I live in down town SD and will make the drive here every time I need service or parts for my car.Braie Young in service has gone above and beyond on more than one occasion to help me with my 997 GT3.Of the few parts guys I’ve dealt with, they are all extremely helpful and always willing to be reasonable on pricing.In the past having spent over a decade in the luxury dealership environment myself, I am always pleased with my experience here.

A mixed bag at this dealership. Ive had good luck with some salespeople (looking at you Kyle) and terrible with others. I had two different sales people tell me that a feature (tow package) isnt available on a 2019+ hybrid Cayenne. And they were supposedly Brand Ambassadors. The reality is that is available. You can check for yourselves in the Porsche configurator or on the e-hybrids that have it installed.On service, Ive had good service on my Boxster S. Recently bought a newer much more expensive Panamera e-hybrid that I had in for service. Service rep doesnt know the vehicle well: wasnt familiar with PDLS+ (matrix lighting) and told me that Voice Control feature could not be added. Yes it can; I had to bring paperwork to prove it to him.They kept my car 3 days for a PCM issue, and I got it back with the comment, You have to have a paid account for that to work. I do have that paid account and I told you about it. You could have asked during the three days it was in the shop and I would have gladly told you again. So my problem isnt fixed. Im trying to work through PCNA too and they sent a response about a SiriusXM problem, a problem which I dont have. Seriously, if youll pardon the pun.The dealership has sent me several texts and emails asking for a review of them. I have responded to the texts and emails from the service manager and others and have left voicemail indicating that Im not satisfied. Its been a week. Crickets. The Porsche Carlsbad blurb that presumably they wrote is: Porsche Carlsbad treats the needs of each individual customer with paramount concern. We know that you have high expectations, and as a car dealer we enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding those standards.... Im not seeing it. Time to try another dealership?

The Porsche buying experience with santiago was a very poor experience for me. He is a very arrogant and rude person, who jumps to conclusions when the person is on the fence about making the purchase. No professionalism, he said he is a 20 year man and I chuckled. Told me I wasn’t serious about buying the car and talked down to me. A bottom feeder salesman talking to me like this? AVOID SANTIAGO AT ALL COSTS

I’ve been going to Porsche Carlsbad for a year now and I can confidently say that they provide the best end-to-end experience than any Porsche dealership in SoCal. No questions asked, Shaun would do whatever he could to work with my schedule or even send a driver down to my office to pick up my car. As a female purchaser, there is usually some expectation on my part that especially at a car dealer, the salesperson would speak to my husband or defer to him. I purchased a Carrera S from Kyle at Carlsbad and traded in an Audi. I live in Santa Barbara so bought the car site unseen, and since were in the middle of the pandemic, I wanted to make the interaction as brief as possible. Took my car in for a cleaning detail and some minor repairs. Outstanding work and service by Shaun and the whole service department. Wasn’t expecting much due to all the obstacles Covid has created for us all but top notch service was completed before I realistically expected it to be done. I purchased two vehicles from this dealership previously and had a great experience. Last week I had a flat on one of my tires so took it to the service department. I forgot my phone charger so could not charge my phone. Chris at the Sales Department went out of his way to get me a charger. He first went around the dealership to find a charger but no one had a charger compatible to my phone. He then went to the store and purchased one for me. I offered to reimburse him but he declined. Talk about great service. Thank you Chris. You should get a promotion for great customer service.

