Ive been an Allstate member for 18+ years in multiple states. In Austin, Ive been with the Dietz Agency almost 10 years. Thankfully, Ive rarely needed to file a claim but when it was necessary, they were responsive and professional. I recently requested a more detailed explanation of my policy and changes over the past couple of years and looking toward the future. Jessica was informative and gave me the feedback I was requesting. I appreciate that kind of customer service and feedback in these uncertain times.

We have never been so disappointed in an insurance company as we have with Allstate. We have gotten nothing but the run around about calling different number etc. initiating everything. Terrible experience.

I was moving from Alabama to Cedar Park, Texas. My son had used this agency and was happy with them. When I called them, Amanda Blair was very thorough at checking to see if they could do an empty house policy in Alabama. It wasn’t possible, but she was able to setup my car insurance for the date that I needed it. Then also set up my renters insurance for the date I needed it as well. She asked me questions to verify she was giving me all the discounts possible and advised me on auto pay to save more money. Very efficient, helpful, and if not available, promptly returned my calls. Great service!

This was my original review on yelp;Dietz and Assoc. sent $43.35 to collection on a policy that had been canceled. This agency never called or contacted me prior to sending this to collection. I have asked them in writing to contact the collection agency and retract this. They have not responded to me.Here was their response on yelp;All billing is handled corporately through Allstate nationally. We are a locally owned small business. In addition to the original billing document Allstate mailed we called and mailed on 3 different occasions once the bill came past due. When it went unpaid Allstate will attempt to collect the money for the coverage we provided. I am disappointed that you felt the need to publically downgrade our local agency because you have not paid a bill.I am disappointed that this agency is so willing to pass the buck. They never called me to discuss this matter. Although theyve indicated various calls and mailings, this is an untruth. Not once was I contacted regarding this being sent for collection. Services were not provided by Allstste as the policy had been canceled. I should not have been billed to begin with.Has Mr. Dietz bothered himself to pick up the phone to call a long time customer regarding this issue? Nope. I find it very interesting that despite my telephone call to his agency and my several messages to Mr. Dietz, he has never once attempted to respond or contact me. Yet, he takes the time to leave a very antagonistic response to my original review. Weve been long time customers. Wheres the customer service here? Run, dont walk.

Avoid this office, the worst service I have ever known,these people are unable to attend to the most simple of actions one may need.Allstate ,at this office,started off with reasonable rates but in two yrs time my premiums have gone up $200 plus,for no reason,except what they would probably explain as a rate hike,,they are the obama care of the insurance business.if you need to make a change on coverage,ya better go to them,it will not happen over the phone...I am shopping for new auto-home insurance...
