Absolutely loved my rental this weekend. Corey and Samantha provided fantastic customer service! They made the process super quick and easy, which was nice after a stressful day. And thank you to Rodney, who gave me a ride back to work this morning after dropping my rental off! Will definitely be back soon!

Not a good start to a trip! I was not informed that if using a debit card I’d need to verify I have an Ameren account in my name at my home address. Well, I don’t! I own a business and have an Ameren account for it. But, because the address isn’t my home it wasn’t acceptable! Luckily, my traveling companions used their card. Also, the car they gave us is filthy and I’m pretty sure smaller than what I reserved. Looks like I’ll be looking for a better rental car company. They wouldn’t even give me a ride from my house and I’m only two minutes away.

Check-in was quick and the staff were polite. I use the Cape Girardeau Enterprise approximately once a month. Since the pandemic began, the quality of cars has taken a nosedive. I understand the reasons why inventory is limited. The most recent rental car I received was a Toyota Corolla, a brand I trust as reliable. However, the car itself was in terrible repair. There was a chip in the windshield, stains throughout the front seats, armrest, backseat and ceiling. The maintenance light kept coming on, and the mileage compared to the last maintenance sticker showed it was 2000+ miles overdue for an oil change.The gentlemen renting the vehicle to me was polite and made note of the disrepair. I did not notice the overdue oil change until I was 100 miles down the road, and restarted the car, seeing the maintenance light come on. Shared this with the staff member as I returned the vehicle and she agreed it was dirty, but questioned if the maintenance sticker had not been updated. Perhaps, but the maintenance light kept coming on during my trip, so something was either not reset or was overdue.

The Cape Girardeau location is definitely not ran with the same standards as other Enterprise locations. Normally I rent fairly often for work travel and the cars I pick up there are typically dirty and never full of gas. My last rental was a minivan with 40,000 miles and cigarette ashes on the steering column. I understand this is a somewhat rural location but there’s no reason the vehicles can’t be clean and full of gas. I have a feeling if there was my competition locally they would step up their game.

Staff was pleasant which is a big plus! My only issue was during the return, I accepted that I had overslept and missed my 11am return so I called to let them know and ask about late charges. I said I would extend for another day if there would be a charge and the rep said no its fine we have a grace period. I was there at 11:50 and ended up with a hour late charge. Long story short, good experience but communication could be improved! Thank you

Worst experience renting a vehicle for the first time. Made a reservation and visa was listed as option. However, told two days before trip had to have a major credit card, debit was not an option. Called back to cancel and was told they had a minivan I could rent which worked out perfectly. However, someone else called me back and said they didn’t have any available that it was a mistake. Awful company with ridiculous policies.

Efficient and easy process to pick up my rental vehicle.Pleased to see all of the employees either engaging in social distancing or wearing adequate face masks when distancing was not possible. The associate that completed my rental transaction was courteous and concise.The only critique being that I had to add air to one of the rental vehicles tires upon receiving it due to low air pressure. Otherwise this would have been a 5-star experience.

Two days ago a made a reservation for a trip that I was taking. I received a call that said that I need to moved the reservation up a day because they wouldnt have a car available until the next day and now Im being told that they will not have a car until Saturday and they forgot to close the website down by for reservation. This is the second time this has happened.

They need to update their accepted means to pay! They are still stuck in the days of brick and mortar banks and credit cards! Get with the program people! Its 2021 where online banks are the way to go because they are never closed!!!! You are loosing so much business all because you wont recognize online banks!!Ive been with my online bank for 3 years and I have no intention of changing banks. I receive benefits with my card that I dont get with physical banks. Ive looked into opening an account with a physical bank, but I didnt like their terms and service charges that my trusted online bank doesnt charge!Wake up, Enterprise!!!! Time to step into the 21st century and update your card policies!!!! Do that, and I will give you a better review.

I made reservations in advance for a SUV. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, they told me the SUV was not available and put me in a minivan. The reason I made reservations in advance, was to reserve the vehicle. If you do not honor advance reservations, then do away with that procedure.

The rate Enterprise verbally quoted to me was one price but then when I signed the tablet they had entered a higher price per day than what we agreed on. Since this was an insurance claim I lost three days of car rental coverage. Thank goodness I noticed it and called them back or it would have been worse. They did adjust it after they charged the higher price for seven days and would not adjust for those first seven days.

They are usually pretty nice, they have a few people who are short and don’t have a lot of people skills, and they are usually short of cars. They are expensive, but there are only 2 places to rent cars around here, so not much complaining.