I truly felt compelled to leave Porsche Carlsbad a review purely due to the experience we had. I initially contacted Dieter about the car but was helped by both Dieter and Keith during the sale of the car as well as the test drive. They are both immensely helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful. I cant vouch for them enough. We have been to many dealerships and have never felt so accommodated and comfortable. We went to 4 other Porsche dealerships in Southern California during our search and most of them left a poor impression (quickly at that). We made the trek to San Diego from Los Angeles not only because they had the car we wanted but because I trusted Dieter just from our conversations over the phone.Dieter and Keith really nailed the buying process for a couple of reasons. Most sales people Ive encountered will say anything to sell the car usually ending up in a bunch of empty promises. The car I bought was not an easy car to sell for reasons that Im not going to list. Long story short, everything that Dieter and Keith promised they followed through on. No empty promises here. They were also extremely knowledgeable. I am a car enthusiast myself and a bit of a psychopath when it comes to researching my purchase. I sometimes will ask questions I already know the answer to just to see what the sales persons response is. Often times I find myself to be more knowledgeable than the sales person, and more often than not I find them throwing out bs responses when they actually dont know the answer. Dieter and Keith literally knew everything about the car. Without a doubt, they were much more knowledgeable than I was. The only question that stumped them was the exact end dates of the existing warranties. However, this was easily remedied by looking it up and printing it out. Plus no one would know the end dates of existing warranties on all vehicles. That would be silly. Throughout the entire process we never found ourselves waiting for anything. Dieter and Keith kept the process moving very smoothly even if they had to simultaneously deal with other customers as we were there. I never felt as if they were leaving us waiting or deprioritizing our sale. Every step of the way things were just always ready to go.Id also love to give a shoutout to Sandy in Finance. She helped us finish the paper work very quickly and thoroughly walked us through every detail. We didnt feel pressured by her and felt that she was extremely honest and candid about everything. Also, check our her awesome ring if you get a chance. She designed it herself!To sum it up, I just want to say that we had a wonderful experience here at Porsche Carlsbad. If youre in the market for a Porsche and are nearby I highly recommend making the trek and giving the team here a chance. You wont regret it. I think we may have bought the lowest priced vehicle (pre-owned) on the lot but they honestly treated us as if we had just bought a 992 turbo. At the end of the day no dealership should treat you based on the cost of what youre purchasing but we all know that typically isnt the case. Porsche Carlsbad really flipped the script. I truly believe that we would have received the same treatment regardless of which car we bought here. We will definitely be coming here for our next car.

Recently purchased a Porsche from this dealership and had an incredibly bad experience. The sales team made so many mistakes during the purchasing process, my husband and I had to constantly stay on top of them to finish the steps needed to complete the purchase. Even after they had been paid. They never gave us the title to the car, then lied and said they sent it, but never did. Then a week later they sent it to the wrong place! When we finally got ahold of the GM Glen Anderson he was very rude and didn’t seem to care about all of the mistakes that had been made on their end.Not the experience you’d hope from a luxury dealer.My suggestion is to use a different Porsche dealership.

Very nice facility. Great to check out the cars. I figured I was too tall for a 911 but they are surprisingly roomy.

I made an appointment to test drive a CPO Cayman S that was verified in inventory with Kyle on a Saturday for a test drive. Once I arrived on Saturday, the dealership was busy and we waited for about 20 minutes until someone could help us. A sales person indicated that Kyle was busy, and asked us to go to the roof parking lot of the dealership to find our car and they would meet us there. We were unable to locate the car on the roof parking lot, and the sales person never came up to meet us. We then proceeded back down to the main floor, and asked that someone please show us the car. Kyle then became available and indicated the car was was parked outside and he would show us. We then proceeded to follow Kyle to the car which unfortunately was again not there. He then indicated it might be in the service area, where we found the car on the lift being worked on and unavaliable. Kyle then indicated the car would be available the following Monday-

I Have an older Porsche and yeah it isnt a 100k Carrara, sorry to burden you with years of loyalty. I love the car, but everyone at this dealer made me feel like I was driving a pinto. Looking at a new ford mustang. Besides Im tired of expensive repair bills.

Warning, do not take your vehicle in for service at this dealer. They rip you off by charging for more bottles of oil than you need. Make sure you know the parts your vehicle needs by researching online. Stay away from Porsche dealers for service in general. Go to honest private shops.

I purchased my current vehicle from Hoehn in October 2017. The first annual service - last October - was a good experience, a scheduled and completed without a hitch. More recently they handled two recalls on my vehicle. Again the service was prompt, complete and professional. All personnel were responsive and courteous. Couldnt ask for more.

I have taken my boss’ car in to service once for a 5 minute computer update which actually amounted to 3 hours. I had to walk to the service manager and my car never left the service drop off! Immediately then they reset the computer. Today was for a recall on the gas/charger cap. Supposedly a 10 minute fix. After 2 hours, the service rep came out and said well your car is clean but... we ordered the wrong part. I said you let me sit here for two hours and then you come to tell me you cannot do the 5 minute recall fix. She said they will order the correct part and call when they are ready. I can tell you this much I am dropping the car off in the morning and will pick it up the following day. Never will I sit and wait for a 5 or 10 minute fix.

