Dropped in to do Murph while in town. They were all extremely friendly & accommodating - one of the coaches even lent me her own grips during the workout. Great space and equipment, friendly staff and members. 10/10; would recommend.

I am not one to really ever work out. I am more the type that prefers playing sports. I’ve had gym memberships in the past but sitting at a piece of equipment and doing reps on my own was never really my thing... My wife was actually the one that signed us up for CrossFit Brave and let me tell you that it was one of the best things that could’ve happened. The environment at this place is perfect! They treat you like family. They push you when you need it, find out what your personal goals are, and support and cheer you on all the way through. The coaches are the best! I don’t usually leave reviews but this one is well deserved!

Coaching staff is absolutely incredible they bring their own personalities into every class. Every class they spend time with each individual athlete during technique, skill or strength work making sure that you are lifting with proper technique if not they make sure to give you the cues to correct the area in which the technique needs work, this is the part of Brave that impressed me the most when I first started at Brave.

CrossFit Brave is THE place to be. Brave has been my *home* gym since I started CrossFit in 2013. Coaches Mike D, Ryan, Mike W, Alexis and Brooke are incredibly skilled at what they do and motivated about CrossFit and their athletes. They take the time to teach and correct proper movements to ensure workouts are completed safely and efficiently. In the 18 months Ive been at Brave, my skills and conditioning have varied (insert: school and military obligations). Yet, regardless of the shape I am in, I can always get a great workout in with the community at Brave. Everyone (and I mean everyone!) here is welcoming, caring and we pride ourselves on being a tight-knit community! If you havent been here yet, you MUST come by. Do it. Right now. ;)

I was extremely scared of joining a CrossFit gym or any gym really. I had seen the games, or clips of it, and was really afraid that I would not be good enough.I was, by nature, not any sort of athlete. When I started I had just come off smoking a pack of cigarettes a day for ten years. I could not run, at a slow pace, a 250 meter without having to walk part of it.I was never belittled or made to feel bad for not being able to do anything. I noticed in the class that everyone was at their own level. As time went on I have been able to do more and more of the movements. I get encouragement from Coach Mike and the other people that attend. We all help each other get better. Even now when someone starts new and have problems running a short distance I can tell them how only a short time ago I could not run at all.The box (gym) has all of the equipment that you need. The programming is varied and allows you to get stronger, faster, and more flexible.I recommend a drop in or a community class to any one that might be interested. CrossFit Brave has been one of the major life changing events in my life when I look back at the changes that it has helped me make.

Horrible experience working with cross fit brave. They have all the time in the world when it comes to taking care of you for the 6 week challenge. I joined with the gym after I completed my challenge. I was told and it was advertised that if there were ever something that changed we had an option to suspend our membership and then pick it back up when we could. Shortly after I joined I got promoted at work, and also at the time was starting 2 businesses. My hours changed and I requested to suspend my membership. To this day 5 months later they still will not acknowledge my request. And completely ignore it. False advertising and lies. There are a million other gyms to join. I would not reccomend this one. They only care about taking your money.

So happy to have found CrossFit Brave! All of the coaches are super friendly, encouraging, and have pushed me to get stronger and be healthier. They take the time to demonstrate moves correctly, individually watch each person and provide corrections if needed, and answer questions. Whether youre there for a CrossFit class or for a Bootcamp/Metabolic class, youll be in for a challenging, but awesome, workout. Overall great environment, especially for people who are newer to CrossFit, and I highly recommend Brave to everyone!

The coaches at Crossfit Brave are amazing and you can tell they all genuinely care about each and every person that walks through their door! The workouts are always fun yet challenging and I always walk out feeling so much better than when I came in. Thanks to a six week challenge with them I lost 10 lbs and 5 % body fat! I truly could not have done it without their guidance!

CrossFit Brave has some of the friendliest people and when youre doing some pretty tough workouts, its always nice to have the extra encouragement. I started through their New You challenge and over the course of a few months, I was able to cut my weight from 175 down to 158 while seeing muscle definition I never knew I had. I never once felt pressured to do movements I wasnt comfortable with and David has numerous alternative exercises you can do while youre getting your strength up. My all time favorite is the Metabolic classes as it is cardio heavy and a great way to lose some quick pounds. For anyone wanting good exercise classes or a consistent CrossFit gym to go to, CrossFit Brave is by far the best in the area!

Working out at CrossFit Brave is the highlight of my day. In full disclosure the owner, Mike, is my brother. I have known him his entire life, and he has always been dedicated to health, fitness, and helping others become better. I have watched him grow his CrossFit gym over the years, and I am so proud to be a part of the community he helped create. Some of my best friends and favorite people are at CrossFit Brave, and I look forward to seeing them whenever I work out. I even met my fiancé here! The strength I have discovered in myself makes me happier than ever, and I have CrossFit Brave to thank. It is definitely worth your time to come check this place out!

