I have 3 vehicles and a RV and I take them all here. They have been very courteous but that is not the main reason I go here. I have had experience in the past with auto shops lieing to me about issues with my vehicle so they can sell a service. Seyers Garage has not done that to me. They are an honest auto shop that is also reasonably priced. They have not given me a reason to service my vehicles elsewhere.

This garage does EXCELLENT work for reasonable prices. They had our truck done the day after we dropped it off. Ours wasnt major repairs BUT we had no clue what the diagnostic was going to tell us. Great customer service, even when I had to reschedule! I highly recommend Seyers garage if youre needing a good mechanic in the Cape Girardeau area!

Fast friendly service, but cough up the money.....

Zac came and rescued me strand in Jackson Mo, when my vehicle broke down. We had the battery tested and attempted to get a smaller belt for it. The compressor froze up and putting a small v-belt wasn’t a option. After several attempts to get AAA back on the phone Zac called and assisted me in arranging a tow. Zac was very knowledgeable about batteries and I learned something new talking with him. His customer service is above satisfactory. Thanks Zac for all your help in my time of need. Very much appreciated. Wes the tow truck driver arrived and was extremely helpful and just as friendly. Being a Veteran as well we shared a few stories. The vehicle was dropped off, Wes positioned the vehicle so I was able to work a enter the store without interfering with customer traffic . Thanks a bunch again. The service they provide help ease the pain of being stranded. Thank a million guys.

My family and I have used Seyers for many years. Fair and upfront pricing. Very good at educating about what problems your vehicle is having. I have never felt comfortable asking questions about my car because I have always felt like I was being talked down to. However, in my experience with them that is not the case.Will continue to use them and will always recommend to others.

Dont know too much about this place but nice people

We broke down about 20 miles south of Cape on a road trip back to Florida after visiting family in the area. My cousin recommended Seyers and we were very pleased. Knowing we were on a trip, they quickly sent a tow truck to get our van to the shop and made the necessary repairs (alternator) before closing time so we could get back on the road. Everyone was courteous and professional, and they charged a fair price for everything. We visit this area a couple times each year and will gladly use Seyers again in the future.

Expensive, but honest and professional work

They were great about giving me a local loft home while my car got worked on. Went thru my insurance company easily. Instead if replacing they were able to reprogram.

Tyler was very professional. My car stopped performing when I got to dutchtown. Tyler was very quick and polite when towing my car. Very down to earth. It didnt take long at all. Thank you so much I appreciate it.

The only time they fixed my problems the first time, they create a second. Without fail. Good thing they have a warranty policy, because I use it every single time. Whoever gave this place 5 stars, Im convinced either isnt from around here or is a member of staff

Shop rate is fair for the area. We’ve had them do anything from basic oil changes to more advanced vehicle repair and diagnostics. Would like to see improved communication.

Great service very friendly good people!

We had 2 dealings with them within a few days. The first my husband broke down on the highway. The wrecker driver was very courteous and professional. The garage kept us updated on the repairs and the cost was reasonable, they patiently answered all of our questions. The second the battery died in my car at the vets. The tow driver was wonderful. I told him the battery had left me twice and I wanted it gone. He tested the alternator and starter to make sure they were not the problem and replaced the battery like I requested. We will use Seyers for anything our vehicles need. I highly recommend them.

Very rude drivers! Threatened my boyfriend and I and cursed at us. Acted as if he was better than everyone else.

My car broke down on the side of a busy highway and they where in no time to tow my vehicle. The guy who towed it for me was very nice. Definitely stored their number in my phone just in case I have any other problems in the future!!

I will continue to recomend. Very professional and friendly with great service. Everything was done in a timely maner and mechanic went above and beyond to ensure quality.

