Very prompt and courteous service! The manager, Krystal, notarized documents for us. She even courteously asked the FedEx courier to pause for us so that the documents would go out on time. I asked her why all the bad reviews on Google. She said that many are from a disgruntled former employee. Other bad reviews are from customers mistakenly leaving reviews for other PostalAnnex franchises. This business attempted to use camera footage proof to convince Google to remove mistaken reviews, but this was not permitted. Pity that Google shows bad reviews for this business, because they seem great. At least for a notary and shipping services.

My GoTo place for sooo many things! Always helpful, quick, happy to assist. Very convenient as well. Highly recommend.

We had passport photos taken, and they were printed on a little old home use printer, which is fine, but they were rejected by the passport authorities for low contrast. We had to have others taken at CVS and it was obvious that the quality was the problem. They were very helpful and friendly at PostalAnnex, but were out $36 for passport photos that had to be thrown out. Good customer service before, after is quite lacking.

There isnt a mailing location for miles, so I was glad to find this spot to ship out. Lady at the counter also reminded me about stamps, so another plus!

The customer service was very bad and may I say racist as well! I asked to get my notary signed and the lady completely rejected my request and said we cant sign this because we need someone who can speak Spanish so you understand better so I honestly was very offended because because she looked at me very rudely since I was asking questions and for her to say was just rude. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE I SUGGEST YOU GO TO A UPS STORE FOR BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE

So I read the reviews thinking... How bad can it be! Oh wow this place takes the cake for worst business ever! Their customer service is deplorable! I wanted to send some professional cards and the woman told me that they cant break a new roll and that Ill have the use the ones already open. I go to look and its the mother Mary and baby Jesus with the words Christmas above it! IT IS JANUARY! I cannot use those stamps nor would it be professional! When I asked why, the lady behind the desk was SO rude, and told me that I can either buy a role or take whats offered... I sat there and thought about it and just said no thank you! I did not want to give them my business. Do yourself a huge favor, save the frustration and go across the street to the UPS store next to the California bank!

So this is hard for me to write. I really loved this place until my experience today.. which makes me never want to come back. The saddest part about it, is she was the MANAGER! I came in today to give them my business, as per every week, but to my surprise someone else was working. She told me she wouldn’t put one piece of tape on my box unless I paid her $2, or bought my own tape. Can you believe that? And then, she said she had to charge me $2 since my box was 1.01 lbs with a pre paid packing label!! Nobody that’s worked there BUT THIS RUDE manager woman has EVER told me I had to pay for a small piece of tape for a box I’m choosing to ship thru this business to provide them with my business. What a shame. Seriously. I loved it here until I had to take my boxes and walk out. This would be 5 stars, but now I’m afraid I won’t be returning. And a side note, when I walked in, she was sitting on the floor on her phone. Plan on contacting the owner or this business to say my words.

Last week (7/15), I took my daughter to the Postal Annex in Carlsbad to take her passport because it’s one of the services they advertise.The two women there had NO CLUE what they were doing. They didn’t give my daughter any directive of what to do really. They told her to face the front but LITERALLY DIDN’T CARE to ensure her picture met passport standards. I couldn’t believe they thought the first picture they printed was sufficient.When I told them I was not satisfied at all, they said, “Oh yeah, she kept turning her head.”Really?! You work here, tell her to stand up and look at the camera, chin-up!The second photo they printed (RIGHT) was what we took to a passport processing center and they recommended a RETAKE.My advice to you: go to FedEx or a passport processing facility - NOT the Postal Annex.

I went to get information and as soon as I walked in, I was uncomfortable. The girls did not greet me and the manager was the rudest one.Well, I let that go and opened a mailing address because i needed that location.A couple days later I went to ask a questions. Manager interrupted me before I could finish and said....read your contract and was rude and started to walk away. I paid in full for a year and I cant believe the customer service. The worst I have ever experienced.My Fiance went there to sign paper work and said some man came in and closed it. (Needless to say, there is only 2 people authorized on my box). My Fiance argued with her and said we dont have one and changed her story to I cancelled. Anyway, long story short, she let someone else cancel it and insisted on we had a different number.If I didnt need this particular location, I would have taken a loss and take my business elsewhere.THE RUDEST AND MOST UNFRIENDLY EMPLOYEES.

I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here (did not think I had to for a Postal Annex).1) Had to pay $2 for a drop-off (never had to do this at any other postal annex. It is literally a drop-off.2) Purchased 20 stamps, realizing it probably was just a little bit more expensive - saw later I paid about $5 more3) Purchased two small items, one which I had to return 20 minutes later after realizing I had a duplicate. No returns allowed, only store credit.While I have understanding for small business owners, I am not impressed by the rules, fees or service at this place. Last time using their services ever.

30 Years there as a customer!!!They are honest and they take care of their customers; be it shipping, office services, mail boxes, or mail box deliveries.Over that 30 years Ive seen many dear folks come and go. The onething they KEEP is a STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE.Thats the great thing about the management that puts them a step ahead of the competition. I know - Ive had to use the UPS storefor Amazon returns in the adjacent shopping center.Talk to Ryan or Savana if you have anything you need today...

The customer service here is so horrible! Wait 20 minutes at one counter and they didnt even greet me or say Ill be right with you! On another visit also the lady with the blond hair to her shoulders and a younger Asian girl were so rude in helping me!!!!! Never coming back again.

I need the owners contact info. I dont think he is aware of how vile the girls are here at the Carlsbad location. They are rude and condesending. Ive been coming here for a year and quit a month ago because of how I was treated. I called to ask for the manager and Dolores I think, hung up on me. The girls you had before were amazing. So what ever culture is there now is one that views customers as a pain in the ass.

Rude, awful customer service. Was in a hurry and couldn’t make it to the normal post office I usually go to, not only was the price 3x the amount it should be but the package never even arrived. DONT GO HERE.

Im very disappointed. I payed $40 to ship my bestfriend her gift , so that she can have it before Christmas. The lady working promised it would be shipped by 8pm on Friday the 22nd. My friend still hasnt received it. I was promised my money back. If they dont refund I will not use postal annex in the future.

Not impressed I told the guy that I wanted to send my package on Fed Ex and he sent it on USPS. So instead of my package getting there in a few days it is taking six days. Good grief.

The most expensive place to photos. Do not go there if you wanna save your money. Two passport pictures per 17 dollars. That’s crazy!

I just tried to have a 3lb 3oz box shipped from Carlsbad, CA to Minneapolis MN and told the clerk I wanted economy/ground shipping. I was quoted $38 for the cheapest service, which according to her was FedEx ground. She did not offer a USPS option, so I asked her about USPS shipping and she said: the post office wants almost $60 to have it delivered in 6-7 days. Fortunately, I declined and walked away with my box, drove straight to my local USPS office and shipped the box Priority Mail-2 days guaranteed, insured and with tracking for $18 out the door.Beware, these people will rob you blind if you try to ship anything from their store.

They print, pack, and take care of all your needs with a smile :) Ill be coming here a lot for all my shipping needs

Place is laughable, they want to charge you 2$ Per package for amazon returns. Go anywhere else...
