If I could give them a less than 1 star review, I would. I dropped off a laptop on a Thursday with assurance that I would hear from them that day with an estimate. I did not hear from them on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. I called on Monday and was guaranteed I would hear from them before the end of the day. I did not. I left a voicemail asking to be called first thing Tuesday morning. I was not. I called Tuesday afternoon only to be told that their voicemail wasnt working...funny, it seemed to record my message fine...but the tech just finished my estimate. After I received the estimate, I asked them when it could be done. When I left it 6 days previously, I was told it would be a 3-4 day repair. Now, I was told it would be done 11 days from now. Im picking up my laptop and taking it elsewhere.

Dropped my phone in the lake for a brief swim. Eveything worked but the ringer. Took to CPR, they ran the diagnostics on it - advised me it could either be water or a switch (the on/off). They put it in their dryer and it solved the problem. All in the same day and $35.00

I went in to see if they could fix my charging port on my phone. After explaining what was going on with it the young man helping me asked to see it. He took back to the back and checked it out. After about 5 minutes he brought it back and said it was just dirty. He handed it back to me free of charge. I will be going back if I need any other repairs. Very honest.

Very nice workers, but hard to get a hold of at times. My XBox One X, which I purchased new, has only ever been worked on by this location. I had an HDMI issue rectified in March 20. The display went down again at the end of 20. At first it sounded like they wouldnt honor the warranty if it was the same exact issue, which flies in the face of what they state on their website about a lifetime warranty. It ended up that they couldnt find the issue and I was given back my dead XBox free of charge.Because it was already bricked, I decided to open the XBox for the first time. I found that there were numerous screws missing, as verified by a YouTube video, and that the clip that holds the heatsink down onto the processor wasnt correctly clamped down. Ive worked as a mechanical engineer at a consumer electronics company and know that some screws are used for purposes of electrical grounding. Is this why my XBox is now dead? Who knows. But it is irritating that my expensive electronic device wasnt handled with the same care that I give it. I also noticed some minor cosmetic damage on the outside of the case where it may have been dropped on the corner. All in all, nice guys, I just wont be taking my electronics there in the future.

SCAM! CPR tried to OVERCHARGE ME BY MISDIAGNOSING THE ISSUE SO I WOULD PAY FOR A MORE COSTLY REPAIR to replace parts that were not even broken.took in my mac laptop to be repaired. they overcharged me and said it would cost $500 because the whole motherboard was broken. Took the laptop to another shop, and they said the only thing wrong was the battery, and it would only cost $150.I would have lost all my data, as well. Also, they took a whole week to get back to me with just a diagnosis after initially saying they would get back to me in two days. DO NOT USE. my laptop is fine after only having the battery replaced by another store.

I have called the store 14 times since December 2019 and it is January 19th today. I visited the store and they told me that they would order the part that I need as the computer I bought at their store was still under warranty. As of today, I never heard back, was hung up on 3 times during a phone call, and the store now has no documentation on the ordered part. The computer is now out of warranty. I am very disappointed especially after having a wonderful experience buying my computer. I don’t understand why I am getting treated this way...

I took my iPhone 7 Plus in this week after it went haywire on me out of nowhere. It kept flashing the white screen with the black apple logo, just like it does when it powers on but it wouldn’t actually power on. I go to CPR for screen and other repairs bc it’s closer and more convenient than driving to the Apple Store at the Fashion Mall. Wasn’t sure CPR could manage this job but after several hours of tinkering with it, Sam had it up and running again! Couldn’t believe what he charged for the repairs too, I mean that in the best way possible. Very reliable and fair. Will keep going back!!

They really dont like answering their contact form or when someone submit a form for a free estimate despite the fact its hardly busy. They once try and charge me over $200 to repair my Android screen and buttons only for me to buy the needed parts for under $100 and all the parts were added to my phone for $45. Never go into this store without buying the parts yourself and document every part you bought to avoid them trying to blame you or the new part for not working. There are much better PC service locations in the Carmel area alone, just avoid this location if you have any sanity in you.

Tried to have a 5-year old MacBook Air repaired because of a bad battery and the damaged it caused on some parts of the laptop (some parts were swollen and the laptop can hardly close). CPR did their best to repair what they can, with repeated consultation with me along the way. Most of the issues were resolved but it needed a new hard drive which I was not prepared to spend on given the age of the laptop. Very satisfied with their handling of the case even though it took over a month to go through the whole thing, and was not able to save the laptop.

