Took my son there for his first dentist appointment since moving here, he was nervous but I was just as nervous! We were attended immediately and the staff was amazing. Tatiana was with him and she did an absolutely awesome job and he left happy and not scared for his next appointment. It’s decorated super cool and it’s just an overall good experience! Glad to have found a great dentist for my son!

Our son had a lip and tongue tie revision in July he was 13 months old.After a lot of research I found myself on Dr Ray Tsengs website and instantly felt he would be the best fit for us. Surgery was not discussed when we made the appointment. We were reassured our son would be evaluated first and if Dr Ray felt it was absolutely necessary we would discuss next steps or even alternative options. (And a plus, he took our insurance). A conservative approach was exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately after the evaluation the surgery was recommended and honestly even the day of the procedure we were still questioning if we were doing the right thing but we truly trusted Dr Ray and that is why we drove over an hour to see him specifically.The procedure went quick, the stretches werent fun, but were also quick.WE SAW AN IMMEDIATE CHANGE in his eating. Day 1 after the procedure and we knew we made the right decision. It was worth the worry, the drive, the stretches, it was worth it all and it was over before we knew it!High House Pediatric Dentistry treated us wonderfully and we cant thank them enough!

Our son had terrible tongue and lip ties, so at 2 weeks old we went and met with Dr. Ray and his staff. Everything was so laid back and easy to understand, but always professional. A week after the revision was completed, we saw a 200% improvement!! We couldn’t ask for anything better! Thank you!!

This is by far the best pediatric dentist I have ever taken my kid’s to!! Across the board exceptional service by entire staff and dentist!!! The dental hygienist even wrote the children personalized hand written cards thanking them for coming in and even included a personal experience from their visit! The kid’s were so excited to see something in the mailbox with THEIR name on it!My kid’s look forward going to the dentist now, and I couldn’t be more thrilled!The office has such a relaxed ambiance and decor is the coolest doctors office I have ever seen!

We took our 4 week old here for his tounge and lip tie. Dr Ray and the staff were so helpful and kind! The whole process was very smooth and follow ups were wonderful including having a support group on FB, body worker & LC at the time of the procedure... We felt so supported and the procedure helped immensely with feeding our little one! 100% would recommend 👏👏👏

We are so, so happy to have found this dentists office!I had my son going to a family dentist which was good but they suggested he be seen at a pediatric dentist due to some issues, including an extra tooth growing in. We went to another pediatric dentist and I wasnt a fan as they were bigger and we were getting lost in the cracks, etc.I found High House and I called and spoke to Stephany ( Stephanie?) at the front desk who was so thorough, sweet, and helpful!When we came to the dentist and met Dr. Mark and the assistants, I was just so happy to have found them.They are so kind and gentle to my son and they are doing the least amount of work needed and the least amount of invasive work... and we are doing a keep an eye on it approach with better dental hygiene at home for him.Thanks so much for being amazing! We had an AMAZING experience! This was our 3rd tongue/lip tie baby and this revision I felt IMMEDIATE relief and could tell her tongue was actually working correctly (after having experienced good revisions but didn’t feel relief for a week or two)!! The staff was also super patient with her and us and were great about not wasting our time since we’ve been through it before. I also love how with this clinic they are taking the data they are getting and are putting it into further research about tongue ties in order to help others and have a more data driven way to help people! Their integrative approach with lactation consultation and body work also produces the best and most effective results in my opinion because you have support from all 3 types of specialists!

Our two year old cracked his tooth to the gum line on December 23rd. This practice was posted as our normal dentists holiday on call office. Dr. Herring answered our call that night and scheduled a tooth extraction the following morning, Christmas Eve. Dr. Herring was great with my son. Too far of a drive to be our regular dentist but they were friendly and the office was really nice.

If I could give 100 stars I would! They are so professional so kind and understanding. They make you feel relaxed and they handle children so good. Kid friendly environment. I had a child with two broken teeth today on New Years Eve and hey responded quickly and assisted me every step of the way. Thank you!

Worst Experience - Never respected patients appointment time. I will never again go to High House Pediatric Dentistry or recommend to my friends!!

My sons are actually excited when it’s time to go to HHPD! Everyone goes the extra mile to make each visit a fun and comfortable experience. Dr Ray and Dr Mark take time to talk with their patients and families, you can see they care for the kids and enjoy what they do. The large space is also a benefit during these times, they’ve used it well to spread out and have taken the most safety precautions I’ve seen in a practice (dental or medical).

