CANT FIX IT IF I CANT HEAR IT. THEY ERASED THE FIRST POST TO HIDE IT. THESES GUYS ARE IN TRAINING AT THIS FACILITY. TOYO TIRES SHOULD GO ON TOYS I BELIEVE..THEY CHARGE YOU $30 FOR A INSPECTION YOU DONT ASK FOR. TELL YOU NEED NEW FILTERS WHEN THEY HAVE JUST BEEN REPLACED. tHEN THEY LEAVE THE FILTER COVER COMPLETELY OPEN. THAT IS ACTUALLY 7 TRIPS BACK AND FOURTH WHICH IS A HOLY NUMBER. I found out at bjs it would take 2-4 days to replace the tires on my newly purchased 2010 Honda Insight. I needed to do something’ about the one tire with a nail in it right away since it couldn’t be fixed. I took it to Firestone carytowne and I was taken right away no appointment. Found out I had oversized tires for my vehicle and they could shop around for the one tire. But I couldn’t beat the price of all season tires (4) that were the size my car had. I must have really needed them because the ride is 100% better. I think I will get my oil changes here too!

Great experience with the manager on Sunday, 11/15. Had issue with jeep Wrangler and he quickly saw what was wrong. Called the Apex store as he didnt have the right staff to repair. Had to get jeep towed to Apex store and they got me in even though they were busy. I was visiting from Charlotte and plan was to go home today. Was advised jeep isnt drivable and after the Apex store diagnosed and confirmed the issue they needed parts. Their quick help allowed me to rent a car before they closed at 12. If they didnt listen or waited for appointments I would have been stuck another night in Cary and miss school and work.The manager at Cary took me in knowing I had no place to stay or car to ride and even helped me get my daughter at the swim meet after it was over. Very pleased with the hospitality and glad there are still good people in the world to help others.Thanks very much from Charlotte.Jeep will be picked up Tuesday.Just saw the previous review and this seemed to resignate the same vibe of being a great person and actually care about people.

I called a couple of days in advance to make an appointment for an oil change and alignment before going out of town. When I arrived for my appointment I was told my appointment was actually for the following day (not possible as I was going out of town), and they wouldn’t be able to service my vehicle as they were short staffed. There was not a confirmation email or text when booking.I recommend booking an appointment online so you receive a confirmation or don’t bother coming here at all.

The Staff does such a wonderful job in meeting and greeting the customers, answering the telephones, fixing and repairing the cars, making each and every customer feel special and important. Tommy, Matthew, Mike, and Staff are very professional.I enjoy taking my car to the shop for maintenance. The staff let me know that I have chosen the right place for professionalism no matter how much of a rush the other customers may be in for their vehicles to be repaired and fixed in a small window of time. These guys do a wonderful job!! I live on the other side of town and there is a Firestone down the street from me. However, I take my time and my car to the opposite side of town where I know that my vehicle needs shall be addressed.I am thankful God sent me to them for vehicle service. My daughter is in school in Raleigh and I’m in Charlotte. She has used Firestone a few times and gotten fantastic, honest and fair service. She loves this place and as a mom that is very important. I trust them to take care of her car while she is away from home. She had it towed there on Friday because it wouldn’t start and by 9:30 Saturday morning they knew what was wrong and we had a plan. It needed a new battery that was still under warranty at a parts store. She picked it up by noon they got it started for her and she drove it to the part store so they could replace the battery under warranty. I talked with Mike by phone a few times working out the details and he is great at customer service.

On Saturday 06/22/2019, I visited Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 864 SE Maynard Rd, Cary NC 27511 regarding replacing a battery. The young man who assisted me happened to be the Store Manager, Mike German. We returned an Interstate Battery that was purchased sometime mid to late 2018??? The Interstate Battery was not initially purchased at Firestone. I was not aware that the Interstate Battery could be warranted at any Interstate Battery Dealer. Who knew!!!!I was prepared to purchase a new battery. I was not expecting the battery to still be under warranty and pay zero dollars.In Mike German’s pursuit of excellence, he far exceeded my expectation during my visit. He is well ahead of the curve in customer service because he took great care to make sure that I went away as a satisfied customer! I will return to this Cary location (864 SE Maynard Rd) for another battery, alignment or other auto care services.All too often we hear the bad & ugly customer service experiences and far less about great customer service. Mike is the type of employee that would be an asset to any business with his warm & pleasant attitude & product knowledge. Stopped in as had large nail in tire. Mike and the team were great at assessing damage quickly and if they could patch it. They were extremely busy with 9 other cars but managed to fit me in and fix tire. I was back on the road in just over 2 hours. Thank you!