Joining Crossfit Brave has been by far one of the best and healthiest lifestyle changes I’ve ever made. The coaches, are actual coaches, their focus on technique and safety leaves nothing to fear for a begginner and allows for constant improvement for seasoned althletes to attain new goals. The community is diverse and inclusive of all walks of life and all fitness levels and you’ll find that you get the benefit of building lasting relationships along with sustainable healthy habits! Don’t expect a fancy lobby or high-tech locker rooms like boutique fitness studios - I’m telling you, even if that’s important to you, you won’t miss it once you start seeing results and feel like you belong to a community. Plus Brave has plenty of value adds. The owners really care about you and helping you improve your life - you can find awesome in-house nutrition counseling, physical therapy, massage therapy services and really cool custom apparel!Disclaimer- I am not an L1 athlete, although there are plenty of highly skilled impressive athletes at this gym, I personally get a great workout at a scaled level. I originally joined Brave as part of a 6 week challenge, a jumping off point for my pre-wedding weight loss. I lost a total of 17 lbs and a good amount of body fat! In addition to reaching my weight goals, I also learned a lot about myself. I am stronger than I think I am and I lowered my anxiety level by learning to count and breath in the workouts - CrossFit isn’t necessarily accedited for meditation practices but in a way, it helped me with that too! If you can’t tell, I am truly grateful for this community!

My experience at crossfit brave was fantastic. The group fitness classes really push you to be better. They are intense, but also cater to you skill level. You will be seeing results from your hard work within a month. They varie the workouts, so if you come at the same times every week, you dont end up doing The same thing over and over. The coaches are encouraging and really care and help you reach your goals. They foster a great environment where the whole class (at all different skill levels) pushes and encourages each other. Cross fit brave is great!

I started going here in August 2013, and have loved every second of it. Im a better and healthier person for it, and most of that is due to Coach Mike an his coaching style. No matter what your current fitness level, or your fitness goals, Mike will be able to help you get bigger, faster, stronger, smaller, thinner, bulkier, less bulky, or any combination thereof. The other coaches also provide the necessary support and bring a scientifically proven fitness regiment into a real world application. Every time I step into the gym, I see my best friends, and nearly the only people I want to hang out with. And hang we do - on the rack, on the ropes, and on the high rings. Im stoked to be a member here, and will always be back to let Mike push me to the next level.

Went to register for the free 6-week challenge they were advertising to explore crossfit. There is not a free thing about the challenge. At the initial consultation, they require you to commit on-the-spot to a $799 deposit that you can be refunded if you reach their goals (25lb or 6% body fat in 6 weeks) or $49/week ($200+/month) for 12-months. I was excited to explore CrossFit but was very turned away by this scam.

I love CrossFit Brave! The people genuinely care about you and encourage you to be your best self. I was scared to try CrossFit as it seemed very intimidating to me. I soon learned that CrossFit is for literally every BODY. You do not have to be in any kind of shape to be able to do it. Even though I may be the slowest I never am made to feel bad. Your teammates encourage you and push you through and want to see you win. I never really truly understood teamwork and camaraderie until I joined CrossFit Brave. Ive always struggled with sticking to healthy eating and working out. With Crossfit Ive learned healthy habits that will last a lifetime and have so much fun doing it. Its the people that keep me coming back. I am so thankful that I took the leap of faith and joined CrossFit Brave! One of the best decisions Ive ever made

If youre looking to start Crossfit, looking to find a new gym in Cary or even looking for a place to drop in while youre in the Triangle, Crossfit Brave is an excellent choice. The coaches are all very knowledgeable and willing to work with you on any number of skills and goals. The programming is typically geared towards both athletes just starting out and those prepping for competitions. And you couldnt ask for a better atmosphere! (Weve got bad jokes and dance moves galore.) Brave is the kind of place that will keep you smiling all the way to the PR board.

I absolutely LOVE this gym! It’s helped me feel like myself again! The coaches are so amazing and they truly care about each member of the gym and want to see them succeed! I was so intimidated by CrossFit but once joining the 6 week challenge I realized everything is about YOU and not comparing yourself to anyone else doing the workouts. Any of the workouts can be scaled and still be super effective! I’m so addicted to CrossFit now! At the end of my 6 wk challenge I lost 15lbs and 5% body fat!!! I joined he gym after my 6wk challenge and it was the best choice I had ever made. I always look forward to my workouts! No pain no gain is true but dang do you feel great afterwards! I used to be a gym member to the Y , fitness connection and planet fitness and I can honestly say I will never join another gym like that again. These coaches at CrossFit brave are not leading workouts they show the exercises and hold you accountable while your woking out! They offer boot camp classes and CrossFit WODs. If you are thinking about joining... DO IT!!! Best decision you’ll make!

At CrossFit Brave, the focus isnt money, retaining a large member roster or creating a handful of CrossFit elites. This is about you, what your goals are and how they will help you get there. There is so much knowledge between Mike, Ryan, Brooke and Woodburry that it would be an injustice not to share with those looking to make positive changes in their lives. To the coaches, your success is theirs as well. They will be as committed to you as you are bettering yourself.Theyre not robotic. They will effectively curtail their coaching to how you learn best, whats best suited for you to get the most out of that hour with them. The programming is tough, but not unreasonable and it is scaleable. It will kick your ass but you will be thankful for it, even on your off days.CrossFit Brave is a community, and most importantly family.

I stepped in to Crossfit Brave one year ago with knots in my stomach, intimidated by Crossfits intense reputation and a box full of unfamiliar faces. Mike and Ryan quickly put my fears at ease by gradually introducing Crossfit movement techniques and helping me scale the workouts to my level. Brave members were friendly and helpful from the start, and always helped me focus on the positive of my own potential. All the coaches at Brave ask is that you show up and do your best for the one hour of working out, for your own benefit. Ive never felt stronger or happier about my fitness level, and Im really grateful to the Brave family for helping me get there.
