This place is fantastic! Theyve got every piece of equipment you will ever need and tanning beds both stand up and lay down. The club manager handled me promptly and signed me up in less than 10 minutes. Great customer service! There are plenty of employees available at all times to handle any question you may have. Ive been working out for 35 years and Ive never trained in a place as equipped as this one. If your looking to improve your overall health stop in here first before you go anywhere else!

Great facility. Great equipment. They do an awesome job for an economy gym. I appreciate that there was no hard sell when I joined. I was given a short spiel on the benefits of upgrading my membership but when I declined, they politely moved on. At LA Fitness I had to sit through a high pressure sales presentation by a personal trainer. It was a complete turnoff. I would give them a full five stars except for two things. 1. It would be nice if there were a scale somewhere in the building. 2. The sinks and counters in the mens room are constantly wet and messy. It would be nice to have a paper towel dispenser so I could wipe down before using.

Visiting from out of town and stopped by the nearest gym. Staff here is amazingly awesome and friendly. Bryan went above and beyond explaining some awesome Perks I didnt even know I had with plant fitness 👍🏽

Got to say I love this place lots of exercise equipment, the machines are spaced out very well, its very clean, we tried the extra mile to Cape Coral just so we can go to the gym even the ones right next to us, and the best thing is that they have all the amenities you want, plus I want to add the staff are amazing here they love to keep the place running perfect.

Ive belonged to Planet Fitness for five years and I firmly believe that it is a great gym with plenty of variety and fitness options. The staff, and Vinna the manager, are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. I believe that the pizza nights and bagel breakfast events are a great way to build morale and give the members a chance to mingle and socialize. Despite the detractors, I feel that Planet Fitness is a great gym with something for everyone.

Wide selection of equipment, nice locker rooms, judgment-free gym where you can work whatever you need to. They also have some massage tables and tanning beds, cant speak on those yet but Ive heard good things.

Manager Vina is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! EXTREMELY RUDE. She hung up on me 3 times, left me on a 20 minute hold. I called because I noticed my account was charged $39. When I called she said it was an accidental charge. She said she would refund it, fine and good but refused to reimburse for the 5 months of me being charged due to her employees mistakes. Ive worked in customer service for 10 years, she needs some training. She also refused to let me speak to anyone higher than her and would answer the phone and leave me on hold anytime I called. EXTREMELY EXTREMELY RUDE.

The only thing I dont like about this location is that they close early on the weekends. The staff is super awesome and everything is very clean.

Planet Fitness Cape Coral CMy impression of the Planet Fitness Cape Coral on Del Prado Blvd was not a memorable one. In my month long stay in the area the club was not clean nor was it safe environment with regards to the global pandemic.I personally witnessed some employees not wearing masks nor requiring their members to wear masks either.The club was not overly clean, I never witnessed one person cleaning the club during any of my visits. The exercise equipment was dirty and not well maintained. The bathroom stalls not well stocked or clean. I will say the fresh flowers in women’s bathroom was a nice touch.Both massage loungers had a strong offensive odor, when they were working. I would mention that more members in the morning hours were considerate with wearing masks and socially distancing.Coming from Ohio-Liberty where my club is immaculate and every member is very considerate of one another and they wear their mask and socially distance at all times.

Have always enjoyed working out at this club. It is clean, well organized. The showers and dressing rooms are ample size, very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I recently moved down here and the second I walked through the door the staff was so friendly! Each time you go they welcome you like you’re a friend of theirs. It’s an all around very positive environment and not to mention it’s super clean! I see members of all ages working out and everyone always looks so happy to be there! Definitely the best pf I’ve ever been too!

The gym is very clean. The equipment is spaced out to follow cdc guidelines. There are cleaning stations throughout the whole gym. The employees are very nice and helpful. Every time I have a question they show me while they explain.

Love this gym! Spotless! Tons of equipment! Ive never had to wait for a machine. Ive been to quite a few gyms in my life, this one is my favorite by far. The staff is friendly and helpful. Im never uncomfortable there. Not to mention very reasonable cost. I have the lack membership, cant beat it.

I would normally have given a five star rating but as I witness inequities among customers I had to drop it to a three. You will always have those people who dont feel that they need to wipe down equipment after they use it but when you bring it to the attention of the staff they just brush it off.Now that you are asking customers to wear masks I see staff at this particular PF stop some because they are not complying while others come and go as they please without them.Everyone should be treated the same here and concerns regarding cleaning after equipment use should be done by all...I know they cant keep track of everyone at all times but maybe instead of huddling around the desk they should walk around more often to see whats actually going on.I will continue to do what is right and what is asked of me because I care about everyone else in there and at a time like this I would hate to be a reason why someone might get sick.The overall cleanliness is good but individuals should be held accountable when not doing their part.