I witnessed two grown men working here having a full blown argument between each other with customers in the waiting area, just because someone would not answer the phone. Plus, their cleaning could be a little better with the covid pandemic going on.

Went here for 4 new tires. Dropped car off at 3pm, told it would be ready between 6-7pm, as they close at 7pm. Called at 6:40pm as I had not heard anything, told it would be ready by 7pm. Showed up and my car was still on the lift and they were still putting tires on rims. They rushed the job, were very sloppy, leaving grease on rims, AND to top it all off, got my car at 7:45pm after waiting an hour in the parking lot, and got on the freeway to find I had a FLAT TIRE, they had hastily put the tires on and ripped a valve stem. No attention to detail, take no pride in their work.Returned the next AM for them to fix the problem. Waited another 2 hours. Finally fixed.Do yourself a favor and go to a different firestone location, or better yet, Bull Tire, a local place.

While this location sometimes seems to lack a high level of overall expertise due to apparent turnover, they have always been courteous and fair with pricing, so its a safe place if youre concerned about being gouged or otherwise taken advantage of. They were unable to diagnose a couple of problems I had over the past 2 years, but each time it turned out to be something the dealership had to troubleshoot - Firestone was at least willing to admit it was beyond their ability and they didnt charge me for the diagnostic work since they were unable to pinpoint it. I have gone to highly-rated mechanics in the area, and I either overpaid or had to return to get the work corrected because the garage was unwilling to admit they didnt know what they were doing. Sometimes this shop can be slow getting the work completed, presumably due to the aforementioned staffing issues, but with the cost and frustration of auto repair and maintenance, it is valuable to me when I find a trustworthy, affordable shop that provides a relatively painless experience.

These guys are awesome. I just moved to NC for work after graduating college so I’m not very financially set right now. Told these guys my situation and they seemed to really care. I brought my car in to get my rear struts replaced and to fix a couple leaks. They were more than helpful in ensuring I wasn’t wasting any money on things that didn’t need to be done now and helping me prioritize what work needed to be done. My car isn’t manufactured anymore so finding rear struts was a headache for them. When they tried to replace the struts the first time, the struts that came in were the wrong fit. They ended up calling all around the country trying to find the right struts. In the meantime they put my car back together so I could still be mobile while we waited for the new ones to come in. These guys were by far the best mechanic I’ve ever gone to.

They did a fantastic job and were really fast. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because one of the employees tried jumpstarting our car thinking the battery was dead instead of telling us. Our starter is a spring back that was installed by Ford. They could of damaged our battery which would have been a big issue. Thankfully I was watching.

On the way home from work I had a flat tire on I-40. I was towed to Firestone in Cary, NC. When I arrived Bob who is an employee of Firestone made me feel right at home. I told him I had just worked a 12 hour shift and was tired and ready for bed. Bob had my car in one of the Bays within an hour of my arrival. I needed a special size tire for my car. Firestone did not have those tires in stock. Bob went online and found the tires I needed at the lowest cost. He had the tires at the shop within a couple of hours. The minute the tires arrived my car was brought back into the bay. The work was completed in a timely manner and I went home to get some sleep. I would recommend this Firestone for its outstanding service and employees.!!

Called and spoke to Howard on Sunday morning at 10am. He didnt have the tire in stock I wanted, upgraded me to a better tire for same price. Told him I needed vehicle back by 1pm. He said well get it done. They were busy when I dropped off the vehicle at 10:30. I thought, not gonna have it back by 1pm. Howard called me at 12:05 - done! The whole time Howard was professional and pleasant. Even saw him superbly handle a less than gracious customer while I was in line waiting to pay when I picked up. Thanks Howard!