Sal and Shaun are great. They were both courteous and friendly above all had great service on my 911. Also got a nice tour of the new beautiful facility in Carlsbad when I picked up my car!

So poor. My Macan was in the shop for two weeks and it still wasn’t done!!! They didn’t share updates. They returned it filthy having promised to clean it. It was left on the top deck of the parking thing so it was covered in dirt when I picked it up. They filled it with a tank of gas $70??? Should normally be $60 and it wasn’t even a full tank. I waited 45mins when I picked it up. This isn’t the first time the service has been poor. They continue to disappoint. It’s a shame since they tarnish a pretty stellar master brand.

2016 Porsche Cayenne - defective transfer case. The service department at Hoehn Porsche in Carlsbad CA is top notch. They took care of our car and got us back on the road in one day. Great job and the car runs super now.

Incredibly bad experience on my first routine scheduled service appointment at Hoehn PorscheIt took 2 weeks to get me in. ON MY DRIVE into the dealership on day of appointment, I get an email saying it would be better to reschedule to Monday (4days later). They were apparently short staffed and had a poor selection of loaners.I replied that I was 10 minutes away. Service advisor calls immediately and says okay. Come in still.The estimate was higher than I was quoted on phone by $200. Was told it was a mistake.Get loaner car... beat on Infinity despite being told I’d get a Cayenne when I set up appointment. I leave, get 10 miles down road to work and the low gas light comes on. Naturally I’m running to a meeting and can’t stop. Then tire pressurer indicator pops on. Was supposed to get car end of day. I don’t get it until end of next day despite it being a routine service. Also they told me I needed an additional brake flush $250+. Breaks still squeak after.. assuming I got taken.Time consuming. Stressful. Poor communication. Hoehn Porsche

Scheduling the appointment, dropping off the car and getting the Service loaner was quick and easy. Picked up my car later the same day and all the work was completed as promised. Everybody was extremely helpful and nice.

In for an intermediate service. Was also able to get an old problem with side lights taken care of which had not been resolved in past visits. Service Manager was very helpful. Only problem was that he told service to re-wash the car as it had been sitting out over 24 hours and service forgot to do it. I had to clean up the windshield after I got home.

Love this place. Jeff is my go-to guy in the service department. He really will get things done and doesnt do the whole we cant replicate this problem so its not our problem run around that I got at Porsche of San Diego. Roger is my go-to guy in the sales department. The least pushy sales guy Ive ever dealt with. Also, the service department actually does a decent job at car washes, unlike most dealerships. Im into detailing and they dont seem to add any swirls while washing which says a lot.

Excellent and thorough, but very slow. I had a slow leak in my 911 right rear tire, which turned out to be a small sharp-object puncture. It took the dealership more than 8 hours to fix it. At least the tire was warranteed, so the repair cost was negligible.

Recently bought a used 911 from this dealership. Good sales experience, professional and courteous.Brought the car back to Service to check out a sunroof issue and was highly disappointed. Service manager was unprofessional, lacked knowledge, and gave me incorrect information about the repair performed. Failed to acknowledge his error, did not apologize, and treated me poorly in general.

2014 Porsche Cayenne S after only 3 years and 60,000 miles lost more than 50% of its value. Management was non responsive to the price depreciation of my Certified Pre Owned car. Also, non wear and tear items were not covered by the warranty, as expected. Management showed no interest in me or my future business. Nothing they could do, was the response time and time again.....I would never recommend Hoehn to anyone!

When the time comes to take my car in for service my choice is Hoehn Porsche. Susan is the person I work with. She is knowledgeable, friendly, professional and has great follow through. The work is always done well and on a timely basis and when I pick up my car it is clean and ready to go.

