Had an appointment with a deadline to prep for a donation. The online check in didnt work, there was a line of people in the hallway, and no one from LabCorp was available to help or assist. Missed the deadline and had to leave before even getting inside.

I’m always uneasy going into places during COVID and I hadn’t completely woken up yet and the front desk was very rude. Curt responses and just not welcoming. I understand there’s a lot of people coming in and out but it’s so much easier to be nice than rude, in my opinion. Courtesy must be a thing of the past. The ones doing the lab work were much nicer but the damage was done upon arrival.

Front desk nonexistent. Will not answer phone or come to window. Stood 30 minutes to ask a question before leaving without anyone coming to the front to assist. Past experience with phlebotomists were great but front desk worker needs to be counseled on customer service or find another career.

Overcrowded office. Waited 10 minutes for someone to come to front desk. She could not find the blood test I needed; finally I had to help her find the test by looking at a PDR. When I returned to the lab with a urine sample, a lady was sitting in the test chair I had vacated a minute before, and she became very irate when I walked back into the lab. I and my Dr. are still waiting for results after a week. Could they be more incompetent? I dont think so.

I went in pretty nervous because I’m not the biggest fan of needles. However, the whole staff was polite and helpful. As soon as I got checked in, they took me right back and the process was seamless. I’ve had blood work a few times before but this was by far the easiest. I barely felt the needle and it was over in a flash. I’m very pleased with my experience at this LabCorp location!

A few months ago I started getting blood work done once a month. Monique and Felicia are always very pleasant, Professional and friendly. They work the reception desk , draw your blood and answer the phones. The check in process is very easy but you must remember to bring your lab order request form.

Hands down the best place I’ve been to have blood work done. Monique was wonderful! I always have problems having my blood drawn because I have ‘ bad veins’ and they have to poke me a lot until they get it right but Monique was able to get it perfectly right away! Everyone was super sweet and nice to me during my visit. Would recommend to anyone!

I’ve been to numerous Labcorp locations over the years and I must say this is by far the best one. Monique and Renita are the two individuals that assisted me and they both were fantastic. Thank you for the excellent service! I highly recommend this location.

Have gotten majority of labwork done here for a couple years now. Even with the Covid issues and making appointments online which is helpful for efficiency of my time, I find the staff consistently very nice, very professional. Results come quickly. Convenient location for me, and not closed during lunch hour as others are so helps with scheduling appointments. Highly recommend.

Absolutely horrible! During COVID 19, they had 10+ people crammed in a small waiting room. Then the check-in lady yelled at us. I was texted that my technician was ready, then had to wait for 20 more minutes surrounded by people. The technician was nice though.

When there are 3 workers of 1 race standing behind the glass and 2 of a different race standing on the other side, do you Really Believe it is Any Kind of Way Acceptable to use the term YOU PEOPLE?? No. Neither did I when it was used in reference to me and my husband (FYI: Witnesses Present and Noted). I wont even Address being Chastised because my Doctor (Evidently) didnt submit the request and I pulled it up in my chart on my phone. Then, of course, I had to call the doctor myself. Once she faxed it over, I was once again called up and told that the worker at the window did not Understand one of the tests..then she just SatThere. Again, she Expected Me to call (although she was the one confused). After I told her that She needed to call them (Im not confused and Im not on Payroll); I was Again Chastised when she completed the call because (Evidently) they dont Do this Particular test at This location (??). At this point I am shaking from head to foot and about to throw up (yes: I am ill with a chronic disease and have to take shots every two weeks and the testing is due to the Excessive Nausea and Hives I have been experiencing). Two more Calls with the Office Manager at my Doctors Office, then once more called up (behind closed doors this time) to --Once Again!--over what my Doctor Should Have Done...I explained my position, got No Apology, or Even Understanding, whatsoever, and One Hour after arrival, I left without Any of the 7 pages of Tests---my Choice. Seriously: would You have let them Stick you?? I Did not Expect Kindness, but a Modicum of at Least Common Decency would have been Appreciated. The People at This location have Issues with Hateful Customer Service and that Truly Translates to Pathetic Patient CARE. I gave it 1 star because I cant post with the Zero rating they actually Earned yesterday.

Overall, lab techs are pleasant. Sadly, front desk staff/reception are lacking skills. Slow to check in, three times now Ive come in and had to listen to them gossip about absent coworkers or crazy shenanigans that happened outside of work. And today, I got the pleasure of listening to both gossip and rap/R&B music that they sang along to. Just stellar guys.