Enterprise always does a pretty good job of being the best place to rent a vehicle. They do need to do a better job of checking the vehicle to make sure everything is properly working. Cruise control , and Bluetooth did not work . Overall was happy with the rental.

I rented a car for a long weekend trip with my girlfriend to Florida over the 4th of July. I was in her area renting the car which is 1.5 hours from my home location and i guess that raised a lot of red flags and they asked A LOT of questions before processing the car for me. I assume they just want to be sure you are not going to steal it or what not but I did not feeling like a criminal just renting a car for a 5 days, but I guess they have to do what they have to do. I have used Enterprise several times with my employer and it is a lot smoother process. I will say the manager was not the nicest but the gentleman that walked the car with me was very nice. My only other complaint was 20 miles into our drive the oil light and maintenance light kicked on which made me uncomfortable, when I looked at the mileage it was already 200 miles overdue for an oil change. I had a smooth drop off process with just pulling in and dropping the keys in the box which I liked. I will be continuing to use enterprise because its convenient, I just wasnt ready for the 100 questions.

Service was mediocre at best, and I was only refunded half of my security deposit for some unknown reason. The car was in the exact same condition as it was when I picked it up. I will be in contact with the corporate office tomorrow to find out how it is possible for a business to just jack over $100 from me with no explanation as to why.

Great experience in renting a minivan from our local Cape Girardeau, Missouri office and returning it at New York LaGuardia airport. Enterprise employees were helpful and courteous at both locations. The minivan was just as requested and all charges were disclosed up front. We rented the minivan during Covid and Enterprise was on top of everything. Their personnel wore masks and gloves, we kept our social distances at all times and the van was clean. As we left the van we saw them starting to immediately clean and disinfect it as soon as we left it. Just a great experience from start to finish.

My go to place for car rentals. They have nice vehicles at reasonable prices. No smoking or dogs in them. The no smoking is great but not no pets. My dog goes everywhere with me. I put shrink wrap on seats then cover everything with blankets and throws. Before taking it back I vacuum and vacuum before i remove anything, between layers and after removing it all. I also am OCD about brushing my dog on these days. Then pray no one with dog allergies rent car behind me. They know this about my dog.

People were rude! We went there to rent a car while are car was being fixed. The insurance had already called them to set it up. When we got there we had good service alright! The insurance was going to pay $20.00 a day and we had to pay the rest. We understood that. And also we would have to pay $50.00 down and would get that back upon returning the car. When we got there the gentleman said it would be $90.00 a day and we would have to $190.00 down. We went back to our insurance agent. He called and talked to them and they told her they could go as low as $40.00 a day. I think because they knew we needed a car, because ours were wrecked and we were older women they were going to sock it to us. Needless to say we walk out without a car!

The service I receive at our local Enterprise location here in Cape Girardeau, MO is always five stars! Everyone is professional and friendly. I can count on reliable and clean transportation, and their pick-up service takes the parking headache out of the experience. I strongly recommend replying to phone calls requesting verification of rentals and speaking to someone at this location. You’ll end up talking to someone who is very informed and willing to answer all your questions.

Great service! Got our first rental from Illinois but crashed it because of black ice and the next day they were the nearest Enterprise that could help us. Since we had bought the insurance they basically just swapped us a new one and we were back on the road. They were so friendly and attentive. I would definitely rent from them again.

I received a higher catagory vehicle than what I rented and they were polite and gracious about the unfortunate circumstances. No complaints. Would recommend this location to future customers.

I sat at the airport for 45 minutes waiting on a ride because they didnt know I was coming despite the fact that my reservation was made in April. After sitting for about 30 minutes at the airport I called the office to check the status of my pick up. The girl that answered said the driver had left and should be there soon. When I asked what car I am looking for she said she wasnt sure by he would be wearing a green shirt. I let her know where I was located since she couldnt tell me what he was driving (which is an entire other issue!). When he arrived he passed me and went to an out post. I walked in the rain to get to him.The car was Not super clean in the inside. The drivers seat height adjustment was broken and seats were stained. About 2 hours into my trip the passenger airbag chime started alarming off and on. It did this the entire trip. I am also a frequent renter and my awards number wasnt on my account. Unfortunately, I was dealing with folks who didnt work with enterprise to complete contract so they werent able to add my awards #. I voiced my discontent with the driver and asked that it be passed along to the manager.When I dropped the car off I was advised by the rep at the new drop off station, in Kansas City, that I would hear from the manager of the pick up site. Still havent heard from her....I rent from enterprise multiple times per month. I can say this is the first time I have experienced this type of service. 99.9% of the time Enterprise is right on! I would expect exceptional service for such a remote small (1 terminal) airport.