High House deserves all the stars! Their staff is super sweet and professional! They really make you feel like it’s about what’s best for your child and the care they receive rather than just being another dollar sign. The doctor was very thorough and answered all of our questions. My son can be very shy but he loved and trusted this dentist! Plus their office decor is a super plus !! I never thought I would comment on how cute a bathroom is, but it really is ! And they have a small door the children could leave out of that is beyond adorable!! Super clean facility as well. I would recommend to everyone.

The hygienists are all very caring and knowledgeable. They have a sincere interest in your childs wellbeing. The doctor is excellent! His calm demeanor enables my kids to be relaxed and have an easy experience. He remembers the details of past visits and makes me confident my kids are in good hands!

High House Pediatric Dentistry is the absolute best!!!! My 2 yr old through 13 year old go here. There are never tears! They do such a great job of making the kids feel comfortable and I love that they allow me to be with all of them! They are super sweet people and the dentists are very good to explain everything! All staff were incredible! Wonderfully inviting office that allowed my kiddo to feel at ease and happy. I cannot speak highly enough about High House from the care of making an appointment (and changes I needed to accommodate appt), intake efficiency with care, hygienists was friendly-caring-excellent-patient, Dr. Ray (at initial appt) was in tune with my kiddo and Dr. Mark Herring (for big procedure) was beyond the moon! Dr. Mark met every need without even knowing my kiddo. Dr. Mark walked my kiddo through each step with information (which unknown to Dr. M Is exactly what my child desires to be at ease), he was supportive, reassuring, encouraging, and his work was magnificent. The staff kept me informed each step of the way and follow up details... . .there are truly not enough words to describe the comfort and appreciation I have as a mom. Highly recommend!!

My kids love High House Pediatric Dentistry and so do I. Completely designed with them in mind with the train station theme, the journey being healthy teeth & gums and a radiant smile!The kid size doorways, thevtrain schedule, the dental gift bags, flavored toothpaste and toys - nothing was missed. The theme carried throughout the practice is make it fun, adventurous and nothing to be afraid of.My heart is set at ease seeing my kids excited to go to the dentist. And with covid entering the scene, HHPD did not miss a beat in spacing out dental stations, adding air purifiers, sanitizing stations and social distancing protocols upon patient arrival. I really can see, hear and smell their proactive efforts to keep their team & their patients safe.I also love that kids can be distracted with movies while having dental work... and it often entertains us moms/dads as well.Lets just be honest here: I wish this was my dentist too! Our daughter was tongue tied so we came here to the Tongue Tie Center to get a release. they were incredible! All of the staff super friendly and were very sweet and caring with our baby girl. They also allowed me and my husband to stay together during our entire visit. Since this happened during covid-19, that was such a wonderful, unique thing! I wish more offices would do the same. Families need to be able to stick together, especially through procedures. Highly recommend this place and Dr. Ray to anyone needing a tongue tie assessment and release!

Every aspect of our initial visit with High House Pediatric Dentistry was wonderful. From the ease of scheduling online to friendly/welcoming reception staff to the level of patience and tenderness our dental hygienist (Kristie) had with my 3 year old. Not to mention, there was a moment where the dentist (Dr. Mark) could have easily up-sold us on a procedure that I thought may have been necessary. Instead he assured me it was nothing to worry about and that we are doing a great job at home keeping our little ones teeth clean.I have zero reservations recommending this practice to anyone with kids. In fact, Ive already scheduled and prepaid (via their in-house insurance plan)for my sons next visit in September.

My son had an accident and injured his mouth. High House Peds Dentistry fit us in and took great care of him. They were kid-friendly and answered all of our questions. Great experience!

My son has autism and this is the first place I have ever felt like they genuinely cared for my son’s needs. I was explained all the possible options for his treatment and wasn’t pressured into anything we weren’t comfortable with. I highly recommend this office to anyone. The staff were all very friendly and professional.

I cant express how impressive Dr. Ray and his team are during the whole frenectomy process. My daughter has sensory needs/anxiety and she did not cry once during the procedure (they were so patient with her and used appropriate child friendly language). As an SLP/myofunctional therapist that has seen A LOT of revisions, I cant express how happy I am with my decision to have Dr. Ray complete the release for our daughter.

I am a huge fan and if they took adults as patients, Id be going there! But they specialize in kids and boy do they make them feel as comfortable and informed as possible. I have two girls who are afraid of needles and they were sooooooo patient and worked with them each and every time. Definitely recommend this practice!!