When I initially visited the dealership, I thought it was a beginning of renewed relationship with Hoehn. On a Super Bowl Sunday, I dealt with Michael to complete the vehicle purchase since the person I dealt with over the phone was unavailable. I informed Michael that I was a returning client of Hoehn and would like to renew the relationship with the Hoehn family. He made me comfortable with the purchase. He was exceptionally appreciative of my purchase. I had to wait for a few days since the car needed some detail and additional option install. I received a loaner for the time being. However, when dealing with Mark (initial rep) during the pick up, it was more evident that the purchase was about profit (finances). According to Mark, they did not make anything on the deal so he could not afford me anything else. He proudly stated that they gave me a key chain with Hoehns information. What a deal? There was no building of relationship created.Yesterday, I discovered that they sold my trade-in with approximately $6000 profit over the trade-in purchase. Imagine that. And Mark stated they did not make any profit. What a deal!UPDATE:The other day, due to the cold climate, I had to add air into my tires. Unfortunately, I discovered that my SUV originally came with 20 wheels. Therefore, there was nothing indicating the correct pressure for my 19 wheels. I had to guess due to this uncertainty. I inquired with Porsche of Carlsbad only to find out that my wheels were switched during the initial purchase of the SUV. This was confirmed by the Sales representative, corroborated by the Supervisor and Manager. Apparently, the wheels were taken off when it was brought to service as a loaner. They did not bring the vehicle in specs when they sold the SUV as CPO to me. According to the manager, The 20” were put on another new car that was sold to another customer. The customer paid the difference in the wheel cost to do so. He advised, (that) would be for you to stick with the 19” tires. They ride much better last longer and cost much less to replace when needed. They also handle potholes and speed bumps much better. We can look into what it would cost to pay for an upgrade from 19” wheels to 20” but again it’s more money.Additionally, regarding the customer service, the manager stated, I did talk to both Mark and Michael regarding true customer service. Your feedback was instrumental with this, so I thank you. I do hope you accept the complimentary full detail for your Macan when you need it. Once again, what a deal! A full detail for my Macan for this unremarkable experience. Need I mention the trust issue bringing my SUV back to the dealership?

I brought my 2017 Porsche Macan GTS in for service, detail, to have a scratch and a few very small paintless dents removed and a windshield replacement.My Service Writer was Sal. He was very pleasant. In regards to the windshield replacement, Sal, at first, refused to call Allstate to get an approval. My car was at Porsche Carlsbad for almost three days. Allstate requires that the DEALERSHIP call for an approval or the windshield cost would not be reimbursed.I attempted to call the Service Manager. I left a voice mail, but I never received a return call.I received very little communication via text while my car was in there, and I attempted to text and call Sal with no return text or call.I picked up my car on Wednesday, April 17th, after I received a text the previous evening that my car was ready. Sal was cooperative and called Allstate while I was sitting there with him. I dont believe that Sal should be at blame for not being willing to call Allstate at first. I assume it is a Company policy.At this point, I still have a cracked windshield and a scratch that needs a little touch up, so I didnt receive the complete service that I expected. I also would have expected a telephone call from Porsche Carlsbad to EXPLAIN and COMMUNICATE the facts. That is why I have given only three stars.I hope that I can get my windshield replaced and the scratch touched up in a timely manner.Lisa Hanifan

I own a 2000 Boxster, not the high end vehicle that is typically at a Porsche service department. Everytime I have brought my car to be serviced, I am treated like an A customer. From scheduling the appointment, dropping off the car and picking up a loaner, to coming back to get my car, the team at Hoehn knocks it out of the park with customer and technical service!

Went in to check out the Carrera and the Carrera S guy says to come back and check in once in awhile see if they have one. Worst sales experience ever didnt even go into details on the differences or get my info to call me if one comes in and its kind of mind baffling that they dont have those two in stock.When I buy my Porsche it will not be with them, that is for sure.

Very energetic, positive, sales experience.Good follow-up and efforts to accommodate and please.HOWEVER, Ambience, and general friendliness of show room, leaves a lot to be desired. Initial visit involved me wondering around for at least 10 mins., or more, before someone even acknowlkedged I was there. Then I didnt get much of a welcoming attitude. Had a number of people see me initially, but no proactive attempt to greet or offer assistance. Almost snobbish in nature. Maybe driving a BMW wasnt high enough up the luxury car chain?

I purchased a 2016 Macan and my salesperson was Elizabeth. She is fantastic and I highly recommend her. She knows the product, is extremely efficient, professional, and friendly.