After a terrible oil change experience early of last year, I wasnt planning on returning. I went somewhere else when I was due, and was told they did not want to touch it and I should go back to Firestone and be very angry as they did a messy job. I returned to Firestone, only for them to say the other guys were just being dramatic, it was fine. So, I get my oil changed again at Firestone, only to have to go back two weeks later because my oil was leaking because they hadnt put the gasket on right (a mistake they admitted) and had to sit in there for two hours while they redid it. Update: The manager took full responsibility for his mens work, was very gracious, and I was refunded

Counter guy couldnt really care, thats the way it is. Okay, I said, just forget it. I hold a Firestone credit card. But not for much longer.Update: I saw response from owner about a month ago. Called on a Friday telling the cashier that my car had a transmission issue, she said to drop off the keys on Monday and the crew will take care of it for us. Came in on Monday first thing in the morning because I was busy only to be told that Firestone does not work on transmission issues. They need to better train their staff because they wasted my time. Had a screw in my tire. Tire was running low, this was the closest place to get to. They are under staffed and even though they was only one person in the waiting room they couldnt fix my flat for at least a few hours, I needed it done sooner. Went to a competitor a few miles away, they had a line out the door and tons of people in the waiting room. They got me in, fixed and done in less then 1/2 he and it was FREE! Gave 2 stars cause front desk was polite and didnt sugar coat the wait.

I took my car here when it was broke down. It was power module and sparks were changed after diagnosing the issue. I felt it was bit expensive and i was not having any other option so had to go with it. Since it is adjacent to shopping center, it is easy to spend time while waiting.

Dont go there , this place is a joke , I bought 2 brand new front tires and did the whole Alignment then my tires went bad and bold and when I return to them they refused to check the alignment and owner their service ...total lies and BS ...I filed a complaint with BBB and Attorney general office. Alignment was life time warranty and tires was 75000 miles warranty beside road side assistance.Seriously DONT GO THERE.

Typical upsell auto service... went in to have a tire repaired and came with a list of things I “needed” to replace on the car most of which I just did my self. One of the recommended maintenance work they had down was have my spark plugs changed. I was only there for less than 20min, 1) I know they didn’t check my spark plugs and patch my tire in that time (and do all the “other” checks) 2) if they did they would have known that the plugs were changed two weeks before. Typically I use a local shop for a tire patch/plug but was in a rush, if you’re not car savvy don’t use this shop as they’ll just try to take advantage of you. 2 stars not 1 because they got me in and out quick.

Everytime I come here they take at least an hour for an oil change. This visit is the last time I will ever go to a Firestone. I waited for over an hour on my car after I had an appointment, I come back to ask the status of it and was told they would check the ticket and let me know. They go out to the garage and then I see them rushing to my car to pull it in. Before I can tell them to forget it, they had already put it on a lift. So now Im stuck waiting again. So far its been an hour and a half. DONT COME HERE!!!

I took my car in to get a flat repaired (yet another roofing nail). In addition to the $40 they charged for that work (Discount tire in Winston-Salem repaired another with the same problem for free, btw), they magically found $700 worth of extra work that needed to be done. They knew I was pressed for time, yet they took extra time to look over my car, AND at the end of their long spiel, I actually had to ask about my tire (you know, the whole reason I was there in the first place). This is not the first time they have tried to upcharge me on everything. I am done - never going back.

This 5-star rating was completely giving based on the thought, care, empathy, and professionalism shown by Akeem ... Grant it, I did not have a bad experience, but at the same the quote time of 90 minutes turned into more like 180! To make a long story short ... I went for an inspection, oil change, and tire rotation ... Oil change and rotation went well ... inspection not so much LOL ... as I needed a new battery they removed the old one and put the new one it but that reset the system and as such I was unable to get my inspection on top of some other things that just kept delaying the process. Bu really at the end of the day everything was good, car run great, staff was friendly ... Im happy!

I dont think Ive ever written a review, but the service is fantastic here. Forest and Akeem fixed my emergency flat tire when I showed up 10 min. before closing. I had no appointment and they were slammed. Thank you!! They never push repairs, but comprehensively lay out what is recommended. Repairs are affordable and prices competitive. If you check the coupons on the website oil changes are generally $20 (best in Raleigh). I wouldnt go anywhere else. Do expect to wait a bit longer at Firestone than Jiffylube, but the service and price is much better.

First Experience was not a good one. I made an appointment for a pre-purchase inspection. I made an appointment for 3 and I got there and they said they didn’t even know when they would have time to look at it. What’s the point of an appointment when they aren’t even going to look at it? I would recommend you go to Techni-Quest Automotive Service instead.