We brought our two week old son in for a lip tie and tongue tie revision. I was at the end of my rope with so many issues breastfeeding when we were referred here. Im so glad we were because Dr Ray and his staff were super helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The facilities are great and perfect for parents and children alike. There are so many thoughtful details at his office and also in the follow-up care. The lactation consultant on staff is great, as is their out of hours support. 6 weeks later, our son is able to nurse efficiently and effectively with no pain for me. We were able to stop using the nipple shield as well. Overall I am so, so happy we came here for my sons well being as well as mine with the breastfeeding issues we were having originally.It is clear Dr Ray is passionate about what he does and holds himself and his staff to a really high standard. We look forward to counting on Dr Ray as our sons dentist as he continues to grow.

Dr.Ray saved my son who had tooth fracture the other day. Due to the Covic-19 situation we had such hard time finding a clinic to treat him but Dr.Ray responded quickly and explained everything we needed to know so clearly. The most amazing thing was he was so patient with my son and showed a lot of respect and was flexible to his needs. I really can’t imagine taking my son anywhere else besides here. Highly recommend to everyone!

This was our first visit to this office, and I’m so glad we did. The staff were friendly, we got called back right away, and the space is very kid friendly and welcoming. The dental assistants talked my kids through what was happening and chatted with them about things they like. The doctor took the time to answer my questions and explain some issues with my daughter, what might happen in the future, and steps we can take now. 10/10!

Dr. Ray is the best, hands down. We are going to his office since 8 years with 3 kids, and it’s amazing how my kids are always looking forward to their next visit every 1/2 year. Gentle, caring staff, great office environment, and just an overall fantastic experience. Even though the office is always busy, you never get rushed, every question gets answered and your concerns will be evaluated and discussed. We are blessed to have High House Pediatric Dentistry in our life.

My 2 year old son underwent dental surgery with Dr. Ray back in April at the new Surgical Center for Dental Professionals. We loved the High House Pediatric office and the very cute decor and extra touches like screens above the children to keep them distracted. I was extremely nervous and upset that my son had such extensive cavities and Dr. Ray was so patient and kind in helping us find the right treatment options. He never pushed us towards anything and guided us every step of the way. At times we did have some difficulty with communication with the office staff, but over the time we were working on this treatment plan it improved quite a bit so I think thats something they have been working on. It turned out that even though we have an extensive insurance plan, they did not cover this procedure fully and Dr. Ray did everything possible to help us find an affordable option that would work for us as well as pushing back to our insurance company. Thankfully the opportunity to be a patient at the Surgical Center became available so we would not have to have surgery at the hospital at an astronomical price. The staff at the surgical center and Dr. Ray are fantastic with children and were showering my son with love and praise. The facility is much more intimate, private and comfortable than a hospital setting. He recovered from anesthesia perfectly and doesnt remember that any of it ever happened. He told me a week later when we went to his follow up appointment: I LOVE dentist Mama! Which was such a relief after all we went through to avoid any traumatizing association with this process. Thank you to the staff for working with us and making so many options available to your patients! Here is my son playing happily at the surgical center waiting area.

I really love Dr. Ray and all his staff! I took my 2.5 month old son to Dr. Ray for both tongue and lip ties, we had our procedure in a group setting with other parents/children as well as a lactation consultant and a body worker that assessed our babies both before and after the procedure. There was 24/7 access to support during the healing period as well as multiple follow up visits, which all made me feel super confident in both doing the procedure and caring for the wound sites during healing. Dr Ray and his staff were all really good with the children and always made us feel comfortable. I highly recommend HighHouse pediatric dentist!

I just change my children to high house pediatric dentist and frankly I regret not having done it a long time ago, I want to congratulate the doctors because they are very professional, kind, patient and love what they do they have helped my children a lot since the first day, my youngest daughter had a surgery in which the doctor did an excellent job and my son from the first appointment the doctor helped him with an extra tooth he had and since then the care they have given to my children is excellent I recommend them 100 percent since they are the best for my kids. We came here for our sons tongue and lip tie, it was an amazing experience. Dr. Tseng was very kind and knowledgeable. We have previously had our daughters tongue done as well and it was a completely different experience, in and out and forgotten. Dr. Tseng schedules follow ups so you are completely sure everything is healing correctly. Which as a new or experienced mom this is so helpful, because we always worry but it alleviates this. They also have a lactation consultant and body worker on hand to make sure the experience is completely rounded and you get the latch you are seeking! Would 100% recommend to anyone!!!

We were referred here for our daughter, we had recently moved and didn’t have a dentist yet. But so far everything has been great, they were really caring with her and the welcomed me as well which is always a concern when going to the dentist. Very glad to have been referred and I will continue to see them for our children.

The two stars are only for the nurse who worked great with my son for his regular checkup. When I asked her if everything is okay after she was done doing X-ray, fluoride treatment & cleaning, she said yes everything looks good but doctor would be talking to you after examination. Later when Dr. Raymond arrived, he didn’t even greet or say anything and did his checkup. After he was done, he mentions “very good checkup” and left immediately. Didn’t even offer to answer if I may have any questions or any suggestions. I’d consider going elsewhere if the doctors at this place don’t have time for their patients.