I look for a home gym, I want and need to look forward to my daily experience at the gym of my choice. It’s not enough to just go to the gym. I’ve got to look forward to the atmosphere, the moments in-between workouts, when my muscles are cooling down, and I’m not touching the weights.I’ve put a lot of thought into this review, and I want anyone who read it do you understand why this is my home gym. To keep it short; The cleanliness of this gym is how I want my home kept. It’s neat, clean, and organized. Starting out, Ive worked for the YMCA 16 years. I went to Planet 1st time this week with my daughter as a guest. They were great to welcome me & make that easy. I could go on with my opinions of how meetings I witnessed were carried out. But the atmosphere definitely needs to be brighter, more energetic & cooler! Dark purple, dark in general & not ventilated well or something so I can move🤔

A gym for everybody. Yeah theres guys and girls there doing some major body building but everybody does their own thing and thats not an issue. For ten bucks a month its one of the best deals around. Plenty of good equipment and kept clean and working. Staff is competent and helpful. And best yet my health insurance now pays the dues. I hear other plans also pay. Worth looking into.

I am in my 3rd year of membership. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. There on occasion waits on machines but not that long. It has a pleasant smell and looks clean. The price is a good deal.In my first year I used to bring a towel to wipe the sweat away from my face with, but my mistake was to lay it across the machines while working out. Then picking it up when done with each machine and wipe my face. One evening after a good workout when I got home ,after my shower I got a ton of red blotches all over my face. That is when I realized that it must have picked up some kind or bacteria from draping my towel across the machine. I dont bring towels any more cause those red blotches lasted about a week.The only concern now is the same one I have had for all 3 years. The rules of the gym is everyone is to clean the machine after every use. That is great in theory but it is NOT enforced at all. I am tired watching people just getting up and walking away without wiping their machine down. That is something I have bought attention to the staff more then once and even pointed the people out to them. Nothing was said to them as I watched them walk out the door when they were done working out.I have actually went up to people my self to ask them to wipe their machine down. They just blew me off. I see this happening EVERY SINGLE TIME I go there STILL. I think ONLY if it is enforced by the staff actually tapping them on the shoulder and TELLING THEM to their face when they are done with that machine and start to and walk away WHAT THE RULES ARE only then it might change. I would like to see ALL the staff step up and start taking notice, then CONFRONT them. It is not fair that I should have to wipe before and after each use.

I started my fitness journey up with this gym at their Cape Coral location. To date i have lost 45 pounds between diet and exercise. While it may not have every tool an advanced weight lifter might be looking for, there are many ways to work any muscle in your body at Planet Fitness. The biggest thing for me is that its always clean whether im in the locker room, shower, or the training area. I love it here.

This location is very busy on weekday evening when I am able to go.They have a large floor with a lot of equipment many of the aerobic machines like treadmills and bikes and similar were recently replaced and upgraded.For premium members they have hydro massage beds that are very good.The mens locker room is clean and pretty well maintained.For the price I would say it is a good value.They could do a better job maintaining the work out machines and getting members to not monopolize popular pieces of equipment. It is very frustrating when a member drapes their towel over a piece of equipment and sits on the machine looking at their mobile phone like they are in their living room while people are waiting to use the machine for a few minutes.

Great gym for the price. The front desk employees are awesome, good selection of machines, clean locker rooms, and nice benefits for black card members. It can get busy during peak times but Ive never had an issue finding a machine to use.

I just joined this gym couple weeks ago and I am so happy I did. Erika was amazing and so helpful with registration. Of all the gyms I have joined in the past, this has been by far the best! The Hydro massage chairs are amazing!!!! I wish I would have joined sooner. All the staff that I have been in contact with have been so helpful and friendly. It makes the experience at the gym a lot better! Thanks PF... you guys ROCK!

I mived to Cape Coral from Fort Myers and had never switched my home gym, mainly due to Covid and the fact that I put a home gym in my house. After being locked at home for so long I was ready to get back to gym life. I went in expecting the usual planet fitness employees, but this group was a breath of fresh air. Super helpful and very friendly. The gym smelled clean and looked exceptionally clean and taken care of. The temperature was nice and all around I am happy I made the switch. I enjoy going to a place that makes you feel welcone and I found that here. Im happy to be a Cape Coral home gym member here. Way to go staff and thank you for all you do.