Came here today for the first time, with an appointment to get new brake pads and an oil change. Had a coworker pick me up since they said itd take an hour minimum, probably a bit more. Almost five hours later and Id heard nothing from them, so I called to check in and spoke with John, who told me itd be at least another hour before it would be ready. John was extremely rude and short with me in each of the several phone calls we exchanged afterwards. They failed to tell me until I called to ask that I needed new rotors as well. I will say that John did send me a picture of the rotors as requested, but he was quite rude in each interaction over the phone. The repairs were ultimately done well, but I will not be back due to terrible communication. Others in my family have had previous negative experiences with local Firestones and warned me to not go; they were right. Wish I could be writing a better review.

Had an old jeep with a series of problems - they stayed with it and fixed it for a very reasonable price. Ill be back. Well I came back, this time with an xterra 150k ten years old. It had a lot of issues and Firestone got everything done to perfection. It was expensive but reasonable and more importantly, it was done right. The last thing to get done was a weld on the muffler system and they recommended R J Mechanical & Welding on 554 E Williams St Apex for that and that went perfectly. Well done Firestone. 02/04/2019

Took my car in because my service light came on. They ended up charging me an extra $100 to inspect my engine claiming that I asked for my check engine light to be addressed. The staff apparently “didn’t hear” me well enough when I described the problem. All I needed was an oil change but I ended up spending $150+ and my check engine light wasn’t even on in the first place.

My husband took his car there for two new tires. Nothing else. He started the car and found he had to enter a code to get the computer working. Later in the day, the car wouldnt start. Turns out they disconnected the battery and didnt reconnect it properly or even put the terminal call back on. Buyer beware!

Made an appt online late afternoon on Saturday for a Sunday morning 11:00 appointment. I got a call back confirming the appt and was told that the tires I was looking for were in one of two locations, both over an hour away from the store I chose. I picked one of the two brands available for my tire and was told no problem, we will have your tires in house to install. I found out that the manager actually went to Fayettville early Sunday (this despite knowing he would be short staffed with one employee out on medical leave) morning at 8 am to get the tires and be back in time to install them at 11:00. He told me that their normal Currier service runs later on Sundays and would not have been back in time so he took it upon himself to get them.Service did take a bit longer than I expected but it was because I had requested a cabin air filter change that they were waiting on. No worries there again since I had requested a Sunday morning appointment. Most stores would have told me they would not be able to get me in so I am grateful for the service provided.

Had a very unpleasant experience with their absolutely unprofessional staff. I had an appointment with them first thing in the morning at 7:00 for a alignment and they had me waiting for 90 miniatures (the job takes 20 minutes) without touching my car and then said sorry its gonna take another hour. While I was waiting there, the owner called two other customers and apologized for their bad service. I should have bailed out once I heard him doing that. Dont take your car there.

This is the most dishonest car place I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. Not only did they charge me for services they did not perform and try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn’t need, one of their own employees shared with me that the mechanics there had tried to dupe her into services she didn’t need. When you’re conning your own coworkers, you know you’re completely corrupt. If I still lived in Raleigh I would never visit this location again.

Went to Firestone for several different repairs/tires on our three vehicles a couple of years ago. It seemed that after each visit another problem would mysteriously immediately spring up; began to seem that Firestone would intentionally create an issue to necessitate a return. Becoming suspicious husband secretly marked the tires before a rotation under their lifetime rotation program; when we picked up car no tires had been moved. Took one SUV in for a minor repair, utilizing air conditioning on the way to the shop. On the way home air was not working. They denied they could have done anything, but would take a look. Upon inspection they said entire system needed to be replaced. Just got air conditioning repaired at Auto Performance Center in Garner - where we were advised caps were missing from HVAC system and it was drained dry. Glad we got onto them, just sorry we wasted so much time with Firestone.

They took responsibility for nothing and her family has had a Firestone account for 13 years. Horrible experience they assumed I knew to pick up my truck at 8 am but when I did not show up no one called I thought I was being nice by not consistently checking up on my truck and missed a day of work ...also my headphones are missing and now my converter box is no longer working and I verified functionality before drop off....I will never return again

Took my car in to get an oil change and a headlight bulb replaced, and left it there all day to get serviced. They call back stating that 3 other things need to be replaced. I go back to pick up my car the next day and they neglected to change the headlight bulb. Had to wait an additional 30 minutes to do something they should have done in the first place.
