Excellent all around. Robert and his partner were super responsive, professional, cordial, knowledgeable, responsible, thorough, and punctual. They really take care of you and inspire great confidence that your job will be done right. As this was during the pandemic, I commend both of them for wearing masks the whole time they were working. I had a minor issue after the job was done and Robert did not hesitate to come back to my house to make sure it was fixed. Pricing is competitive for sure. Highly recommend!

We had a major leak from an apt on an upper floor. Robert, from Tamarack Restoration, co ordinated the clean up and did much of the hands -on work, himself. He was competent at a number of different tasks, cheerful, honest, reliable and just a super guy. He kept me filled in on every step of the work, which turned out to be a monumental job. We really put him throughthe works, and he held up and accomplished it all. I recommend him and his company highly and without any reservations.

As an insurance adjuster I see people get taken advantage by dryout companies monetarily and demolish, ie removing item / destroying items unnecessarily. I had worked with Tamarack Restoration on a large claim and was impressed how the owner Robert took his time to investigate and dry out the place without destroying everything. When I had a water loss of my own, they were the first I called ! I had a water loss above two Full bathrooms with Brand New Tile showers. Since Robert takes his time he was able to find a way to dry the showers with out demoing them, which rarely happens ! He saved us thousands of dollars ! They came right over when I called, used the latest technology to see where the moisture was & even assisted my insurance company with the inspection so they didn’t have to come out. Robert also took the time to clean up after and put down protective materials on my floors.I would recommend Tamarack Restoration to anyone that need mitigation services Big or Small. Robert was extremely helpful, professional, and poignant. Scheduling with him was a breeze and he replied to all of my messages promptly. He gave a 30 minute courtesy notice prior to arrival which was greatly appreciated and was right on time. During his visit he followed all the recommended covid safety guidelines and was very clean and efficient! Couldnt have asked for anything more. Definitely would recommend him.

Rob and his team were excellent. I could not praise them more highly. We had a roof leak in our childs bedroom. Tamarack really took care of us. In mold remediation, thoroughness and timing are crucial. They were exceptionally professional: They came in; they got it done quickly and cleanly; and they even were able to detect where the leak came from- saving me hours of searching (and trial and error). They had great communication throughout the process. While I hope that I dont need Tamarack Restorations again anytime soon (as I hope we dont have anymore leaks), they would be the first company that I would call for any water damage and mold remediation.

The last thing we needed was a leak. What do you do when you see a balloon of water in the ceiling!!! Now what? Who do I call? Who is going to pay for this? I searched restoration companies and Tamarack was the first I called. I had no clue how lucky I just got. Very rarely am I happy with all aspects. Robert hit all my requirements. It is the personal service and no nonsense that make Robert and Tamarack a wonderful choice. I have had to deal with many plumbing leaks that amounted to mold growth and the resulting damage. I do not know of another service provide that does such a good job and in a timely manner. I certainly hope I do not need his services any other time, but know who to call if bad luck strikes again.

Feeling overwhelmed by the flood that overtook our kitchen, and surrounding rooms, Robert was welcome relief, arriving with mask and booties. With an upbeat, calming demeanor, he put our minds at ease, (at least for this stage of the process). He arrived soon after wed called in the morning. With his helper, they moved appliances, removed wallboard, cabinets, and flooring, where only necessary. Before moving heavy furniture, he very carefully removed family heirlooms from cabinets and found safe spots for them. They swept and vacuumed bare floors when done and protected the furniture by draping a big plastic sheet over it. His many powerful fans and HEPA filter machine did a great job drying things out and on the third day arrived right on time to collect them all.

Robert Wells from Tamarack Restoration came to our house in Point Loma for a mold inspection. Having a 1 month old baby in our house we were very concerned with the mold that we saw growing forming on our windows and the velvet upholstered chair in my office. Robert did a very thorough inspection and gave us some great advice on things that we could do to prevent the mold from occurring which we have already started to implement. Robert even checked the outside water pressure and found it to be higher than normal and made recommendations on what we should do so that we dont have any future problems with pipes bursting. Having the peace of mind that there was not mold growing in our walls and taking over the new house we just moved into less than 6 months ago was amazing. Robert was extremely professional and courteous. I would recommend calling Tamarak Restoration to anyone and couldnt be happier with the experience we had. If we ever run into any problems in the future that they can fix they will absolutely be the first ones I call.

I had a water leak in the garage from the hot water tank. Water pooled all over the floor and sprayed up on the ceiling and got in the drywall. Robert showed up right on time and wore a mask. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained what we should look out for and showed me where the drywall was wet. He hooked up a bunch of fans in a circular pattern to help with airflow, and also a dehumidifier. Within two days everything was all dry, and I was even able to save my wool rug! After three days, the fans could be taken down and my drywall was all dry! I was so glad I called Tamarack Restoration! Although I hope I won’t have any other emergencies!!

We had a leak in a house we are temporarily renting that turned out to have existed for a long time so mold developed. After one terrible plumber coming to fix the leak at the landlords request, Tamarack came in to review the mold situation at my request (mold is a little scary).Robert impressed me immediately. He recognized the poor quality work done already (as had I), and gave an excellent comprehensive review to the landlord and me. I recommended that the landlord choose Tamarack and happily, she did.Between Robert and his co-workers, they did an excellent job completing the plumbing needs, eliminating the mold, drying the area including placement of a house filter to protect us, and finally repairing the drywall and putting on a perfect finish.The landlord told me later that Tamaracks cost for the entire job was on par with the bad plumbers charge for an ineffective fraction of the job.These guys were outstanding, and after owning several houses of my own in the past, I believe Tamarack is the strongest contracting group I have ever used.
