Schwing Construction completed a deck for me in a few days as promised. The quality of the work was such that within a week later I had Schwing come back and complete a sidewalk project. We sub-contracted Stephens company to install pipe chases out of wood trim for a commercial HVAC retrofit job several years ago. I have also hired his company to do several interior wall and ceiling replacements in my home and my sons home. We recently hired his company to install an equipment concrete pad for a building HVAC system. Hes reliable and conscientious and completes his work as promised. I highly recommend Stephens company.

Steve Schwing has completed 3 projects in my home and has done a fabulous job on all of them. First project was a year ago when our basement flooded. Steve and his assistant replaced drywall, baseboards and pulled up the damaged linoleum floor. He suggested painting the concrete floor rather than putting down new linoleum which was a great idea! We were very pleased with the results. I had gotten several estimates for the repair work but Steve’s estimate was the most thorough and reasonably priced. We had Steve remodel two of our bathrooms next. One bathroom was completely gutted and rebuilt. We had a mold issue which Steve discovered the root cause and corrected the problem. The finished bathrooms are lovely and came out better than I expected. In October 2018, Steve remodeled our kitchen. He took out the old cabinets, floor, and two partial walls. Basically we doubled the size of our kitchen and it is now open and airy. Steve also put in an island and a transom window for us in a wall which had no window before. We really wanted some natural light coming into the kitchen. What a transformation! His remodel of my kitchen exceeded my expectations. Steve arrived promptly and kept his work area clean. He is such a pleasant and outgoing person that it was a delight working with him. He suggested ways I could improve my remodel project based on his expertise. I was most grateful for the suggestions and accepted his advice. Steve can tackle any size job: kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, build a deck, shed ramp, or simply odd jobs that you don’t have the time or skill set to do. You won’t be disappointed with his quality work.

Stephen redid our porch railings and installed a new railing for exterior steps among some other smaller to do items at an affordable price and in a timely fashion. Highly recommend him to anyone needing some handyman help! Very happy with the finished product.

I attempted to schedule a job for new concrete steps. I called and spoke to Steven, who told me that the job was smaller than they normally do and told me the minimum he would have to charge to make it worth it to them. I was fine with that, and he told me to text him pictures of the area to their business number which is also his cell. No response all day. That evening I texted again and asked him if we could set up a time. Still nothing by the next morning. And yes, I triple checked that I had sent them to the right number.If a job is too small and unworthy of your time, just be upfront about it instead of stringing me along and ignoring the texts you told me to send. I could have found someone else instead of waiting on you. Really poor business practice, because those people you ignore with small jobs will remember that next time they have a bigger job you would have liked to do.

I love the renovations Schwing did on our kitchen! By knocking down a wall separating our kitchen from our dinning room, they were able to connect the two rooms and make the space look much bigger. They also installed new, beautiful built in cabinets. Now, it is easy to maneuver around our kitchen!

We hired Schwing Construction to finish our basement. We had interviewed at least a dozen contractors and received bids from several. Steves bid was not the lowest, but it was the most thorough and accurate. He gave us great options and took the time to explain what he was planning to do. We built a bedroom, a full bathroom, an office, a gym, a huge storage space over the sump pump (creative), and a large open area for the kids to play. We even managed to build a bar into a bump out that has two mini-fridges installed. The basement might just be the nicest level in our home now. We constantly get great compliments from guests. I highly recommend Schwing Construction.

Schwing did a fabulous job renovating our family room. They put in new walls, a new ceiling with new light fixtures, ripped out part of our old bar and installed a beautiful granite counter top. Schwing was very attentive to our wishes throughout the process and we are very happy with the end result.

Stephen has handled two projects for us so far, and we couldn’t be happier. Great quality, completed on time, beautiful results....we referred him to our friends and will use Schwing Construction for future projects!