I called ahead to be picked up, and they were very prompt in coming to get me and help with luggage. The car was upgraded to a new van that drove well and got excellent mileage. I wont go to this location anymore. First,the man ran my credit card for more than my reservation quoted . To their credit it was returned with my deposit after I brought it to a different employees attention. Next the person who took me to the car tried to tell me I had to get their Insurance which I knew wasnt true. To top it off the car only had a 1/4 tank when the gave it to me. I didnt think to check it until it started flashing low fuel after 30 miles of driving.The reason I know Im right is because the receipt I got in the email said the same thing. I was already a little unhappy because Two times I reserved cars at location days in advance and both times I had to wait for them to clean it up before I could go. The people they sent to pick me up were very nice. No complaints. I really like Enterprise but this location needs to be checked into by upper management.

I like this place. Staffs are nice and they try their best to provide us with highest level of customer service. I had one bad experience though. The staff who drove me back home was rather rude but again I would attribute that to his mood at that particular instance. Other than that, the range of cars that we can choose from is very broad and the rental process goes smoothly without much hassle.

Ive rented from Enterprise in the past to very good effect. For example, they provided a rental car for two weeks after an automobile accident left my car totaled. However, my experience at his location has left much to be desired. It felt like I was interacting with used car salesmen instead of rental car employees. First, they ran a classic bait-and-switch on me by promising a premier vehicle on their website when I booked and then telling me when I arrived that I didnt qualify because I didnt have a credit card. They went so far as to refuse to swipe my debit card as a credit card so I could qualify for the premier vehicle. Second, a transaction that should have been 15 painless minutes instead lasted 65 agonizing minutes because of semantics about the appropriateness of my insurance. Overall, just a lack of honest professionalism that I have grown to expect from the Enterprise experience.

Received a call as I was headed there to pick up saying aorry but they dont have any rentals available at all. Why then would I be able to reserve? Horribly disappointed!

Excellent customer service, speedy processing and out the door quickly. Upgraded to from a standard car to a minivan. Vehicle ran perfectly and was extremely comfortable. Only drawback was that it smelled like cigarette smoke. I didnt notice the odor after a few minutes of driving, but there was another customer in the lobby when I picked the vehicle up who was complaining about the same issue.

I was told that I was able to reserve the vehicle with my debit card and once I went to pick up the car I was told something different and I was also told that I would be able to pay for the car with my debit card but I had to pay for it with my major credit card which I didnt want to use. I use Enterprise everywhere when I need a car. Its proven to be very reliable, with good, clean cars and great service. The staff at Cape Girardeau are the most courteous and professional Ive encountered anywhere. Hey Home Office, Its hot in the Cape. I appreciate the professional appearance; but these guys need to nix the jackets and ties in this weather. I feel bad for them. How about casual dress season. Provide some cooler blouses and golf shirts with the Enterprise logo:)

My husband, daughter and I rented a car for Christmas to go visit both of our families. The service was amazing, the woman who helped us had just started 3 days before and she did amazing. Now the selection wasnt great but it was also Christmas time so I understand. We were suppose to get a car but got a van instead but it wasnt a big deal since we brought home a lot of stuff. The only thing I dont like is the deposit they require. I understand a lot of places like this require one but 200 dollar is going to cover what if something happens? I think you should have to have insurance and they ask for your insurance card instead of that big deposit that you dont really know when you are going to get back. Other than that I liked the Cape Girardeau store.

This dealership was a great one to work with. Service was courteous, complete and speedy. Easy in and out.For the most part, I was happy with the Kia Soul. However, the location of the mirror was such that it made it difficult for me to see the lanes as I was making left turns. I imagine I could have taken it back and traded for a different model, but did not.

It been 2 weeks and they still have not credited my credit card for the $100.00 deposit they held during the rental. I doubt if I would rent from Enterprise again, if I have to call and remind them to return my deposit..

The gentleman who was to give me the car told me there was not a car available and there wouldnt be one checked in until after 3 pm which was over an hour later. He tried to force a more expensive car on me. His intention was to charge me more. When I would not agree. He suddenly had a car that would fit the category that I had reserved. I was getting pretty angry at that point. The gentleman who drove me to the parking lot was awesome. He was quick and efficient. It normally takes me over 45 minutes to get my car at this location.

