If you don’t know anything about computers, such as booting your old computer, backing up the hard drive, etc., they will charge you for certain expenses which is more than enough to build a basic working computer brand new. Of course, you can buy appliances and computers from Best Buy with a four-year warranty, thats another matter.

This is the second time I went to Geek Squad for help and was told I needed to leave my laptop for them to do problem determination. I use my laptop to run a community center. I cant leave it for several days. If it was not useable Id understand. My issue might be a quick fix which I could have waited there. This is a brand new laptop. Unacceptable customer service for which I pay a yearly fee!

They’ve had my laptop for 12 days now and haven’t even assigned it to a tech. They won’t answer the phone. The only way to make contact is in person. Since the store is 30 minutes away I find this completely unacceptable.

Customer service was nice and friendly and helpful like they always are but i was dissapointed that even being on the geek squad plan they said they couldnt do cable management or crossfire 2 graphix card because my pc is custom

I was nervous to get the hard drive on my computer fixed, seeing as I have zero knowledge about computers. They walked me through the repair, and I did my research on prices and information to see if I could find a better deal elsewhere. I ended up returning to have the geek squad fix my computer and I will now go back every single time I need something fixed. I plan to send all of my friends and family back too, these guys were so patient and so smart. If you are on the fence, I definitely suggest stopping in and getting your device repaired here.

Good products, some helpful staff who know their stuff but the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing when comes to follow-through with service.Bought a nice washer, explicitly stated I needed an afternoon delivery, and waited about 3 weeks the delivery date. No issue there. Was not in a hurry. Expected courtesy call before the delivery. When it came, I couldnt return the call. No one ever answered the store phone number provided, continuous hold. I drove to the store to confirm the delivery. Was assured it looked fine, should be toward end of the day, 3:30 or so.Next day, Best Buy showed up at my house before noon. I know because they left a note. Apparently theyd called that morning and left a voicemail saying theyd be early. That evening I tried calling the store again, but was still on hold after driving 20 minutes to the store and walking inside to find a bewildered manager. My delivery was made that evening. Efficient, courteous delivery guys.A few days later I get a call from Best Buy trying to schedule delivery for the same purchase. Explained it already had been delivered. About a month later -- no kidding -- got a call from the same store trying to schedule delivery again. Called the store manager who was monotone and didnt seem particularly concerned. I had my purchase already, right? Ridiculous. Love my purchase but service stinks. Hate to think how messy it would be if the product itself turned out to be defective. .

I had a terrible experience with Geek Squad. Long story short they do not honor their customers time or appointments. They are terrible communicators and the attitudes here suck big time. You could not pay me enough to use the service again.Geek Squad Mgt please go walk in a Apple Store for some inspiration!

These guys had my back. Ive had some complications with my camera being fixed but it ended up with an exchange for the newer model, cant complain about that! Also, I had left my lens on the previous camera and asked them to give it back (simple request). This took waay longer than expected, but eventually got it straightened out. Its been an up and down experience but overall Ive been happy with their customer service. They called back and emailed me to make sure my case was not forgotten.I was just honest with them about my worry that I wont have my camera for upcoming trips and photoshoots. If customers show some humanity instead of screaming demands, I think people are more inclined to help. Shout out one of their managers, Gabe, for working with me and making it happen. Thanks brother.My advice for anyone buying an expensive camera: buy the insurance, its worth it guys.

Ill NEVER go to Geek Squad again. Should have listened to other reviews! Waste of time and money to go there. I think I knew more about computers than the kid behind the desk. 2-3 weeks is a ridiculous amount of time to do what I needed. Either theyre understaffed or dont know what theyre doing...OR BOTH.

Service here is terrible. I make an appointment for 11:40 and end up having to wait in line with everyone else. If you have a feature to make appointments then stick to it and don’t keep people waiting. The lady in front of me made an appointment for 11 and ended up not being served until 11:50. Absolutely ridiculous. I may as well should have just stood in line and not made an appointment. This is terrible service.