You get what you pay for. If youre looking for general fitness for health purposes this place is fine. Tons of cardio equipment, machines and a very large spread in general. Youre just not gonna get the bells and whistles like, basketball court, squat racks, bench press bench, diverse functional equipment, etc. The showers are also a nice touch in the locker, and $10/month is good. Keep in mind of the start-up and annual fee. All in all, for a bottom basement membership, its gonna run you roughly $200/year. They have upgrades but thats totally up to you

I find it funny that they advertise that they are open 24/5 but close at 9pm on friday. If they were truly 24/5 they should close at midnight on friday. Why even make that your slogan if its not even true?? Who approved that marketing aspect?!?? So you are disappointed before you even walk in the door, (because its written on it)..lol... But, i do like the place as far as the gym is. It is clean and has alot of nice machines. But i just had to mention that that...I would also like to add that this 24/5 thing is not only for this particular gym..so it has nothing to do with them.

I went to check it out in the middle of the afternoon. It was very clean, had a lot of equipment, best of all, it wasnt busy at during the day. The downside was that the employee who showed us around seemed to have zero interest in us. Im used to almost being held prisoner in these places until I join. I wasnt ready yet due to time constraints but she didnt know that. I do plan to join so I asked for her information, give her some sort of sign up bonus as is customary. They dont offer that to their employees and explains the lack of interest of the tour. Great if you dont want anyone hounding you but not so much if you have questions about any of the equipment.

Great place with lots of options. I go early morning a d the staff is amazing. With the black card there are tons of benefits my wife and I are able to use.

The place is clean and the gym is kept really great. Why not 5 stars though? Well for starters they gear towards the non fit people and dont have over 70 pound dumbbells or free standing bench press or squat rack. Those compound movements are on the Smith machine. I feel that even beginners should utilize free standing compound movements. The spa section is awesome!!! I visit this location when I visit my parents in Cape Coral.

Lots of equipment to vary your workouts. Even when lots of people in the gym there is still plenty to do. Locker rooms are clean, lots of showers and lockers (bring your own lock). Does not smell like a gym. Huge bonus. Member benefits are great with tanning, water massage, etc.

Been here for about a month now. Switched from another local gym, and I personally like the atmosphere. Members are friendly and the no judgment zone is true. I will definitely stand to say no one wipes down their machines. I always wipe mine down before I start to avoid bacteria as I get sick so easily. The reason for the 3 stars is the staff really doesnt care. Why is it advertised to pay $23 a month to include perks but yet those perks are given to non black card members as well???? Thats a bit annoying. I should just switch to $10 if I can get the extras because they dont check. The only person in the gym who is personable is their location manager, shes awesome.

The staff is super friendly, the gym and changing rooms are very clean, there is a good variety of equipment. I can always find an open machine to work out on.

-Management was notified but did not seem to care, was not helpful and was very rude and unprofessional. I never leave a negative review without first trying to reconcile the issue at hand and since management was not willing to handle this matter professionally, a review is needed so that others are made aware before spending their money on anything-Not very clean. The staff is not very helpful. It’s not a first time customer friendly surroundings. The trainer was not really a trainer and did not show me how to use any equipment and basically just asked how much weight I want to loose and my health and that was that. Just left me to it and was not to be seen after that. It was a waste of money and people that went there were not there to work out. The bathrooms were always stinking and dirty in the showers and equipment was not being cleaned properly. The solution they give you to wipe everything down when you want to use them is always mainly water and very diluted. I got caught in a contract I couldn’t get out of without either paying a lot more money to break it or be forced to continue to return to this awful dirty place while continuing to make my payments until my contract ended. I do not recommend coming here at all!

The gym is a very good size, people Ive talked to that work there are nice, it gets crowded fast. Honestly, not the best gym Ive ever been too. If you have hours that are 24hrs go all in everyday not just a few days. The free weight situation is clear. Almost on every review. Free bars would be very nice. Most gyms have about a dozen. Im just getting back to working out after a long time off and chose your gym. The price is definitely right. Hopefully this review helps others to decide to go here. Theres room to grow for the better and I feel your company has the potential.

This is the gym to join. Get the black card membership. It is very very inexpensive. You get more for your membership than you can dream of. You have to stop in a few times just to realize that the gym and the staff offer. You the most and the best in quality.

This is the 2nd PF Ive worked out at (I moved here nearly a year ago from Ohio), and I have to say I really enjoy this one better! Its clean, and Ive yet to encounter any equipment that doesnt work. I workout 3-4 four days a week, and also use their tanning beds. The beds are always clean, and the womens bathroom is too.Staff cant police non-compliant members who dont clean equipment after use... But in my experience, I dont see it anymore here than I have at other gyms! Some of the previous reviews Ive read arent my experience, at all.Im actually pretty impressed by how many members bring their teens, like I do my daughter! Its great knowing were conditioning our future with healthy lifestyle choices. Keep it up, PF!