DELIBERATELY HIDE TROUBLE CODES SO YOU CAN PAY THEM MORE MONEY.THEY HID A COMPUTER FAULT CODE FROM ME AND TOLD ME THAT I WAS OVER REVVING MY ENGINE. WHEN I ASKED FOR DOCUMENTATION (WHICH THEY STATED THEY HAD), THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING. I EVENTUALLY HAD TO CONVINCE THEM TO PRINT OUT WHAT THEY DO NOT SHOW CUSTOMERS AND WHAT THEY PRINTED WAS SHOWING THAT I WAS CORRECT. MY CARS COMPUTER IS BLOWN, THEY WOULD NOT LOOK AT IT AFTER ASKING MANY TIMES.I ALSO SIGNED A PAPER STATING THAT MY ENGINE WARRANTIES WERE VOID DUE TO OVER REVVING. THEY COULD NOT PRODUCE DOCUMENTATION.I DID NOT SIGN A PAPER STATING THAT MY ENGINE WARRANTIES ARE VOID DUE TO A BAD COMPUTER.THIS MECHANIC OWES ME AN ENGINE.THEY WOULD ALSO RATHER CALL THE COPS THAN BE PROVEN WRONG.DO NOT GO HERE.THEY HAVE A FRAUD SCHEME.IMAGES OF FRAUD SCHEME PROVIDED.Honest prices and and bad customer service.I am going to expand my review.This place has been very disrespectful and very dishonest while putting my vehicle back on the road every time. (They have totaled my car 3 times)The first time I visited I was greeted with a smile and a hardworking service writer. At the time I needed a replacement engine for my car. I was able to select the engine I wanted and was given an honest and accurate quote to replace it. I was also given an unlimited mileage 1 year warranty on my engine too.A week or so later my engine was delivered and installed right away. This process took about 1 week but my car was back on the road.Approximately 3,000 miles in my engine began to develop issues which prompted me to return here to have it checked. It came up with numerous problems. I was quoted a total of $860 dollars to repair those issues. Sure enough, I got my car back a week later. After about 3 days these issues came back. I told them what was going on and they refunded the $860 because they didn’t fix the issue. These guys stand behind their work.They ran some more tests on my engine and the problem just wouldn’t go away. They opted to put another replacement engine in my car at no cost to me.About 4 weeks later, my car is back on the road and with more power than it had before. The work they did on it this time seems to be holding up much better. It overheated just the other day because a heater hose clamp came off. They covered it under my warranty. The tow and all!The towing service is outstanding as well.I was driving up the interstate at 1am in a different car and the transmission blew. I was stuck on the side of the interstate 26 miles from this shop. I had many other people I could call to tow the car but I knew I could trust this place to do it right. I got a reasonable charge for the tow and it was brought to my designated location without any hassle.Once again, this place is awful.The mechanics who work here are rude, pitiful, and upfront with you about potential issues. They are true to their word and (barely)stand behind their work. The Service Writers at the front desk are confusing to talk to. Knowledgeable about your vehicle, and do an awful job when it comes to finding the right part for your car. They speak to you with nothing short of disrespect and lack of honesty that can only be found in a place like this.0/5 Don’t recommend.THEY TOTALED MY CAR 3 TIMES AND ARE STICKING ME WITH THE BILLS OF WHAT THEIR SHODDY WORK DESTROYS. I ran over a chunk of rubber on the highway and had some damage to my car. (On my way back from vacation, I had been driving about 8.5 hours, and still had about 3 more hours to go)There was a piece of thick plastic rubbing on my tire from hitting the rubber. I showed up to Seyers on a whem ( as they were closest to me on the highway), and they had super quick service and got me back on the road in less than an hour. They had great pricing and experienced mechanics. Highly recommend!

Rude. Unprofessional. Came in with one problem and left with three more. Then they make you pay again to even get it looked at and then on top of that make you pay more to fix a problem they caused. Awful. Never again.

I had a flat tire as I was leaving work at 8am. I call my insurance to set-up the arrangements(I knew it would be Seyers Garage) less than 30 minutes Josh arrived!! He is a very knowledgeable mechanic and took time to inform me as well. Made for sure that I followed him back to the garage and that I received exactly what needed to be fixed. I had to end up getting 2 back tires in about an hour Seyers had me on my way..SAFELY!! Thank You to all at SEYERS GARAGE 100% RECOMMENDED!!

The folks at this garage might be friendly and fair. But the owners reluctance to spend money on towing equipment is putting his drivers and his customers at risk. My vehicle was towed from south of Sikeston, MO up to Cape Girardeau, MO. About 40 miles on interstate. My vehicle was small and light weight. The driver admitted that the truck had four hundred thousand miles on it and could only go 20 miles an hour up hills on i-55. I cringed as I experienced this firsthand. On straightaways the tow truck could only do 55 miles an hour top speed. The driver mentioned sensors that are no longer functioning and a tire that has flat sides giving an even rougher ride. The truck was so weak that the driver could not accelerate enough to get into 4 lane street traffic. The driver spoke proudly of his owner boss saying that he would not spend money on anything didnt absolutely have to be replaced. I will be contacting AAA.

Was in town for a funeral and had my starter go out. Found this business online and am very happy with everything. The staff is very professional and the cost to tow my Jeep in was very reasonable. They managed to replace my starter the same day within about an hour. Highly recommended.

Always been patient with my family and our lack of knowledge. And has always called and explained what the problem was and how much its gonna cost. We definitely recommend them to folks who are in need of a good garage to get work done.