Lovely facility with wonderful play spaces in the waiting area. Friendly, patient staff. My three year old gets nervous but has a positive experience there with Dr. Ray.

Our 3.5 year old opened up to brushing her teeth after attending a brushing seminar at school and shortly thereafter visiting with the high house team for the first time. My husband and I were amazed that she opened her mouth wide, she was very patient, and ever since this cleaning has let us brush and floss thoroughly every morning and night! She likes going to the dentist now!

I love High House Pediatric Dentistry because they really go all in to make a pleasant experience for the kids. The office is so bright & energetic; they have the train station theme going on in their brand new location; and despite my kids excelling height, they still love going in through the kids doors. They get to watch animated movies while having their teeth cleaned; the hygienists have great kid-friendly toothpaste flavors to choose from and now, they have an awesome interactive video game in a special sensored room... ala Tom Hanks in BIG. My kids asked if they can come back everyday... to the dentist!! So, just saying, it speaks volumes about this practice, the ambience and care. P.S. ALWAYS CLEAN. Thats a deal maker for me. 👌

ABSOLUTELY loved the PROVIDER and the STAFF ! My child went in nervous being her first time and since the moment we walked in everyone made her feel like it was not a big deal and comforted her the entire time.

I cannot thank Dr. Ray, the anesthesiologist and all the techs who took phenomenal care of my son today. They did such an amazing job making him feel very comfortable and putting his fears to rest. Not only did they make sure my son was taken care of, Dr. Ray and the anesthesiology explained what they were going to do and answered all my question as well as providing me with what I should expect to see when my son would wake up and what the next 24 hours may look like. He also pointed out their emergency number just in case I needed them. The office staffed checked on me to make sure I was doing okay throughout the procedure and offered me coffee and water while I waited. After the procedure was finished Dr. Ray came straight to the waiting room to update me on how he was doing and the procedure itself. As soon as he was moved to recovery the office staff escorted me back to see him. They allowed me to cuddle him and gave us a moment to reunite. It was the best feeling. They continued to monitor him and allowed him to wake up on his own. They did not rush him out the door still under heavy sedation as I have hear from other parents at different dental facilities. Dr. Ray and his staff really care about their patients and treat us all as part if we are family. I’m blessed to have been recommended to him not long ago. I hesitated at first due to the 45 minute drive , but I have not had one regret. He is the best in the dentist hands down. Thank you Dr. Ray and all the staff who went above and beyond today and everyday. I appreciate your patience, your compassion and the love you show your patients.

The best experience yet at a dentist. Our son needed to have a tooth removed and we were sure he’d freak out or move during the extraction. He was calm and still and his doctor was very reassuring to him. His last dentist caused him to bleed during a routine cleaning and told us the tooth needed to be pulled after filling it. I am so happy we made the switch.

The team members were child friendly and family friendly. As a child life specialist this is very important to me. They engaged my 3 year old daughter in playful conversation, counted all the princesses by name in her mouth, letting her hold a stuffed animal during the exam, and were patient with her as she moved around a little in the chair. We had another great visit!

We visited for the tongue and lip tie clinic and found the office setting, staff, and overall experience to be top notch! We are still recovering from the procedure but feel confident with the holistic approach they use -pretty unique to the area. Love that they bring in lactation support and bodywork to ensure success. Dr. Tseng even offered to be available via phone over the weekend if we needed. Professional and very positive bedside manor by everyone too!

I believe that it is thanks to this practice that my girls love going to the dentist. Dr. Ray and staff are professional, friendly, and great with children. My oldest daughter has been going for a long time and loves it. My youngest daughter is two and had her first real cleaning today and it went beautifully! She usually does not do well with Drs, so that is really impressive.

My son had his frenectomy surgery here and I was really happy with his care. Dr. Ray spent a lot of time talking to me about options and my concerns in our first appointment rather than just pushing an agenda. We did decide to go ahead with the procedure and I’m so happy we did! It’s helped my son a lot with his issues and the follow up care has been very thorough. Dr. Ray even provides a direct line for contact with questions etc post op where I was able to text a photo and ask questions about the healing process I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to have the procedure

Driving from Jacksonville, NC to High House Pediatric Dentistry was entirely worth it for my son to have his frenectomy done. My sons speech has improved by 6 month age equivalent in just 4 weeks! He went from getting sick and having reflux problems that his pediatrician said was because of “allergies,” to not having reflux at all, eating food that were impossible for him to eat before and saying words we didn’t know he even knew. Dr Ray and his team were amazing. Dr Ray checked in on our son every day post procedure. This was like a miracle procedure for our family!!! Thank you Dr Ray and team for helping us when we were almost ready to give up!