I had a problem with the speaker on my iPhone- it was constantly cutting out, and I couldnt have a conversation. I went to Verizon, uBreakiFix, and another mobile repair shop- they all said my speaker was going bad and it would cost about $120 to fix it. I happened to see the CPR shop, and decided to stop in for one last opinion. The employee asked me if I had recently updated the operating system, and it turns out that I had done this about a week before. He told me about a glitch in the update, and told me to just do a hard restart on my phone. The problem was instantly fixed. Everyone else wanted to cheat me out of $120, and he fixed it for free. Because of their honesty, I went back when I needed a new battery. They gave me a very fair price, and changed the battery quickly. Ill go back to CPR every time!

I am not sure why there are negative reviews for this shop. I was having cellular reception issues and was told by other shops that I need a brand new $250 logic board to fix my issue. CPR opened up my phone disconnected the cellular antenna and then plugged it back in and it is working perfectly. In addition, I was charged nothing because they fixed it during the diagnostic part of the repair which is free. I would have 100% have expected to pay the $35 labor charge but did not. They will be receiving all of my electronics repair business from now on. Additionally, I have not seen anything but positive employees. Great experience.

This crew goes above and beyond. I took my wifes iPhone 6S in for a routine screen glass replacement. The repair started a chain reaction of glitches that all seemed to stem from the initial glass repair. All told, I probably made close to a dozen trips to the store... They ended up replacing the phone TWICE, under warranty - at their own expense. That blows my mind. Just a genuine commitment to setting things right. Despite all the hassle around what seemed initially like a simple repair, these guys - Andrew, Grant, etc - put in a ton of work to make sure we walked away happy. Customer service is key - and this store has it. I pray that Ill never need to go back, but I know Ill be in good hands if I do.

I brought them a working phone with a cracked screen, a new battery, and a new screen to install. I left two weeks later with a non-working phone, a cracked screen, the old battery, the new screen with no box which (they threw it away), and an excuse. It was the aftermarket battery that damaged the phone, not us. The battery I gave them was a Motorola OEM and it said so right on the battery. When I got home, with nothing to lose, I watched the Youtube video and carefully took the phone apart. The clip that connects the motherboard ribbon screen was broken off. They ruined the phone. They are not professional. They are a bunch of bonehead kids who do not take responsibility for their screw-ups. You take your chances with this people.

Really not happy! I dropped a phone off yesterday to have the screen repaired with the intention of picking it up last night. They said it would be ready by 6. I didnt make it back before they closed (which was my fault) so here we are the the next day an hour before they close and I stopped by to pick it up. I really expected it to be ready since they promised it would be ready yesterday... it not only wasnt repaired but it havent even been started. The man behind the counter took no responsibility and told us he cant repair it because he has his own phones to repair. Cell phones are a livelihood in our house so unfortunately I took the broken phone with me. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this repair store to anyone who expects dependability.

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and ran into an issue with My SIM port and took it this shop to see if they could repair the issue.I hand them my phone with a screen protector on and everything seemed fine at first. When I return to retrieve my phone, I immediately notice that my screen protector was cracked and damaged fairly bad. I take the screen protector off and my screen is damaged severely. After checking the rest of the device, I notice that My biometric scanner, the sound, and the camera features are all malfunctioning. So I take it back and try to see why my phone was in such rough condition, and the man who worked in it admitted that he was in a rush and thats why the applications were not functioning. He takes my phone and fixed the camera and the biometrics, but denied any damage to the screen. (Bought the phone 2 days before taking it to shop) they didnt offer a refund. Didnt offer to replace the screen or anything. These people lost my business, and I hope they lose your respect.

