I was quoted one price for the work at $550. Roughly $137 per tax year I was having done. Even though my taxes were super simple as nothing was itemized. I had to pay $800. Which I didnt even find out until I was paying off my account. This rather large increase when I asked about it. Well when we file taxes for retirement it costs just a little more. 250 dollars isnt just a little more. $5 bucks per year for a total of $20 is a little not $250. No other issues, just being told one price and having to pay a completely different price at the end. Everyone there was nice, I just have issue with being told everything costs more at the end as Im checking out. Everything else went as expected.Whats even better is the response I got on this review, just sends me to the Main HR Block phone number. Not to anyone who can actually affect my experience. The guy who helped me knew nothing helpful and then hung up on me.

These people called me and said Im approved to get up to a $1000 loan towards my tax refund. I asked if they went by credit because I know my credit isnt good enough for a loan and she told me they didnt go by credit. After wasting my time with these misleading people, I was told I was not approved because of my credit. Once she saw They couldnt make any money off getting me a loan, she was in a hurry to get us out of the door. She never asked me if I had any questions, didnt invite me back to get my taxes done at their location, and didnt thank me for coming in. I will never step foot in another H&R Block as long as I live. Thanks for nothing. Your staff needs training in a lot of areas. For starters customer service at this location is ridiculous. They dont greet you properly when you walk in. All they say is sign in, and ask if you are a walk-in or have an appointment. Never saying hello or asking how we are doing. Simply rude!!!! I would recommend Liberty tax, Jackson Hewitt, or do your own tax return. But by all means stay far away from misleading companies such as this one.

My preparer was professional and seemed more concerned about my finances than the CPA I had been using for several prior years. Office Receptionist personable and all promised deadlines and dates were strictly adhered too.

My wife and I just left HR block after meeting with felecia. My wife and I have sat down with multiple people, searched all over turbo tax and IRS website and no one has been able to help us amend our taxes from last year. It’s been a tough year for us and fixing our taxes has been overwhelming. We sat down here and presented everything we have done and all of our W2s and past amendment attempts through turbotax . She asked if we had called the IRS 1-800 number and we said no. Then she laughed at us and said we need to do that first. This was completely insensitive and unprofessional.Getting this done affects a lot about our finances in a stressful time, and she was very unhelpful and condescending.