Broke down while passing through Cape Girardeau Missouri. Using AAA identified them as well as the reviews online. Very impressed with the service. 3 hour turnaround and back on the road. I couldnt have expected more. To top it off they even sent a courtesy van to pick up my family when they towed are SUV to their shop. And their price was very reasonable.

Dropped my car off early this afternoon. Harley called at 5pm and said the repair was complete. Excellent service and customer service. I will be doing more business with Seyers Garage in the future. Highly recommend them.

First they misdiagnosed my problem and replaced the wrong part. Then when they diagnosed it correctly they forgot to order the right part for a whole day. Then they lost the core charge for the old part that I told them I needed back. Then when I finally left with my truck I immediately noticed the alignment they “did” was way off. So now I have to bring it back to the shop for them to re align it tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of these rude, incompetent people

This place must be great if you know them. They charged me $200+ did NOT fix the problem. I doubt they even tried. Broke my drivers side door handle on BOTH sides. This over a 5 week period. I took the car to a dealership L/S they told me the car could not be repaired! That was another $100. I am out $300 & no car because of Seyers incompetence!Repair your car there if you must, but dont expect much to be done.

Took my car in to have it looked at for a noise coming from the rear suspension. The gentleman told me to hop in, hed ride along to listen, literally less than a block down the road, he says he knows what the issue may be. We turned around and I dropped the car off... About 30 mins later I was called to pick it back up. They found the issue, fixed it and got me back on the road quickly !!! Fabulous Crew!!!

We use Seyers Garage for all of our towing needs. They are quick to get on the job and very reasonably priced! We have also used the shop for several mechanical jobs and we have been very pleased with the resulta and timely turn around. Highly recommend!

Called for a local tow. The lady that answered the phone was super nice. Their price beat two others local companies and were there within the half hour. The driver was very friendly and did a good job.

I just think 48 dollars for 30 minutes of service is too expensive for labor. My 12 dollar inspection turned into 65 when they replaced two $1.50 bulbs.

WORST!Had my truck towed to Seyer Garage b/c it wouldnt start w/o being jumped, both batteries were fairly new (less than a yr old), so I figured it was something more serious. They call me and tell me my engine thru a rod and needed a new engine (after a barrage of other small repairs), the woman tells me the TOTAL for 1 option was $2,5xx, the TOTAL on the other was $3,8xx due to it having fewer miles. I chose the cheaper of the options. After 6 WEEKS I get a call from the lady laughing saying we got the new engine in, we just cant start it w/o jumping it, but it runs great after that, we think it needs a new battery. What do you want us to do? ((remember I brought the truck into Seyer Garage b/c it wouldnt start w/o being jump started? ya.)) So I took out a loan to cover the cheaper of the 2 options, went in to Seyer Garage to get my truck after 6 wks of finding rides for my kids to school and me to work only to get a bill that was over $4,xxx!!! I reminded the lady that she quoted me $2,5xx 6 wks ago over the phone, she said well there was labor too and I would have NEVER given a quote for something w/o labor, but you did I reminded her. A TOTAL is the bottom line, right? Wrong apparently. I guess theres the subtotal, the total, and the post script Seyer total. I asked to speak w/ the owner, explaining the situation, and that this the total she gave me was drastically different and that I had to take out a loan just to get what I was originally quoted, and this total is nearly 2x that! (apparently in her 8 yrs this was the only time shed ever given somebody a total w/o adding labor b/c she ALWAYS adds labor to a total! Right I said, so you said the total was one thing now its another? Where else would I have come up w/ the $2,500 considering the TOTAL wasnt itemized? $2,500 was just the cost of the engine The owner supported her and wrote it off as a misunderstanding......a misunderstanding that cost me an extra $2,1xx than what I was originally quoted to be the TOTAL. So after 6 wks and $4,6xx I might have just needed a new battery, but whos to say (tho they did charge me another $48 for switching out the battery..really, $48 for something I can do in less than 5 min.. I will say this, I will never take a vehicle to them again, and every time I hear somebody even mention car problems I will re-tell this tale. WORST experience w/ a mechanic I have ever experienced! I feel very taken advantage of and misled. And even though this lady blatantly admitted that total she gave me didnt include the labor but claimed to have never not included labor Seyer Garage did nothing. Whether intentional or unintentional a tremendously costly error was made and they did nothing about it. (and if I would have known the total was going to be so high I certainly would have gotten a second opinion!) I finally have my truck back, it has a Water in Fuel light on and the cd player wont turn on, and my duck calls smell like grease, but at the very least I can get my kids to school myself again.WORST.