Reserved a car online the night before to pick up at 8am. The only place that I could pick up according to the web site was at the airport. Waited 2 hours to be told that they didnt have a car for me and only people flying into Cape could pick up a car from there. None of this stated on the website. The man I spoke with was extremely rude and informed me he had already spoken to my husband. Reservation was in my name. Person at airport and even customer service provider tried to call manager when I had arrived but no calls were returned. I wouldnt recommend doing any business with them. The website is unclear of all the unwritten rules. A person cant follow the rules if they do not know them.

I normally would give them 5 stars but this last experience did not live up to my expectations. I was immediately put off because they gave me a car with just a quarter tank of gas. I didnt notice until I got down the road that the right, rear tire sensor was flashing that it was low. It only had 33 lbs of pressure in it. As the day went on, it dropped to 26 lbs so I had to air it up. By the next morning it was down to 24 lbs. I took it back to them and they immediately got me a different car. I feel like they should check the tires and level of fuel before giving a customer a car.

I came to CGI, and had booked a rental from Enterprise in Cape. I had booked this rental a few weeks in advance of my travels, and received a confirmation from Enterprise that my car had been booked. I even received a phone call from Enterprise confirming that I would be picking up my car on Sunday afternoon. When I arrived at the airport I learned that there was no car for me. The local Enterprise office was closed, so I called Enterprise head office. After Enterprise spent 15 minutes trying to tell me the booking was not done correctly they finally acknowledged that the booking was done correctly, however there was no car available for me, and there was nothing they could do to provide me with a car. To make matters worse, I was left stranded at the airport because I could not get a rental car that I had booked (and confirmed), I could not get a taxi (apparently taxi companies also dont work past 3:00 on Sundays), and there is no public transportation. After a long travel day I had to spend 2.5 extra hours at the airport trying unsuccessfully to get enterprise to provide me with a car, and then trying to figure how to somehow get to my hotel. What amazed me the most is that Enterprise, both the local office and corporate provided no interest in helping resolve their problem. The worst customer service ever. I highly doubt that I will ever use Enterprise for my car rentals in the future.

I have rented from Enterprise for the last 5 out of 6 business / personal rentals. Superior customer service, mechanically sound vehicles, and they are Missouri based. This wasnt my best experience that Ive had with a rental. The car wasnt clean and the windows were dirty on the inside. I had to go wash the car and clean inside windows after I picked it up for our trip. It was also smaller than what they showed me when I set it up. They showed me a Ford explorer and we got a Nissan morano which didnt have near the space and we didnt have any other options.

My car had broken down when I was five hours from home. The car couldnt be fix that day so I had to rent a car. I called Enterprise and the staff immediately came over to the repair shop and brought me to the Enterprise site. Hunter Givens, Management Trainee immediately took care of me and helped get my luggage to the car. He was very professional in everyway and I hope I get a chance to meet him again. I would not recommend this rental place to anyone! They are shady and the way paperwork is done here is fraudulent as well.! Not only am I reporting to the better business bureau ., I am seeking legal action .!

The employees at Cape Girardeau are some of the finest employees I have dealt with, and I have rented cars from them every weekend for 12 weeks now. Friendly and courteous are just a few of their attributes that stand out and not only the sales people, but the others behind the scenes that escort you to your location also. The facility always looks great, a little small, parking wise for the amount of cars and rentals that they can accommodate. If your looking to rent a car in the Cape Girardeau area, I would recommend their location.

Today was the WORST experience Ive ever had from any Enterprise location. I dropped off vehicle and was REFUSED a ride home. I had to call a cab. Justin was reprehensible in the way I was treated. I had to take a cab home after being charged 58 dollars drop off fee. Arrived at 4 and asked for ride home and was told it would be 10 to 15 mins to arrange a ride. I counted no less than 6 employees who at times werent helping customers but, sitting at their desks on cell phones. I asked for a ride after they told me it would be 30 mins to wait and then was told since I called a cab they werent transporting me at all. I told him their policy was to take customers dropping cars off was to give a ride home and he argued and said it would be closing time when he would make arrangements to take me home. Had a problem few months ago with this same branch refusing to take care of a bad tire. They made me drive 10 miles to switch cars and then gave me a downgraded car. NEVER DO BUSINESS AT THIS LOCATION. JUSTIN GREENE WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE REP IVE WORKED WITH FROM ANY COMPANY. THIS IS NOT THE SERVICE I EVER RECEIVE FROM MY INDIANA BRANCH. WILL BE COBTACTED BBB.