Excellent pediatric blood draw. The phlebotomist was jovial and gentle. She explained everything to my child before proceeding. My child said it was less of a pinch than he thought it would be. The person working the front desk was professional and patient. We went just before 11AM midweek. Waited less than 5 minutes.

This place is the worst. I’ve been to other LabCorp locations that get you in quickly and efficiently. This place was a hot mess. I needed fasting bloodwork, so I didn’t eat all morning. But I sat waiting in LabCorp for 45 minutes, and I eventually had to leave without getting the blood draw. This was an infuriating experience- go to any other LabCorp but this one!!

I would not give even a single star to this location.I went for my twins lab test and from the get go the front desk lady who actually also supposed to take the blood test for my twins was rude and did not want to do the test at all.She kept on saying that you should have come in the morning OR if we cannot find the nerve you will have to take the kids to the hospital. When we went inside , my kid although crying , held steady and she poked the needle and when she did not find the nerve , she kept on drilling to find it. She instead said that my kid was moving all the time . I swear she does not know how to do the procedure.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE... ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS.

Horrible, horrible service. Sat for 30 minutes waiting for an appt because no one ever bothered to say that the online check in doesnt work on the weekends. Had a 930 appt that I checked into and at 10 they finally told me it wasnt working. So now I have to sit here with my 5 year old and keep waiting after i went ahead and made an appointment ahead of time and checked in electronically. Utterly absurd. If you can go somewhere else, do it. There is a quest lab in the same building. I would suggest you go there

I dont know whats worse, the new, seniors hostile, usability impaired Automated, Self Check-in where one of the units are down or the standing room only waiting room because their Holly Springs location flooded ... sending all their extra patients to the Cary location, sans the needed extra technicians from the same waterlogged location.Of course, this is all topped off with an hour wait to deal with a grumpy and not-so-friendly technician who made the fasting allll soooo worth it (NOT).

I scheduled an appointment at the Waverly Branch so I could get labs done during my lunch break. Because this location offered appointments when most others are closed I selected it. I had to drive 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back during my 1 hour lunch so I was quite perturbed when I get there for my scheduled appointment, check in through the automated system where it had all my information including that this visit was routine. The receptionist gave no care that Id scheduled an appointment and took a walk-in client, who didnt have any information in the system, ahead of me. I waited 20 minutes in the while the receptionist talked about lunches and got all the insurance information from the walk-in who didnt put in the system. I had to let them know I had to leave and cancel my appointment and I got on, Im sorry. Not only was this a HUGE inconvenience, but also a real let down because I hadnt eaten all day, I didnt get my bloodwork, I spent 40 minutes of my lunch in my car wasting my gas, and had to cancel/reschedule my appointment with my endocrinologist. Ill never go to the Waverly location again. What is the point in setting up appointments when you could care less about your clients?

I thought the person at the reception desk was not very customer service oriented. There is something about many of the people in the medical industry where they think they are doing you a favor by letting you use their services. It is kind of an attitude of just take a seat, we will call you, and no feeling that YOU are the customer.

Sorry for the novel...I had an awful experience. The woman at the front desk is extremely rude. I was originally at the lab at Wake Med Hospital across the street for my blood work. Because of a very imperative health concern, I needed my results ASAP. The woman at the hospital recommended I go to LabCorp at Waverly. She even called them to tell them I was coming, and because it was 15 mins before closing, she asked them poliety to wait for me. I got there about 10 mins to closing and ran in and asked if they had gotten a call about me. In a very nasty voice the receptionist said, and who are you?! I told them my name and started to tell them my reason for going there, and that I was trying to get my results back asap. She interrupted me mid sentence and very rudely said maam, I cant garuantee your results will be back in time. Theres a sign on the counter that says that, and I told the lady that called that, too. I was so taken aback by her rudeness I didnt even know how to react. She even told me that I was lucky I made it before 5 pm because they do not and will not stay open any later no matter what.I handed her my script and she couldnt find the right code in the system. As she tried to figure it out, she huffed and puffed the whole time. She was obviously annoyed she wouldnt be leaving work right at 5. I wanted to cry because at that point I had been all over the city trying to get these labs done, and I kept being sent from one place to another. In the middle of both her and the technician trying to find the code, it was closing time. They shut the lights off on me and locked the door so no one else could come in. When they finally found the codes (which I think are probably even the wrong ones) it legit took 2 mins for my blood to be drawn, and I was out of there.I work in healthcare and there is NO WAY I would ever treat anyone the way I was treated. I found myself apologizing to her...I have no idea why because I didnt do anything wrong. She had no concern for me at all and was so unsympathetic I couldnt even believe it.I will never go there again.