They are great if they do not mess it up. And if they mess it up they just refuse to take responsibility.I took my iphone 6 to them for battery replacement which went great and I loved the way I was treated so I asked them to replace the screen as well which just turned everything dark. When I went in to get my phone, my repaired phone buzzed like crazy. Pressing one end of the screen made the sound go away. Any idiot would have known by then that its screen which is not sitting properly on the frame so I asked them to fix it. The guy just plainly blamed me saying “I could have been like this already” as idiotic as it sounded and I pressed on him reminding him that I had the screen changed and it’s the screen that is buzzing. That is when he just walked off bluntly saying, That’s all I can do leaving me with the attendant, a clear evidence of a looser who refused to take the blame of his mess up. The attendant just smiled apologetically at his behavior and told me that he cannot help. I told him that I would come back in the morning and talk to “other guy”.They next morning when I went in to get my phone, the issue with the phone was, behold, already fixed. But now there was a new gap between the screen and frame. “The other guy” explained me that my iphone could have “already been bent” and no argument to yet another blunt lie, I just accepted my phone back my phone and just left. 15 minutes in, I found that my iphone silent button is not working. I took it back again (my 4th trip to them) and they just refused again saying “they did not touch anything and it could have been already be not working”. I just refrained from contesting his argument as stupid as it was and just politely asked him to just open up the phone and see if there is something loose in there. He went back and then I overheard him asking the other how much do I tell him? the other goes I do not know $30 may be.He came back and told me yet again that there is nothing he can do and he would charge me if he had to fix it. Then he had a moment of genius and gave me a precious advice “just try to make it work the way it is or you can buy that iphone 6” by pointing and added “We will even give you a warranty.BTW talking about their professional work, I went in for battery replacement as it was showing “84%” battery health” and with the new battery replacement it should show “100%” but it still shows “94%”.

I have worked for CPR at the Carmel and Binford locations for the past 3 months. This so called business doesnt even deserve any stars. I have never lied more in my entire life working here. I would on a daily basis have to tell customers that we are still waiting on their part to arrive which in reality they havent even ordered it yet. CPR uses recycled and refurbished parts from customers that bring their phones in to get fixed. If the customer has a broken screen and the LCD still works, they will ship it over to their Binford location and have Kevin Vickerman refurbish them so they can us it on the next customer. For a good amount of time, this place didnt even have a restroom that I could use, no running water for that matter. They let their so called managers drink hard liquor when the clock strikes 5 pm. This is the absolute worst place Ive ever worked at.So, if you would like to have your phone or iPad fixed with refurbished and recycled parts, then this is the place to go. If you want quality work done I would suggest that you get that repair done else where. Ive never been paid on time once while working here. They simply do not care about their employees. I have tried to contact Terry Blake numerous times to see if he could give me a reason to why my paycheck was late, but he has never returned on of my calls or emails. This is a slimy and shady company. At least this has taught me how not to run a business. I am truly embarrassed that I had my name affiliated with this company for the past months. Dont waste your time and money at this place.

I cracked the screen on my Nexus 4 and investigated my options.Fix it myself: Parts $80 Time: three days to get the part 4 hours labor at leastMail in service: $180 with a year warranty Time: one business week turnaroundCell Phone CPR: $135 with 6 months warranty Time: About a business week.I went with cellphone CPR in Carmel, IN because of the price and location. I paid half upfront and the part was in by the end of the week and I had the repaired phone in my hand by Friday. I immediately noticed that the screen was of greatly a lower quality than the factory one I had come to know. It felt more like a composite polymer than glass and the phone itself was subsequently lighter. Fine I thought, at least the phone works well; this beats buying a new phone. However, as I inspected the screen more I noticed that it did not perfectly fit the phone and or was fitted poorly by the staff. I realized I could get a fingernail between the screen and the phone itself. This looseness was also noticeable when pressing the screen. It gave way a bit. This finally resulted in some disruption to the digitalizer and I promptly took it back.It took them another few days to get another part, about which I asked whether they were happy with the quality thereof to which they replied yes. I told them this fitting issue might be an issue with who supplies their distributor. They expressed confidence in this new piece which they installed. This second screen had the same fitting issues. I could still get a nail between the phone and screen and I noticed that I could not use my phone to browse while I took a call. I took the phone in again to address these issues. They said they could just adjust the sensitivity of my phone to the light that was getting in to the phone since the screen was poorly fitted, as opposed to actually fixing the problem.Eventually they ordered another (3rd) screen and when this arrived I went yet again to get it fixed. I can make calls and use my phone, but now I have white spots on my screen and the screen still is not properly fitted. They ordered another screen (4th), this time from a different industrial batch, but when it came in they concluded that it was as terrible as the previous ones so they ordered yet another, this time finally from a different source or at least I was told (5th).They told me they had the part. I came in and dropped off my phone with an hour left of their work day and came the next day to pick it up. Apparently the person who took the phone in did not leave any written instructions for the following days staff and they were unable to do anything with the phone. It has now taken over a month, eight visits, missed interviews and has still cost me $135. If I were you I would choose another option, perhaps just buy a new phone, try another repair shop, or resign yourself to the cell phone hell that is this institution.Years ago they responded to this review that i will stand by. They could have resolved the situation by giving me a refund. Also, notice that many of these five star reviewers only have one review associated with their account.