Absolutely amazing. Dr. Ray is a very knowledgeable & compassionate physician. From getting us scheduled very quickly to providing evidenced base information post op for reassurance and peace of mind. So very happy to be a patient of such a wonderful dentist.

Dr. Ray and his team are exceptional! Our daughter has an oral aversion and Dr. Ray and his team never falter with their patience, compassion and expertise. We trust his care explicitly and value his opinion and knowledge about her care. The office is warm, clean and friendly and our tot loves to play there! We never have a wait time and are seen on our scheduled appointment time and feel Dr. Ray and his staff spend a great amount of time with us; never rushing us and always taking the time to explain, educate and give our wee one time to adjust to new situations.

The team at High House Pediatric Dentistry has been wonderful! My son has had a terrible experience at another practice and has been terrified of the dentist since. Dr. Ray, Dr. Mark and all the staff have been so careful and thoughtful in their actions that yesterdays appointment was a breeze. I cant thank them enough!

This place is apparently has enough customers that they have no regard for your time,.We had an appointment scheduled for some day in January. They called and rescheduled to March 19, then again to March 29 and they just called to tell us theyre overbooked again and wanted to reschedule it to sometime in May.again. They were completely unapologetic about it and when I told them well find another doctor, only response I receive was FINE.Stay away, if you value your time.

If you are looking for an awesome Pediatric dentist look no further. I took my daughter a few weeks ago. Dr Ray and his staff were patient, kind and friendly. My daughter loved being able to pick out a movie to watch and she got to pick a prize at the end of her visit. As an added bonus she received a thank you card in the mail from Dr Ray and his team letting her know what an awesome patient she was. She cant wait to go back for her next visit.

Awesome! We love everything here. The staff are all great with children and make them feel comfortable. They have coffee in the lobby and comfortable seating for parents. My kids can’t wait for their dental appointments 😃!! 5 ⭐️

My son, who is now 10 months old, received a frenectomy at High House about a month ago. I had emailed their practice in a desperate attempt to have him properly examined for a tongue and lip tie and received an email directly from Dr. Ray. We went in a few days later for a consultation and he was very thorough and patient as he examined my son and answered my questions. His knowledge and confidence in the procedure and process of diagnosis was very calming and reassuring. The procedure was handled professionally and I never felt like I had any questions that went unanswered or that I was being rushed through our appointment or follow-ups.I had such a great impression of their office, my 3.5 year old daughter just had her first dental appointment today. Her hygienist was great at making her feel comfortable and there wasn’t a single tear shed! She loved it and wants to go back every day, she says.Thanks you for providing a clean, fun, relaxed, yet informative atmosphere. Wish you did adults, too!

We couldnt have had a better experience. Dr. Herring, Ellie, and Krissey were all fabulous. My daughter had a broken front tooth from a previous injury and we were sent to High House for a strip crown. There was technically only time for a consultation, but my daughter had a presentation at school the next and was quite upset at the idea of having to do it toothless. Dr. Herring and Krissey went out of there way to stay late and work in between other patients to get the tooth taken care of. And the tooth looks fabulous! More than professionalism, it was an act of kindness that is truly appreciated.

Waiting area is lovely and interesting for kids. Short waiting period. Handheld x-ray makes it easier for young kids. Staff and doctor are courteous. Has nice giveaways which my son likes!

The only motive of High House Pediatrics is to mint as much money as possible by recommending treatment which is not required. I am writing this review after getting the treatment done for my kid at a different Pediatric Dentistry through one sitting of Oral Sedation with 1/3rd the price quoted by this office. On top of that I was cheated by these people by scheduling additional consultation which is not required and making me pay additional $$$ for it.I had the first doctor appointment at High House Pediatrics for my kid with Dr.Raymond. He was friendly and advised us to go with one round of oral sedation to get the whole treatment completed. We were happy to proceed with his recommended treatment plan. But the problem started when they scheduled another consultation with Dr.Jordan Murphy on an another day. I just dont understand why there is a need to schedule another consultation and charge me additional $75 for something which I never requested. Everything changed with the treatment plan provided by Jordan and she recommended General Anesthesia and told that the treatment cost will be around $8000. I just had no idea how two doctors from same office for the same treatment plan come up with completely different approaches( Oral Sedation and General Anesthesia). Of course the motive of Dr.Jordan was evident . I would advise everyone to stay away from this clinic.
