I cannot recommend enough for sonic device repair. I called store in the morning, the owner seems very knowledgeable of iPhone from internal hardware even to the price of apple repairing. By the end. They suggest me not to invest on repairing if I don’t intent to keep the phone for a long time. And they suggest me to go to apple might get fix for cheaper price. They are not about the money and they all about helping the customers. I personally wound suggest sonic device repair for all electronics repair. I definitely will bring my phone to them if needed.

I’m so glad I found this place. I took an old iPhone that had a home button that wasn’t working to a place down the street from here and was instantly advised that it would cost $250 (more than the value of the phone itself) I left and searched for other places and came across Sonic Device Repair in Cary. Bobby answered the phone and was SO NICE and informative! He let me know that the problem could be caused by one of two things but either way he would be able to get it fixed and the cost was more than 3 times less than the competitors price. I HIGHLY recommend Sonic Device Repair in Cary. I contacted them this morning on if they could repair a cracked IPhone X screen today and they quickly responded and told me to bring in the phone. I dropped the phone off and within an hour Bobby called me to pick it up. He is super friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained the screen options prior to replacing giving me great feedback in order for me to make an informed decision. Prices are very reasonable and quality is second to none. I used the Raleigh store last summer for a previous cracked screen so they were able to pull up my information. Both stores are great - the Cary store is just more convenient to me. Definitely would recommend this store to anyone needing this service- cracked screens.

Ive been hobbling along with my first gen iPhone SE with a cracked screen for years, as I like to squeeze as much value as I can before I add to the landfill and trade up for the newest and shiniest. Finally the touch screen stopped responding. I figured it would be super expensive to fix, so I flirted with the idea of getting a new phone. But there were some items that hadnt yet saved to iCloud, so I brought the phone to Sonic to see what could be done. Within 30 min, Bobby replaced my screen and I was back and running, all for the cost of a month or two of financing a new phone. Bobby said that next he can replace my battery to continue to extend the life of my phone until Im ready for a new one. Bobby was cool to chat with and super fast and professional. Bobby is the master at great customer service. Always fair with his pricing. If I have a problem with my device, hes the first one I called. He doesnt even service video cameras, yet I brought my professional camera into him and he fixed in within 20 minutes.

A lot of the time when you see all 5 star reviews you ask yourself if they all could be fake but I can tell you at the Cary location they know their stuff and are very honest and professional. I read everywhere that trying to swap out a swollen Surface Book Battery was not recommended and dangerous. My computer is no longer under warranty so Microsoft was going to charge me $600 for a refurbished one that only had a 90 day warranty. Bobby was able to fix my bulging battery for way less and it only took the weekend. We did get lucky because the part was available and he was able to get it overnight. Ive been using my computer all week with no issues. The new office they are now located in is also very nice.

Please dont go here. I got my iPhone XS Max screen replaced here and it has given me nothing but trouble since. I had to take it back to the location on 3 separate occasions, and it still has never worked properly again. As of yesterday, my phone completely stopped responding to my touch. My phone was in better condition when the screen was cracked. Pay the extra money and go to Apple. Totally disheartened.

My son broke the audio jack of his headphones inside of his chromebook. Because part of the jack was still inside, we werent able to get the speakers to play audio or use the mic, which he needed for virtual classes. Came here to get my iPhone X fixed, dropped it off then made my way to iHop, sat down for about two minutes then got a call that it was all done. Came and got it and it was working great but then the new iPhone update messed it up bc the LCD screens didn’t work with the new update. Came back and told him about it and he upgraded me to the next best thing and took off what I paid for the LCD to make it a super cheap upgrade. Had it for a week now and love it looks great, works great. Bobby is a nice guy and answers will all your questions with the most honest responses. Great guy and a great business 11/10.

I dropped my ZTE and got the power button crushed, and couldnt start my phone; I called Sonic Device Repair and ended up bringing my phone in the store to check since its not a common type. Bobby(my apologies for fail to memorize his name, but according to all the reviews his name is Bobby) took a look at my phone and quickly found the problem. We almost needed to replace the whole housing(aka the back of the phone) because ZTE is rarely used here and theres no replacing parts available, but Bobby tried really hard to fix and eventually made it work! I cant thank him enough for fixing my device since I have a lot of music downloaded in there, hes a really friendly person and even though I stayed in to wait for the phone to be fix I didnt feel bored at all. Overall a really nice experience, highly recommended!
