in very good shape, was clean and it was a no-hassle experience. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, they informed me that it was due a service and I had to sit for a lengthy while until the service was complete. But other than that, It was great.

Hertz was the rental company used by other drivers insurance company. Car rental was supposed to be fully covered by other insurance company, Hertz associate asked if I wanted Hertz rental coverage, and I said as long as it is covered by the insurance company and she said it was. Come to find out it was not and I was charged for coverage I would never need as I have my own car insurance. Either misinformed associate or shady sales tactics. Disappointing customer service.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Check engine light came ok with 3% oil notification. When I called the location as a courtesy and offered to bring the vehicle back I was met with confrontation and short remarks from a gentleman who refused to share his name. I was assured the oil had been changed and it was an error, yet Hertz corporate confirmed the vehicle had less than 200 miles before it was due for its next oil change. Imagine the engine damage that could have been done if I had taken this car out of town like I planned to. In short, the gentleman after our second conversation hung up on me and I am now on my fourth phone call searching for a location to fill my order due to his unprofessional behavior.

I rented a car at Hertz Cedar Park and the woman who was working there was extremely rude to me the whole time, I just didnt give up to get the car because I was late for a meeting. To make matters worse, they sent me an email stating that the time to drop off the car was 8am, I got there and the store was closed, they only open 9am. Ill never be back!

Gold member status comes no where close, to what they claim!Not to mention there are three levels of Gold that were never disclose; when I became a member 20 plus years ago!Today while at their Houston Bush Intercontinental airport, I requested upgrade while exchanging the rental I was inI was not only reminded of my gold status but told I would have to pay the difference.I was not satisfied with the answer I was given, so I made contact with Hertz 1800 customer service.I was put on hold for 30 minutes, while they located a supervisor.When he finally came to the phone, he also was unwilling to Accommodate my request.I left upset only to get 40 miles outside of the location, when my change engine oil soon comes on.Does Gold membership has its Privileges????Not if you ask me!!!

The competence level of the staff in the front is extremely basic. The response to even the smallest complication (eg not having the reserved car in stock) is to suspend courtesy and politeness. In summary: If you NEED a car, this place will do. But dont expect any more.

Even with phone check an hour prior to pickup still there was no pre-reserved vehicle. Unbeliveable wait time for manager to dismissively push a lower class vehicle for the prepaid cost of the original car. Fair staff, very rude manager. Could not leave fast enogh to end a BAD experience. Company still charged my card even though location cancelled transaction on site. I only found out by checking my card days later. I called the location and was provided a customer relations line to recoup my charge, 18 mins later, the nightmare was over. Save yourself the heartache and to go enterprise next door.

Be aware that they may cheat on your gas by not giving you a full tank of gas when you rent the car but when you return the car half full they would charge for the full tank.The manager at this location is great to work with but the folks there suck!

Worst Ever experience. I returned the car by and dropped the keys in the box. Next day i called and asked for invoice. They took entire day to tell me that they couldnt find my record.I gave all the details that they asked for, driving license, dob, type of car etc etc. I dont have words to express how poor the service was. I checked the website and i see the bill by just entering the last name and driving license number.This shows either they were just passing time or they were busy. Not the greatest customer service. Long waits, forgets customers, shows up without notifying you or calling you instead of getting out to notify you. Sometimes you can wait over an hour only to call 3 times and then be told you were never on the list to be picked up. Randomly charge you for fees that are not your responsibility. I highly recommend Enterprise if you are looking for someone professional. Or another Hertz location.

I requested a sedan which is $71 / day and they gave me a midsize car which is supposed to be a different rate. And when i checked the vehicle before leaving the lot there were no spare tire. When i asked for a spare tire from another car but same model i was told just call the 1-800 if anything happens. Smh. It wasnt the service i expected. I had no time to change my mind.

I booked a reservation for a rental car with Hertz because I had to get my car repaired. I was told Hertz would pick me up at 8:45 am on said repair day. I go to drop my car off at the repair center and proceeded to wait. When 8:45 came and went, I sat around for half an hour before calling. When I spoke to Olivia at Hertz, she said were short staffed, so Im not sure who is able to come pick you up yet. I asked why no one contacted me to let me know I would be waiting for over an hour (the repair center was about 30 minutes away due to traffic), and all she had to say was, sorry, thats all I can do, and laughed. As I write this, I am now waiting on Enterprise to quickly pick me up given the short notice, and I have sworn off ever using Hertz again. Its one thing if you fail to inform your customer of your shortcomings, but its something entirely different to shrug it off and not take responsibility for leaving a customer high and dry.

Very disorganized, the car I picked up had not been cleaned since the last rental. It took over 30 mins from the time I got dropped off to the time I actually drove away. It is a good thing that this was paid for by someone elses insurance, if I was paying I would not be happy. I would expect much better from Hertz.

Usually rent with enterprise they tend to have better deals, first time with Hertz. The guy who picked us up was friendly, but the car inside was a mess, filled with dog hair in the back. The staff at the Hertz office were a bit grumpy, the guy who attended us was impatient and rude. Not a good experience.