This club is a nice place with great employees who will do everything they can to make your experience good. Regrettably, they cant seem to control the temperature in the club. I work out in the morning, and apparently they have no humidity control because its hotter in there and outside. I have a medical condition where I cant handle extreme heat. The staff turns up the fans if I ask, but thats all they can do. The club added solar shades this year. I had high hopes that they would keep the temp down by blocking the east sun. But, not well enough. I need to find a new health club

It is very welcoming and inviting as soon as you walk in the people at the front desk say hello which I love. And when you are leaving they make sure to say bye. I love that it it doesnt feel like anyone is judging you while you work out

Love this gym! Mycol the trainer is great and will keep you on track and will keep reminding you why it’s important to finish strong on your workout, it’s not just about your workout it’s about achieving your goals. All the staff are amazing, best gym ever!! Oh and you can tam & get a massage!!:)

Wife and I both go 4-5 days a week for a year now. Love it. The place is spotless clean; staff friendly; wife has used trainers and likes them: can sometimes get crowded but doesnt last long and its crowded Ill bet cause its so nice so take the crowd thing as a positive. Ive never had a problem getting on weight machines or the treadmill (they have bikes and stair climber too. Cant speak to crowds there but theres many bikes and both upright and recumbent)They have lockers for use by anyone (combo lock you re-set with each use and a great locker room w showers.Nice massage machines, massage chairs and (I havent used these) some tanning booths.As to the monthly deduction from a checking accountand no cash or credit cards: NEVER had a problem w wrong amounts taken out and while I thought it odd at first (checks only no cards) I say: get over it.Price per month is amazing.As to the people there: its a huge number of just average people and NOT just filled w muscle bound lunk heads. Makes everyone feel comfortable. Whether you are into intense muscle workouts (there are many people there who are very impressive and could probably win awards) theres tons of average people (as I am at 65 and no muscle bound specimen) so everyone will feel comfortable; Even if youve let yourself go and should have started working out years ago,theres all sizes & shapes there.They really exemplify their motto of no judgment zones A great place. Would recommend it highly.

I have been coming here for 3 months. Because of COVID I have been getting here at 2 or 3 am. It is not crowded. The place is almost empty at that time. (Great).The night staff is friendly and accommodating. The night time cleaning lady is amazing. She works nonstop. Detailing the equipment and mopping the floor. The staff has masks and wear them when around other people.Anyone who says that this place isnt clean hasnt seen what goes on at 2 or 3 am.

National Chain with a small business mindset. I choose to exercise here even though there are many other options closer to my home and job, in large part due to associates like Alberto who really understand the concept of guest service.

Ive been going to this PF for almost 3 years now. Much nicer facility than any other PF Ive visited while out of town.Staff is always friendly & equipment is always clean and operational. For $10 per month and a $39 yearly due you have no reason to complain.Subtracting 1 star from the review because the shower stalls could really use a clean and disenfect more often with all the use they get everyday.

An excellent location, although I do have gripes with planet fittnesses model. The lunk alarm, and the whole bagel and pizza day thing is counterproductive to say the least.Yet the cheap rates, the ability to use all their gyms, etc, really makes the place worth going to above most all gyms.

I’ve been to many PF around the country, this is definitely a smaller one with the same amount of people. If you are looking to weight lift here, it is quite difficult due to so many people. It was hard to get to any benches, weights, cables, machines etc. I also found it extremely loud inside.

Love this place. You feel comfortable here. No one judges you. This is the first time Ive felt comfortable at a gym.

They make it difficult to cancel. I signed up to give it a try, but I was not able to get there more than a couple of times during the first month. When I called them to cancel, they let me know I need to give them a certified letter or show up in person to cancel it or theyll continue to bill me. If it was easy for me to get there I would keep it, so Ill make a special trip to cancel, but Ill also be sure that I never try them again.

Everyone is always really nice here, I have absolutely no complaints. In fact, I signed up around 1 am last week, and asked for a little help my first night with toning certain muscles. The guy working at the desk helped me and showed me how to exercise those muscles, and how to use every machine that could help with toning! I love this gym, Im going to be going there for a long time

I love this Planet Fitness! Staff are always efficient and they do a good job keeping the gym clean. I love all of the work out machines. I do wish that there were more options for what they show on the Tv though.

Whats with the cry baby reviews!?!? One supposed member whines theres too much purple in the bright, well-lit gym design, another gives a single star cause the place isnt open when he wants to work out (um, 24x7 Mon-Fri and way, way past daylight on the weekends) and yet another complains about not enough free weights (note to phony muscle man; theres more than enough free weights for 95 per cent of us who wanna keep in great shape). Bottom line: Planet Fitness, Cape Coral is a fine, clean and brightly lit gym, with helpful, smiling, knowledgable staff and plenty of equipment for a challenging workout for all. Great place. Whiners: Shut up and sweat a little.

Its fairly easy to get access to all the equipment, sometimes there is a wait to use it but its never a problem everyone here is nice and helpful.l
