Yea save yourself some time and avoid this place at all times, two months ago I came in for a free diagnosis. They took my car in and within 30 minutes “John” came out and told me my car needed a NEW transmission AND didn’t even tell me why it did. He quoted me 5-7k for a USED TRANSMISSION on a 12 year old car. Screw that, i went to A+ transmissions and get this, there was no transmission issue whatsoever more so a computer problem. A+ transmission helped me fix this issue I’d had (oh and it was free)since April and all it needed was the transmission reprogrammed and i haven’t had that problem since. Save yourself some time and go to an honest shop because amco truly is not. They profit off of telling people their transmission is bad when there is no issue. You will know if you have a bad transmission and they convinced me I did but i know my car. I will never recommend them to ANYONE.

The guy thats dealing with our car is a liar and hes a cheater and he was not tell the truth hes just out to get peoples money

I absolutely love everything about this place. John at the front office is amazing! When we had an issue with our AC we took it here got it fixed and then there was an issue with the part that they put in they went ahead and fix it for us and no issues no costs nothing! I absolutely love these guys and they do a good job with everything they do.

My truck needed a transmission and a heater core, Jon and richard took care of business finding them at a fair price and making sure it was 100% quality installed, even cleaned inner dash and changed rear main seal for good measure. 2 days since Ive had my truck back , it shifts smooth and no signs of leaks after a heavy trailer hual. Heater core is flowing to reservoir.

This place is awesome. I took my car in to get my breaks fixed. The pads and rotors needed to be replaced. I made an appointment and dropped my car off with John. Within a few hours he had an amazing quote for me which was half the price if not more then the Ford dealership gave me. On top of that, he told us it would be ready at 4:30 that same day and it was ready early. Ive never been to a car place that was this easy. No nonsense, professional and fair prices. The transmission recently went out on my vehicle and AAMCO towed it to their shop at no cost. Zachery at AAMCO provided great customer service and really worked with me on the cost. I have also taken it to AAMCO for other services and found the prices to be lower than other repair shops. I will definitely continue to take my vehicle to AAMCO.Update: I took my vehicle to AAMCO on 12/18/17 to have it checked out before we drive to Houston and they had me in and out within an hour. As usual they provided great customer service.

Super friendly and helpful staff! John really took the time to explain what was wrong with my vehicle, what needed to be done, and what options I had to get it fixed. They really care about their customers and make sure that the job gets done right.

John and his crew are top notch 5 star people and mechanics. My car broke down Christmas day and the next day I got it in I had a full diagnosis and plan. He even went above and beyond to check with the manufacturer on warranty and such. Being from out of town, Nationwide warranty was a must. This is a great place! I went here thinking that I needed to replace my entire transmission, having been told that by another garage. Once they looked at my transmission, they explained to me that I simply needed more transmission fluid, and added it right then. I was in and out within 30 minutes! Highly recommend!

These guys did a fantastic job taking care of replacing my brakes and performing a past due, Tune-up, that was much needed! I took my Nissan to get the transmission replaced and it has been running awesome ever since they worked on my vehicle. They offer a one year no interest credit card. They did loose my keys, but brought my car to work. Other than that they are awesome!

I needed some break work done on my car, so I called up AAMCO in CP. Talked to Zachary the manager who was extremely helpful. He got me in same day to see what needed to be done. I got there and was immediately greeted by Zach where we discussed my concerns of my breaks, then within minutes Richard the head mechanic brought my car into the service bay. While Zach and I were taking about possible numbers, Richard was inspecting my car for needs and measurements. What a great team effort to get what was needed. Measurements were given to Zach by Richard and then he was on the phone getting everything set up and parts ordered. Came in the next day and they knocked everything out in under an hour. Super impressed by the cohesiveness of this team. I will be going there for all my car needs from here on out!!! Zach and Richard went above and beyond for some other minor concerns I had as well. I made the mistake of making an appointment with this shop and lost two hours of my life trying to get a fluids service.... I am just thankful these troglodytes didnt touch my car... Because without even seeing my vehicle they attempted to rob me of my hard earned money because I am a female and there is just no way... No way... I work on cars... Instead of doing a fluid change ( I normally do this myself but I have been busy) they wanted to tear into my car without a quote (never do this.. if they dont give you a quote they will try to rip you off thousands.. its part of the scam) and see what parts need to be replaced (keep in mind they have never even seen my car) like my transmission control module... Just for starters... They pretend to be polite but wouldnt let me talk at all.. so my recommendation is to avoid this place unless you enjoy being stolen from. Now tomorrow I have to do my fluid change myself.. it will not take me two plus hours.. I will not replace perfectly good parts... Ever see the movie Deliverance? Remember the kid with the banjo? The entire staff seemed about that level if you get what I am saying...

I had some issues initially but in the end I feel like Zach made things right. I am so far very pleased with how things turned out. I didnt have a ride to go pick up my car and one of their mechanics came and got me. Also i learned a short cut to the shop!! Thank you Richard. Zach kept me updated on the status of my vehicle and when i had any questions they were answered in a timely manner. Overall very friendly and helpful.

Todd, the manager, was very professional, and discussed everything thoroughly before beginning work on both my Corolla and Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had two oil changes, a tune up with injector cleaning, as well as a brake job, and everything turned out great. I went in with a question about my Jeep periodically missing, and I was given a description of the most likely root causes. With those taken care of, my Jeep is now running wonderfully. I would highly recommend this AAMCO location, and I would suggest making the most of their knowledge by asking plenty of questions and educating yourself.

I first used this location in spring of 2016, Ive had 4 different occasions over the past year with different issues in addition to the transmission. Each time the manager Erik was very professional and got any and all problems fixed in a timely like manner, once even quicker than I expected!.. Pricing is very reasonable and these guys dont mess around. No need to worry about over charging and BS of that nature either. Ive taken my car to this AAMCO twice, once for a oil change and again for a overdue tune up. Had great service both times, the technician (Todd I think) spoke to me like I was a coworker, and gladly explained some of the more technical details that went over my head. When they discovered additional work that needed done on the car they contacted me before proceeding, and clearly explained what was wrong and what my alternatives would be if I didnt want them to make the repair right then. All in all this is a very professional shop with honest and trustworthy technicians.

My AC was blowing hot air so I try to put freon my self didnt work.. so took it in to get it fix cause I thought i messed up my air compressor.. aamco checked it out for me and told me just low on freon and told me its an easy fix they where so nice and friendly.. and they where super fast for being so busy.. I cant believe it took me so long to start coming here! AAMCO has been amazing to me; this morning I brought my car in to find out why my car was shaking after braking at high speeds. Found out my front rotors were warped, which I suspected, and though they didnt have the parts immediately available, Zachary (the manager) bent over backwards to get my car fixed that day. Whats more, they absolutely offer the cheapest services with the most straightforward explanations. I will absolutely be coming here regularly from now on, for all my car needs!7/17 Update - went to AAMCO over the weekend for an oil change and it was probably the cheapest Ive ever found. They were briefly shorthanded at the time, but still addressed all the concerns I had in addition to the regular maintenance. As always Zachary was extremely conscientious and considerate. I was really impressed with Cedar Park AAmco transmission. I have a very vintage(25yrs) Subaru vehicle. Transmission needed an overhaul. I could not find anyone who could fix it. The last mechanic kept my vehicle almost 8mos. and still was not able to fix it. Parts were very hard to find because they no longer making parts for that type of vehicle. Make a long story short. John Bernal the Manager and his crew were able to find parts for my car. Amazing no one else could. Im talking about at least 3 other shops.Manager John Bernal and his crew are persistent to get the job done and done right. I am happy with their work. My car now drives like new and the gears change smoothly. Wow amazing is all I can say.

The manager Zachary is very informed and also very helpful. I had an entire engine rebuild done here and they had it done in a timely manner and the pricing was significantly better than other shops I had been quoted by. I will not go anywhere else for my auto needs.

Weve had a great experience at AAMCO of Cedar Park. They repaired the AC. After the repair, it didnt blow well out of a couple of vents. They found the problem (not related to the original issue) and had it solved in about 15 minutes. Great customer service.

Ive been a customer of Aamco Cedar Park for over 15 years. These are the guys I trust with my cars. They are friendly and patient in explaining any issues with my cars. A few days ago I visited Zach and he took care of my 1998 Isuzu Rodeo transmission issue that turned out to be a bad wiring harness. These guys are the best at determining the real issues and fixing them fast. Highly recommend this shop.

I was a little hesitant to go because the last review on google was over a year ago, but I had went in the past and decided to try again! I needed inner and outer tie rods. They not only quoted me the best price out there but they got the job done quickly! Theyve earned my business and best part is no job is too small! Sent my daughter down for a simple fluids change... Without even looking at the vehicle they attempted to get her to replace parts on a low miles BMW dealership transmission not knowing she knows how to work on cars.. not like a fake Wana be oil changing parasite but actually working on car from welding in replacement pannels to full off the frame restorations.. the staff was so agressive with her she couldnt explain to them how incompetent they are.. she ended up leaving.. this shop thinks women are idoits and its positive reviews are paid for.. I would recommend hiring someone off Craigslist before going here.. what a joke.

I took my 2009 Impala in for its suggested extreme transmission service @ 150K and I was in and out within an hour with scheduled appointment made the same day. It was noted that my existing transmission fluid levels were way above what they should have been and I asked whether Jiffy Lube who did the previous service had damaged my vehicle and the friendly manager made me feel at ease by saying there was not. Also they did not charge me extra for the Dexcool fluid that is required. Great job and will come again.

I had service done here and everything went well. I made an appointment to have my brakes and rotars changed, as I was told I needed rotars as well. I showed up at my scheduled appointment time and approximately one hour later I could hear my parts being ordered! What a colossal joke this place is as well as two other places and the dealership said I didnt need rotars. Avoid this place like the plague., especially if you are a woman. This place gives all mechanics a nasty name.

I took my 2009 Cadillac CTS to AAMCO Cedar Park, Tx for transmission fluid and a new filter and the service was phenomenal!! Not only did they handle my initial service, they detected another issue that should have been detected by Covert-Hutto and Covert Cadillac 6 months ago!!!I am very pleased and I recommend the AAMCO Cedar Park location to everyone for their service/repair needs!!!! 😀
